The influence of spin-lattice relaxation on the Mössbauer hyperfine spectra of the Fe3+ ion is investigated in the case of an axial crystal field. All the various influences of the relaxation process on the spectra can be explicitly described using two relaxation parameters. A detailed analysis of the Mössbauer relaxation spectra for the various temperatures, relations between the relaxation parameters and external magnetic field directions is carried out. When the magnetic field direction is nearly collinear with the symmetry axis and one of the relaxation parameters is small, the dynamics of Mössbauer spectra is shown to have anomalous features. The influence of random magnetic fields is shown to give an unconventional development of patterns as a function of the relaxation parameters.  相似文献

The effect of the elastic coupling on the penetration depth in ac magnetic field and on the magnetic permeability in layered superconductors is studied. The results obtained show that λ and μ become functions on the coordinate oriented in the magnetic field direction. In addition, the average permeability increases with the increase of the ratio between of the layer thickness and the elastic coupling depths, and decreases with the increase of the ratio between the elastic coupling depths of the two coupled superconductors.  相似文献

A method for determining the relaxation times of the magnetic moments of ferrites from inverse Fourier transforms is suggested. The effect of the alternating external magnetic field strength on the relaxation times was studied. It was found that the dispersion and absorption ranges in the magnetic spectra are associated with changes in the relaxation times of magnetic moments of ferromagnets.  相似文献

Nickel–rubber nanocomposites were synthesized by incorporating ferromagnetic nickel nanoparticles in a natural rubber as well as neoprene rubber matrix. Complex dielectric permittivity and magnetic permeability of these composites were evaluated in the X-band microwave frequencies at room temperature using cavity perturbation technique. The dielectric loss in natural rubber is smaller compared to neoprene rubber. A steady increase in the dielectric permittivity is observed with increase in the content of nickel in both the composites. The magnetic permeability exhibits a steady decrease with increase in frequency and magnetic loss shows a relaxation at 8 GHz. The suitability of these composites as microwave absorbers is modeled based on the reflection loss which is dependant on the real and imaginary components of the complex dielectric permittivity and magnetic permeability.  相似文献

Analysis shows that it is possible to make use of dispersed magnetic ripple fields to obtain a wide frequency linewidth of permeability spectra of soft magnetic thin films. As-sputtered FeCoN thin film sputtered on flexible Kapton substrate is studied as an example. It has ultrawide frequency linewidths of its resonance peaks in the permeability spectra, compared to its counterpart deposited on Si substrate. The frequency linewidth of FeCoN on Kapton substrate decreases with external magnetic field, showing a different field dependence from that of FeCoN on Si substrate. The ultrawide frequency linewidth and its decrease with external magnetic field are ascribed to the dispersed magnetic ripple fields caused by the flexible substrate. This work shows that the flexible substrate is effective in obtaining a wide frequency linewidth of the permeability spectra of soft magnetic thin films.  相似文献

The molecular dynamics of the homogeneously aligned nematic liquid crystal mixture E7 subject to a magnetic field has been studied. The dielectric spectra study has revealed a low bias magnetic field effect on the evolution of dielectric relaxation spectra occurred at lower (∼kHz) (δ-relaxation) and higher (∼MHz) (α-relaxation) frequency regions. The complex electric modulus, which converted from experimental dielectric spectra, has been analyzed with theoretical model of Debye relaxation. The obtained fitting parameters of relaxation time and strength of dielectric components are shown to vary systematically with the strength of applied magnetic field. A microscopic molecular dynamic model has been proposed to describe the two-step variation of E7 molecular under the bias magnetic field. The results provide implication for magneto-modulation of liquid crystal molecular dynamics under the bias magnetic field.  相似文献

