A series of functionalized adamantanes: 1,3-bis(1,2,4-triazol-4-yl)(tr(2)ad); 1,3,5-tris(1,2,4-triazol-4-yl)-(tr(3)ad); 1,3,5,7-tetrakis(1,2,4-triazol-4-yl)adamantanes (tr(4)ad) and 3,5,7-tris(1,2,4-triazol-4-yl)-1-azaadamantane (tr(3)ada) were developed as a new family of geometrically rigid polydentate tectons for supramolecular synthesis of framework solids. The coordination compounds were prepared under hydrothermal conditions; their structures reveal a special potential of the triazolyl adamantanes for the generation of highly-connected and open frameworks as well as structures based upon polynuclear metal clusters assembled with short-distance N(1),N(2)-triazole bridges. Complexes [Cd{L}(2)]A·nH(2)O [L = tr(3)ad, A = 2NO(3)(-) (4), CdCl(4)(2-) (5); L = tr(3)ada, A = CdI(4)(2-) (7)] are isomorphous and adopt a layered 3,6-connected structure of CdI(2) type. [{Cu(3)(OH)}(2)(SO(4))(5)(H(2)O)(2){tr(3)ad}(3)]·26H(2)O (6) is a layered polymer based upon Cu(3)(μ(3)-OH) nodes and trigonal tr(3)ad links. In [Cu(3)(OH)(2){tr(3)ada}(2)(H(2)O)(4)](ClO(4))(4) (8), [Cu(2){tr(3)ada}(2)(H(2)O)(3)](SO(4))(2)·7H(2)O (9) and [Cd(2){tr(3)ada}(3)]Cl(4)·28H(2)O (10) (UCl(3)-type net) the organic tripodal ligands bridge polynuclear metal clusters. Complexes [Ag{tr(4)ad}]NO(3)·3.5H(2)O (11) and [Cu{tr(4)ad}(H(2)O)](ClO(4))(2)·3H(2)O (12) have 3D SrAl(2)-type frameworks with the metal ions and adamantane tectons as topologically equivalent tetrahedral nodes, while in [Cd(3)Cl(6){tr(4)ad}(2)]·9H(2)O (13) the ligands bridge trinuclear six-connected Cd(3)Cl(6)(μ-tr)(4)(tr)(2) clusters. In the compounds [Cd(2){tr(2)ad}(4)(H(2)O)(4)](CdBr(4))(2)·2H(2)O (2) and [Cd{tr(2)ad}(4){CdI(3)}(2)]·4H(2)O (3) the bitopic ligands provide simple links between the metal ions, while in [Ag(2){tr(2)ad}(2)](NO(3))(2)·2H(2)O (1) the ligand is tetradentate and generates a 3D framework.  相似文献

Reaction of ArNCO with syn-[MoO(mu-O)(S2CNR2)]2 or syn-[MoO(mu-NAr)(S2CNR2)]2 at 110 degrees C leads to the facile formation of bridging ureato complexes [Mo2(NAr)2(mu-NAr){mu-ArNC(O)NAr}(S2CNR2)2](Ar = Ph, p-tol; R = Me, Et, Pr), formed upon substitution of all oxo ligands and addition of a further equivalent of isocyanate across one of the bridging imido ligands. Related sulfido-bridged complexes [Mo2(NAr)2(mu-S){mu-ArNC(O)NAr}(S2CNR2)2] have been prepared from syn-[Mo2O2(mu-O)(mu-S)(S2CNR2)2]. When reactions with syn-[MoO(mu-NAr)(S2CNEt2)]2 were followed by NMR, intermediates were observed, being formulated as [Mo2O(NAr)(mu-NAr){mu-ArNC(O)NAr}(S2CNEt2)2], which at higher temperatures convert to the fully substituted products. A crystallographic study of [Mo2(N-p-tol)2(mu-S){mu-p-tolNC(O)N-p-tol}(S2CNPr2)2] reveals that the bridging ureato ligand is bound asymmetrically to the dimolybdenum centre-molybdenum-nitrogen bonds trans to the terminal imido ligands being significantly elongated with respect to those cis-a result of the trans-influence of the terminal imido ligands. This trans-influence also leads to a trans-effect, whereby the exchange of aryl isocyanates can occur in a regioselective manner. This is followed by NMR studies and confirmed by a crystallographic study of [Mo2(N-p-tol)2(mu-N-p-tol){mu-p-tolNC(O)NPh}(S2CNEt2)2]--the PhNCO occupying the site trans to the terminal imido ligands. Ureato complexes also react with PhNCS, initially forming [Mo2(NAr)2(mu-S){mu-ArNC(O)NAr}(S2CNR2)2], resulting from exchange of the bridging imido ligand for sulfur, together with small amounts of [Mo2(NAr)2(mu-S)(mu-S2)(S2CNEt2)2], containing bridging sulfide and disulfide ligands. The ureato complexes [Mo2(NAr)2(mu-S){mu-ArNC(O)NAr}(S2CNR2)2] react further with PhNCS to give [Mo2(NAr)2(mu-S)2(S2CNR2)2]n (n = 1, 2), which exist in a dimer-tetramer equilibrium. In order to confirm these results crystallographic studies have been carried out on [Mo2(N-p-tol)2(mu-S)(mu-S2)(S2CNEt2)2] and [Mo2(N-p-tol)2(mu-S)2(S2CNPr2)2]2.  相似文献

