It was found that thermal expansion Δl/l was anomalous in a wide temperature interval for single-and polycrystals of the La2?xSrxCuO4 system with various doping levels: the samples with small Sr content contracted with heating. This effect was observed up to x=0.2. Anisotropy of thermal expansion was revealed, for different crystal directions. The Δl/l anomaly was sensitive, to the oxygen content. These results are consistent with the local bosons model. 相似文献

transition for a Bi2Sr2-x

CuO6+δ (x = 0.3) thin film. The results are consistent with a superconductor (metal) embedded in a strong insulator, the latter showing
two-dimensional variable range hopping properties. The weak insulator behavior - if any - is attributed to the metallic inclusions

We present high resolution X-ray measurements
characterising the charge stripe order state in the
La2-xSrxNiO4 system with x = 0.20, 0.225 and 0.25. We
find that in the x = 0.20, 0.225 and 0.25 systems the charge
stripe order exists in a charge stripe glass characterised by
weak, poorly correlated incommensurate charge stripes in contrast
to the strong well correlated charge stripes in the commensurate
x = 1/3 system. No stabilisation of the charge order was
observed at the next possible commensurate value of ε= 0.25. A comparison with high energy X-ray measurements suggested
that the charge order may exist in a charge stripe glass in the
bulk in the doping region x = 0.20 - 0.33. Finally at low
temperature there was an initial increase in the intensity and
correlation not observed with neutron measurements and it appears
to be an effect that X-rays are sensitive to but neutrons are not. 相似文献

The difference between the phase diagrams of La2?x(Ba,Sr)xCuO4 and Nd2?xCexCuO4 is discussed. It is proposed that the discrepancy of x-values corresponding to the transition from antiferromagnetic dielectric state to conducting one (respectively, x≈0.06 in La2?x(Ba,Sr)xCuO4 and x≈0.125 in Nd2?xCexCuO4) results from non-homogeneous doping of La2?x(Ba,Sr)xCuO4 over the range 0.06<x<0.125, when localized holes are added to each second CuO2 layer. Therefore the actual phase diagram of the “holedoped” superconductor La2?x(Ba,Sr)xCuO4 coincides with one for the “electron-doped” superconductor Nd2?xCexCuO4. It is shown that all features observed in La2?x(Ba,Sr)xCuO4 around x=0.125 are clarified on this basis. 相似文献

The spectra of the conductivity and dielectric constant of La1.87Sr0.13CuO4 cuprate have been directly measured in the frequency range of 0.3 to 1.2 THz (10–40 cm−1) and the temperature range of 5 to 300 K in the E | c polarization (the electric field vector of radiation is perpendicular to the copper-oxygen planes). Excitation has been observed
in the superconducting phase, and its nature has been attributed to the transverse optical excitation of the condensate of
Cooper pairs, which appears because Josephson junctions between CuO planes are modulated due to in-plane magnetic and charge
stripes. Additional quasiparticle absorption of unknown origin has been detected at frequencies below ≈15 cm−1 at liquid helium temperatures. 相似文献

The magnetic properties of the La2CuO4 are analyzed by means of the paramagnetic solution of the Hubbard model within the composite operator method. The experimental
findings of the inelastic neutron magnetic scattering [R. Coldea et al., Phys. Rev. Lett. 86, 5377 (2001)] for the spin spectrum, the spin-wave intensity and the behavior of the dispersion at the zone boundary are
well described by our results although the difference in phase. The Hubbard model emerges has a minimal model capable to describe
the anomalous magnetic behavior of such a strongly correlated material.

Single-crystal samples of the Bi2 + xSr2 ? x ? yCu1 + yO6 + δ system revealed anomalous (negative) thermal expansion in the temperature range 10–20 K. Magnetic fields of 1–3 T were found to strongly affect the position and width of the anomaly region. A thermal-expansion singularity was detected at temperatures T≈30–50 K, which may be related to the formation of a pseudogap. 相似文献

The special features of the phase diagrams of La2?xSrxCuO4 are considered in terms of the high-temperature superconductivity model according to which the mechanism responsible for the anomalous properties of these compounds is the interaction of electrons with diatomic negative U-centers. A microstructural model that assumes the coexistence of domains with different types of dopant ion ordering is suggested for La2?xSrxCuO4. According to this model, the main characteristics of the experimental phase diagrams of La2?xSrxCuO4 only reflect square lattice geometric relations and competition between different dopant ordering types. Close agreement between the calculated and experimental “superconducting” and “magnetic” phase diagrams is an important argument in favor of the suggested high-temperature superconductivity model. 相似文献

antiferromagnetic and ferromagnetic contributions, which are determined by the two-hole triplet terms. The ferromagnetic and
antiferromagnetic contributions of the excited terms compensate each other to a large extent. It is shown that the antiferromagnetic

High-quality, c-axis-oriented La2CuO4 thin films have been fabricated by the pulsed laser ablation technique. Superconductivity has been successfully induced in the films after chemical oxidation using sodium hypochlorite solution as oxidizing agent. The structural properties, surface morphology, and electrical resistivity before and after oxidation are compared. In addition, the oxidation mechanism is discussed. The structure of domain walls and new-phase nucleation are investigated in a four-sublattice antiferromagnet (AFM) of the La2CuO4 type placed in a magnetic field which initiates an AFM-weak-ferromagnet (WFM) magnetic structural phase transition. The critical fields for nucleus growth are found in the case of two types of domain walls present. The magnetization curve is calculated and a two-step mechanism is proposed for the AFM-WFM phase transition observed in La2CuO4. 相似文献