Relaxation behavior measuring of transmitted light through ferrofluids film   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
In this paper, relaxation behavior of transmitted light through thin ferrofluid film under an applied magnetic field is measured. The results show that the intensity of transmitted light through a ferrofluid film increases quickly as soon as an external magnetic field is applied then weakens with time. If uniformity of the field is poor, the transmission of light continuously decreases in a measured duration. Otherwise, the transmission of light will tend increasingly towards a stable value after it decreases to a minimum value while the gradient of the field is low. The relaxation time would increase to an order of some hundreds seconds magnitude and is dependent on the strength of magnetic field and viscosity of the ferrofluids. The field-induced relaxation behaviors of transmitted light through ferrofluids correspond to anisotropic microstructure of the ferrofluids under applied magnetic field. 采用层间胶合方法制备了淬态非晶FeSiB/Cu/FeSiB三明治薄带,研究了同尺寸单层薄带和三明治薄带的巨磁阻抗(giant magneto-impedance, GMI)随外磁场与带轴夹角β的变化特性.结果表明,FeSiB单层薄带在7.0 MHz最佳响应频率下,GMI仅约30%,外磁场与带轴夹角对单层薄带GMI几乎没有影响;三明治薄带的GMI效应则十分显著,在0.6 MHz最佳响应频率下,纵、横向GMI比分别达到272%和464%, GMI随β的增大而增强;所有β角的三明治薄带GMI曲线都出现各向异性峰,各向异性峰随β的增大而展宽.根据磁畴转动模型推导了薄带横向磁导率与各向异性场及β之间的函数关系式.结果显示,三明治薄带GMI随夹角β变化的特性与理论推算的横向磁导率变化有较好的一致性,而单层薄带则不然.该磁畴转动模型能定性解释三明治薄带GMI随外磁场方向变化特性.  相似文献

The permittivity and permeability of composites filled with CrO2 powder are measured within the frequency range from 0.05 to 12 GHz. A sharp line of magnetic absorption is detected near 8 GHz. The effects of magnetic bias and remanence on the permittivity and permeability spectra are analyzed. The hysteretic behavior of dynamic permeability is observed for both parallel and perpendicular bias orientations relative to the microwave magnetic field. The effect is due to switching of the magnetic texture under bias equal to coercive field. At 50 MHz the parallel bias close to coercive field affects permeability much stronger than the perpendicular one. At 10 GHz the effect of perpendicular bias is higher than that of the parallel one. The effect of remanence on the microwave permeability is negligible. The 3 kOe parallel bias suppresses the line of magnetic absorption and decreases the conductivity of the composite and its microwave permittivity. This can be attributed to the magnetostatic interaction of inclusions in the vicinity of the percolation threshold.  相似文献

Mössbauer spectra of LiNbO3: Fe(III)-monocrystals were measured in zero external magnetic field (5mK to 673K). They all show typical lineshapes due to relaxation effects. Below 77K temperature independent and above 77K a temperature-dependent relaxation is observable. In spectra measured in external magnetic fields relaxation effects occur only above 77K. We present least square fits of spectra measured at 300K and external magnetic fields using symmetry invariant reservoir spectral densities. The applied numerical formalism takes the complete electronuclear manifold of57Fe(III) into account. We discuss the problems concerning the interpretation of zero field spectra.  相似文献

Mössbauer spectroscopy studies have been performed on the spinel CoAlxFe2?xO4 (2<-x<-1.7) in the temperature range 77–750 K using either a liquid nitrogen bath cryostat or a furnace. The samples are magnetic at 77 K giving spectra that have magnetic sextets coexisting with a central line which increases in population with the Al-content indicating relaxation effects. The data shows that Al possesses no preference to either tetrahedral or octahedral sites of the ferrite over the whole range of concentration. The Mössbauer hyperfine interaction parameters and magnetic transition temperatures were determined. As expected the hyperfine field and Curie temperature decrease when the Al-content increases.  相似文献

