This paper considers classical strings propagating in γ-deformed AdS3 γ S^3 backgrounds generated by certain shift T-dualities accompanied (TsT) transformations on S^3 and AdS3, respectively. It finds that the U(1) currents of strings with the twisted boundary conditions are equal to those in γ-deformed backgrounds generated by TsT transformations on both S3 and ADS3. Applying the TsT transformations, it derives the local Lax connections and the monodromy matrices in γ-deformed backgrounds with the spectral parameter which ensure the classical integrability of the string theories.  相似文献

We investigate the single-electron loss processes of light charged ions (Li^1+,2+, C^2+,3+,5+, and O^2+,3+) in collisions with helium. To better understand the experimental results, we propose a theoretical model to calculate the cross section of projectile electron loss. In this model, an ionization radius of the incident ion was defined under the classical over-barrier model, and we developed "strings" to explain the processes of projectile electron loss, which is similar with the molecular over-barrier model. Theoretical calculations are in good agreement with the experimental results for the cross section of single-electron loss and the ratio of double-to-single ionization of helium associated with one-electron loss.  相似文献

We perform a potential analysis for the holographic Schwinger effect in a deformed AdS5 model with conformal invariance broken by a background dilaton.We evaluated the static potential by analyzing the classical action of a string attached to a rectangular Wilson loop on a probe D3 brane located at an intermediate position in the bulk AdS space.We observed that the inclusion of the chemical potential tends to enhance the production rate,which is opposite to the effect of the confining scale.In addition,we calculated the critical electric field based on the Dirac-Born-Infeld(DBI)action.  相似文献

According to Nielsen's theorem [Phys. Rev. Lett. 83 (1999) 436] and as a proof of principle, we demonstrate the deterministic transformation from a maximum entangled state to an arbitrary nonmaximum entangled pure state with local operation and classical communication in an optical system. The output states are verified with a quantum tomography process. We further test the violation of Bell-like inequality to demonstrate the quantum nonlocality of the state we generated. Our results may be useful in quantum information processing.  相似文献

One of main difficulties in the experiments of inner-shell ionization of atoms by positron impact near threshold energy region is the relatively high low-energy background, which is caused by the deposited part of energy in semi-conductor X-ray detectors of 0.511 MeV γ rays that are produced by positron annihilations in targets and target chamber. In this paper, by using the Monte Carlo method, we simulated the backgrounds for the X-ray detectors with the sensitive layer thickness of 0.3 mm and 3 mm in the case of 0.511 MeV γ rays impacting vertically on a Ti plate of 0.2 mm in thickness, and compared the simulation results with the experimental observations of the other research group and our own. Moreover, we also simulated the backgrounds for a simplified experimental setup in the case of 20 keV positrons impacting vertically on a thick Ti target and observed that the backgrounds for the X-ray detectors with the sensitive layer thickness of 0.3 mm and 3 mm, are very similar.  相似文献

Light-front holography leads to a rigorous connection between hadronic amplitudes in a higher dimensional anti-de Sitter(AdS) space and frame-independent light-front wavefunctions of hadrons in(3 + 1)-dimensional physical space-time,thus providing a compelling physical interpretation of the AdS/CFT correspondence principle and AdS/QCD,a useful framework which describes the correspondence between theories in a modified AdS 5 background and confining field theories in physical space-time.To a first semiclassical approximation,where quantum loops and quark masses are not included,this approach leads to a single-variable light-front Schro¨dinger equation which determines the eigenspectrum and the light-front wavefunctions of hadrons for general spin and orbital angular momentum.The coordinate z in AdS space is uniquely identified with a Lorentz-invariant coordinate ζ which measures the separation of the constituents within a hadron at equal light-front time.The internal structure of hadrons is explicitly introduced and the angular momentum of the constituents plays a key role.We give an overview of the light-front holographic approach to strongly coupled QCD.In particular,we study the photon-to-meson transition form factors(TFFs) FMγ(Q 2) for γ→ M using light-front holographic methods.The results for the TFFs for the η and η ' mesons are also presented.Some novel features of QCD are discussed,including the consequences of confinement for quark and gluon condensates.A method for computing the hadronization of quark and gluon jets at the amplitude level is outlined.  相似文献

We study the maximally supersymmetric AdS backgrounds of matter-coupled N=3 gauged supergravity in four dimensions. We find that to admit supersymmetric AdS vacua, the gauge group can only be of the form G_0×H?SO(3,n) with G_0 =SO(3),SO(3,1) or SL(3,R) and H a compact group of dimension n+3-dim(G_0). We also show that these AdS vacua have no moduli, namely they correspond to critical points in field space.  相似文献

