Zeise's anion in strongly basic hydroxylated solvents undergoes unprecedented nucleophilic addition of OR- (R = H, Me, Et) to the eta2-ethene giving trans-[PtCl2(eta1-C2H4OR)(OR)]2- which readily reacts with bidentate nitrogen donors N-N to give Cl- and OR- substitution and formation of [PtCl(CH2CH2OR)(N-N)]. Protonolysis of this stable organometallic species offers a versatile route to cationic [PtCl(eta2-C2H4)(N-N)]+ complexes.  相似文献

Coordination of N,N' bidentate ligands aryl-pyridin-2-ylmethyl-amine ArNH-CH2-2-C5H4N 1 (Ar = 4-CH3-C6H4, 1a; 4-CH3O-C6H4, 1b; 2,6-(CH3)2-C6H3, 1c; 4-CF3-C6H4, 1d) to the moieties [Ru(bipy)2]2+, [Ru(eta5-C5H5)L]+ (L = CH3CN, CO), or [Ru(eta6-arene)Cl]2+ (arene = benzene, p-cymene) occurs under diastereoselective or diastereospecific conditions. Detailed stereochemical analysis of the new complexes is included. The coordination of these secondary amine ligands activates their oxidation to imines by molecular oxygen in a base-catalyzed reaction and hydrogen peroxide was detected as byproduct. The amine-to-imine oxidation was also observed under the experimental conditions of cyclic voltammetry measurements. Deprotonation of the coordinated amine ligands afforded isolatable amido complexes only for the ligand (1-methyl-1-pyridin-2-yl-ethyl)-p-tolyl-amine, 1e, which doesn't contain hydrogen atoms in a beta position relative to the N-H bond. The structures of [Ru(2,2'-bipyridine)2(1b)](PF6)2, 2b; [Ru(2,2'-bipyridine)(2)(1c)](PF6)2, 2c; trans-[RuCl2(COD)(1a)], 3; and [RuCl2(eta6-C6H6)(1a)]PF6, 4a, have been confirmed by X-ray diffraction studies.  相似文献

Photochemical reaction of [CH2(eta5-C5H4)2][Rh(C2H4)2]2 1 with dmso led to the stepwise formation of [CH2(eta5-C5H4)2][Rh(C2H4)2][Rh(C2H4)(dmso)] 2a and [CH2(eta5-C5H4)2][Rh(C2H4)(dmso)]2 2b. Photolysis of 1 with vinyltrimethylsilane ultimately yields three isomeric products of [CH2(eta5-C5H4)2][Rh(CH2=CHSiMe3)2]2, 3a, 3b and 3c which are differentiated by the relative orientations of the vinylsilane. When this reaction is undertaken in d6-benzene, H/D exchange between the solvent and the alpha-proton of the vinylsilane is revealed. In addition evidence for two isomers of the solvent complex [CH2(eta5-C5H4)2][Rh(C2H4)2][Rh(C2H4)(eta2-toluene)] was obtained in these and related experiments when the photolysis was completed at low temperature without substrate, although no evidence for H/D exchange was observed. Photolysis of 1 with Et3SiH yielded the sequential substitution products [CH2(eta5-C5H4)2][Rh(C2H4)2][Rh(C2H4)(SiEt3)H] 4a, [CH2(eta5-C5H4)2][Rh(C2H4)(SiEt3)H]2 4b, [CH2(eta5-C5H4)2][Rh(C2H4)(SiEt3)H][Rh(SiEt3)2(H)2] 4c and [CH2(eta5-C5H4)2][Rh(SiEt3)2(H)2]2 4d; deuteration of the alpha-ring proton sites, and all the silyl protons, of 4d was demonstrated in d6-benzene. This reaction is further complicated by the formation of two Si-C bond activation products, [CH2(eta5-C5H4)2][RhH(mu-SiEt2)]2 5 and [CH2(eta5-C5H4)2][(RhEt)(RhH)(mu-SiEt2)2] 6. Complex 5 was also produced when 1 was photolysed with Et2SiH2. When the photochemical reactions with Et3SiH were repeated at low temperatures, two isomers of the unstable C-H activation products, the vinyl hydrides [CH2(eta5-C5H4)2][{Rh(SiEt3)H}{Rh(SiEt3)}(mu-eta1,eta2-CH=CH2)] 7a and 7b, were obtained. Thermally, 4c was shown to form the ring substituted silyl migration products [(eta5-C5H4)CH2(C5H3SiEt3)][Rh(SiEt3)2(H)2]2 8 while 4b formed [CH2(C5H3SiEt3)2][Rh(SiEt3)2(H)2]2 (9a and 9b) upon reaction with excess silane. The corresponding photochemical reaction with Me3SiH yielded the expected products [CH2(eta5-C5H4)2][Rh(C2H4)2][Rh(C2H4)(SiMe3)H] 10a, [CH2(eta5-C5H4)2][Rh(C2H4)(SiMe3)H]2 10b, [CH2(eta5-C5H4)2][Rh(C2H4)(SiMe3)H][Rh(SiMe3)2(H)2] 10c and [CH2(eta5-C5H4)2][Rh(SiMe3)2(H)2]2 10d. However, three Si-C bond activation products, [CH2(eta5-C5H4)2][(RhMe)(RhH)(mu-SiMe2)2] 11, [CH2(eta5-C5H4)2][(Rh{SiMe3})(RhMe)(mu-SiMe2)2] 12 and [CH2(eta5-C5H4)2][(Rh{SiMe3})(RhH)(mu-SiMe2)2] 13 were also obtained in these reactions.  相似文献