(PyH)5[Mo(V)OCl4(H2O)]3Cl2 and (PyH)n[Mo(V)OBr4]n reacted with glycolic acid (H2glyc) or its half-neutralized ion (Hglyc(-)) to afford a series of novel glycolato complexes based on the {Mo(V)2O4}2+ structural core: (PyH)3[Mo2O4Cl4(Hglyc)]. (1)/ 2CH 3CN (1), (PyH) 3[Mo 2O 4Br 4(Hglyc)].Pr(i)OH(2), (PyH)2[Mo2O4(glyc) 2Py 2] (3), (PyH) 4[Mo 4O 8Cl 4(glyc) 2].2EtOH (4), and [Mo 4O 8(glyc) 2Py 4] (5) (Py = pyridine, C 5H 5N; PyH(+) = pyridinium cation, C 5H 5NH (+) and glyc (2-) = a doubly ionized glycolate, (-)OCH 2COO (-)). The compounds were fully characterized by X-ray crystallography and infrared spectroscopy. The Hglyc (-) ion binds to the {Mo 2O 4} (2+) core through a carboxylate end in a bidentate bridging manner, whereas the glyc (2-) ion adopts a chelating bidentate coordination through a deprotonated hydroxyl group and a monodentate carboxylate. The orientations of glyc (2-) ions in 3- 5 are such that the alkoxyl oxygen atoms occupy the sites opposite the multiply bonded oxides. {(C6H5) 4P}[Mo(VI)O 2(glyc)(Hglyc)] ( 6), an oxidized complex, features a reversed orientation of the glyc(2-) ion. The theoretical DFT calculations on the [Mo(V)2O4(glyc) 2Py 2](2-) and [Mo(VI)O2(glyc)2](2-) ions confirm that binding of glycolate with the alkoxyl oxygen to the site opposite the MoO bond is energetically more favorable in {Mo(V)2O4}(2+) species, whereas a reversed orientation of the ligand is preferred in Mo(VI) complexes. An explanation based on the orbital analysis is put forward.  相似文献

A medium-nuclearity mixed-valence polyoxomolybdate [H2Mo16O52]10-={Mo16}(1a) was synthesized using an approach that employed protonated hexamethylenetetramine (HMTAH+) as counter ion and yielded (HMTAH)10 1a.34 H2O (1). The {Mo16} cluster anion exhibits significant nucleophilicity and traps electrophiles such as divalent transition metal ions, resulting in a family of isostructural compounds based on {Mo16M2}-type anions [M(H2O)8H2Mo16O52]6- (M=FeII (2), MnII (3), CoII (4)). The highly reactive nature of the {Mo16} system is also revealed by rearrangement and decomposition reactions of to either slowly form a sodium-bridged heptamolybdate-based chain compound (5) when left in the reaction solution or, in the presence of very high concentrations of electrophiles, to heptamolybdate-based cluster compounds [M2(H2O)9Mo7O24]2- of the {M2Mo7}-type (M=FeII (6), MnII (7)). Compounds were characterised by single crystal X-ray diffraction, elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, magnetic susceptibility measurements, and density functional theory calculations.  相似文献

Nitrosyl complexes with {Ru-NO} (6) and {Ru-NO} (7) configurations have been isolated in the framework of [Ru(trpy)(L)(NO)] ( n+ ) [trpy = 2,2':6',2'-terpyridine, L = 2-phenylimidazo[4,5- f]1,10-phenanthroline] as the perchlorate salts [ 4](ClO 4) 3 and [ 4](ClO 4) 2, respectively. Single crystals of protonated material [ 4-H (+)](ClO 4) 4.2H 2O reveal a Ru-N-O bond angle of 176.1(7) degrees and triply bonded N-O with a 1.127(9) A bond length. Structures were also determined for precursor compounds of [ 4] (3+) in the form of [Ru(trpy)(L)(Cl)](ClO 4).4.5H 2O and [Ru(trpy)(L-H)(CH 3CN)](ClO 4) 3.H 2O. In agreement with largely NO centered reduction, a sizable shift in nu(NO) frequency was observed on moving from [ 4] (3+) (1953 cm (-1)) to [ 4] (2+) (1654 cm (-1)). The Ru (II)-NO* in isolated or electrogenerated [ 4] (2+) exhibits an EPR spectrum with g 1 = 2.020, g 2 = 1.995, and g 3 = 1.884 in CH 3CN at 110 K, reflecting partial metal contribution to the singly occupied molecular orbital (SOMO); (14)N (NO) hyperfine splitting ( A 2 = 30 G) was also observed. The plot of nu(NO) versus E degrees ({RuNO} (6) --> {RuNO} (7)) for 12 analogous complexes [Ru(trpy)(L')(NO)] ( n+ ) exhibits a linear trend. The electrophilic Ru-NO (+) species [ 4] (3+) is transformed to the corresponding Ru-NO 2 (-) system in the presence of OH (-) with k = 2.02 x 10 (-4) s (-1) at 303 K. In the presence of a steady flow of dioxygen gas, the Ru (II)-NO* state in [ 4] (2+) oxidizes to [ 4] (3+) through an associatively activated pathway (Delta S++ = -190.4 J K (-1) M (-1)) with a rate constant ( k [s (-1)]) of 5.33 x 10 (-3). On irradiation with light (Xe lamp), the acetonitrile solution of paramagnetic [Ru(trpy)(L)(NO)] (2+) ([ 4] (2+)) undergoes facile photorelease of NO ( k NO = 2.0 x 10 (-1) min (-1) and t 1/2 approximately 3.5 min) with the concomitant formation of the solvate [Ru (II)(trpy)(L)(CH 3CN)] (2+) [ 2'] (2+). The photoreleased NO can be trapped as an Mb-NO adduct.  相似文献

