We have compared the halo of 11Be, 15C, and 19C nuclei by analyzing the one-neutron stripping reaction data on the Be target at 60-, 54-, and 57-MeV/A beam energies, respectively, within the framework of the eikonal approximation approach. The determination of effective range through the comparison of the total cross section data and prediction has revealed that the halo of 19C is the well developed, while that of 15C is the least and that of 11Be lies in between these two. The longitudinal momentum distribution data also strengthen these observations. The text was submitted by the authors in English.  相似文献

The fragmentation of deuteron, 6He and 11Be have been studied during interaction with the 208Pb nucleus at various projectile energies. The Coulomb dissociation cross-sections and the momentum distribution of the break-up fragments have been analysed within the framework of the direct fragmentation model. The post-acceleration effect of deuteron during break-up and the halo structures of both the 6He and 11Be have been investigated.   相似文献

In this work, neutron knockout reactions of 15C on a 9Be target at energy 103 and 250 MeV/nucleon are studied. Using the Eikonal approximation of the Glauber model, total neutron removal cross sections, the stripping and diffractive cross sections as well as 14C longitudinal momentum distributions are determined in both 15C ground state and exited states of the wave function. We compared the results of our calculations with the available experimental data obtained recently. The calculated cross sections of 15C and 14C reactions, as well as the momentum distribution are in relatively good agreement with available data.  相似文献

The effect of the Pauli exclusion principle on the relative motion of colliding light neutron-rich nuclei is investigated within a microscopic method for the examples of the 11Be + n and 10Be + 2 n reactions. The effective interaction of nuclei that is due to the change in the kinetic energy of their relative motion under the effect of the antisymmetrization operator is analyzed on the basis of a discrete representation of harmonic-oscillator states allowed by the Pauli exclusion principle. It is concluded that the bound state of the 12Be nucleus owes its origin to the impact of exchange effects on the operator of the kinetic energy of the relative motion of the neutron and the 11Be nucleus. The structure of the 12Be ground state is discussed in the approximation of two coupled cluster configurations. The cross section for the inelastic-scattering reaction 11Be(n, 2 n)10Be is estimated.  相似文献

The production of superheavy nuclei with Z=108-116 via hot fusion reactions of the neutron-rich projectiles with 238U target is systematically studied. The results show that the production cross sections of superheavy nuclei do not decrease monotonously as the atomic number Z increasing. The cross sections of the superheavy nuclei at Z = 112 and 115 are enhanced as compared with the whole Z-trend in synthesis of the superheavy nuclei, which clearly illustrates that the reactions with large negative Q-value and...  相似文献

On the basis of the shell model with an extended basis, the structure of 9Li-9Be to 11Li-11Be nuclei is examined with allowance for the competition of jj coupling and Majorana exchange forces via considering the sequential addition of neutrons, and the respective wave functions are determined. A formalism for calculating the spectroscopic factor for a dineutron and for individual neutrons in nuclei whose wave functions incorporate the mixing of shell configurations is developed. The reactions 9Li(t, p)11Li and 9Be(t, p)11Be treated with allowance for the mechanisms of dineutron stripping and a sequential transfer of two neutrons are considered as an indicator of the proposed structure of lithium and berylliumisotopes. The parameters of the optical potentials, the wave functions for the bound states of transferred particles, and the interaction potentials corresponding to them are determined from a comparison of the theoretical angular distribution of protons from the reaction 9Be(t, p)11Be with its experimental counterpart. It is shown that a dineutron periphery of size about 6.4 fm is present in the 11Li nucleus and that a single-neutron periphery of size about 8 fm is present in the 11Be nucleus.  相似文献

The results from an experimental search for the production of heavy lithium isotopes 11,12Li in stopped π-meson absorption reactions on a 14C radioactive target are presented. A pronounced peak is observed in the missing mass spectrum of the 14C(π, pp)X reaction, which is associated with the formation of a nucleon-unstable 12Li state with the following resonance parameters: E R = 4.0 ± 0.2 MeV and Γ = 1.1 ± 0.2 MeV. Resonance parameters of three low-lying 11Li excited states were determined in the 14C(π, pd)X, reaction.  相似文献