Reactions of [(eta5-C5H5)Ru(PR'3)2(Cl)] with NaBAr(F) [BAr(F)-=B{3,5-[C6H3(CF3)2]}4-; PR'3=PEt3 or 1/2Et2PCH2CH2PEt2) (depe)] and PR2H (R=Ph, a; tBu, b; Cy, c) in C6H5F, or of related cationic Ru(N2) complexes with PR2H in C6H5F, gave the secondary phosphine complexes [(eta5-C5H5)Ru(PR'3)2(PR2H)]+ BAr(F)- (PR'3=PEt3, 3 a-c; 1/2depe, 4 a,b) in 65-91 % yields. Additions of tBuOK (3 a, 4 a; [D6]acetone) or NaN(SiMe3)2 (3 b,c, 4 b; [D8]THF) gave the title complexes [(eta5-C5H5)Ru(PEt3)2(PR2)] (5 a-c) and [(eta5-C5H5)Ru(depe)(PR2)] (6 a,b) in high spectroscopic yields. These complexes were rapidly oxidized in air; with 5 a, [(eta5-C5H5)Ru(PEt3)2{P(=O)Ph2}] was isolated (>99 %). The reaction of 5 a and elemental selenium yielded [(eta5-C5H5)Ru(PEt3)2{P(=Se)Ph2}] (70 %); selenides from 5 c and 6 a were characterized in situ. Competitive deprotonation reactions showed that 5 a is more basic than the rhenium analog [(eta5-C5H5)Re(NO)(PPh3)(PPh2)], and that 6 b is more basic than PtBu3 and P(iPrNCH2CH2)3N. The latter is one of the most basic trivalent phosphorus compounds [pK(a)(acetonitrile) 33.6]. Complexes 5 a-c and 6 b are effective ligands for Pd(OAc)2-catalyzed Suzuki coupling reactions: 6 b gave a catalyst nearly as active as the benchmark organophosphine PtBu3; 5 a, with a less bulky and electron-rich PR2 moiety, gave a less active catalyst. The reaction of 5 a and [(eta3-C3H5)Pd(NCPh)2]+ BF4- gave the bridging phosphido complex [(eta5-C5H5)Ru(PEt3)2(PPh2)Pd(NCPh)(eta3-C3H5)]+ BAr(F)- in approximately 90 % purity. The crystal structure of 4 a is described, as well as substitution reactions of 3 b and 4 b.  相似文献

Addition of the new phosphonium carborane salts [HPR(3)][closo-CB(11)H(6)X(6)] (R = (i)Pr, Cy, Cyp; X = H 1a-c, X = Br 2a-c; Cy = C(6)H(11), Cyp = C(5)H(9)) to [Rh(nbd)(mu-OMe)](2) under a H(2) atmosphere gives the complexes Rh(PR(3))H(2)(closo-CB(11)H(12)) 3 (R = (i)Pr 3a, Cy 3b, Cyp 3c) and Rh(PR(3))H(2)(closo-CB(11)H(6)Br(6)) 4 (R = (i)Pr 4a, Cy 4b, Cyp 4c). These complexes have been characterised spectroscopically, and for 4b by single crystal X-ray crystallography. These data show that the {Rh(PR(3))H(2)}(+) fragment is interacting with the lower hemisphere of the [closo-CB(11)H(6)X(6)](-) anion on the NMR timescale, through three Rh-H-B or Rh-Br interactions for complexes 3 and 4 respectively. The metal fragment is fluxional over the lower surface of the cage anion, and mechanisms for this process are discussed. Complexes 3a-c are only stable under an atmosphere of H(2). Removing this, or placing under a vacuum, results in H(2) loss and the formation of the dimer species Rh(2)(PR(3))(2)(closo-CB(11)H(12))(2) 5a (R = (i)Pr), 5b (R = Cy), 5c (R = Cyp). These dimers have been characterised spectroscopically and for 5b by X-ray diffraction. The solid state structure shows a dimer with two closely associated carborane monoanions surrounding a [Rh(2)(PCy(3))(2)](2+) core. One carborane interacts with the metal core through three Rh-H-B bonds, while the other interacts through two Rh-H-B bonds and a direct Rh-B link. The electronic structure of this molecule is best described as having a dative Rh(I) --> Rh(III), d(8)--> d(6), interaction and a formal electron count of 16 and 18 electrons for the two rhodium centres respectively. Addition of H(2) to complexes 5a-c regenerate 3a-c. Addition of alkene (ethene or 1-hexene) to 5a-c or 3a-c results in dehydrogenative borylation, with 1, 2, and 3-B-vinyl substituted cages observed by ESI-MS: [closo-(RHC[double bond, length as m-dash]CH)(x)CB(11)H(12-x)](-)x = 1-3, R = H, C(4)H(9). Addition of H(2) to this mixture converts the B-vinyl groups to B-ethyl; while sequential addition of 4 cycles of ethene (excess) and H(2) to CH(2)Cl(2) solutions of 5a-c results in multiple substitution of the cage (as measured by ESI-MS), with an approximately Gaussian distribution between 3 and 9 substitutions. Compositionally pure material was not obtained. Complexes 4a-c do not lose H(2). Addition of tert-butylethene (tbe) to 4a gives the new complex Rh(P(i)Pr(3))(eta(2)-H(2)C=CH(t)Bu)(closo-CB(11)H(6)Br(6)) 6, characterised spectroscopically and by X-ray diffraction, which show coordination of the alkene ligand and bidentate coordination of the [closo-CB(11)H(6)Br(6)](-) anion. By contrast, addition of tbe to 4b or 4c results in transfer dehydrogenation to give the rhodium complexes Rh{PCy(2)(eta(2)-C(6)H(9))}(closo-CB(11)H(6)Br(6)) 7 and Rh{PCyp(2)(eta(2)-C(5)H(7))}(closo-CB(11)H(6)Br(6)) 9, which contain phosphine-alkene ligands. Complex has been characterised crystallographically.  相似文献