Triruthenium [(dppe)(2)Ru{-C≡C-1,4-C(6)H(2)-2,5-R(2)-CH═CH-RuCl(CO)(P(i)Pr(3))(2)}(2)](n+) (4a, R = H; 4b, R = OMe) containing unsymmetrical (ethynyl)(vinyl)phenylene bridging ligands and displaying five well-separated redox states (n = 0-4) are compared to their bis(alkynyl)ruthenium precursors (dppe)(2)Ru{-C≡C-1,4-C(6)H(2)-2,5-R(2)-C≡CR'} (2a,b: R' = TMS; 3a,b: R' = H) and their symmetrically substituted bimetallic congeners, complexes {Cl(dppe)(2)Ru}(2){μ-C≡C-1,4-C(6)H(2)-2,5-R(2)-C≡C} (A(a), R = H; A(b), R = OMe) and {RuCl(CO)(P(i)Pr(3))(2)}(2){μ-CH═CH-1,4-C(6)H(2)-2,5-R(2)-CH═CH} (V(a), R = H; V(b), R = OMe) as well as the mixed (ethynyl)(vinyl)phenylene bridged [Cl(dppe)(2)Ru-C≡C-1,4-C(6)H(4)-CH═CH-RuCl(CO)(P(i)Pr(3))(2)] (M(a)). Successive one-electron transfer steps were studied by means of cyclic voltammetry, EPR and UV-vis-NIR-IR spectroelectrochemistry. These studies show that the first oxidation mainly involves the central bis(alkynyl) ruthenium moiety with only limited effects on the appended vinyl ruthenium moieties. The second to fourth oxidations (n = 2, 3, 4) involve the entire carbon-rich conjugated path of the molecule with an increased charge uniformly distributed between the two arms of the molecules, including the terminal vinyl ruthenium sites. In order to assess the charge distribution, we judiciously use (13)CO labeled analogues to distinguish stretching vibrations due to the acetylide triple bonds and the intense and charge-sensitive Ru(CO) IR probe in different oxidation states. The comparison between complex pairs 4a,b(n+) (n = 0-3), A(a,b)(n+) and V(a,b)(n+) (n = 0-2) serves to elucidate the effect of the methoxy donor substituents on the redox and spectroscopic properties of these systems in their various oxidation states and on the metal/ligand contributions to their frontier orbitals.  相似文献

A comparative study of the reactivity of isolobal rhenium and molybdenum carbonylmetallates containing a borole, in [Re(eta5-C4H4BPh)(CO)3]- (2), a boratanaphthalene, in [Mo(eta5-2,4-MeC9H6BMe)(CO)3]- (4a) and [Mo(eta5-2,4-MeC9H6BNi-Pr2)(CO)3]- (4b), a boratabenzene, in [Mo(eta5-3,5-Me2C5H3BNi-Pr2)(CO)3]- (6) or a dimethylaminocyclopentadienyl ligand, in [Mo(eta5-C5H4NMe2)(CO)3]- (7), toward palladium(II), gold(I), mercury(II) and platinum(II) complexes has allowed an evaluation of the role of these pi-bonded ligands on the structures and unprecedented coordination modes observed in the resulting metal-metal bonded, heterometallic complexes. The new metallate 6 was reacted with [AuCl(PPh3)], and with 1 or 2 equiv. HgCl2, which afforded the new heterodinuclear complexes [Au{Mo(eta5-3,5-Me2C5H3BNi-Pr2)(CO)3}(PPh3)] (Mo-Au) (10) and [Hg{Mo(eta5-3,5-Me2C5H3BNi-Pr2)(CO)3}Cl] (Hg-Mo) (11) and the heterometallic chain complex [Hg{Mo(eta5-3,5-Me2C5H3BNi-Pr2)(CO)3}2] (Mo-Hg-Mo) (12), respectively. Reactions of the new metallate 7 with HgCl2, trans-[PtCl2(CNt-Bu)2] and trans-[PtCl2(NCPh)2] yielded the heterodinuclear complex [Hg{Mo(eta5-C5H4NMe2)(CO)3}Cl] (Mo-Hg) (15), the heterotrinuclear chain complexes trans-[Pt{Mo(eta5-C5H4NMe2)(CO)3}2(CNt-Bu)2] (Mo-Pt-Mo) (16) and trans-[Pt{Mo(eta5-C5H4NMe2)(CO)3}2(NCPh)2] (Mo-Pt-Mo) (17), the mononuclear complex [Mo(eta5-C5H4NMe2)(CO)3Cl] (18), the lozenge-type cluster [Mo2Pt2(eta5-C5H4NMe2)2(CO)8] (19) and the heterodinuclear complex [[upper bond 1 start]Pt{Mo(eta5-C5H4N[upper bond 1 end]Me2)(CO)3}(NCPh)Cl](Mo-Pt) (20), respectively. The complexes 11, 16, 17.2THF, 18 and 20 have been structurally characterized by X-ray diffraction and 20 differs from all other compounds in that the dimethylaminocyclopentadienyl ligand forms a bridge between the metals.  相似文献