A search for the 10Li formation was performed in missing mass spectra measured in stopped pion absorption reactions 14C(π , pt)X and 14C(π , dd)X. Three excited states of 10Li were found. The broad state with a resonance energy of E R = 6.13 ± 0.11 MeV has the highest excitation energy in comparison with levels observed earlier.  相似文献

For the determination of the bound-electron g factor in hydrogen-like heavy ions the mass of the ion is needed at a relative uncertainty of at least 1 ppb. With the SMILETRAP Penning trap mass spectrometer at the Manne Siegbahn Laboratory in Stockholm several mass measurements of ions with even-even nuclei at this level of precision have been performed so far, exploiting the fact that the mass precision increases linearly with the ion charge. Measurements of masses of the hydrogen-like ions of the two Mg-isotopes 24Mg and 26Mg are reported. The masses of the hydrogen-like ions are 23.979011054(14) u and 25.976562354(34) u, corresponding to the atomic masses 23.985041690(14) u and 25.982592986(34) u, respectively. The possibility to use these two isotopes for the first observation of an isotope effect in the bound-electron g factor in hydrogen-like heavy ions is discussed.  相似文献

A theory of the diffractive scattering of loosely bound three-cluster nuclei by nuclei was developed with allowance for Coulomb interaction. The differential cross sections for the scattering of projectile exotic nuclei 7Be and 8B by 12C nuclei at an energy of 40 MeV per nucleon were calculated within the proposed formalism. The results describe satisfactorily relevant experimental data.  相似文献

The problem of the use of such cosmogenic nuclides as 14C and 10Be in natural archives for reconstruction of both the solar activity and the cosmic-ray intensity is discussed. The climate-dependent processes of the formation, transport, and deposition of these nuclides to Earth’s archives must be taken into account for adequate processing of information derived from such archives.  相似文献

The ground state wave function of11Li obtained in a three-body model proposed earlier (S Kumar and V S Bhasin,Phys. Rev. C65, 034007 (2002)) has been employed to study the probability distributions, momentum distributions and n−n correlation. Complex scaling method has been used to find the energy positions and widths of the three resonant states of11Li above the breakup threshold. The formalism is extended further to study the β-decay of11Li to two channels. One is the β-transition of11Li into a high lying excited state of11Be at 18.3 MeV, i.e.,11Be* and the second is the decay to deuteron +9Li channel. The11Be* state has been considered as a halo analog state identified as a bound three-body (9Li + n + p) system. The n-9Li interaction incorporates both the virtual state and the p-wave resonance observed experimentally. For p-9Li interaction, a Coulomb corrected separable interaction is constructed using charge indepedendence for strong interaction part. The n-p interaction is operative only in3S1 state corresponding to the isotopic spin Th =0. As a result the11Be* state has the same isotopic spin as that of9Li core, i.e.,T = 3/2. Using these realistic parameters as input and without invoking any other free parameter, the model has been used to predict the strength of the Gamow-Teller β-decay of11Li to11Be*, i.e.,Bgt = 1.5 and the value of the branching ratio to9Li + deuteron channel to be 1.3 × 10-4. These results are found to be in rather good agreement with the recent experimental findings.  相似文献

The results obtained by estimating the contribution of 8Be and 9B nuclei to the coherent dissociation of 10C, 10B, and 12C relativistic nuclei in nuclear track emulsions (“white” stars) are presented. The selection of white stars accompanied by 9B leads to a distinct peak appearing in the distribution of the excitation energy of 2α2p ensembles and having a maximum at 4.1 ± 0.3 MeV. A 8Be nucleus manifests itself in the coherent-dissociation reaction 10B → 2He + H with a probability of (25 ± 5)%, (14 ± 3)% of it being due to 9B decays. The ratio of the branching fractions of the 9B + n and 9Be + p mirror channels is estimated at 6 ± 1. An analysis of the relativistic dissociation of 12C nuclei in a nuclear track emulsion revealed nine 3α events corresponding to the Hoyle state.  相似文献