This paper describes the design of a series of luminescent rhenium(I) polypyridine biotin complexes containing different spacer-arms, [Re(N-N)(CO)3 (py-4-CH2-NH-biotin)](PF6) (py-4-CH2-NH-biotin = 4-(biotinamidomethyl)pyridine; N-N = 1,10-phenanthroline, phen (1a), 3,4,7,8-tetramethyl-1,10-phenanthroline, Me4-phen (2a), 2,9-dimethyl-4,7-diphenyl-1,10-phenanthroline, Me2-Ph2-phen (3a), dipyrido[3,2-f:2',3'-h]quinoxaline, dpq (4a)), [Re(N-N)(CO)3 (py-3-CO-NH-en-NH-biotin)](PF6) (py-3-CO-NH-en-NH-biotin = 3-(N-((2-biotinamido)ethyl)amido)pyridine; N-N = phen (1b), Me4-phen (2b), Me2-Ph2-phen (3b), dpq (4b)), and [Re(N-N)(CO)3 (py-4-CH2-NH-cap-NH-biotin)](PF6) (py-4-CH2-NH-cap-NH-biotin = 4-(N-((6-biotinamido)hexanoyl)aminomethyl)pyridine; N-N = phen (1c), Me4-phen (2c), Me2-Ph(2)-phen (3c), dpq (4c)). Upon irradiation, all of the rhenium(I)-biotin complexes exhibited intense and long-lived triplet metal-to-ligand charge-transfer (3MLCT) (d pi(Re) --> pi* (diimine)) emission in fluid solutions at 298 K. The interactions of these biotin-containing complexes with avidin have been studied by 4'-hydroxyazobenzene-2-carboxylic acid (HABA) assays, emission titrations, and competitive association and dissociation assays. On the basis of the results of these experiments, homogeneous assays for biotin and avidin have been designed.  相似文献

The doubly bridged pyridine-2-thionate (pyS) dimolybdenum complex [Mo(eta(3)-C(3)H(5))(CO)(2)](2)(mu-eta(1),eta(2)-pyS)(2) (1) is accessible by the reaction of [Mo(eta(3)-C(3)H(5))(CO)(2)(CH(3)CN)(2)Br] with pySK in methanol at room temperature. Complex 1 reacts with piperidine in acetonitrile to give the complex [Mo(eta(3)-C(3)H(5))(CO)(2)(eta(2)-pyS)(C(5)H(10)NH)] (2). Treatment of 1 with 1,10-phenanthroline (phen) results in the formation of complex [Mo(eta(3)-C(3)H(5))(CO)(2)(eta(1)-pyS)(phen)] (3), in which the pyS ligand is coordinated to Mo through the sulfur atom. Four conformational isomers, endo,exo-complexes [Mo(eta(3)-C(3)H(5))(CO)(eta(2)-pyS)(eta(2)-diphos)] (diphos = dppm, 4a-4d; dppe, 5a-5d), are accessible by the reactions of 1 with dppm and dppe in refluxing acetonitrile. Homonuclear shift-correlated 2-D (31)P((1)H)-(31)P((1)H) NMR experiments of the mixtures 4a-4d have been employed to elucidate the four stereoisomers. The reaction of 4 and pySK or [Mo(CO)(3)(eta(1)-SC(5)H(4)NH)(eta(2)-dppm)] (6) and O(2) affords allyl-displaced seven-coordinate bis(pyridine-2-thionate) complex [Mo(CO)(eta(2)-pyS)(2)(eta(2)-dppm)] (7). All of the complexes are identified by spectroscopic methods, and complexes 1, 5d, 6, and 7 are determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Complexes 1 and 5d crystallize in the orthorhombic space groups Pbcn and Pbca with Z = 4 and 8, respectively, whereas 6 belongs to the monoclinic space group C2/c with Z = 8 and 7 belongs to the triclinic space group Ponemacr; with Z = 2. The cell dimensions are as follows: for 1, a = 8.3128(1) A, b = 16.1704(2) A, c = 16.6140(2) A; for 5d, a = 17.8309(10) A, b = 17.3324(10) A, c = 20.3716(11) A; for 6, a = 18.618(4) A, b = 16.062(2) A, c = 27.456(6) A, beta = 96.31(3) degrees; for 7, a = 9.1660(2) A, b = 12.0854(3) A, c = 15.9478(4) A, alpha = 78.4811(10) degrees, beta = 80.3894(10) degrees, gamma = 68.7089(11) degrees.  相似文献

