With nonlinear Mach-Zehnder interferometer (NLMZI) and a typed beta-barium borate (BBO) crystal, we optically generate single-mode excited entangled coherent states. This scheme can be easily generalized to generate two-mode excited entangled coherent states. We simply analyse different influences of single- and two-mode photon excitations on entangled coherent states.  相似文献

We propose an optical scheme for the generation of the cluster-type entangled coherent states in free travelling optical fields via cross-Kerr nonlinearity. The required resources for the generation are coherent state source, beam splitters, photodetectors, and Kerr media. We also discuss the implementation of the Hadamard gate operation for coherent states and the homodyne detection.  相似文献

We present an effective scheme to teleport an unknown ionic entangled internal state via trapped ions without joint Bell-state measurement. In the constructed quantum channel process, we adopt entanglement swapping to avoid decrease of entanglement during the distribution of particles. Thus our scheme provides new prospects for quantum teleportation over longer distance. The distinct advantages of our scheme are that our scheme is insensitive to heating of vibrational mode and can be generalized to teleport an N-ion electronic entangled GHZ class state. Furthermore, in our scheme the success probability can reach 1.  相似文献

A class of unlockable bound entangled states and their applications are presented. They can be considered as quasi generalized Smolin states [Phys. Rev. A 63 (2001) 032306], which are the states of N + N qubits. No pure entanglement can be distilled from this class of states by local quantum operations and classical communications. However, if certain parties group together, they become distillable. Although they are bound entangled states, they could be used to achieve some non-trivial tasks, such as quantum secret sharing shown in the study.  相似文献

We propose a quantum teleportation scheme for tripartite entangled coherent state (ECS) with continuous variable. Our scheme is feasible and economical in the sense that we need only linear optical devices such as beam splitters, phase shifters and photon detectors and employ three bipartite maximally ECSs as quantum channels. We also generalize the tripartite scheme into multipartite ease and calculate the minimum average fidelity for the schemes in tripartite and multipartite cases.  相似文献

We propose a potentially practical scheme to generate two-atom maximally entangled states by the large-detuning interaction between two three-level ∧-type atoms and coherent optical fields. Conditioned on the results of detecting cavity field, four pairs of atomic maximally entangled states with unity fidelity and high successful probability can be prepared. We also investigate the influence of the cavity dissipation on the generated entangledstates and discuss the experimental feasibility of our scheme.  相似文献

Security of a quantum secret sharing of quantum state protocol proposed by Guo et al. [Chin. Phys. Lett. 25 (2008) 16] is reexamined. It is shown that an eavesdropper can obtain some of the transmitted secret information by monitoring the classical channel or the entire secret by intercepting the quantum states, and moreover, the eavesdropper can even maliciously replace the secret message with an arbitrary message without being detected. Finally, the deep reasons why an eavesdropper can attack this protocol are discussed and the modified protocol is presented to amend the security loopholes.  相似文献

We show that entanglement concentration of unknown atomic entangled states is achieved via the implementation of entanglement swapping based on Raman interaction in cavity QED. A maximally entangled state is obtained from a pair of partially entangled states probabilistically. Due to Raman interaction of two atoms with a cavity mode and an external driving field, the influence of atomic spontaneous emission has been eliminated. Because of the virtual excitation of the cavity mode, the decoherence of cavity decay and thermal field is neglected.  相似文献

We use non-maximally entangled states (NMESs) to simulate an entangling unitary operator (EUO) with a certain probability. Given entanglement resources, the probability of the success we achieve is a decreasing function of the parameters of the EUO. Given an EUO, for certain entanglement resources the result is optimal, i.e., the probability obtains a maximal vaiue, and for optimal result higher parameters of the EUO match more amount of entanglement resources. The probability of the success we achieve is higher than the known results under some condition.  相似文献

We study the entanglement dynamics of two atoms with initial tripartite entangled W-like state in the Tavis-Cummings model. We find that the entanglement evolvement is sensitive not only to the entanglement degree of the initial state but also to the concrete form of the initial state. A scheme for probabilistic controlled teleportation of a triplet W state using combined non-maximally entangled channel of two Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen (EPR) states and one Creenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (CHZ) state is proposed. In this scheme, an (m + 2)-qubit CHZ state serves not only as the control parameter but also as the quantum channel. The m control qubits are shared by m supervisors. With the aid of local operations and individual measurements, including Bell-state measurement, Von Neumann measurement, and mutual classical communication etc., Bob can faithfully reconstruct the original state by performing relevant unitary transformations. The total probability of successful teleportation is only dependent on channel coefficients of EPR states and GHZ, independent of the number of supervisor m. This protocol can also be extended to probabilistic controlled teleportation of an arbitrary N-qubit state using combined non-maximally entangled channel of N- 1 EPR states and one (m + 2)-qubit GHZ.  相似文献

We clarify the essence of the method proposed by You (Phys. Rev. Lett. 90 (2004) 030402) to create the maximally entangled atomic N-GHZ state in the Mott insulator state. Based on the time-independent perturbation theory,we find that the validity of the method can be summarized as that the Hamiltonian governing the evolution is approximately equivalent to the type αJx^2 bJx, which is the well known form used to create the maximally entangled state.  相似文献

The ground state entanglement in an isotropic three-qubit transverse XY chain with energy current is analysed. A quantum phase transition from a no-energy-current phase to energy-current phase is found when the magnetic field changes. We propose a scheme for generating a two-atom entangled state and an N-atom W state using adiabatic evolution of dark eigenstates in cavity QED. The time required to complete the process does not need precise control. Since the cavity modes are never excited during the operations by engineering adiabatic evolution and controlling the atom–cavity couplings, the decoherence of the cavity decay can be suppressed.  相似文献

For bipartite non-Gaussian states which are prepared by applying the phase damping to Gaussian states, we use Fock subspace inseparable criterion and the Shchukin-Vogel inseparable criterion to analyze their inseparability. The lowest order of the two criteria is obtained. Fock subspace criterion is more efficient in detecting the entanglement of damped Gaussian state by numerical results. A general scheme for controlled teleportation of an arbitrary multi-qudit state with d-dimensional Greenberger- Horne--Zeilinger (GHZ) states is proposed. For an arbitrary m-qudit state, the sender Alice performs m generalized Bell-state projective measurements on her 2m qudits and the controllers need only take some single-particle measurements. The receiver Charlie can reconstruct the unknown m-qudit state by performing some single-qudit unitary operations on her particles if she cooperates with all the controllers. As the quantum channel is a sequence of maximally entangled GHZ states, the intrinsic efticiency for qudits in this scheme approaches 100% in principle.  相似文献

We derive an analytical lower bound on the concurrence for bipartite quantum systems with an improved computable cross norm or realignment criterion and an improved positive partial transpose criterion respectively. We report a method to realize the arbitrary inverse unitary transformation imposed by a single-mode fibre on photon's polarization by the succession of two quarter-wave plates and a half-wave plate. The process of realization is analysed on a Poincar6 sphere due to the fact that unitary transformation does not change the angle formed by polarization state vector. The method is meaningful in quantum communication experiment such as quantum teleportation, in which an unknown arbitrary quantum state should be kept to be unchanged in the case of using a single-mode fibre for time delay.[第一段]  相似文献