The present article describes ruthenium nitrosyl complexes with the {RuNO}(6) and {RuNO}(7) notations in the selective molecular frameworks of [Ru(II)([9]aneS(3))(bpy)(NO(+))](3+) (4(3+)), [Ru(II)([9]aneS(3))(pap) (NO(+))](3+) (8(3+)) and [Ru(II)([9]aneS(3))(bpy)(NO˙)](2+) (4(2+)), [Ru(II)([9]aneS(3))(pap)(NO˙)](2+) (8(2+)) ([9]aneS(3) = 1,4,7-trithiacyclononane, bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine, pap = 2-phenylazopyridine), respectively. The nitrosyl complexes have been synthesized by following a stepwise synthetic procedure: {Ru(II)-Cl} → {Ru(II)-CH(3)CN} → {Ru(II)-NO(2)} → {Ru(II)-NO(+)} → {Ru(II)-NO˙}. The single-crystal X-ray structure of 4(3+) and DFT optimised structures of 4(3+), 8(3+) and 4(2+), 8(2+) establish the localised linear and bent geometries for {Ru-NO(+)} and {Ru-NO˙} complexes, respectively. The crystal structures and (1)H/(13)C NMR suggest the [333] conformation of the coordinated macrocyclic ligand ([9]aneS(3)) in the complexes. The difference in π-accepting strength of the co-ligands, bpy in 4(3+) and pap in 8(3+) (bpy < pap) has been reflected in the ν(NO) frequencies of 1945 cm(-1) (DFT: 1943 cm(-1)) and 1964 cm(-1) (DFT: 1966 cm(-1)) and E°({Ru(II)-NO(+)}/{Ru(II)-NO˙}) of 0.49 and 0.67 V versus SCE, respectively. The ν(NO) frequency of the reduced {Ru-NO˙} state in 4(2+) or 8(2+) however decreases to 1632 cm(-1) (DFT: 1637 cm(-1)) or 1634 cm(-1) (DFT: 1632 cm(-1)), respectively, with the change of the linear {Ru(II)-NO(+)} geometry in 4(3+), 8(3+) to bent {Ru(II)-NO˙} geometry in 4(2+), 8(2+). The preferential stabilisation of the eclipsed conformation of the bent NO in 4(2+) and 8(2+) has been supported by the DFT calculations. The reduced {Ru(II)-NO˙} exhibits free-radical EPR with partial metal contribution revealing the resonance formulation of {Ru(II)-NO˙}(major)?{Ru(I)-NO(+)}(minor). The electronic transitions of the complexes have been assigned based on the TD-DFT calculations on their DFT optimised structures. The estimated second-order rate constant (k, M(-1) s(-1)) of the reaction of the nucleophile, OH(-) with the electrophilic {Ru(II)-NO(+)} for the bpy derivative (4(3+)) of 1.39 × 10(-1) is half of that determined for the pap derivative (8(3+)), 2.84 × 10(-1) in CH(3)CN at 298 K. The Ru-NO bond in 4(3+) or 8(3+) undergoes facile photolytic cleavage to form the corresponding solvent species {Ru(II)-CH(3)CN}, 2(2+) or 6(2+) with widely varying rate constant values, (k(NO), s(-1)) of 1.12 × 10(-1) (t(1/2) = 6.2 s) and 7.67 × 10(-3) (t(1/2) = 90.3 s), respectively. The photo-released NO can bind to the reduced myoglobin to yield the Mb-NO adduct.  相似文献

Coordination of the [Mo(3)S(4)(H(2)O)(9)](4+) cluster with the trivacant [AsW(9)O(33)](9-) ion gives the supramolecular complex [{(H(4)AsW(9)O(33))(4)(Mo(3)S(4){H(2)O}(5))}(2)](12-) (1) in good yield. The structure of 1 shows that two [H(4)AsW(9)O(33)](5-) subunits sandwich a single central [Mo(3)S(4)(H(2)O)(5)](4+) ion to give a basic monomeric unit [(H(4)AsW(9)O(33))(2){Mo(3)S(4)(H(2)O)(5)}](6-). In the solid state, a supramolecular dimeric association is evidenced that consists of two [(H(4)AsW(9)O(33))(2){Mo(3)S(4)(H(2)O)(5)}](6-) units held together by twelve hydrogen bonds and four SS contacts. Complex 1 reacts with NaAsO(2), AgNO(3) and CuI to give compounds 2, 3 and 4, respectively. X-ray structural analysis reveals that the molecular arrangements of 2 to 4 are closely related to the parent structure of 1. {AsOH}(2+), Ag(+) and Cu(+) ions are located on three distinct pairs of sites. Two hanging {AsOH}(2+) groups in 2 are symmetrically attached to two opposite {AsW(9)O(33)} subunits. Complex 3 is the first example of an Ag/{Mo(3)S(4)} combination in which the environment of the two equivalent Ag(+) cations is remarkable for containing two sulfur atoms belonging to {Mo(3)S(4)}, two oxygen and one central arsenic atom of the {AsW(9)O(33)} subunits. Potentiometric titration shows that the addition of Ag(+) ions is quantitative and occurs in two successive steps (K(1)=4.1 x 10(6) and K(2)=2.3 x 10(5) L mol(-1)), which is consistent with the retention of the supramolecular cluster in solution. The structure of 4 reveals a single copper atom embedded in the central part of the dimer. The Cu(+) cation is bound to four sulfur atoms to complete a cuboidal moiety. UV/Vis studies in solution indicate that the stability of the dimeric assemblies of 2, 3 and 4 is significantly enhanced by the presence of Cu(+) or Ag(+) ions, which act as additional coordination linkers within the supramolecular cluster. The anions 1 to 4 were characterised by (183)W NMR spectroscopy in solution. The 10-line spectra recorded for each of them are consistent with an averaged C(2h) molecular symmetry in solution.  相似文献