A comparative study of the reactivity of isolobal rhenium and molybdenum carbonylmetallates containing a borole, in [Re(eta5-C4H4BPh)(CO)3]- (2), a boratanaphthalene, in [Mo(eta5-2,4-MeC9H6BMe)(CO)3]- (4a) and [Mo(eta5-2,4-MeC9H6BNi-Pr2)(CO)3]- (4b), a boratabenzene, in [Mo(eta5-3,5-Me2C5H3BNi-Pr2)(CO)3]- (6) or a dimethylaminocyclopentadienyl ligand, in [Mo(eta5-C5H4NMe2)(CO)3]- (7), toward palladium(II), gold(I), mercury(II) and platinum(II) complexes has allowed an evaluation of the role of these pi-bonded ligands on the structures and unprecedented coordination modes observed in the resulting metal-metal bonded, heterometallic complexes. The new metallate 6 was reacted with [AuCl(PPh3)], and with 1 or 2 equiv. HgCl2, which afforded the new heterodinuclear complexes [Au{Mo(eta5-3,5-Me2C5H3BNi-Pr2)(CO)3}(PPh3)] (Mo-Au) (10) and [Hg{Mo(eta5-3,5-Me2C5H3BNi-Pr2)(CO)3}Cl] (Hg-Mo) (11) and the heterometallic chain complex [Hg{Mo(eta5-3,5-Me2C5H3BNi-Pr2)(CO)3}2] (Mo-Hg-Mo) (12), respectively. Reactions of the new metallate 7 with HgCl2, trans-[PtCl2(CNt-Bu)2] and trans-[PtCl2(NCPh)2] yielded the heterodinuclear complex [Hg{Mo(eta5-C5H4NMe2)(CO)3}Cl] (Mo-Hg) (15), the heterotrinuclear chain complexes trans-[Pt{Mo(eta5-C5H4NMe2)(CO)3}2(CNt-Bu)2] (Mo-Pt-Mo) (16) and trans-[Pt{Mo(eta5-C5H4NMe2)(CO)3}2(NCPh)2] (Mo-Pt-Mo) (17), the mononuclear complex [Mo(eta5-C5H4NMe2)(CO)3Cl] (18), the lozenge-type cluster [Mo2Pt2(eta5-C5H4NMe2)2(CO)8] (19) and the heterodinuclear complex [[upper bond 1 start]Pt{Mo(eta5-C5H4N[upper bond 1 end]Me2)(CO)3}(NCPh)Cl](Mo-Pt) (20), respectively. The complexes 11, 16, 17.2THF, 18 and 20 have been structurally characterized by X-ray diffraction and 20 differs from all other compounds in that the dimethylaminocyclopentadienyl ligand forms a bridge between the metals.  相似文献

Chloro complexes [RuCl(N-N)P3]BPh4 (1-3) [N-N = 2,2'-bipyridine, bpy; 1,10-phenanthroline, phen; 5,5'-dimethyl-2,2'-bipyridine, 5,5'-Me2bpy; P = P(OEt)3, PPh(OEt)2 and PPh2OEt] were prepared by allowing the [RuCl4(N-N)].H2O compounds to react with an excess of phosphite in ethanol. The bis(bipyridine) [RuCl(bpy)2[P(OEt)3]]BPh4 (7) complex was also prepared by reacting RuCl2(bpy)2.2H2O with phosphite and ethanol. Treatment of the chloro complexes 1-3 and 7 with NaBH4 yielded the hydride [RuH(N-N)P3]BPh4 (4-6) and [RuH(bpy)2P]BPh4 (8) derivatives, which were characterized spectroscopically and by the X-ray crystal structure determination of [RuH(bpy)[P(OEt)3]3]BPh4 (4a). Protonation reaction of the new hydrides with Br?nsted acid was studied and led to dicationic [Ru(eta2-H2)(N-N)P3]2+ (9, 10) and [Ru(eta(2-H2)(bpy)2P]2+ (11) dihydrogen derivatives. The presence of the eta2-H2 ligand was indicated by a short T(1 min) value and by the measurements of the J(HD) in the [Ru](eta2-HD) isotopomers. From T(1 min) and J(HD) values the H-H distances of the dihydrogen complexes were also calculated. A series of ruthenium complexes, [RuL(N-N)P3](BPh4)2 and [RuL(bpy)2P](BPh4)2 (P = P(OEt)3; L = H2O, CO, 4-CH3C6H4NC, CH3CN, 4-CH3C6H4CN, PPh(OEt)2], was prepared by substituting the labile eta2-H2 ligand in the 9, 10, 11 derivatives. The reactions of the new hydrides 4-6 and 8 with both mono- and bis(aryldiazonium) cations were studied and led to aryldiazene [Ru(C6H5N=NH)(N-N)P3](BPh4)2 (19, 21), [[Ru(N-N)P3]2(mu-4,4'-NH=NC6H4-C6H4N=NH)](BPh4)4 (20), and [Ru(C6H5N=NH)(bpy)2P](BPh4)2 (22) derivatives. Also the heteroallenes CO2 and CS2 reacted with [RuH(bpy)2P]BPh4, yielding the formato [Ru[eta1-OC(H)=O](bpy)2P]BPh4 and dithioformato [Ru[eta1-SC(H)=S](bpy)2P]BPh4 derivatives.  相似文献

