We present a hybrid numerical method for simulating fluid flow through a compliant, closed tube, driven by an internal source and sink. Fluid is assumed to be highly viscous with its motion described by Stokes flow. Model geometry is assumed to be axisymmetric, and the governing equations are implemented in axisymmetric cylindrical coordinates, which capture 3D flow dynamics with only 2D computations. We solve the model equations using a hybrid approach: we decompose the pressure and velocity fields into parts due to the surface forcings and due to the source and sink, with each part handled separately by means of an appropriate method. Because the singularly-supported surface forcings yield an unsmooth solution, that part of the solution is computed using the immersed interface method. Jump conditions are derived for the axisymmetric cylindrical coordinates. The velocity due to the source and sink is calculated along the tubular surface using boundary integrals. Numerical results are presented that indicate second-order accuracy of the method.  相似文献

We consider a new way of establishing Navier wall laws. Considering a bounded domain Ω of R N , N=2,3, surrounded by a thin layer Σ ε , along a part Γ2 of its boundary Ω, we consider a Navier-Stokes flow in Ω∪Ω∪Σ ε with Reynolds’ number of order 1/ε in Σ ε . Using Γ-convergence arguments, we describe the asymptotic behaviour of the solution of this problem and get a general Navier law involving a matrix of Borel measures having the same support contained in the interface Γ2. We then consider two special cases where we characterize this matrix of measures. As a further application, we consider an optimal control problem within this context.  相似文献

通过数值求解三维不可压缩Navier-Stokes方程,研究了振荡圆柱绕流的旋涡不稳定性.研究表明,在一定的参数范围内,由于旋涡不稳定性,振荡流动由二维演化成三维流动,并沿圆柱轴向形成交错排列的三维涡结构.数值计算合理地预测了三维涡结构的空间失稳波长,并与实验测试值相符很好.文中还进一步研究了圆柱的受力特性,通过求解Morison方程,计算了圆柱的阻力和惯性力特性,其计算结果与已有的实验数据相吻合.  相似文献

本文对理想流体与线弹性结构的耦联振动问题作理论分析和数值分析.文中证明了耦联振动的固有频率存在并且均为正实数.将流-固耦合系统分析转化为单一结构物在真空中的自由振动分析后,频率方程中不再含有流体变元.使问题得以大大简化.给出了数值解的收敛性证明,以保证解的可靠性.文中还综合里兹法、边界元和有限元方法,提出一种分析转化后结构的混合算法.利用该算法,只需对现有结构分析程序稍作改进,就可分析那些理想流场与结构的耦合问题.一些数例说明了算法的有效性.  相似文献

We consider the evolution of viscous fluids in a 2D horizontally periodic slab bounded above by a free top surface and below by a fixed flat bottom. This is a free boundary problem. The dynamics of the fluid are governed by the incompressible stationary Navier–Stokes equations under the influence of gravity and the effect of surface tension. We develop the global theory of solutions in low regularity Sobolev spaces for small data by nonlinear energy estimates.  相似文献

This paper presents a method for solving the linear semi-implicit immersed boundary equations which avoids the severe time step restriction presented by explicit-time methods. The Lagrangian variables are eliminated via a Schur complement to form a purely Eulerian saddle point system, which is preconditioned by a projection operator and then solved by a Krylov subspace method. From the viewpoint of projection methods, we derive an ideal preconditioner for the saddle point problem and compare the efficiency of a number of simpler preconditioners that approximate this perfect one. For low Reynolds number and high stiffness, one particular projection preconditioner yields an efficiency improvement of the explicit IB method by a factor around thirty. Substantial speed-ups over explicit-time method are achieved for Reynolds number below 100. This speedup increases as the Eulerian grid size and/or the Reynolds number are further reduced.  相似文献

