We demonstrate for the six vertex and XXZ model parameterized by = –(q+q-1)/2±1 that when q2N=1 for integer N2 the Bethe's ansatz equations determine only the eigenvectors which are the highest weights of the infinite dimensional sl2 loop algebra symmetry group of the model. Therefore in this case the Bethe's ansatz equations are incomplete and further conditions need to be imposed in order to completely specify the wave function. We discuss how the evaluation parameters of the finite dimensional representations of the sl2 loop algebra can be used to complete this specification.  相似文献

We study the exact solution of the Gaudin model with Dzyaloshinsky–Moriya and Kaplan–Shekhtman–Entin–Wohlman–Aharony interactions. The energy and Bethe ansatz equations of the Gaudin model can be obtained via the off-diagonal Bethe ansatz method. Based on the off-diagonal Bethe ansatz solutions, we construct the Bethe states of the inhomogeneous X X X Heisenberg spin chain with the generic open boundaries. By taking a quasi-classical limit, we give explicit closed-form expression of the Bethe states of the Gaudin model. From the numerical simulations for the small-size system, it is shown that some Bethe roots go to infinity when the Gaudin model recovers the U(1) symmetry. Furthermore,it is found that the contribution of those Bethe roots to the Bethe states is a nonzero constant. This fact enables us to recover the Bethe states of the Gaudin model with the U(1) symmetry. These results provide a basis for the further study of the thermodynamic limit, correlation functions, and quantum dynamics of the Gaudin model.  相似文献

The Bose-Hubbard model is a paradigm for the study of strongly correlated bosonic systems. We study the two-site Bose-Hubbard model with generic integrable open boundaries specified by the most general non-diagonal reflecting matrices. Besides the inhomogeneous parameters, the model itself has three free boundary parameters, which break the U(1)-symmetry, in other words, break the particle number conservation. The Hamiltonian H under these circumstances is constructed. With the help of the off-diagonal Bethe Ansatz method, we successfully obtain the corresponding Bethe Ansatz equations as well as the eigenvalues.  相似文献

The XXX Gaudin model with generic integrable open boundaries specified by the most general non-diagonal reflecting matrices is studied. Besides the inhomogeneous parameters, the associated Gaudin operators have six free parameters which break the U(1)U(1)-symmetry. The density of the Fisher zeroes, or zeroes of the partition function in the complex temperature plane, is determined for the Ising model in zero field as well as in a pure imaginary field i/2. Results are given for the simple-quartic, triangular, honeycomb, and the kagomé lattices. It is found that the density diverges logarithmically at points along its loci in appropriate variables.  相似文献

This is a continuation of the papers of Bleher and Fokin (Commun. Math. Phys., 268:223–284, 2006) and of Bleher and Liechty (Commun. Math. Phys., 286:777–801, 2009), in which the large n asymptotics is obtained for the partition function Z n of the six-vertex model with domain wall boundary conditions in the disordered and ferroelectric phases, respectively. In the present paper we obtain the large n asymptotics of Z n on the critical line between these two phases. We derive a finite-size scaling representation for the partition function for an Onsager-Temperley string model with a wetting transition, and analyze the zeros of this partition function in the complex scaled coupling parameter of relevance. The system models the one-dimensional interface between two phases in a rectangular two-dimensional region (x, y) 2,–L yL,oxN. The two phases are at coexistence. The string or interface has a surface tension 2KkT per unit length and an extra Boltzmann weighta per unit length if it touches the surfaces aty=±L. There is a critical valuea c=1/2K and fora>a c the string is confined to one of the surfaces, while fora a c the string moves roughly in the rectangular region. The finite-size scaling parameters are =a c 2 N/L 2 and =L(a–a c)/a c 2 . We find that for || large, the zeros of the scaled partition function lie close to the lines arg()=±/4 with re()>0. We discuss the motion of all the zeros as changes by both analytic and numerical arguments.  相似文献

This paper presents the computation of radiation heat transfer in a cylindrical enclosure in which the dimensions, the chemical species concentrations and the temperature fields make a realistic representation of an actual combustion chamber. Two gas models are applied and compared: the absorption-line blackbody distribution function (ALBDF), and the standard weighted-sum-of-gray-gases (WSGG) based on coefficients and correlations that are widely used in engineering. While the standard WSGG is restricted to the assumption of homogeneous gas mixture, the ALBDF can be applied to both homogeneous and non-homogeneous media. For the two gas models, the radiative exchanges are computed with the aid of the Monte Carlo method. The results show considerable discrepancies between the WSGG and the ALBDF models for the homogeneous medium. In addition, the importance of considering the non-homogeneity of the medium for an accurate computation of the radiative heat transfer is shown.  相似文献
