Let be a smoothly bounded domain. Suppose Ω has a defining function, such that the sum of any q eigenvalues of its complex Hessian is non-negative. Let and denote the complexifications of Heisenberg hypersurfaces in and , respectively. We show that non-degenerate holomorphic Segre mappings from into with possess a partial rigidity property. As an application, we prove that the holomorphic Segre non-transversality for a holomorphic Segre map from into with propagates along Segre varieties. We also give an example showing that this propagation property of holomorphic Segre transversality fails when N > 2n − 2.  相似文献

In this article we extend Milnor’s fibration theorem to the case of functions of the form with f, g holomorphic, defined on a complex analytic (possibly singular) germ (X, 0). We further refine this fibration theorem by looking not only at the link of , but also at its multi-link structure, which is more subtle. We mostly focus on the case when X has complex dimension two. Our main result (Theorem 4.4) gives in this case the equivalence of the following three statements:
(i)  The real analytic germ has 0 as an isolated critical value;
(ii)  the multilink is fibered; and
(iii)  if is a resolution of the holomorphic germ , then for each rupture vertex (j) of the decorated dual graph of π one has that the corresponding multiplicities of f, g satisfy: .
Moreover one has that if these conditions hold, then the Milnor-Lê fibration of is a fibration of the multilink . We also give a combinatorial criterium to decide whether or not the multilink is fibered. If the meromorphic germ f/g is semitame, then we show that the Milnor-Lê fibration given by is equivalent to the usual Milnor fibration given by . We study cyclicity of operators on a separable Banach space which admit a bicyclic vector such that the norms of its images under the iterates of the operator satisfy certain growth conditions. A simple consequence of our main result is that a bicyclic unitary operator on a Banach space with separable dual is cyclic. Our results also imply that if is the shift operator acting on the weighted space of sequences , if the weight ω satisfies some regularity conditions and ω(n) = 1 for nonnegative n, then S is cyclic if . On the other hand one can see that S is not cyclic if the series diverges. We show that the question of Herrero whether either S or S* is cyclic on admits a positive answer when the series is convergent. We also prove completeness results for translates in certain Banach spaces of functions on .  相似文献

In most cases where it has been shown to exist the derived McKay correspondence can be written as a Fourier–Mukai transform which sends point sheaves of the crepant resolution Y to pure sheaves in . We give a sufficient condition for to be the defining object of such a transform. We use it to construct the first example of the derived McKay correspondence for a non-projective crepant resolution of . Along the way we extract more geometrical meaning out of the Intersection Theorem and learn to compute θ-stable families of G-constellations and their direct transforms.  相似文献

Let be the variety of irreducible sextics with six cusps as singularities. Let be one of irreducible components of . Denoting by the space of moduli of smooth curves of genus 4, we consider the rational map sending the general point [Γ] of Σ, corresponding to a plane curve , to the point of parametrizing the normalization curve of Γ. The number of moduli of Σ is, by definition the dimension of Π(Σ). We know that , where ρ(2, 4, 6) is the Brill–Noether number of linear series of dimension 2 and degree 6 on a curve of genus 4. Let F be a class of functions on a probability space (Ω, μ) and let X 1,...,X k be independent random variables distributed according to μ. We establish an upper bound that holds with high probability on for every t > 0, and that depends on a natural geometric parameter associated with F. We use this result to analyze the supremum of empirical processes of the form for p > 1 using the geometry of F. We also present some geometric applications of this approach, based on properties of the random operator 〈X i , ·〉e i , where are sampled according to an isotropic, log-concave measure on .  相似文献

In this paper we establish a general weighted L q -theory of the Stokes operator in the whole space, the half space and a bounded domain for general Muckenhoupt weights . We show weighted L q -estimates for the Stokes resolvent system in bounded domains for general Muckenhoupt weights. These weighted resolvent estimates imply not only that the Stokes operator generates a bounded analytic semigroup but even yield the maximal L p -regularity of in the respective weighted L q -spaces for arbitrary Muckenhoupt weights . This conclusion is archived by combining a recent characterisation of maximal L p -regularity by -bounded families due to Weis [Operator-valued Fourier multiplier theorems and maximal L p -regularity. Preprint (1999)] with the fact that for L q -spaces -boundedness is implied by weighted estimates.  相似文献

It is proved that CR functions on a quadratic cone M in , n > 1, admit one-sided holomorphic extension if and only if M does not have two-sided support, a geometric condition on M which generalizes minimality in the sense of Tumanov. Let be such that each is a signed measure on R d belonging to the Kato class K d, 1. A Brownian motion in R d with drift is a diffusion process in R d whose generator can be informally written as . When each is given by U i (x)dx for some function U i , a Brownian motion with drift is a diffusion in R d with generator . In Kim and Song (Ill J Math 50(3):635–688, 2006), some properties of Brownian motions with measure-value drifts in bounded smooth domains were discussed. In this paper we prove a scale invariant boundary Harnack principle for the positive harmonic functions of Brownian motions with measure-value drifts in bounded Lipschitz domains. We also show that the Martin boundary and the minimal Martin boundary with respect to Brownian motions with measure-valued drifts coincide with the Euclidean boundary for bounded Lipschitz domains. The results of this paper are also true for diffusions with measure-valued drifts, that is, when is replaced by a uniformly elliptic divergence form operator with C 1 coefficients or a uniformly elliptic non-divergence form operator with C 1 coefficients. Let be the classical kernel density estimator based on a kernel K and n independent random vectors X i each distributed according to an absolutely continuous law on . It is shown that the processes , , converge in law in the Banach space , for many interesting classes of functions or sets, some -Donsker, some just -pregaussian. The conditions allow for the classical bandwidths h n that simultaneously ensure optimal rates of convergence of the kernel density estimator in mean integrated squared error, thus showing that, subject to some natural conditions, kernel density estimators are ‘plug-in’ estimators in the sense of Bickel and Ritov (Ann Statist 31:1033–1053, 2003). Some new results on the uniform central limit theorem for smoothed empirical processes, needed in the proofs, are also included.   相似文献

We show that for any odd prime p there is a smooth projective threefold W defined over a p-adic field such that the Chow group CH2(W)/ and the Griffiths group Griff2(W)/ are infinite for suitable primes . We further give examples of smooth projective fourfolds over these p-adic fields for which the -torsion subgroup CH3 is infinite.  相似文献

In this article we study nondegenerate projective curves of degree d which are not arithmetically Cohen-Macaulay. Note that for a rational normal curve and a point . Our main result is about the relation between the geometric properties of X and the position of P with respect to . We show that the graded Betti numbers of X are uniquely determined by the rank of P with respect to . In particular, X satisfies property N 2,p if and only if . Therefore property N 2,p of X is controlled by and conversely can be read off from the minimal free resolution of X. This result provides a non-linearly normal example for which the converse to Theorem 1.1 in (Eisenbud et al., Compositio Math 141:1460–1478, 2005) holds. Also our result implies that for nondegenerate projective curves of degree d which are not arithmetically Cohen–Macaulay, there are exactly distinct Betti tables.  相似文献

We study extensions of p-local finite groups where the kernel is a p-group. In particular, we construct examples of saturated fusion systems which do not come from finite groups, but which have normal p-subgroups such that is the fusion system of a finite group. One of the tools used to do this is the concept of a “transporter system”, which is modelled on the transporter category of a finite group, and is more general than a linking system. B.