Complexes [Pd{C,N-Ar{C(Me)=NOH}-2}(μ-Cl)](2) (1) with Ar = C(6)H(4), C(6)H(3)NO(2)-5 or C(6)H(OMe)(3)-4,5,6, were obtained from the appropriate oxime, Li(2)[PdCl(4)] and NaOAc. They reacted with neutral monodentate C-, P- or N-donor ligands (L), with [PPN]Cl ([PPN] = Ph(3)P=N=PPh(3)), with Tl(acac) (acacH = acetylacetone), or with neutral bidentate ligands N^N (tetramethylethylenediamine (tmeda), 4,4'-di-tert-butyl-2,2'-bipyridine ((t)Bubpy)) in the presence of AgOTf or AgClO(4) to afford complexes of the types [Pd{C,N-Ar{C(Me)=NOH}-2}Cl(L)] (2), [PPN][Pd{C,N-Ar{C(Me)=NOH}-2}Cl(2)] (3), [Pd{C,N-Ar{C(Me)=NOH}-2}(acac)] (4) or [Pd{C,N-Ar{C(Me)=NOH}-2}(N^N)]X (X = OTf, ClO(4)) (5), respectively. Complexes 1 reacted with bidentate N^N ligands in the presence of a base to afford mononuclear zwitterionic oximato complexes [Pd{C,N-Ar{C(Me)=NO}-2}(N^N)] (6). Dehydrochlorination of complexes 2 by a base yielded dimeric oximato complexes of the type [Pd{μ-C,N,O-Ar{C(Me)[double bond, length as m-dash]NO}-2}L](2) (7). The insertion of XyNC into the Pd-C(aryl) bond of complex 2 produced the mononuclear iminoaryloxime derivative [Pd{C,N-C(=NXy)Ar{C(Me)=NOH}-2}Cl(CNXy)] (8) which, in turn, reacted with [AuCl(SMe(2))] to give [Pd{μ-N,C,N-C(=NXy)Ar{C(Me)=NOH}-2}Cl](2) (9) with loss of XyNC. Some of these complexes are, for any metal, the first containing cyclometalated aryloximato (6, 7) or iminoaryloxime (8, 9) ligands. Various crystal structures of complexes of the types 2, 3, 6, 7, 8 and 9 have been determined.  相似文献

The preparation of additional and useful building blocks for the construction of supramolecular entities with quadruply bonded Mo(2)(4+) units has been explored, and five new mixed-ligand complexes with three types of ligands and various basicities are reported. The ligands used were the DAniF (N,N'-di-p-anisylformamidinate) anion, the acetate anion, and neutral acetonitrile molecules. The formamidinate ligands are the least labile, and the acetonitrile molecules are the most labile. This difference as well as a relatively strong trans directing influence by the formamidinate anions in ligand substitution reactions allows designed synthesis of various mixed-ligand building blocks, including rare pairs of cis and trans isomers. The new compounds are cis-Mo(2)(DAniF)(2)(O(2)CCH(3))(2) (1), trans-Mo(2)(DAniF)(2)(O(2)CCH(3))(2) (2), trans-[Mo(2)(DAniF)(2)(O(2)CCH(3))(CH(3)CN(eq)())(2)]BF(4) (3), trans-[Mo(2)(DAniF)(2)(CH(3)CN(eq)())(4)](BF(4))(2) (4), and [Mo(2)(O(2)CH(3))(CH(3)CN(eq)())(6)(CH(3)CN(ax)())](BF(4))(3) (5), where eq and ax designate equatorial and axial ligands, respectively. A comparison with some previously synthesized complexes is given along with a discussion of the overall reactivity of all compounds.  相似文献