Fast oxide-ion conductors La2Mo2-xWxO9 (x = 0–1) have been prepared using mechanochemical activation (MA) of starting oxides in a high-power planetary ball mill. Studies of La2Mo2-xWxO9 genesis and structural properties using thermal analysis, XRD, SEM, IR, and Raman spectroscopy have revealed that MA results in the formation of an amorphous precursor, while the cubic β-phase is formed after calcination at 700–900 °C. Due to a high dispersion of powders, high-density pellets of W-LAMOX ceramics have been obtained already after sintering at 950 °C. Their electrical conductivity measured by the impedance spectroscopy depends on the W concentration being sufficiently high (up to 5.6?10?3 S/cm at 630 °C) at temperatures below 650 °C. 相似文献

The ab initio FLAPW-GGA calculations of the band structure of a new layered low-temperature (T C ~ 2.2 K) La3Ni4P4O2 superconductor are presented. The energy bands, distributions of the densities of electron states, charge states of the atomic layers, low-temperature electron specific heat, and molar Pauli paramagnetic susceptibility for La3Ni4P4O2 have been determined. almost linearly moves to higher temperature as H increases. Electron spin resonance confirms that above T

, there exist ferromagnetic clusters. From the magnetic polaron point of view, the shift of T
p
vs. H was understood, and it was estimated that the size of the magnetic polaron is of 9.7 ∼ 15.4 ? which is consistent with the magnetic correlation length revealed by the small-angle neutron-scattering technique. The
transport properties at temperatures higher than T
p
conform to the variable-range hopping mechanism.

Topological superconductivity is the quantum condensate of paired electrons with an odd parity of the pairing function. By using a Corbino-shape like electrode configuration, we measure the c-axis resistivity of the recently discovered superconductor Sr x Bi2Se3 with the magnetic field rotating within the basal planes, and find clear evidence of two-fold superconductivity. The Laue diffraction measurements on these samples show that the maximum gap direction is either parallel or perpendicular to the main crystallographic axis. This observation is consistent with the theoretical prediction and strongly suggests that Sr x Bi2Se3 is a topological superconductor. 相似文献

Magnetic excitations in the antiferromagnetic Bi2CuO4 (T N =42K) are investigated on the basis of anisotropic exchange interaction between spins of Cu2+ ions. We calculate the dispersion curves and evaluate the intensity of the inelastic neutron scattering by spin wave excitations. The frequency and temperature dependence of the complex dielectric constant of Bi4-xLaxTi3O12 (BLT, x=0.9) ferroelectric thin film was studied in the frequency range of 10-1106 Hz and the temperature range of 298673 K. A low frequency dielectric dispersion (LFDD) was found. A model was proposed to account for this observed phenomena. The complex dielectric constant data obtained in the measured frequency and temperature ranges have been found to fit very well to the dielectric dispersion relation: *=+i/0+[B(i)n-1]/0. The knee in the log of the electrical conductivity versus the reciprocal temperature curve occurs at Tc. The activation energies associated with charge conduction are Ea,II=0.73 eV below Tc and Ea,I=0.95 eV above Tc. The occurrence of an anomaly in both the n and parameters near Tc indicates a coupling between charge carries and phonons. PACS 77.55.+f; 77.80.-e; 77.22.Jp 相似文献

Textured LixNi2-xO (LNO) thin films have been fabricated on (001)MgO substrates by pulsed laser deposition technique. The as-deposited LNO
films shows a conductivity of 2.5×10-3 Ω m and possess a transmittance of about 35% in the visible region. Subsequent deposition of Sr0.6Ba0.4Nb2O6 (SBN60) thin film on these LNO-coated MgO substrates resulted in a textured SBN layer with a 〈001〉 orientation perpendicular
to the substrate plane. Phi scans on the (221) plane of the SBN layer indicated that the films have two in-plane orientations
with respect to the substrate. The SBN unit cells were rotated in the plane of the film by ± 8.2° as well as ± 45° with respect
to the LNO/MgO substrate. Besides the highly (00l)-orientation, the SBN films also exhibited a dense microstructure as shown
by scanning electron microscopy. The electro-optic coefficient (r33) of the SBN film was measured to be 186 pm/V. On the basis of our results, we have demonstrated that the LNO film can be
used as a buffer layer as well as a transparent bottom electrode for waveguide applications. The SBN/LNO heterostructure is
also a suitable candidate for integrated electro-optics devices.

We report on a Raman study of the phonon spectrum of La 0.7Sr0.3MnO3 thin films epitaxially grown on LaAlO3. The spectrum, as a function of film thickness d,
does not change over the 1000–100 ? range, whereas a strong hardening of the phonon frequencies of both bending and stretching
modes is apparent in ultra-thin films (d<100 ?) where substrate-induced effects are remarkable. This behaviour, which appears
to be related with the measured d-dependence of the insulator-to-metal transition temperature, is ascribed to
co-operative effects of MnO6 octahedra rotation and charge-localization. Raman spectroscopy proves to be a simple and powerful tool to monitor subtle
structural modifications hardly
detectable with conventional diffraction techniques in ultra-thin films. 相似文献