Complex 3, [Ru(eta2-BH4)(CO)(Et)L2] (L = PMe2Ph) can be converted by nucleophiles L' {a, PMe2Ph; b, P(OMe)3; c, Me3CNC; d, CO} to alkyl and acyl complexes [Ru(eta1-BH4)(CO)(Et)L2L'] (4a), [Ru(eta2-BH4)(COEt)L2L'] (5a-d), and [Ru(eta1-BH4)(COEt)L2L'2] (7d and isomers 7c and 10c). Deprotection can then be achieved under conditions mild enough to allow study of the resulting alkyl hydride complexes [Ru(CO)(Et)HL2L'] (1a, 1b) and acyl hydride complexes [Ru(COEt)HL2L'2] (8c, 8d) prior to elimination of ethane and propanal respectively, with formation of ruthenium(0) complexes [Ru(CO)L2L'2] (6a, 6b, 6d). With Me3CNC, however, the final product is (depending on the solvent used) [Ru(CNCMe3)2{C(H)NCMe3}(COEt)L2] (9c) or [Ru(CNCMe3)3(COEt)L2]+ (11c). Successive treatment of [Ru(eta2-BH4)(CO)HL2], , with ethene and then CO yields propanal, but turning this into a catalytic cycle is hindered by the greater readiness of to yield propanal non-catalytically (reacting with CO) than catalytically (reacting with H2).  相似文献

Secondary phosphine complexes of the formula [(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))Ru(L)(2)(PHR(2))](+) BAr(F)(-) are prepared from cationic ruthenium N(2) complexes and PHR(2) (R = Ph (a), t-Bu (b), Cy (c)). Additions of t-BuOK or NaN(SiMe(3))(2) give the phosphido complexes (eta(5)-C(5)H(5))Ru(L)(2)(PR(2)) ((L)(2) = (PEt(3))(2) (5a-c), depe (6a,b)) in high NMR yields. These rapidly oxidize in air to give isolable RuP(=O)R(2) species. Complex 5a is more basic than the rhenium analogue (eta(5)-C(5)H(5))Re(NO)(PPh(3))(PPh(2)), and 6b is more basic than P-t-Bu(3). Complexes 5a-c and 6b are effective ligands for palladium-catalyzed Suzuki reactions. The catalyst from 6b is nearly as reactive as that from the benchmark ligand P-t-Bu(3).  相似文献

The hydroxo compounds [Re(OH)(CO)(3)(N-N)] (N-N=bipy, 2 a; Me(2)-bipy, 2 b) were prepared in a biphasic H(2)O/CH(2)Cl(2) medium by reaction of [Re(OTf)(CO)(3)(N-N)] with KOH. In contrast, when anhydrous CH(2)Cl(2) was used, the binuclear hydroxo-bridged compound [[Re(CO)(3)(bipy)](2)(mu-OH)]OTf (3-OTf) was obtained. Compound [Re(OH)(CO)(3)(Me(2)-bipy)] (2 b) reacted with phenyl acetate or vinyl acetate to afford [Re(OAc)(CO)(3)(Me(2)-bipy)] (4) and phenol or acetaldehyde, respectively. The reactions of [Mo(OH)(eta(3)-C(3)H(4)-Me-2)(CO)(2)(phen)] (1), 2 a, and 2 b toward several unsaturated organic electrophiles were studied. The reaction of 1 with (p-tolyl)isocyanate afforded an adduct of N,N'-di(p-tolyl)urea and the carbonato-bridged compound [[Mo(eta(3)-C(3)H(4)-Me-2)(CO)(2)(phen)](2)(mu-eta(1)(O),eta(1)(O)-CO(3))] (5). In contrast, the reaction of 2 a with phenylisocyanate afforded [Re(OC(O)NHPh)(CO)(3)(bipy)] (6); this results from formal PhNCO insertion into the O-H bond. On the other hand, compounds [Mo[SC(O)NH(p-tolyl)](eta(3)-C(3)H(4)-Me-2)(CO)(2)(phen)] (7), [Re[SC(O)NH(p-tolyl)](CO)(3)(Me(2)-bipy)] (8 a), and [Re[SC(O)NHEt](CO)(3)(Me(2)-bipy)] (8 b) were obtained by reaction of 1 or 2 b with the corresponding alkyl or aryl isothiocyanates. In those cases, RNCS was inserted into the M-O bond. The reactions of 1, 2 a, and 2 b with dimethylacetylenedicarboxylate (DMAD) gave the complexes [Mo[C(OH)-C(CO(2)Me)C(CO(2)Me)-O](eta(3)-C(3)H(4)-Me-2)(CO)(phen)] (9) and [Re[C(OH)C(CO(2)Me)C(CO(2)Me)O](CO)(2)(N-N)] (N-N=bipy, 10 a; Me(2)-bipy, 10 b). The molecules of these compounds contain five-membered metallacycles that are the result of coupling between the hydroxo ligand, DMAD, and one of the CO ligands. The new compounds were characterized by a combination of IR and NMR spectroscopy, and for [[Re(CO)(3)(bipy)(2)(mu-OH)]BF(4) (3-BF(4)), 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 b, 9, and 10 b, also by means of single-crystal X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

