Nanoparticles of brass are prepared by ablation of a brass target in ethanol using radiation of a copper-vapor laser at various laser fluences. The nanoparticles are characterized by TEM and optical spectroscopy. The multipulse laser irradiation leads to formation both the nanoparticles in liquid and well-ordered micro-structures on a surface of a target. It is revealed that both the morphology and absorption spectra of brass nanoparticles depend on presence of the micro-structures. Nanoparticles with the various phase diagrams are formed from a flat brass surface and from the same surface with micro-structures. The results are compared with a model of phase diagrams, in which size and composition effects are taken into account.  相似文献

Time of flight spectra are calculated within the cascade model of phonon-mediated desorption for helium desorbing from graphite, sapphire and Nichrome. One and three-dimensional theories are compared. Deviations from Knudsen's cosine law are traced to dynamical effects. The spectra are — as a function of time — narrower than a Maxwellian distribution and their maxima are generally shifted to shorter times indicating that the desorbed molecules are hotter than the solid temperature. Relevant experiments are discussed. Experimental geometries are analysed.  相似文献

Steel multi-wire cables are widely employed in civil engineering. They are usually made of a straight core and one layer of helical wires. In order to detect material degradation, nondestructive evaluation methods based on ultrasonics are one of the most promising techniques. However, their use is complicated by the lack of accurate cable models. As a first step, the goal of this paper is to propose a numerical method for the study of elastic guided waves inside a single helical wire. A finite element (FE) technique is used based on the theory of wave propagation inside periodic structures. This method avoids the tedious writing of equilibrium equations in a curvilinear coordinate system yielding translational invariance along the helix centerline. Besides, no specific programming is needed inside a conventional FE code because it can be implemented as a postprocessing step of stiffness, mass and damping matrices. The convergence and accuracy of the proposed method are assessed by comparing FE results with Pochhammer-Chree solutions for the infinite isotropic cylinder. Dispersion curves for a typical helical waveguide are then obtained. In the low-frequency range, results are validated with a helical Timoshenko beam model. Some significant differences with the cylinder are observed.  相似文献

Some tasks for computations are formulated and the possibilities of developed numerical codes are illustrated. A method for rapid calculation of a flux of stimulated fluorescence of a multilayer optically dense medium with inhomogeneous distribution of the fluorophore has been developed. The light field in the medium at the excitation wavelength of fluorescence is represented by a superposition of incident collimated, incident diffuse, and reflected diffuse fluxes. A two-stream approximation is used to describe the light field in the medium at the wavelength of emission of the fluorescence. Fluxes in adjacent elementary layers of the medium and on its surface are connected by simple matrix operators that are obtained using a combination of engineering approaches of radiation-transfer theory and single-scattering approximation. The calculations of fluorescence fluxes of a four-layer biotissue that are excited and recorded at 400–800 nm are compared with their Monte Carlo simulation with a discrepancy of 1%. The effect of the propagation medium on the fluorescence spectra of 5-ALA-induced protoporphyrin IX that are recorded from human skin was studied, and a technique for their correction that is based on measurements and quantitative analysis of the diffuse reflectance spectrum of skin was proposed.  相似文献

We propose a simple model for describing the electroluminescence in a single-layer thin-film organic electroluminescent cell on the assumption that the luminophore molecules are directly excited by electron impact and are the result of recombination. The calculated luminescence and efficiency curves are in qualitative and quantitative agreement with experimental data. To attain a high efficiency, it is necessary to use cathodes with a low work function and a high Fermi energy and relatively small electric fields.  相似文献

The properties of open quantum dots are examined in magneto-transport. The quantum dots are prepared from a two-dimensional electron system (2DES) in AlGaAs/GaAs by lateral gate structures. These quantum dots are open, i.e. they are still connected to the surrounding 2DES regions. The low magnetic field magnetoresistance shows peak structures. These structures can be related to semi-classical ballistic trajectories in the confining potential of a dot. The calculations of different confining potentials (abrupt “hard-wall” and parabolic “soft-wall”) are compared with the experimental results. The experiments are better described by a soft-wall potential.  相似文献

Two systems, which are models of biological processes, are considered. These systems are notable for responding to different external actions nearly alike. This is associated with the fact that an external action excites only their natural intrinsic motions. Two kinds of external actions, harmonic and random, are studied. It is shown that each of them induces a transition to a new state that can be treated as a peculiar kind of phase transitions. Characteristics of these phase transitions are found.  相似文献

The paper presents a brief outline of microscopic as well as of macroscopic synergetics. In microscopic synergetics we start from evolution equations for microscopic variables or densities in which fluctuating forces and control parameters are included. When control parameters are changed, the systems are studied close to instability points. The concepts of order parameters, enslaving, critical fluctuations, and critical slowing down are presented. In macroscopic synergetics unbiased estimates on distribution functions and underlying processes are made based on observed moments or correlation functions. In such a case, a Fokker-Planck equation or a corresponding Langevin equation may be derived.  相似文献