A nitrosylruthenium alkynyl complex of TpRuCl(C[triple bond]CPh)(NO)(1a) was reacted with PPh3 in the presence of HBF4.Et2O at room temperature to give a beta-phosphonio-alkenyl complex (E)-[TpRuCl{CH=C(PPh3)Ph}(NO)]BF4(2.BF4). On the other hand, for gamma-hydroxyalkynyl complexes TpRuCl{C[triple bond]CC(R)2OH}(NO)(R = Me (1b), Ph (1c), H (1d)), similar treatments with PPh3 were found to give gamma-phosphonio-alkynyl [TpRuCl{C[triple bond]CC(Me)2PPh3}(NO)]BF4(3.BF4),alpha-phosphonio-allenyl [TpRuCl{C(PPh3)=C=CPh2}(NO)]BF4(4.BF4), and a novel product of gamma-hydroxy-beta-phosphonio-alkenyl (E)-[TpRuCl{CH=C(PPh3)CH2OH}(NO)]BF4(5.BF4), respectively. Dominant factors for the selectivity in affording 3-5 were associated with the steric congestion and electronic properties at the gamma-carbons, along with those around the metal fragment. From the bis(alkynyl) complex TpRu(C[triple bond]CPh)2(NO)6, a bis(beta-phosphonio-alkenyl)(E,E)-[TpRu{CH=C(PPh3)Ph}2(NO)](BF4)2{7.(BF4)2} was produced at room temperature. However, similar reactions at 0 degrees C gave an alkynyl beta-phosphonio-alkenyl complex (E)-[TpRu(C[triple bondCPh){CH=C(PPh3)Ph}(NO)]BF4(8.BF4) as a sole product, of which additional hydration in the presence of HBF4.Et2O afforded a [small beta]-phosphonio-alkenyl ketonyl (E)-[TpRu{CH2C(O)Ph}{CH=C(PPh3)Ph}(NO)]BF(.9BF4). Reactions of Cd(NO(3))(2)·4H(2)O with TabHPF(6) (TabH = 4-(trimethylammonio)benzenethiol) and Et(3)N in the presence of NH(4)SCN and five other N-donor ligands such as 2,2'-bipyridine (2,2'-bipy), phenanthroline (phen), 2,9-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthroline (2,9-dmphen), 2,6-bis(pyrazd-3-yl)pyridine (bppy) and 2,6-bis(3,5-dimethyl-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)pyridine (bdmppy) gave rise to a family of Cd(II)/thiolate complexes of N-donor ligands, {[Cd(2)(μ-Tab)(4)(NCS)(2)](NO(3))(2)·MeOH}(n) (1), [Cd(2)(μ-Tab)(2)(L)(4)](PF(6))(4) (2: L = 2,2'-bipy; 3: L = phen), [Cd(Tab)(2)(L)](PF(6))(2) (4: L = 2,9-dmphen; 5: L = bppy), and [Cd(2)(μ-Tab)(2)(Tab)(2)(bdmppy)](2)(PF(6))(8)·H(2)O (6·H(2)O). These compounds were characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectra, UV-Vis spectra, (1)H NMR, electrospray ionization (ESI) mass spectra and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. For 1, each [Cd(NCS)](+) fragment is connected to its equivalents via a pair of Tab bridges to a one-dimensional chain. For 2 and 3, two [Cd(2,2'-bipy)(2)](2+) or [Cd(phen)(2)](2+) units are linked by a pair of Tab bridges to form a cationic dimeric structure. The Cd atom in [Cd(Tab)(2)(L)](2+) dication of 4 or 5 is coordinated by two Tab ligands and chelated by two N atoms from 2,9-dmphen (4) or three N atoms from bppy (5), forming a distorted tetrahedral (4) or trigonal bipyramidal (5) coordination geometry. For 6, each of two [Cd(Tab)(bdmppy)] fragments is linked to one [(Tab)Cd(μ-Tab)(2)Cd(Tab)] fragment via two Tab bridges to generate a unique cationic zigzag tetrameric structure where the Cd centers take a tetrahedral or a trigonal bipyramidal coordination geometry. The results may provide an interesting insight into mimicking the coordination spheres of the Cd(II) sites of metallothioneins and their interactions with various N-donor ligands encountered in nature.  相似文献

Reaction of {(mu-bpym)[RuCl(terpy)]2}(PF6)2, bpym = 2,2'-bipyrimidine and terpy = 2,2':6',2'-terpyridine, with NaNO2 yields {(mu-bpym)[Ru(NO2)(terpy)]2}(PF6)2. In CH3CN/0.1 M Bu4NPF6 both dinuclear complexes can undergo two reversible bpym-centered one-electron reduction processes and two metal-centered one-electron oxidation steps, the latter involving mixed-valent intermediates with weak intermetallic coupling. Acidification of {(mu-bpym)[Ru(NO2)(terpy)]2}(PF6)2 does not lead to the expected {(mu-bpym)[Ru(NO)(terpy)]2}6+ but, probably because of the high charge, to the insoluble but structurally and IR-spectroscopically characterised pseudo-base product syn-{(mu-bpym-(4-OH))[Ru(NO)(terpy)]2}(PF6)5. The addition of one hydroxide to one of the 4-positions of bis-chelating bpym interrupts the aromatic pi conjugation and is accompanied by corresponding intra-pyrimidine bond length variations, however, the effect on the electronic interaction of the two different syn positioned {RuNO}6 moieties remains small, possibly due to their situation within the central molecular pi plane.  相似文献