(1)H-(14)N nuclear quadrupole double resonance using magnetic field cycling between high and low magnetic field and solid effect in the low magnetic field is analyzed in details. The transition probabilities per unit time for the solid-effect transitions are calculated. The double resonance spectra are calculated in the limiting cases of fast and slow nitrogen spin-lattice relaxation. The double resonance spectra are measured in histamine and quinolinic acid. In this work, the thickness effect of Fe52Co48 soft magnetic films with in-plane anisotropy on static and microwave magnetic properties was investigated. The hysteresis loop results indicated that the static in-plane uniaxial anisotropy field increased from almost 0-60 Oe with increasing film thickness from 100 to 540 nm and well-defined in-plane uniaxial magnetic anisotropy can be obtained as the thickness reached 540 nm or larger. Based on Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbert (LLG) equation, the microwave complex permeability spectra were analyzed and well fitted. The LLG curve-fitting results indicated that the initial permeability increased from 106 to 142 and the resonant frequency was shifted from 4.95 to 4.29 GHz as the film thickness was varied from 540 to 1500 nm. Moreover, it was found that there was a discrepancy between the static and the dynamically determined anisotropy field, which can be explained by introducing an additional effective isotropic ripple field. The decreased ripple field was suggested to result in a significant decrease of damping coefficient from 0.109 to 0.038.  相似文献

Applied field Mössbauer spectra obtained from ferritin and haemosiderin have been fitted using a spin-Hamiltonian model, to determine the effect of the applied field on the direction of the iron magnetic moments. The results of these fits indicate that the ordering of magnetic moments within the ferrihydrite core of these proteins is antiferromagnetic. The values of the anisotropy field obtained from these fits correspond to much higher values of the superparamagnetic blocking temperatures than those actually observed. This anomaly has implications for our understanding of the superparamagnetic relaxation processes in these materials.  相似文献

Mössbauer spectroscopy in a weak static magnetic field and measurements of isothermal magnetization loops were used to study the effect of polymer coating of the γ-Fe 2 O 3 nanoparticles on the magnetic properties of concentrated ensembles of such nanoparticles. It was found that the individual coating of the nanoparticles by a ~ 1 nm layer of the polymer leads to the observable changes in the shapes of the Mössbauer spectra and the magnetization curves of the ensembles. Modeling of the experimental magnetization curves in the classical Langevin model and analysis of the Mössbauer spectra in the generalized multi-level relaxation model revealed that the establishment of interparticle magnetic dipole interactions leads to both a ~ 30 % increase in the magnetic anisotropy constant and a ~ 35 % increase in the width of the hysteresis loop.  相似文献

The influence of magnetic surface anisotropy on the fast relaxation of the hyperfine field forced by an r.f. field in invar (r.f. collapse effect) has been studied using the Mössbauer technique. The Mössbauer measurements were performed as a function of sample thickness (2.5–12 μm) and intensity (1–9 Oe) of the 50 MHz r.f. field applied. Due to the very high sensitivity of the r.f. collapse effect to the anisotropy field it was possible to detect the influence of “spin pinning” on the r.f. collapse effect. It is shown that a decrease of the sample thickness causes a decrease of the r.f. collapse effect at a given r.f. field frequency and intensity which is connected with the increase of the anisotropy field due to surface anisotropy. The dependence of the r.f. sidebands effect, which accompanies the r.f. collapse effect, on the sample thickness is discussed. The r.f. sidebands effect increases with decreasing sample thickness, which is in good agreement with the magnetostriction model of sidebands formation.  相似文献

