Let G be a finite group. The prime graph Γ(G) of G is defined as follows. The vertices of Γ(G) are the primes dividing the order of G and two distinct vertices p and p′ are joined by an edge if there is an element in G of order pp′. We denote by k(Γ(G)) the number of isomorphism classes of finite groups H satisfying Γ(G) = Γ(H). Given a natural number r, a finite group G is called r-recognizable by prime graph if k(Γ(G)) =  r. In Shen et al. (Sib. Math. J. 51(2):244–254, 2010), it is proved that if p is an odd prime, then B p (3) is recognizable by element orders. In this paper as the main result, we show that if G is a finite group such that Γ(G) = Γ(B p (3)), where p > 3 is an odd prime, then \({G\cong B_p(3)}\) or C p (3). Also if Γ(G) = Γ(B 3(3)), then \({G\cong B_3(3), C_3(3), D_4(3)}\), or \({G/O_2(G)\cong {\rm Aut}(^2B_2(8))}\). As a corollary, the main result of the above paper is obtained.  相似文献

We present an equivalence theorem, which includes all known characterizations of the class B p , i.e., the weight class of Ariño and Muckenhoupt, and also some new equivalent characterizations. We also give equivalent characterizations for the classes B p * , B * and RB p , and prove and apply a “gluing lemma” of independent interest.  相似文献

In this paper LJ-spaces are introduced and studied. They are a common generalization of Lindelöf spaces and J-spaces researched by E. Michael. A space X is called an LJ-space if, whenever {A, B} is a closed cover of X with AB compact, then A or B is Lindelöf. Semi-strong LJ-spaces and strong LJ-spaces are also defined and investigated. It is demonstrated that the three spaces are different and have interesting properties and behaviors.  相似文献

Given a unilateral forward shift S acting on a complex, separable, innite dimensional Hilbert space H, an asymptotically S-Toeplitz operator is a bounded linear operator T on H satisfying that {S* n TS n } is convergent with respect to one of the topologies commonly used in the algebra of bounded linear operators on H. In this paper, we study the asymptotic T u -Toeplitzness of weighted composition operators on the Hardy space H2, where u is a nonconstant inner function.  相似文献

A subgroup K of G is M p -supplemented in G if there exists a subgroup B of G such that G = KB and TB < G for every maximal subgroup T of K with |K: T| = p α. We study the structure of the chief factor of G by using M p -supplemented subgroups and generalize the results of Monakhov and Shnyparkov by involving the relevant results about the p-modular subgroup O p (G) of G.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the k-quasi-M-hyponormal operator and mainly prove that if T is a k-quasi-M-hyponormal operator, then \(\sigma _{ja}(T)\backslash \{0\}=\sigma _{a}(T)\backslash \{0\}\), and the spectrum is continuous on the class of all k-quasi-M-hyponormal operators; let \(d_{AB}\in B(B(H))\) denote either the generalized derivation \(\delta _{AB}= L_{A}-R_{B}\) or the elementary operator \(\Delta _{AB} =L_{A}R_{B}- I\), we show that if A and \(B^{*}\) are k-quasi-M-hyponormal operators, then \(d_{AB}\) is polaroid and generalized Weyl’s theorem holds for \(f(d_{AB})\), where f is an analytic function on \(\sigma (d_{AB})\) and f is not constant on each connected component of the open set U containing \(\sigma (d_{AB})\). In additon, we discuss the hyperinvariant subspace problem for k-quasi-M-hyponormal operators.  相似文献

We prove that for any \({A,B\in\mathbb{R}^{n\times n}}\) such that each matrix S satisfying min(A, B) ≤ S ≤ max(A, B) is nonsingular, all four matrices A ?1 B, AB ?1, B ?1 A and BA ?1 are P-matrices. A practical method for generating P-matrices is drawn from this result.  相似文献