Deprotonation of the phosphamonocarbaborane, exo-6-R-arachno-6,7-PCB(8)H(12) (R = Ph 1a or Me 1b), yields exo-6-R-arachno-6,7-PCB(8)H(11)(-), which when reacted with appropriate transition-metal reagents affords new metallaphosphamonocarbaborane complexes in which the metals adopt endo-eta(1), exo-eta(1), eta(4), eta(5), or eta(6) coordination geometries bonded to the formal R-arachno-PCB(8)H(11)(-), R-arachno-PCB(8)H(10)(2-), R-arachno-PCB(8)H(9)(3-), or R-nido-PCB(8)H(9)(-) ligands. The reaction of exo-6-(C(6)H(5))-arachno-6,7-PCB(8)H(11)(-) (1a-) with Mn(CO)(5)Br generated the eta(1)-sigma product exo-6-[Mn(CO)(5)]-endo-6-(C(6)H(5))-arachno-6,7-PCB(8)H(11) (2) having the [Mn(CO)(5)] fragment in the thermodynamically favored exo position at the P6 cage atom. On the other hand, reaction of 1a- with (eta(5)-C(5)H(5))Fe(CO)(2)I resulted in the formation of two products, an eta(1)-sigma complex endo-6-[(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))Fe(CO)(2)]-exo-6-(C(6)H(5))-arachno-6,7-PCB(8)H(11) (3) having the (eta(5)-C(5)H(5))Fe(CO)(2) fragment attached at the endo-P6 position and an eta(6)-closo complex, 1-(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))-2-(C(6)H(5))-closo-1,2,3-FePCB(8)H(9) (4a). Rearrangement of the endo-compound 3 to its exo-isomer 5 was observed upon photolysis of 3. Synthesis of the methyl analogue of 4a, 1-(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))-2-CH(3)-closo-1,2,3-FePCB(8)H(9) (4b), along with a double-insertion product, 1-CH(3)-2,3-(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))(2)-2,3,1,7-Fe(2)PCB(8)H(9) (6), containing two iron atoms eta(5)-coordinated to a formal R-arachno-PCB(8)H(9)(3-), was achieved by reaction of exo-6-CH(3)-arachno-6,7-PCB(8)H(11)(-) (1b-) with FeCl(2) and Na(+)C(5)H(5)(-). Complexes 4a and 4b can be considered ferrocene analogues, in which an Fe(II) is sandwiched between C(5)H(5)(-) and 6-R-nido-6,9-PCB(8)H(9)(-) anions. Reaction of exo-6-(C(6)H(5))-arachno-6,7-PCB(8)H(11)(-) (1a-) with cis-dichlorobis(triphenylphosphine)platinum (II) afforded two compounds, an eta(1)-sigma complex with the metal fragment again in the endo-P6 position, endo-6-[cis-(Ph(3)P)(2)PtCl]-exo-6-(C(6)H(5))-arachno-6,7-PCB(8)H(11) (7) and an eta(4)-complex, 7-(C(6)H(5))-11-(Ph(3)P)(2)-nido-11,7,8-PtPCB(8)H(10) (8) containing the formal R-arachno-PCB(8)H(10)(2)(-) anion. The structures of compounds 2, 3, 4a, 4b, 6, 7, and 8 were crystallographically confirmed.  相似文献

The reaction of the complex [Mo(OTf)(eta(3)-C(3)H(4)-Me-2)(CO)(2)(phen)] (1) (OTf = trifluoromethylsulfonate; phen = 1,10-phenanthroline) with tetrabutylammonium fluoride trihydrate afforded the fluoride complex [MoF(eta(3)-C(3)H(4)-Me-2)(CO)(2)(phen)] (2). The IR spectrum and the oxidation potential of 2 reflect the fact that its metal center is more electron-rich than that of the chloro analogue [MoCl(eta(3)-C(3)H(4)-Me-2)(CO)(2)(phen)]. Compound 2 reacted with 1 affording the homobinuclear complex [[Mo(eta(3)-C(3)H(4)-Me-2)(CO)(2)(phen)](2)(mu-F)][OTf] (3), with a fluoride bridge. Compound 2 also reacts with the species generated in situ by triflate abstraction from [M(OTf)(CO)(3)('N-N')] (M = Mn, Re; 'N-N' = 2,2'-bipyridine (bipy), phen) using NaBAr'(4) (Ar' = 3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl), affording the heterobinuclear complexes [[Mo(eta(3)-C(3)H(4)-Me-2)(CO)(2)(phen)](mu-F)[M(CO)(3)('N--N')]][BAr'(4)] (M = Mn, 'N-N' = bipy (4); M = Re, 'N-N' = phen (5)). All new compounds have been characterized by spectroscopic methods (IR and NMR) and, in the case of 1, 2, 3, and 4, also by means of X-ray diffraction analysis.  相似文献

