Photochemical reaction of variously substituted p-toluenesulfonanilides was studied. The reaction gives rearranged products, o- and p-amino-substituted diaryl sulfones with the combined yields of 38-72%: the p-isomer is more favored over the o-isomer with the selectivity ratio of 1.1-4.3 depending on the substituents. N-Alkylation of the sulfonanilides increases the yields of the rearranged products, and e-withdrawing substituents on the N-phenyl ring does not lower the yields drastically. This study provides simple methodology for the synthesis of o- and p-aminoaryl sulfones which are otherwise not easily accessible.  相似文献

The oxidation of N-phenyltetrahydroisoquinolines occurs rapidly with DDQ. Under ambient conditions and in the presence of nitromethane, the corresponding β-nitroamine derivatives are isolated in good to excellent yields. Variation in the electronic nature of the isoquinoline and the N-phenyl substituent showed that a broad range of substituents are tolerated, with electronic communication between the isoquinoline aromatic ring and the C1 carbon being stronger than with the N-aryl ring. Reduction of the β-nitroamines to the corresponding novel chiral vicinal diamines are straightforward. Examination of the reaction by 1H NMR spectroscopy suggested that the reaction proceeds via an iminium ion, which then reacts with nitromethane upon work-up. This information was used to shorten the required reaction time.  相似文献

Several derivatives of N-phenylacetyl-N-benzyl-α,α-dimethylglycine cyclohexylamide and their α,α-dibenzylglycine analogues were synthesised by a Ugi-Passerini reaction. In addition, a few analogues of the former but having an N-phenyl instead of a benzyl group at the nitrogen atom were synthesised. The compounds in each of these three sets differed from each other at position 4 of the N-benzyl (and N-phenyl) group. These adducts were submitted to acidolysis with TFA to obtain the corresponding free acids, the reactions being monitored by HPLC and data collected for kinetic purposes. The kinetic data were submitted to Hammett uni- and biparametric relationships and the results were analysed in terms of structure-reactivity in connection with the sensitivity of the reaction rates to the electronic contributions of the various substituents at position 4 of the aromatic rings. The results allowed comparison with information obtained in previous investigations and rationalise the contribution of the substituent at the nitrogen atom to the lability of the C-terminal amide bond.  相似文献

Oxidation of N-aminophthalimide in the presence of 2-arylideneinden-1,3-diones with electron-withdrawing substituents gives the corresponding 3-aryl-1-phthalimidospiro[aziridine-2,2′-indene]-1′,3′-diones in good yields. Heating these aziridines with standard dipolarophiles (N-phenylmaleimide, dimethyl acetylenedicarboxylate, maleate, and fumarate) leads, in most cases, to spiro[inden-2,2′-pyrrole] derivatives as products of 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition of the intermediate azomethine ylides with up to 70–95% yields in the case of N-phenylmaleimide. As is typical for 2-acylaziridines, the competing rearrangement into 2-aryl-4H-indeno[2,1-d][1,3]oxazol-4-ones prevails for less active dipolarophiles. Increasing the electron-releasing properties of the 3-aryl ring allows the observation of the push–pull effect of electron-donating and electron-withdrawing substituents on the ease of the three-membered ring-opening.  相似文献

Intramolecular competition of variously substituted phenyl rings of benzophenone ketals in lithiation reactions proved to be a useful tool to study both ortho-directing ability and long-range effects of the substituents. The regioselectivities observed in the reaction of benzophenone ketals having one or two chloro substituents in one of the aryl rings with butyllithium complexed to N,N,N′,N″,N″-pentamethyldiethylenetriamine demonstrate the significance of both ortho- and meta-acidifying effect of the chloro substituents. The lithio species thus generated were carboxylated resulting in new polysubstituted benzoic acids.  相似文献

The electronic structures of a series of 4-substituted pyridine N-oxides and 4-nitroquinoline N-oxide are investigated using the simple Pariser-Parr-Pople (PPP), a modified PPP, IEH and MINDO/2 methods. The electronic absorption band maxima and dipole moments are calculated and compared with experimental values. The photoelectron spectra of these compounds are assigned. The nature of the N-oxide group is characterized using the orbital population distributions. The antifungal activity exhibited by some of these compounds is discussed in terms of the nucleophilic frontier electron densities, superdelocalizabilities and electron acceptor properties. The effect of the electron releasing as well as the electron withdrawing substituents on the physico-chemical properties is explained.  相似文献

A series of N-phenyl- and N-benzyl-2-azaspiro[4.4]nonane- and [4.5]decane-1,3-diones containing a fluoro or trifluoromethyl substituents at the aryl ring was synthesized and tested for their anticonvulsant activity in the maximal electroshock (MES) and subcutaneous metrazole (sc.Met) tests. Among them, the most active were N-benzyl derivatives with fluoro and trifluoromethyl substituents especially at position-2 of the aryl moiety. The introduction of the phenyl ring at the imide nitrogen atom resulted in less active compounds. The results obtained showed that incorporation of fluoro or trifluoromethyl substituents increased the anticonvulsant activity in comparison to respective chloro, methoxy or methyl analogues. Crystallographically obtained conformation for one active and two inactive derivatives with trifluoromethyl substituents at position-2 or -3 of phenyl ring were initially used for molecular electrostatic potentials (MEP) calculation. The MEP distribution at carbonyl oxygen atoms was different for active and inactive molecules.  相似文献