A normal subgroup N of a finite group G is called n-decomposable in G if N is the union of n distinct G-conjugacy classes. We study the structure of nonperfect groups in which every proper nontrivial normal subgroup is m-decomposable, m+1-decomposable, or m+2-decomposable for some positive integer m. Suppose that G is a finite group and H is a subgroup of G. H is said to be an ss-quasinormal subgroup of G if there is a subgroup B of G such that \(G=HB\) and H permutes with every Sylow subgroup of B; H is said to be weakly s-permutably embedded in G if there are a subnormal subgroup T of G and an s-permutably embedded subgroup \(H_{se}\) of G contained in H such that \(G=HT\) and \(H\cap T\le H_{se}\). We fix in every non-cyclic Sylow subgroup P of G some subgroup D satisfying \(1<|D|<|P|\) and study the structure of G under the assumption that every subgroup H of P with \(|H|=|D|\) is either ss-quasinormal or weakly s-permutably embedded in G. A subgroup K of G is Mp-supplemented in G if there exists a subgroup B of G such that G = KB and TB < G for every maximal subgroup T of K with |K: T| = pα. In this paper we prove the following: Let p be a prime divisor of |G| and let H be ap-nilpotent subgroup having a Sylow p-subgroup of G. Suppose that H has a subgroup D with Dp ≠ 1 and |H: D| = pα. Then G is p-nilpotent if and only if every subgroup T of H with |T| = |D| is Mp-supplemented in G and NG(Tp)/CG(Tp) is a p-group.  相似文献

Let λK m,n be a complete bipartite multigraph with two partite sets having m and n vertices, respectively. A K p,q -factorization of λK m,n is a set of edge-disjoint K p,q -factors of λK m,n which partition the set of edges of λK m,n . When p = 1 and q is a prime number, Wang, in his paper [On K 1,q -factorization of complete bipartite graph, Discrete Math., 126: (1994), 359-364], investigated the K 1,q -factorization of K m,n and gave a sufficient condition for such a factorization to exist. In papers [K 1,k -factorization of complete bipartite graphs, Discrete Math., 259: 301-306 (2002),; K p,q -factorization of complete bipartite graphs, Sci. China Ser. A-Math., 47: (2004), 473-479], Du and Wang extended Wang’s result to the case that p and q are any positive integers. In this paper, we give a sufficient condition for λK m,n to have a K p,q -factorization. As a special case, it is shown that the necessary condition for the K p,q -factorization of λK m,n is always sufficient when p : q = k : (k + 1) for any positive integer k.  相似文献

A bounded linear operator T on a Banach space X is called an (m, p)-isometry if it satisfies the equation \({\sum_{k=0}^{m}(-1)^{k} {m \choose k}\|T^{k}x\|^{p}=0}\) , for all \({x \in X}\) . In this paper we study the structure which underlies the second parameter of (m, p)-isometric operators. We concentrate on determining when an (m, p)-isometry is a (μ, q)-isometry for some pair (μ, q). We also extend the definition of (m, p)-isometry, to include p = ∞ and study basic properties of these (m, ∞)-isometries.  相似文献

The k-uniform s-hypertree G = (V,E) is an s-hypergraph, where 1 ≤ sk - 1; and there exists a host tree T with vertex set V such that each edge of G induces a connected subtree of T. In this paper, some properties of uniform s-hypertrees are establised, as well as the upper and lower bounds on the largest H-eigenvalue of the adjacency tensor of k-uniform s-hypertrees in terms of the maximal degree Δ. Moreover, we also show that the gap between the maximum and the minimum values of the largest H-eigenvalue of k-uniform s-hypertrees is just Θ(Δ s/k ).  相似文献

Let k, n, and r be positive integers with k < n and \({r \leq \lfloor \frac{n}{k} \rfloor}\). We determine the facets of the r-stable n, k-hypersimplex. As a result, it turns out that the r-stable n, k-hypersimplex has exactly 2n facets for every \({r < \lfloor \frac{n}{k} \rfloor}\). We then utilize the equations of the facets to study when the r-stable hypersimplex is Gorenstein. For every k > 0 we identify an infinite collection of Gorenstein r-stable hypersimplices, consequently expanding the collection of r-stable hypersimplices known to have unimodal Ehrhart \({\delta}\)-vectors.  相似文献