Metal(III)-polypyridine complexes [M(NN)(3)](3+) (M = Ru or Fe; NN = bipyridine (bpy), phenanthroline (phen), or 4,7-dimethylphenanthroline (Me(2)-phen)) oxidize the nitrosylpentaaquachromium(III) ion, [Cr(aq)NO](2+), with an overall 4:1 stoichiometry, 4 [Ru(bpy)(3)](3+) + [Cr(aq)NO](2+) + 2 H(2)O --> 4 [Ru(bpy)(3)](2+) + [Cr(aq)](3+) + NO(3)(-) + 4 H(+). The kinetics follow a mixed second-order rate law, -d[[M(NN)(3)](3+)]/dt = nk[[M(NN)(3)](3+)][[Cr(aq)NO](2+)], in which k represents the rate constant for the initial one-electron transfer step, and n = 2-4 depending on reaction conditions and relative rates of the first and subsequent steps. With [Cr(aq)NO](2+) in excess, the values of nk are 283 M(-1) s(-1) ([Ru(bpy)(3)](3+)), 7.4 ([Ru(Me(2)-phen)(3)](3+)), and 5.8 ([Fe(phen)(3)](3+)). In the proposed mechanism, the one-electron oxidation of [Cr(aq)NO](2+) releases NO, which is further oxidized to nitrite, k = 1.04x10(6) M(-1) s(-1), 6.17x10(4), and 1.12x10(4) with the three respective oxidants. Further oxidation yields the observed nitrate. The kinetics of the first step show a strong correlation with thermodynamic driving force. Parallels were drawn with oxidative homolysis of a superoxochromium(III) ion, [Cr(aq)OO](2+), to gain insight into relative oxidizability of coordinated NO and O(2), and to address the question of the "oxidation state" of coordinated NO in [Cr(aq)NO](2+).  相似文献

Reactions of NO and CO with Fe(II) complexes of the tripodal trithiolate ligands NS3 and PS3* yield trigonal-bipyramidal (TBP) complexes with varying redox states and reactivity patterns with respect to dissociation of the diatomic ligand. The previously reported four-coordinate [Fe(II)(NS3)](-) complex reacts irreversibly with NO gas to yield the S = 3/2 {FeNO}(7) [Fe(NS3)(NO)](-) anion, isolated as the Me(4)N(+) salt. In contrast, the reaction of NO with the species generated by the reaction of FeCl(2) with Li(3)PS3* gives a high yield of the neutral, TBP, S = 1 complex, [Fe(PS3*)(NO)], the first example of a paramagnetic {FeNO}(6) complex. X-ray crystallographic analyses show that both [Fe(NS3)(NO)](-) and [Fe(PS3*)(NO)] feature short Fe-N(NO) distances, 1.756(6) and 1.676(3) A, respectively. However, whereas [Fe(NS3)(NO)]- exhibits a distinctly bent FeNO angle and a chiral pinwheel conformation of the NS3 ligand, [Fe(PS3*)(NO)] has nearly C(3v) local symmetry and a linear FeNO unit. The S = 1 [Fe(II)(PS3)L] complexes, where L = 1-MeIm, CN(-), CO, and NO(+), exhibit a pronounced lengthening of the Fe-P distances along the series, the values being 2.101(2), 2.142(1), 2.165(7), and 2.240(1) A, respectively. This order correlates with the pi-backbonding ability of the fifth ligand L. The cyclic voltammogram of the [Fe(NS3)(NO)](-) anion shows an irreversible oxidation at +0.394 V (vs SCE), apparently with loss of NO, when scanned anodically in DMF. In contrast, [Fe(PS3*)(NO)] exhibits a reversible {FeNO}(6)/{FeNO}(7) couple at a low potential of -0.127 V. Qualitatively consistent with these electrochemical findings, DFT (PW91/STO-TZP) calculations predict a substantially lower gas-phase adiabatic ionization potential for the [Fe(PS3)(NO)](-) anion (2.06 eV) than for [Fe(NS3)(NO)](-) (2.55 eV). The greater instability of the {FeNO}(7) state with the PS3* ligand results from a stronger antibonding interaction involving the metal d(z(2)) orbital and the phosphine lone pair than the analogous orbital interaction in the NS3 case. The antibonding interaction involving the NS3 amine lone pair affords a relatively "stereochemically active" dz2 electron, the z direction being roughly along the Fe-N(NO) vector. As a result, the {FeNO}(7) unit is substantially bent. By contrast, the lack of a trans ligand in [Fe(S(t)Bu)3(NO)](-), a rare example of a tetrahedral {FeNO}(7) complex, results in a "stereochemically inactive" d(z(2)) orbital and an essentially linear FeNO unit.  相似文献

Reactions of CdX2(X=NO3-, ClO4-) with Hatza (atza=5-aminotetrazole-1-acetato anion) and 2,2′-bipyridine (2,2′-bipy) or 1,10-phenanthroline (1,10-phen) in a methanol/aqueous solution produced a set of new Cd(Ⅱ) coordination polymers, {[Cd(atza)(H2O)(2,2′-bipy)]ClO4}n (1), {[Cd(atza)(H2O)(1,10-phen)]ClO4 }n (2), {[Cd(atza)(H2O)(2,2′-bipy)]NO3}n (3) and {[Cd(atza)2 (1,10-phen)]·0.5H2O}n (4). Single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis reveals that each Cd(Ⅱ) ion has a distorted octahedral coordination geometry in 1-4, and the Cd(Ⅱ) ion centers are connected through the tridentate atza bridging ligands to form a 2D layer (1-3) or ID chain (4) structure. The fluorescent properties of 2 and 4 are also discussed.  相似文献