As a sister work of[Phys. Rev. D 79 (2009) 094004], we incorporate the color-screening effect due to light quark pair creation into the heavy quark-antiquark potential, and investigate the effects of screened potential on the spectrum of bottomonimn. We calculate the masses, electromagnetic decays, and E1 transitions of bottomonium states. We find that the fine splittings between χbJ (J = 0, 1, 2) states are in good agreement with experimental data, and the E1 transition rates of γ(2S) → γχbJ(1P) and γ(3S) →γχbJ(2P) (J = 0, 1, 2) all agree with data within experimental errors. In particular, the mass of γ(6S) is lowered down to match that of the γ(11020), which is smaller than the predictions of the linear potential models by more than 100 MeV. Comparison between charmonium and bottomonium in some related problems is also discussed.  相似文献

Burgers equation is the simplest one in soliton theory, which has been widely applied in almost all the physical branches. In this paper, we discuss the Painleve property of the (3+1)-dimensional Burgers equation, and then Becklund transformation is derived according to the truncated expansion of the obtained Painleve analysis. Using the Backlund transformation, we find the rouge wave solutions to the equation via the multilinear variable separation approach. And we aiso give an exact solution obtained by general variable separation approach, which is proved to possess abundant structures.  相似文献

With the aid of computation, we consider the variable-coefficient coupled nonlinear Schrodinger equations with the effects of group-velocity dispersion, self-phase modulation and cross-phase modulation, which have potential applications in the long-distance communication of two-pulse propagation in inhomogeneous optical fibers. Based on the obtained nonisospectral linear eigenvalue problems (i.e. Lax pair), we construct the Darboux transformation for such a model to derive the optical soliton solutions. In addition, through the one- and two-soliton-like solutions, we graphically discuss the features of picosecond solitons in inhomogeneous optical fibers.  相似文献

In this first paper of a series,we study the difference discrete variational principle in the framework of multi-parameter differential approach by regarding the forward difference as an entire geometric object in view of noncommutative differential geometry.Regarding the difference as an entire geometric object,the difference discrete version of Legendre transformation can be introduced.By virtue of this variational principle,we can discretely deal with the variation problems in both the Lagrangian and Hamiltonican formalisms to get difference discrete Euler-Lagrange equations and canonical ones for the difference discrete versions of the classical mechanics and classical field theory.  相似文献

We propose the methods of generating multipartite entanglement by considering the interaction of a system of N two-level atoms in M cavities of high quality factor with a strong classical driving field. It is shown that, with the cavity detuning, the applied driving field detuning and vacuum Rabi coupling, we can produce an entangled coherent state in two single-mode cavities and generate the entangled coherent cluster states in two bimodal vacuum cavities. Tuning these parameters also allows us to acquire the anti-Jaynes-Cummings (AJC) interaction, with which we can generate the maximally two-photon entangled states, and the two-atom and the two-photon entangled cluster states.  相似文献

We study the property of matter in equilibrium with a static, spherically symmetric black hole in D- dimensional spacetime. It requires that this kind of matter has an equation of state ω≡pr/ρ = -n/(n + 2k), k, n ∈ N (where n 〉 1 corresponds to a mixture of vacuum matter and "hair" matter), which seems to be independent of D. However, when we associate this result with specific models, we find that these hairy black holes can live only in some special dimensional spacetime: (i) D = 2 + 2k/n while the black hole is surrounded by cosmic strings, which requires D is even or D ∈ N, depending on the value of n, this is consistent with some important results in superstring theory, it might reveal the relation between cosmic string and superstring in another aspect; (ii) the black hole can be surrounded by linear dilaton field only in 4-dimensional spacetime. In both cases, D = 4 is special. We also present some examples of such hairy black holes in higher dimensions, including a toy model with negative energy density.  相似文献

We propose a scheme of preparing four-atom cluster states in thermal cavity. Four two-level atoms, three thermal cavities and classical field are used in the scheme. Compared with previous schemes, the scheme can be generalized to n-atom cluster states and the successful probability can be 100%, which the system of the photon can never reach. In addition, the system is insensitive to cavity decay and the thermal field. Using the four-atom cluster state, we also propose a simpler scheme for remote controlled not gate (CNOT), in which we detect the separate states instead of the joint-Bell states measurement.  相似文献

After a transformation, the inverse scattering transform for the derivative nonlinear Schr6dinger (DNLS) equation is developed in terms of squared spectral parameter. Following this approach, we obtain the orthogonality and completeness relations of free Jost solutions, which is impossibly constructed with usual spectral parameter in the previous works. An Ni-AI-Co system embedded-atom-method potential is constructed for the γ(Ni)/γ'(Ni3A1) superalloy based on experiments and first-principles calculations. The stacking fault energies (SFEs) of the Ni(Co, A1) random solid solutions are calculated as a function of the concentrations of Co and A1. The calculated SFEs decrease with increasing concentrations of Co and A1, which is consistent with the experimental results. The embedding energy term in the present potential has an important influence on the SFEs of the random solid solutions. The cross-slip processes of a screw dislocation in homogenous Ni(Co) solid solutions are simulated using the present potential and the nudged elastic band method. The cross-slip activation energies increase with increasing Co concentration, which implies that the creep resistance of γ(Ni) may be improved by the addition of Co.  相似文献
