The differential coincident pion electroproduction cross section in the 3He(e,é π+)3H reaction has been measured with high resolution with the three-spectrometer set-up at the Mainz Microtron (MAMI) electron accelerator. Measurements were performed at the four incident energies E0 = 855, 675, 600, and 555 MeV at fixed four-momentum transfer Q2 = 0.045 GeV2, with the pions detected in parallel kinematics. This enables a separation of the measured cross section into the transverse and longitudinal structure functions by means of the Rosenbluth method. The experimental data are compared to model calculations, in which the elementary pion production amplitude includes the standard Born-amplitudes and also delta and higher resonance terms. Three-body Fadeev wave functions are used and the final state interaction of the outgoing pion is taken into account. The calculation describes the data only after medium modifications of the delta and of the pion are included.  相似文献

Conclusion The joint efforts of the laboratories with intermediate energies accelerators at ANL, KEK, LANL, LNPI, Saclay, SIN and TRIUMF produced a rather definite picture of the +pp reaction in the isobar region. However the problem of anomalies for the square-root branch point due to the production of isobar in the intermediate state have not been resolved so far. The poles obtained in different phenomenological analyses could be just the effective parametrization of these cuts (see e.g. [13]). Anyway, some singularities are definitely necessary to describe the data.The experimental data in regions s < 2·05 GeV and s < 2·25 GeV are clearly insufficient. Further accumulation of the data in these regions is necessary. Polarized deuteron data are badly needed in the whole kinematical range [13]. Besides as it was mentioned before it is necessary to measure accurately cross sections of other inelastic reactions which are important for the investigation (observation?) of dibaryonsNN N, NN andd N, NN [21]. It would be of interest also to measure cross sections of non quasi two-particle channels likeNN N, 2N andd N, 2N [22]. The spin and isospin structure of the amplitudes and observables for K+Λ production in nucleon-nucleon collisions in the near-threshold region is analysed. Five experiments are required in order to isolate the amplitudes, up to an overall phase and two discrete ambiguities, in a model-independent way. It is shown that, with reasonable values for the relative strengths of the π and ρ terms in a meson-exchange model, one expects production on the neutron to be significantly stronger than that on the proton. Negative values of the spin-transfer coefficient DNN are also predicted due to π-ρ interference.  相似文献

The2H(d, )4He differential cross section was measured at deuteron laboratory energies of 20, 24, and 28 MeV between cm=45° and cm=135°. AtE d =28 MeV a complete angular distribution was determined and fitted with Legendre polynomials. The ratioR=d/d (cm=90°)/d/d (cm=135°) was measured for each deuteron energy.  相似文献

P-Odd effects with the elastic photoinformation of neutral pions in He4 nuclei are due to the interference of the P-odd amplitude of weak interaction with the P-even amplitude of strong interaction, and originate only for polarized photons. It is shown that close to the reaction threshold P-odd effects should be small. The interference amplitude of the mechanisms corresponding to exchange with a Regge or-pole and a neutral Z-boson at high energies is studied. P-Odd effects in this case increase with increase of energy of the interacting particles and with the square of the imparted momentum. The dd3 Hen reaction is considered at the energies between 200 and 520?MeV. The Alt–Grassberger–Sandhas equations are iterated up to the lowest order terms over the nucleon–nucleon t-matrix. The parameterized 3 He wave function including five components is used. The angular dependence of the differential cross section and energy dependence of tensor analyzing power T 20 at the zero scattering angle are presented in comparison with the experimental data.  相似文献

A collective adiabatic approach is used to explore the total and differential cross sections for the reactions d + dp + 3H and d + dn + 3He at incident-deuteron energies of up to 6 MeV. All substantially contributing partial waves of order not higher than that of G waves are taken into account. The experimental value of the difference of the cross sections for the above mirror reactions is reproduced theoretically under the assumption that nuclear forces obey the condition of isotopic invariance. The positions and amplitudes of the maxima in the calculated total cross sections virtually coincide with those of the corresponding experimental values. It is shown that, around the maxima of the cross sections under study, dominant contributions to them come from the P wave. The sensitivity of observables to the parameters of nucleon-nucleon interaction is analyzed.  相似文献