The role of the nitrogen atom on the electronic and magnetic couplings of the mono-oxidized and bi-oxidized pyridine-containing complex models [2,6-{Cp(dpe)Fe-C≡C-}(2)(NC(5)H(3))](n+) and [3,5-{Cp(dpe)Fe-C≡C-}(2)(NC(5)H(3))](n+) is theoretically tackled with the aid of density-functional theory (DFT) and multireference configuration interaction (MR-CI) calculations. Results are analyzed and compared to those obtained for the reference complex [1,3-{Cp*(dppe)Fe-C≡C-)}(2)(C(6)H(4))](n+). The mono-oxidized species show an interesting behavior at the borderline between spin localization and delocalization and one through-bond communication path among the two involving the central ring, is favored. Investigation of the spin state of the dicationic complexes indicates ferromagnetic coupling, which can differ in magnitude from one complex to the other. Very importantly, electronic and magnetic properties of these species strongly depend not only upon the location of the nitrogen atom in the ring versus that of the organometallic end-groups but also upon the architectural arrangement of one terminus, with respect to the other and/or vis-à-vis the central ring. To help validate the theoretical results, the related families of compounds [1,3-{Cp*(dppe)Fe-C≡C-)}(2)(C(6)H(4))](n+), [2,6-{Cp*(dppe)Fe-C≡C-}(2)(NC(5)H(3))](n+), [3,5-{Cp*(dppe)Fe-C≡C-}(2)(NC(5)H(3))](n+) (n = 0-2) were experimentally synthesized and characterized. Electrochemical, spectroscopic (infrared (IR), M?ssbauer), electronic (near-infrared (NIR)), and magnetic properties (electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR), superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID)) are discussed and interpreted in the light of the theoretical data. The set of data obtained allows for many strong conclusions to be drawn. A N atom in the long branch increases the ferromagnetic interaction between the two Fe(III) spin carriers (J > 500 cm(-1)), whereas, when placed in the short branch, it dramatically reduces the magnetic exchange in the di-oxidized species (J = 2.14(5) cm(-1)). In the mixed-valence compounds, when the N atom is positioned on the long branch, the intermediate excited state is higher in energy than the different ground-state conformers and the relaxation process provides exclusively the Fe(II)/Fe(III) localized system (H(ab) ≠ 0). Positioning the N atom on the short branch modifies the energy profile and the diabatic mediating state lies just above the reactant and product diabatic states. Consequently, the LMCT transition becomes less energetic than the MMCT transition. Here, the direct coupling does not occur (H(ab) = 0) and only the coupling through the bridge (c) and the reactant (a) and product (b) diabatic states is operating (H(ac) = H(bc) ≠ 0).  相似文献

To explore the relationships between the structures of ligands and their complexes, we have synthesized and characterized a series of lanthanide complexes with two structurally related ligands, 1,1,1,1-tetrakis{[(2'-(2-benzylaminoformyl))phenoxyl]methyl}methane (L(I)) and 1,1,1,1-tetrakis{[(2'-(2-picolyaminoformyl))phenoxyl]methyl}methane (L(II)). A series of zero- to three-dimensional lanthanide coordination complexes have been obtained by changing the substituents on the Pentaerythritol. Our results revealed that, complexes of the L(I) ligand, {Ln(4)L(I)(3)(NO(3))(12).nC(4)H(10)O}(infinity) (Ln = Nd, Eu, Tb, Er, n = 3 or 6)] show the binodal 3,4-connected three-dimensional interpenetration coordination polymers with topology of a (8(3))(4)(8(6))(3) notation. Compared to L(I), complexes of L(II) present a cage-like homodinuclear [Ln(2)L(II)(2)(NO(3))(6).2H(2)O].nH(2)O (Ln = Nd, Tb, Dy, n = 0 or 1) or a helical one-dimensional coordination {[ErL(II)(NO(3))(3).H(2)O].H(2)O}(infinity) polymer. The luminescence properties of the resulting complexes formed with ions used in fluoroimmunoassays (Ln = Eu, Tb) are also studied in detail. It is noteworthy that subtle variation of the terminal group from benzene to pyridine not only sensibly affects the overall molecular structures but also the luminescence properties as well.  相似文献

A series of tetranuclear compounds consisting of two {Mo2[(m-CF3C6H4)NC(H)N(m-CF3C6H4)]3}n+ moieties linked by two OH- or two O2- ions has been characterized. Abbreviating the dimolybdenum plus three spectator bridging ligands as [Mo2], the following three compounds have been made-[Mo2](mu-OH)2[Mo2] (1), [Mo2](mu-O)2[Mo2] (2), and {[Mo2](mu-O)2[Mo2]}SbF6 (3). Compound 1, which is diamagnetic and contains quadruply bonded Mo2(4+) units, is converted to diamagnetic 2 by oxidation with O2. Compound 2, which has Mo2(5+) units, is oxidized by NOSbF6 to 3 which has a rare Mo2(5.5+) core and an odd electron delocalized over the two dimolybdenum units.  相似文献