N-ZnO/p-Si heterojunctions are prepared by sputtering deposition of intrinsic ZnO films on p-Si substrates. Thicknesses of ZnO films are altered by varying the deposition time from I h to 3h. The electrical properties of these structures are analysed from capacitance-voltage (C V) and current-voltage (I-V) characteristics performed in a dark room. The results demonstrated that all the samples show strong rectifying behaviour. Photovoltaie property for the samples with different thicknesses of ZnO films are investigated by measuring open circuit voltage and short circuit current. It is found that photovoltages are kept to be almost constant of 320 m V along with the thickness while photoeurrents changing a lot. The variation mechanism of the photovoltade effect as a function of thickness of ZnO films is investigated.  相似文献

Certain classes of flows of an ideal incompressible liquid which with time gradually lose their smoothness are studied. The loss of smoothness is expressed as infinite growth of the vorticity as t--> infinity for three-dimensional flows and an increase of the gradient of the vorticity for planar and axisymmetric flows. Examples of such flows in the planar and axisymmetric cases are flows with a rectilinear streamline; this can be established using a special local Lyapunov function. Incompressible flows of a dusty medium are another example (it turns out that collapse is impossible for such flows, but the vorticity and the rate of deformation, as a rule, grow with no limit). Other examples can be constructed by composition of shear flows. It is shown that in the vorticity metric almost all stationary planar flows are unstable with respect to three-dimensional disturbances and in the vorticity gradient metric planar and axisymmetric flows with a rectilinear streamline are unstable. This paper presents a procedure for predicting the damping added to a railway wheel when sandwich-type dampers are installed. Although there are different ways to reduce the noise generated by a railway wheel, most devices are based on the mechanism of increasing wheel damping. This is why modal damping ratios are a clear indicator of the efficiency of the damping device and essential when a vibro-acoustic study of a railway wheel is carried out. Based on a number of output variables extracted from the wheel and damper models, the strategy explained herein provides the final damping ratios of the damped wheel. Several different configurations are designed and experimentally tested. Theoretical and experimental results agree adequately, and it is demonstrated that this procedure is a good tool for qualitative comparison between different solutions in the design stages.  相似文献

The singularities of the time autocorrelation functions (ACFs) for a heteronuclear spin system of a crystal are investigated. Exact expressions are obtained for ten moments of the spectra of ACFs in the approximation of a self-consistent fluctuating field (SCFF) with arbitrary axial symmetry. These expressions are applied to determine the coordinate of the lowest singular point of these functions on the imaginary-time axis for a spin system with a dipole-dipole interaction (DDI). The leading corrections to this coordinate due to the correlation of local fields in real crystals are calculated. These corrections are determined by lattice sums with triangles of four bonds and pairs of four bonds. Numerical values of the coordinate are obtained for a LiF crystal in a magnetic field directed along three crystallographic axes. An increase in the coordinate of the singular point, which follows from the theory and leads to a faster falloff of the wings of the ACF spectra, qualitatively agrees with experiment.  相似文献

In the paper the VA-characteristics of a sandwich-type thin-layer system with amorphous semiconductor are discussed, where ohmic and non-ohmic contacts are considered. The VA-characteristics are derived which, in the case of ohmic contacts, lead to a linear dependence of the current on voltage and, in the case of non-ohmic contacts (where barriers are supposed), to a nonlinear dependence, so that VA-characteristics with negative resistance are possible as well. These VA-characteristics are compared with the experimental ones, measured on thin-layer metalamorphous Si-metal and metal-amorphous CdTe-metal structures.  相似文献

Theoretical and experimental results of investigations on a pulse-modulated autodyne oscillator affected by its own reflected radiation are presented. The main relations for the analysis of autodyne response as a function of reflected radiation delay time are obtained. Characteristics of autodyne self-oscillations, which allow improving their performance and extend functional capabilities of autodyne systems for short-range radar applications, are discussed. The angular-momentum dependences are analyzed for parity splitting and electric dipole transitions in alternating-parity bands of heavy nuclei. It is shown that these dependences can be treated universally by employing a single parameter taken to be a critical angular momentum that characterizes the phase transition from octupole vibrations to a stable octupole deformation. Analytic expressions for parity splitting and the electric dipole transitional moment are obtained on the basis of a simple model. The results are compared with experimental data for various barium, cerium, and neodymium isotopes.  相似文献

The results of a numerical study are described in which the interactions of a primary shock wave with a secondary diaphragm in expansion tubes are taken into account. The developing wave pattern in the interacting process of the shock with a secondary diaphragm are visualized by many kinds of figures (e.g., the time-distance diagrams of the wave phenomena on the axis, the acoustic impedance contours, and the time histories of the pitot pressure on the axis), and the influences of the shape and rupture process of the diaphragm on the quality of the test gas are explored.  相似文献

Distortions of lateral-shear interferograms in fringes of infinite width due to hologram aberrations are analyzed in a third approximation for a complex field amplitude. The interferometer sensitivity range in the field is shown to increase in the case where a Fourier hologram of a mat screen is recorded using a negative lens, two identical subjective speckles of two exposures are superimposed in the hologram plane, and errors of control are eliminated.  相似文献