The ethene derivatives [(eta(5)-C(5)R(5))RuX(C(2)H(4))(PPh(3))] with R=H and Me, which have been prepared from the eta(3)-allylic compounds [(eta(5)-C(5)R(5))Ru(eta(3)-2-MeC(3)H(4))(PPh(3))] (1, 2) and acids HX under an ethene atmosphere, are excellent starting materials for the synthesis of a series of new halfsandwich-type ruthenium(II) complexes. The olefinic ligand is replaced not only by CO and pyridine, but also by internal and terminal alkynes to give (for X=Cl) alkyne, vinylidene, and allene compounds of the general composition [(eta(5)-C(5)R(5))RuCl(L)(PPh(3))] with L=C(2)(CO(2)Me)(2), Me(3)SiC(2)CO(2)Et, C=CHCO(2)R, and C(3)H(4). The allenylidene complex [(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))RuCl(=C=C=CPh(2))(PPh(3))] is directly accessible from 1 (R=H) in two steps with the propargylic alcohol HC triple bond CC(OH)Ph(2) as the precursor. The reactions of the ethene derivatives [(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))RuX(C(2)H(4))(PPh(3))] (X=Cl, CF(3)CO(2)) with diazo compounds RR'CN(2) yield the corresponding carbene complexes [(eta(5)-C(5)R(5))RuX(=CRR')(PPh(3))], while with ethyl diazoacetate (for X=Cl) the diethyl maleate compound [(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))RuCl[eta(2)-Z-C(2)H(2)(CO(2)Et)(2)](PPh(3))] is obtained. Halfsandwich-type ruthenium(II) complexes [(eta(5)-C(5)R(5))RuCl(=CHR')(PPh(3))] with secondary carbenes as ligands, as well as cationic species [(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))Ru(=CPh(2))(L)(PPh(3))]X with L=CO and CNtBu and X=AlCl(4) and PF(6), have also been prepared. The neutral compounds [(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))RuCl(=CRR')(PPh(3))] react with phenyllithium, methyllithium, and the vinyl Grignard reagent CH(2)=CHMgBr by displacement of the chloride and subsequent C-C coupling to generate halfsandwich-type ruthenium(II) complexes with eta(3)-benzyl, eta(3)-allyl, and substituted olefins as ligands. Protolytic cleavage of the metal-allylic bond in [(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))Ru(eta(3)-CH(2)CHCR(2))(PPh(3))] with acetic acid affords the corresponding olefins R(2)C=CHCH(3). The by-product of this process is the acetato derivative [(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))Ru(kappa(2)-O(2)CCH(3))(PPh(3))], which can be reconverted to the carbene complexes [(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))RuCl(=CR(2))(PPh(3))] in a one-pot reaction with R(2)CN(2) and Et(3)NHCl.  相似文献

The novel water-soluble ruthenium(II) complexes [RuCl(2)(eta(6)-arene)[P(CH(2)OH)(3)]]2a-c and [RuCl(eta(6)-arene)[P(CH(2)OH)(3)](2)][Cl]3a-c have been prepared in high yields by reaction of dimers [[Ru(eta(6)-arene)(micro-Cl)Cl](2)](arene = C(6)H(6)1a, p-cymene 1b, C(6)Me(6)1c) with two or four equivalents of P(CH(2)OH)(3), respectively. Complexes 2/3a-c are active catalysts in the redox isomerization of several allylic alcohols into the corresponding saturated carbonyl compounds under water/n-heptane biphasic conditions. Among them, the neutral derivatives [RuCl(2)(eta(6)-C(6)H(6))[P(CH(2)OH)(3)]]2a and [RuCl(2)(eta(6)-p-cymene)[P(CH(2)OH)(3)]]2b show the highest activities (TOF values up to 600 h(-1); TON values up to 782). Complexes 2/3a-c also catalyze the hydration of terminal alkynes.  相似文献

The reactivity of isolobal molybdenum carbonylmetalates containing a 2-boratanaphthalene, [Mo(eta5-2,4-MeC9H6BMe)(CO)3]- (5a) and [Mo(eta5-2,4-MeC9H6BNi-Pr2)(CO)3]- (5b), a 1-boratabenzene, [Mo(eta5-3,5-Me2C5H3BNi-Pr2)(CO)3]- (8), or a functionalized cyclopentadienyl ligand, the new metalate [Mo(eta5-C5H4Ph)(CO)3]- (7) and [Mo(eta5-C5H4NMe2)(CO)3]- (9), toward palladium (I and II) or platinum (I and II) complexes, such as trans-[PdCl2(NCPh)2], [Pd2(NCMe)6](BF4)2, trans-[PtCl2(PEt3)2], and [N(n-Bu)4]2 [Pt2Cl4(CO)2], has been investigated, and this has allowed an evaluation of the influence of the pi-bonded ligands on the structures and unprecedented coordination modes observed in the resulting metal-metal-bonded heterometallic clusters. The new 58 CVE planar-triangulated centrosymmetric clusters, [Mo2Pd2(eta5-C5H4Ph)2(CO)6(PEt3)2] (11), [Mo2Pd2(eta5-2,4-MeC9H6BNi-Pr2)2(CO)6] (12), [Mo(2)Pd(2)(eta5-3,5-Me2C5H3BNi-Pr2)2(CO)6] (13), [Mo2Pd2(eta5-C5H4NMe2)2(CO)6(PEt3)2] (15), [Mo2Pt2(eta5-C5H4NMe2)2(CO)6(PEt3)2] (16), and [Mo2Pt2(eta5-C5H4NMe2)2(CO)8] (20), have been characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Their structural features were compared with those of the 54 CVE cluster [Re2Pd2(eta5-C4H4BPh)2(CO)6)] (4), previously obtained from the borole-containing metalate [Re(eta5-C4H4BPh)(CO)3]- (2), in which a 2e-3c B-C(ipso)-Pd interaction involving the pi-ring was observed. As an extension of what has been observed in 4, clusters 12 and 13 present a direct interaction of the boratanaphthalene (12) and the boratabenzene (13) ligands with palladium. In clusters 11, 15, 16, and 20, the pi-ring does not interact with the palladium (11 and 15) or platinum centers (16 and 20), which confers to these clusters a geometry very similar to that of [Mo2Pd2(eta5-C5H5)2(CO)6(PEt3)2] (3b). The carbonylmetalates [Mo(pi-ring)(CO)3]- are thus best viewed as formal four electron donors which bridge a dinuclear d9-d9 unit. The orientation of this building block in the clusters influences the shape of their metal cores and the bonding mode of the bridging carbonyl ligands. The crystal structure of new centrosymmetric complex [Mo(eta5-C5H4Ph)(CO)3]2 (10) was determined, and it revealed intramolecular contacts of 2.773(4) A between the carbon atoms of carbonyl groups across the metal-metal bond and intermolecular bifurcated interactions between the carbonyl oxygen atoms (2.938(4) and 3.029(4) A), as well as intermolecular C-H...pi(Ar)(C=C) interactions (2.334(3) and 2.786(4) A) involving the phenyl substituents.  相似文献