Experimental values of the differential cross section for the reactionn+dπ 0+t at large angles (θ?50°) in the neutron energy range 460–560 MeV and the known values of the coupling constants \(G_{nn\pi ^O }^2 \) andG tdn 2 are used to predictdσ/dΩ at smaller angles. On the basis of T invariance, it is established that the dependence of the effective cross section for a binary reaction of the a+bc+d type on the polarization vectors of primary particles a and b determines completely the polarization vectors and spin correlations for the same particles in the inverse reaction c+da+b induced by collisions between unpolarized primary particles c and d. By using the formalism of helicity amplitudes, polarization effects are studied in the process p+3He → π++4He and in the inverse process π++4He → p+3He. It is shown that, in the reaction π++4He → p+3He, the spins of the final-state particles (proton and 3He nucleus) are strongly correlated. An expression for the correlation tensor is obtained for arbitrary values of the (p, 3He) emission angle.  相似文献

Secondary effects in deuteron breakup reactions are reexamined for the process1 H(d, p) pn with a proton detected at 0° and for the process1 H (d, pp)n with two fast forward moving protons fixed at the beam line. Sensitivity of the cross section and the tensor asymmetryT 20 to the double-scattering and final-state-interaction corrections is demonstrated. The nonrelativistic method used here incorporates both the energy-conserving and the principal-value part of the free nucleon propagator. The calculations are compared with the inclusive experimental data1 H(d, p)X at the 1.25 and 2.1 GeV deuteron kinetic energy.The author would like to express his thanks to Prof. B. Gamma-radiation from the reactions of 28 MeV and 26 MeV3He-ions on the209Bi target has been studied by means of Ge(Li) detectors. Individual observed prompt -ray transitions have been assigned to the corresponding reactions. The results of previous studies of the209At nucleus have been verified and completed. Two new levels at energies of 640 keV and 1270·5 keV have been introduced. Additionally, 15 new transitions have been observed which could belong to209At. The209At level structure is discussed in terms of nuclear models.  相似文献

The effective Hamiltonian ofMorita andFujii is used to calculate the muon capture rate\(\mathfrak{W}_\mu \) in He3. The calculation is done including and omitting the “weak magnetic interaction” and for positive and negative sign of pseudoscalar coupling. The results are related to the known value offt for the beta decay of the triton. The r.m.s. radius of the charge distribution in He3 is taken to be 1·55 fm rsp. 1·85fm. (The first value follows from the results of the variational calculation ofKikuta, Morita, andYamada, the last value is based on a variational calculation for a potential with a long tailed attractive part.) The capture rates differ by 10% for the two r.m.s. radii. Our result forv r.m.s.= 1·55 fm deviates slightly from the corresponding result ofWerntz.  相似文献

Experiments on the reaction:3He+3He→4He+2He using a single four detector telescope have shown evidence for the production of deuteron pulses, consistent with the2He→2H+e++v fusion reaction in the final state. New measurements on the same reaction using improved techniques viz.A) a windowless3He gas target andB) α- d correlation detection with 5 ns resolving time and antipileup circuitry have been performed. Calibrations were obtained from the7Li+3He→2H+4He+4He reaction spectra. The correlation angles were 30° and 97° for the alphas and deuterons respectively. Deuteron pulses have been observed, correlated with alpha particles. A cross section of (1.7 ±0.5)nbsr?1MeV?1 was obtained consistent with previous measurements using a single telescope.  相似文献

The mechanism of the reaction 3He + p → p + p + d is studied by making use of the ITEP 80 cm liquid-hydrogen bubble chamber exposed to a beam of 5 GeV/c 3He nuclei. The reaction cross section is equal to 20.6 ± 0.3 mb. The phase-space regions associated with quasifree scattering (QFS) and final-state interactions (FSI) are selected. Angular, mass and momentum distributions of the reaction products are obtained in the entire kinematically allowed range. The experimental data in the QFS region are compared with theoretical calculations based on the simplest pole-diagram approximation. The 3He and deuteron wave functions (WF) correspond to the realistic RSC potential. The D-wave components of these WF are taken into account. The absolute value of the cross section and shape of the distributions are described as a whole reasonably well within the frame of the model considered in the kinematical region where FSI may be neglected. But at large spectator momenta there is an essential disagreement. The possible reasons for this are discussed.  相似文献