A theory is developed for describing the diffractive dissociation of loosely bound two-cluster nuclei in the nuclear and Coulomb fields of nuclei having a diffuse boundary. The energy spectra of charged products of the breakup of 2H, 6He, and 19C nuclei are calculated on the basis of the proposed approach, and the results are found to be rather sensitive to nuclear structure. For some angles of neutron and proton emission from the reaction 12C(d, np)12C, the calculated cross sections are in satisfactory agreement with the results of kinematically complete experiments performed recently to study the breakup of intermediate-energy deuterons.  相似文献

The excitation functions for both the evaporation residue and fission have been calculated for 10B + 209Bi and 11B + 209Bi reactions forming compound systems 219, 220Ra* , using the dynamical cluster-decay model (DCM) with effects of deformations and orientations of the nuclei included in it. In addition to this, the excitation functions for complete fusion (CF) are obtained by summing the fission cross-sections, neutron evaporation and charged particle evaporation residue cross-sections produced through the axn\ensuremath \alpha xn and pxn\ensuremath pxn (x = 2, 3, 4) emission channels for the 219Ra system at various incident centre-of-mass energies. Experimentally the CF cross-sections are suppressed and the observed suppression is attributed to the low binding energy of 10, 11B which breaks up into charged fragments. The reported complete fusion (CF) and incomplete fusion (ICF) excitation functions for the 219Ra system are found to be nicely fitted by the calculations performed in the framework of DCM, without invoking a significant contribution from quasi-fission. Although DCM has been applied for a number of compound nucleus decay studies in the recent past, the same is being used here in reference to ICF and subsequent decay processes along with the CF process. Interestingly the main contribution to complete fusion cross-section comes from the fission cross-section at higher incident energies, which in DCM is found to consist of an asymmetric fission window, shown to arise due to the deformation and orientation effects of formation and decay fragments.  相似文献

The charge topology of coherent-dissociation events is presented for 11С and 12N nuclei of energy 1.2 GeV per nucleon bombarding nuclear track emulsions. This topology is compared with respective data for 7Be, 8,10B, 9,10C, and 14N nuclei.  相似文献

We have studied 12C in full kinematics via the 10B(3He,pααα) reaction at an energy of 2.45 MeV. In our data we have identified states in 12C from the ground state up to about 18 MeV, with spins ranging from 0 to 4. Due to the very good resolution, we are able to determine properties of these 12C resonances, such as their energy, width, and spin. In this contribution preliminary results from the ongoing analysis are presented. Main focus on the precise determination of the breakup spectra for all resonances.  相似文献

It is found that the scattering of the fragile nucleus 6Li from 12C and 16O is unexpectedly transparent. It is shown that the internal-wave contribution is significantly large in the scattering, which suggests that some transparency could persist in the scattering involving the fragile nucleus 6He.  相似文献

We investigate the properties of a global optical potential, which describes the 12C + 12C elastic-scattering data between 70 and 130 MeV, within the nearside/farside and barrier-wave/internal-wave decomposition techniques. Particular emphasis is laid on the discussion of the incomplete absorption features of this system, and especially on the properties of the Airy minima which are observed in the experimental excitation function. The complicated angular and energy evolution of the data is explained in terms of the interference of a small set of scattering subamplitudes with a much simpler behavior.Received: 2 September 2003, Revised: 25 September 2003, Published online: 5 February 2004PACS: 24.10.-i Nuclear reaction models and methods - 24.10.Ht Optical and diffraction models - 25.70.Bc Elastic and quasielastic scattering  相似文献
