In this paper, we study the initial boundary value problems for a nonlinear time-dependent Schrödinger equation with Dirichlet and Neumann boundary conditions, respectively. We prove the existence and uniqueness of solutions of the initial boundary value problems by using Galerkin’s method.  相似文献

We consider the Cauchy problem for the pth order nonlinear Schrödinger equation in one space dimension $$\left\{\begin{array}{ll}iu_{t} + \frac{1}{2} u_{xx} = |u|^{p}, x \in {\bf R}, \, t > 0, \\ \qquad u(0, x) = u_{0} (x), \; x \in {\bf R},\end{array}\right.$$ where \({p > p_{s} = \frac{3 + \sqrt{17}}{2}}\) . We reveal that p = 4 is a new critical exponent with respect to the large time asymptotic behavior of solutions. We prove that if p s p < 4, then the large time asymptotics of solutions essentially differs from that for the linear case, whereas it has a quasilinear character for the case of p > 4.  相似文献

We consider the initial–boundary value problem for the nonlinear Schr‐dinger equations in an exterior domain. Global existence theorem of smooth solutions is established by using a–priori decay estimates of solutions which are obtained by the pseudoconformal indentity  相似文献

It is common practice to approximate a weakly nonlinear wave equation through a kinetic transport equation, thus raising the issue of controlling the validity of the kinetic limit for a suitable choice of the random initial data. While for the general case a proof of the kinetic limit remains open, we report on first progress. As wave equation we consider the nonlinear Schrödinger equation discretized on a hypercubic lattice. Since this is a Hamiltonian system, a natural choice of random initial data is distributing them according to the corresponding Gibbs measure with a chemical potential chosen so that the Gibbs field has exponential mixing. The solution ψ t (x) of the nonlinear Schrödinger equation yields then a stochastic process stationary in x∈? d and t∈?. If λ denotes the strength of the nonlinearity, we prove that the space-time covariance of ψ t (x) has a limit as λ→0 for t=λ ?2 τ, with τ fixed and |τ| sufficiently small. The limit agrees with the prediction from kinetic theory.  相似文献

A high-order finite difference method for the two-dimensional coupled nonlinear Schrödinger equations is considered. The proposed scheme is proved to preserve the total mass and energy in a discrete sense and the solvability of the scheme is shown by using a fixed point theorem. By converting the scheme in the point-wise form into a matrix–vector form, we use the standard energy method to establish the optimal error estimate of the proposed scheme in the discrete L2-norm. The convergence order is proved to be of a fourth-order in space and a second-order in time, respectively. Finally, some numerical examples are given in order to confirm our theoretical results for the numerical method. The numerical results are compared with exact solutions and other existing method. The comparison between our numerical results and those of Sun and Wangreveals that our method improves the accuracy of space and time directions.  相似文献

This paper concerns the existence of standing wave solutions of nonlinear Schrödinger equations. Making a standing wave ansatz reduces the problem to that of studying the semilinear elliptic equation:

The influence of the random perturbations on the fourth-order nonlinear Schrödinger equations,
$iu_t + \Delta ^2 u + \varepsilon \Delta u + \lambda |u|^{p - 1} u = \dot \xi ,(t,x) \in \mathbb{R}^ + \times \mathbb{R}^n ,n \geqslant 1,\varepsilon \in \{ - 1,0, + 1\} ,$
, is investigated in this paper. The local well-posedness in the energy space H 2(? n ) are proved for \(p > \tfrac{{n + 4}}{{n + 2}}\), and p ≤ 2# ? 1 if n ≥ 5. Global existence is also derived for either defocusing or focusing L 2-subcritical nonlinearities.

We consider three-level explicit schemes for solving the nonlinear variable coefficient Schrödinger-type equation. Using spectral and energy methods we establish the stability and convergence of these schemes. The existence of discrete conservation laws is investigated. General results are applied for the DuFort-Frankel and leap-frog diffenrence schemes.  相似文献

In this paper, three numerical schemes with high accuracy for the coupled Schrodinger equations are studied. The conserwtive properties of the schemes are obtained and the plane wave solution is analysised. The split step Runge-Kutta scheme is conditionally stable by linearized analyzed. The split step compact scheme and the split step spectral method are unconditionally stable. The trunction error of the schemes are discussed. The fusion of two solitions colliding with different β is shown in the figures. The numerical experments demonstrate that our algorithms are effective and reliable.  相似文献

We prove the existence of global classical solutions of the Cauchy-problem for nonlinear Schrödinger equations u+iAu+f(|u|2)u or u+Au+if(|u|2)u respectively. We need various growth conditions on the nonlinearity f and some restrictions on the admissible space dimension n.  相似文献

We study the nonlinear Schrödinger equations: \(-\epsilon^{2}\Delta u + V(x)u=u^p,\quad u > 0\quad \mbox{in } {\bf R}^{N},\quad u\in H^{1} ({\bf R}^{N}).\) where p > 1 is a subcritical exponent and V(x) is nonnegative potential function which has “critical frequency” \(\inf_{x\in{\bf R}^{N}} V(x)=0\). We also assume that V(x) satisfies \(0 < \liminf_{|x|\to\infty}V(x)\le \sup_{x\in{\bf R}^{N}}V(x) < \infty\) and V(x) has k local or global minima. In critical frequency cases, Byeon-Wang [5,6] showed the existence of single-peak solutions which concentrating around global minimum of V(x). Their limiting profiles—which depend on the local behavior of the potential V(x)—are quite different features from non-critical frequency case. We show the existence of multi-peak positive solutions joining single-peak solutions which concentrate around prescribed local or global minima of V(x). Moreover, under additional conditions on the behavior of V(x), we state the limiting profiles of peaks of solutions u ε(x) as follows: rescaled function \(w_\epsilon(y)=\left(\frac{g(\epsilon)}{\epsilon}\right)^{\frac{2}{p-1}} u_\epsilon(g(\epsilon)y+x_\epsilon)\) converges to a least energy solution of ?Δw + V 0(y) ww p , w > 0 in Ω0, \(w\in H^{1}_0(\Omega_0)\). Here g(ε), V 0(x) and Ω0 depend on the local behaviors of V(x).  相似文献
