Slaving Function and Its Convergence

Recently, Hong FU, H: Haken and A. Wunderlin proved the convergence of the slaving principle in a simplified model: the Haken model (HM)^[1]. In the present study, by virtue of introducing an auxiliary series of positive terms corresponding to the formal slaving series of variable terms and solving the nonlinear differential equation for the zero order faat variable so(t), we succeeded in generalizing the Hong FU's method to several typical models.     

Wave Function of the Universe and Its Meaning

For a FRW-spacetime coupled to an arbitrary real scalar field, we endow the solution space of the associated Wheeler-DeWitt equation with a Hilbert-space structure, construct the observables, and introduce the physical wave functions of the universe that admit a genuine probabilistic interpretation. We also discuss a proposal for the formulation of the dynamics. The approach to quantum cosmology outlined in this article is based on the results obtained within the theory of pseudo-Hermitian operators.

Integrable Highest Weight Modules over Affine Superalgebras and Appell's Function

We classify integrable irreducible highest weight representations of non-twisted affine Lie superalgebras. We give a free field construction in the level 1 case. The analysis of this construction shows, in particular, that in the simplest case of the sℓ (2|1) level 1 affine superalgebra the characters are expressed in terms of the Appell elliptic function. Our results demonstrate that the representation theory of affine Lie superalgebras is quite different from that of affine Lie algebras. Received: 17 April 2000 / Accepted: 7 July 2000     

Two-variable Hermite Polynomial State and Its Wigner Function

In this paper we obtain the Wigner functions of two-variable Hermite polynomial states (THPS) and their marginal distribution using the entangled state |ξ〉 representation. Also we obtain tomogram of THPS by virtue of the Radon transformation between the Wigner operator and the projection operator of another entangled state |η,τ ₁,τ ₂〉.     

Information Measure in Terms of the Hazard Function and Its Estimate

It is well-known that some information measures, including Fisher information and entropy, can be represented in terms of the hazard function. In this paper, we provide the representations of more information measures, including quantal Fisher information and quantal Kullback-leibler information, in terms of the hazard function and reverse hazard function. We provide some estimators of the quantal KL information, which include the Anderson-Darling test statistic, and compare their performances.     

Quantum State Generated by Parity-Squeezing Combinatorial Operator and Its Wigner Function and?Husimi Function

In this paper, a parity-squeezing combinatorial operator S ₁ with its normally ordered form is introduced, it is then applied to generate the even-odd squeezed coherent state, its Wigner function and Husimi function can be conveniently calculated by virtue of the coordinate representation of S ₁.     

Lame Function and Its Application to Some Nonlinear Evolution Equations

In this paper, based on the Lame function and Jacobi elliptic function, the perturbation method is appliedto some nonlinear evolution equations to derive their multi-order solutions.     

Extended Hyperbola Function Method and Its Application to Nonlinear Equations

An extended hyperbola function method is proposed to construct exact solitary wave solutions to nonlinear wave equation based upon a coupled Riccati equation. It is shown that more new solitary wave solutions can be found by this new method, which include kink-shaped soliton solutions, bell-shaped soliton solutions and new solitary wave.The new method can be applied to other nonlinear equations in mathematical physics.