Two simple procedures for the selective protection of the ring N of aminopyrazoles as tert-butoxycarbamate (Boc) in high yields are reported; several other protecting groups (Cbz, Bn, SEM) can be introduced using the one-pot procedure (method B). The N-Boc protected aminopyrazoles are acylated at the exocyclic NH2 group and subsequently deprotected to give the corresponding 3-acylaminopyrazoles in high yields. This procedure is applicable for the rapid parallel synthesis of 3-acylaminopyrazoles.  相似文献

In this work we present the results obtained for the N-alkylation of a series of N-arylsulfonyl-α-amino acid methyl esters bearing different substituents at the 4-position of the sulfonamide aromatic ring. In particular, we compare the reactivity of these species with diazomethane and trimethyloxonium tetrafluoroborate in N-methylation processes. Diazomethylation is unsuccessful for N-arylsulfonamide derivatives containing electron-releasing groups on the aromatic ring. In these cases trimethyloxonium tetrafluoroborate is the reagent of choice for the direct and quantitative N-methylation. Further we extend our evaluation to the use of triethyloxonium tetrafluoroborate. This reagent shows to be very efficient in order to prepare N-ethyl derivatives of N-arylsulfonyl-α-amino acid methyl esters. An experimental protocol similar to that used for N-methylation with trimethyloxonium tetrafluoroborate is applied for the N-ethylation.  相似文献

A route to 3,4-fused indoles via two consecutive palladium-catalyzed reactions; an intramolecular Heck reaction followed by a reductive N-heteroannulation is described. Using this route, a number of indoles have been prepared having a variety of ring sizes anchored to the 3- and 4-position of the indole nucleus. Furthermore, a number of functional groups, both carbon and heteroatom substituents can be introduced in (and on) the additional ring without any detrimental effects on the two reactions.  相似文献

A new method for synthesizing phenolic N-benzylazacyclophanes starting from tyramine is presented here. Computational calculations showed that macrocyclization is favored by the formation of hydrogen bond-based templates; these templates are not affected by including benzyl groups in the nitrogen atom of the tyramine moiety. The results showed that N-benzyl groups with electron-donating substituents have more nucleophilic nitrogen atoms, thereby favoring macrocyclization, while electron-withdrawing groups favor polymerization.  相似文献

N-Tosylimidates acted as nucleophiles in highly enantioselective organocatalytic Michael addition reactions to α,β-unsaturated aldehydes in the presence of a catalytic amount of trialkylsilyl-protected diarylprolinol. In particular, α-phenyl-substituted N-tosylimidates showed good reactivity. We also demonstrate that the kinetic acidity of the α-proton of α-phenyl N-tosylimidate as measured by proton/deuterium NMR exchange experiments is correlated with the potential of N-tosylimidates to act as nucleophiles in organocatalytic reactions.  相似文献

Novel artificial anionic receptors N-flurobenzoyl-N′-phenylthioureas were synthesized by simple steps in good yields. The binding properties for anions of these N-flurobenzoyl-N′-phenylthioureas and 2N-benzoyl-N′-phenyl thiourea were examined by UV-vis and 1H NMR spectroscopy. By fluorination of the benzoyl chromophore, the receptors had higher binding affinity for tested anions than the receptor 2. Especially, we studied the anion binding efficiency of the receptors 1N-(3-flurobenzoyl)-N′-phenylthiourea and 2 in dimethyl and dimethyl sulfoxide-water binary solutions in detail respectively. In pure dimethyl sulfoxide, the receptors 1 and 2 had higher binding affinity for F over AcO. However, as the ratio of water to dimethyl sulfoxide increases, we found the binding properties for tested anions of 1 and 2 changed in dimethyl sulfoxide-water binary solutions. The receptor 1 showed high binding affinity and selective ability for AcO in dimethyl sulfoxide containing water with varied ratios.  相似文献

Ammonium N-ethyl-N-phenyl dithiocarbamate (L1) and N-butyl-N-phenyl dithiocarbamate (L2), and their group 12 metal complexes formulated as Zn2L14, CdL12, HgL12, Zn2L24, CdL22, HgL22 have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, IR, 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy. The crystal structures of the zinc complexes (Zn2L14 and Zn2L24) are also reported. Single crystal analyses of the two complexes revealed the presence of distorted trigonal bipyramidal and tetrahedral coordination geometry about the metal ions. The dithiocarbamate acts as bidentate chelating and bidentate bridging ligands between the metal ions giving centrosymmetric dimeric molecules. The apparent substitution of the ethyl substituents in L1 by the butyl groups in L2 results in profound change in structure.  相似文献