We report on the magnetic-field-dependent optically detected magnetic resonance (ODMR) spectra for polycrystalline samples of the bridged Zr(IV) metallocenes, Me2Si<(Cp2)ZrCl2 ( (dimethylsilylbis(cyclopentadienyl)zirconium-dichloride) and Me2C<(Cp2)ZrCl2 (iso-propylidenebis(cyclopentadienyl)zirconium-dichloride). ODMR spectra at zero magnetic field were recorded by frequency sweeping a microwave source from 0.1 to 10 GHz with the sample contained in a microwave helix. ODMR spectra at finite magnetic fields were recorded with the sample contained in either a helix or a slotted-tube resonator with a fixed microwave frequency and sweeping the magnetic field. For all experiments, the sample and microwave probes were contained in an immersion dewar cryostat, and the temperature was held at about 2 K. All three zero field ODMR transitions (2|E|, and |D| − |E| and |D|+|E|) were observed in the frequency-swept ODMR spectra recorded at zero and small magnetic fields. The zero-field frequency-swept spectra allowed the determination ofD andE values uniquely. For frequency-swept small-field ODMR spectra recorded at successively higher magnetic fields, each of the ODMR line intensities was observed to increase with increasing magnetic field. This intensity increase was observed for all three ODMR lines, reflecting an increase in the total intensity rather than simply a change in the polarization of the triplet sublevels. The latter would result in a change in the relative intensities of the ODMR lines but would not change simultaneously the intensities of all three lines. The ODMR line intensities increase in proportion toB n, wheren<1. This field dependence is weaker than the expected proportionalB 2 dependence from the Zeeman effect, which likely originates from the magnetic field dependence of the spin relaxation rates between the triplet sublevels. Magnetic-field-swept ODMR spectra recorded at fixed microwave frequencies in the X-band frequency range (9.8 GHz) do not show all three expected classic Pake powder pattern line shape profiles, exhibited by the molecules with their magneticZ, Y, andX axes parallel to the external magnetic field. In particular, the intensity for molecular magneticY-axes parallel to the external magnetic field is completely suppressed. In addition, an external magnetic field dependence in field-swept ODMR spectra was observed, which results in a linear decrease of the ODMR intensity with increasing strength of the external magnetic field over and above that would be expected in a polycrystalline spectrum. The data are analyzed by simulation of the continuous-wave ESR spectrum with the eigenvalues and eigenvectors of the spin Hamiltonian matrix characterizing the triplet state exhibiting the ODMR spectrum, in conjunction with homotopy, as a function of the orientations of the magnetic axes of the various molecules in a polycrystalline sample. This approach is useful to interpret the experimentally observed ODMR transition frequencies andg-values but does not take the amplitudes in the ODMR spectrum. The corrections required to modify the continuous-wave ESR spectral amplitudes that reproduce the observed ODMR amplitudes are effects associated with the ODMR processes.  相似文献

Out-of-plane ferromagnetic resonance spectra of Co20Ni80/FeMn bilayers with a ground state consisting of stripe ferromagnetic domains as accommodated by ac field-cooling process were measured and analyzed by the Landau–Lifshitz–Gilbert equation. One weak resonance peak that might be the surface spin-wave was observed beside the main resonance peak when the applied field was perpendicular to the film plane. In order to explain the linewidth, the extrinsic magnetic relaxation must be considered, in addition to the intrinsic Gilbert damping effect and the broadening induced by magnetic inhomogeneity. The 19F NMR spectra and spin-lattice relaxation rate, R1, of trifluorovinyldichloroborane as shown in were studied as a function of temperature, T, and magnetic field, B. All logR1 vs 1/T plots show a minimum at 299K indicating the presence if dipolar relaxation at lower T and spin-rotation relaxation at higher T. The R1 values increase with increasing B due to chemical shift anisotropy relaxation. Estimates of the fluorine chemical shift values for F3 (cf. Fig. 1) suggest that there is pi character in the F-C bond. The other two C-F bonds are largely single bonded. No evidence was found for intermolecular exchange of the trifluorovinyl group. Two of the three fluorine atoms show large increases in their NMR linewidth with increasing temperature while the third shows only a small increase but the activation energy for the process is the same for all. The increase in linewidths is due to scalar coupling to the boron atoms. The boron linewidths were measured between 253 and 363K and decreased with increasing temperature. A plot of logR2, where R2 is the linewidth of the boron as a function of 1/T shows some curvature indicating a second relaxation mechanism. This is ascribed to spin-rotation but not enough data are available to be conclusive. In all cases there is a second small set of fluorine peaks that are due to 10B interactions separated from the 11B peaks by amounts varying from 1 to 4 ppm depending on the field and fluorine atom.  相似文献