We were able, for the first time, to synthesize and characterize Pt derivatives with a structural shape similar to vitamin E, having a metalla-chromane core. The formation reaction mechanism includes an unexpected highly selective ortho aromatic electrophilic substitution on phenol, operated by [PtCl(eta(1)-C(2)H(4)OR)(N-N)], R = Me or Ph, and a final cyclization step. The X-ray structure of one of the new metalla-chromane complexes [Pt(EtPh)(phen)],1a, (EtPh = 2-(ethan-2'-yl-kC(1))-1-phenolato-k0(1), phen = 1,10-phenanthroline) is reported. Cytotoxicity and Pt uptake measurements, performed on HeLa cancer cells, show an interesting structure-activity correlation for the new metalla-chromane analogues 1a and [Pt(MeOEtPh)(phen)], 1b, (MeOEtPh = 2-(ethan-2'-yl-kC(1))-4-(methoxy)-1-phenolato-k0(1)), being the structurally closest to vitamin E and also the most active.  相似文献

We report the synthesis, characterization, and photophysical and electrochemical properties of a series of luminescent rhenium(I) diimine indole complexes, [Re(N-N)(CO)3(L)](CF3SO3) (N-N = 3,4,7,8-tetramethyl-1,10-phenanthroline (Me4-phen), L = N-(3-pyridoyl)tryptamine (py-3-CONHC2H4-indole) (1a), N-[N-(3-pyridoyl)-6-aminohexanoyl]tryptamine, (py-3-CONHC5H10CONHC2H4-indole) (1b); N-N = 1,10-phenanthroline (phen), L = py-3-CONHC2H4-indole (2a), py-3-CONHC5H10CONHC2H4-indole (2b); N-N = 2,9-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthroline (Me2-phen), L = py-3-CONHC2H4-indole (3a), py-3-CONHC5H10CONHC2H4-indole (3b); N-N = 4,7-diphenyl-1,10-phenanthroline (Ph2-phen), L = py-3-CONHC2H4-indole (4a), py-3-CONHC5H10CONHC2H4-indole (4b)), and their indole-free counterparts, [Re(N-N)(CO)3(py-3-CONH-Et)](CF3SO3) (py-3-CONH-Et = N-ethyl-(3-pyridyl)formamide; N-N = Me4-phen (1c), phen (2c), Me2-phen (3c), Ph2-phen (4c)). The X-ray crystal structure of complex 3a has also been investigated. Upon irradiation, most of the complexes exhibited triplet metal-to-ligand charge-transfer (3MLCT) (d pi(Re) --> pi*(diimine)) emission in fluid solutions at 298 K and in low-temperature glass. However, the structural features and long emission lifetimes of the Me4-phen complexes in solutions at room temperature suggest that the excited state of these complexes exhibited substantial triplet intraligand (3IL) (pi --> pi*) (Me4-phen) character. The binding interactions of these complexes to indole-binding proteins including bovine serum albumin and tryptophanase have been examined.  相似文献

Hydride complexes [FeH(N-N)P3]BPh4 (1, 2) [N-N = 2,2'-bipyridine (bpy) and 1,10-phenanthroline (phen); P = P(OEt)4, PPh(OEt)2, and PPh2OEt] were prepared by allowing FeCl2(N-N) to react with phosphite in the presence of NaBH4. The hydrides [FeH(bpy)2P]BPh4 (3) [P = P(OEt)3 and PPh(OEt)2] were prepared by reacting the tris(2,2'-bipyridine) [Fe(bpy)3]Cl2.5H2O complex with the appropriate phosphite in the presence of NaBH4. The protonation reaction of 1 and 2 with acid was studied and led to thermally unstable (above -20 degrees C) dihydrogen [Fe(eta2-H2)(N-N)P3]2+ (4, 5) derivatives. The presence of the H2 ligand is indicated by short T(1 min) values (3.1-3.6 ms) and by J(HD) measurements (31.2-32.5 Hz) of the partially deuterated derivatives. Carbonyl [Fe(CO)(bpy)[P(OEt)3]3](BPh4)2 (6) and nitrile [Fe(CH3CN)(N-N)P3](BPh4)2 (7, 8) [N-N = bpy, phen; P = P(OEt)3 and PPh(OEt)2] complexes were prepared by substituting the H2 ligand in the eta2-H2 4, 5 derivatives. Aryldiazene complexes [Fe(ArN=NH)(N-N)P3](BPh4)2 (9, 10, 11) (Ar = C6H5, 4-CH3C6H4) were also obtained by allowing hydride [FeH(N-N)P3]BPh4 derivatives to react with aryldiazonium cations in CH2Cl2 at low temperature.  相似文献