发展了一种模拟固壁近旁轴对称Stokes流中粘性液滴的运动和变形及直接计算固壁上应力的边界积分方法.用此方法对不同的液滴-固壁初始相对间距、粘度比、表面张力和浮力联合参数以及环境流动参数情况进行了数值实验.数值结果显示,由于环境流动和浮力的作用,随着时间的推进,液滴在轴向压缩,在径向拉伸.当环境流动的作用弱于浮力作用时,随着时间的推移,液滴上升并向上弯,固壁上由液滴运动所引起的应力不断减小.当环境流动的作用强于浮力作用时,随着时间的推移,液滴变得越来越扁.在这种情形,当大初始间距时,壁面上的应力随液滴的演变而增大;当小初始间距时,由环境流动、浮力及壁面对流动的较强作用的联合影响,此应力随液滴的演变而减小.由于液滴运动所引起的壁面应力的有效作用仅限于对称轴附近的一个小范围内,且此范围随液滴与固壁的初始间距增大而增大.应力的大小随初始间距增大而大为减小.表面张力对液滴变形有阻止作用.液滴粘性会减小液滴的变形和位置迁移.  相似文献

微分求积方法(DQM)已成功地应用于数值求解流体力学中的许多问题.但是已有的工作大多限于正规区域的流动问题,同时缺少用迎风机制来描述流体流动的对流特性.该文对一个不规则区域中的不可压缩层流和热迁移的耦合问题给出了一种具有迎风机制的局部微分求积方法,对通过边界和坐标不平行的收缩管道中的流体,只用少数网格点得到了比较好的数值解.和有限差分方法(FDM)相比较,这一方法具有计算工作量少、存储量小和收敛性好等优点.  相似文献

We study the problem of optimal boundary control of two-dimensional steady-state flow of a viscous inhomogeneous incompressible fluid. The role of control is played by the values of the velocity on a part of the boundary of the domain considered. On the remaining part of the boundary, the vector of flow velocity and the fluid density are given. Abstract In this paper, we consider the bidimensional exterior unsteady Navier-Stokes equations with nonhomogeneous boundary conditions and present an Oseen coupling problem which approximates the Navier-Stokes problem, obtained by coupling the Navier-Stokes equations in the inner region and the Oseen equations in the outer region. Moreover, we prove the existence, uniqueness and the approximate accuracy of the weak solution of the Oseen coupling equations. 为了探讨Couette-Taylor流从层流到湍流过渡的方式以及流动发展到湍流之后混沌吸引子的某些特征等问题,采用低模分析方法研究了Couette-Taylor流的部分动力学行为及仿真问题,讨论了Couette-Taylor流三模态类Lorenz型方程组的动力学行为,包括定态的失稳、极限环的出现、分岔与混沌的演变和全局稳定性分析等。通过线性稳定性分析和数值模拟等方法给出了此三维模型分岔与混沌等动力学行为及其演化历程,并借此解释了Couette-Taylor流试验中观察到的部分涡流的演化过程.基于系统的分岔图、Lyapunov指数谱、功率谱、Poincaré(庞加莱)截面和返回映射等揭示了系统混沌行为的普适特征.  相似文献

The outflow problem for the viscous two-phase flow model in a half line is investigated in the present paper. The existence and uniqueness of the stationary solution is shown for both supersonic state and sonic state at spatial far field, and the nonlinear time stability of the stationary solution is also established in the weighted Sobolev space with either the exponential time decay rate for supersonic flow or the algebraic time decay rate for sonic flow.  相似文献

利用谱方法对轴对称的旋转圆柱间的Couette-Taulor流进行数值模拟.首先给出Navier-Stokes方程流函数形式,利用Couette流把边界条件齐次化.其次给出Stokes算子的特征函数的解析表达式,证明其正交性,并对特征值进行估计.最后利用Stokes算子的特征函数作为逼近子空间的基函数,给出谱Galerkin逼近方程的表达式.证明了Navier-Stokes方程非奇异解的谱Galerkin逼近的存在性、唯一性和收敛性,给出了解谱Galerkin逼近的误差估计,并展示了数值计算结果.  相似文献
