Three reforming catalysts Pt/Al2O3, Pt–Ir/Al2O3 and Pt–Re/Al2O3 have been sulfurated by H2S and tested by their activities in benzene hydrogenation. By treatment at 500°C under hydrogen flow only a part of the initial activity of the non-sulfurated catalyst is retained. So only a part of the adsorbed sulfur is easily removed in these conditions. The remaining sulfur for each of the catalysts (Pt/Al2O3, Pt–Ir/Al2O3 and Pt–Re/Al2O3) gives the same atomic ratio of 0.5 sulfur atom per accessible metallic atom.

Chemisorption of H2S on Al2O3, Al2O3–Cl and Pt/Al2O3–Cl has been studied by gravimetry and IR spectroscopy. The influence of the amount of Cl on the H2S adsorption equilibrium value and the nature of the adsorption sites at low and high coverages are discussed.

Reaction pathways for steam reforming of 2-propanol (isopropyl alcohol, IPA) on Rh/Al2O3, Ru/Al2O3 and Pd/Al2O3 have been studied by temperature-programmed reactions (TPRs) of IPA and acetone in the presence of steam. The results of TPRs suggest that that of IPA on Rh/Al2O3 and Ru/Al2O3 proceeds via acetone, while the steam reforming of IPA on Pd/Al2O3 takes place via propene from acetone. Acidity of Ni-modified alumina and silica-alumina catalysts was determined using n-butylamine titration and pyridine adsorption methods. Strong influence of Ni2+ ions on the Brönsted acidity of silicaalumina was observed. Improved Brönsted acidity of such system was confirmed by the results of the test reaction.  相似文献

This review describes the preparation, characterization and application of KNH2 loaded on alumina and KF loaded on alumina. These strong solid bases catalyze a variety of organic reactions in a very selective manner. To develop porous alumina supported MF ZrO2 membranes, ZrO2–Al2O3 composite intermediate layers are considered in order to decrease stress creation during the processing and avoid cracks formation. The relation between distortion stress and sintering shrinkage was experimentally studied. And the cracks formation mechanism was qualitatively evaluated and discussed. Finally, crack-free YSZ membrane with pore size of 0.16 μm on the two ZrO2–Al2O3 intermediate layers possessing a gradient composition was successfully prepared and characterized.  相似文献

Summary For the isolation of the intermetallic compounds Al2Cu, Al12Mg17, Al3Fe, Al9Co2 and Al3Ni in their binary alloys a new method is proposed: Sample alloy particles are placed in a flask with a methanolic solution of benzoic acid (20% wt.), oxine (5% wt.), chloroform (20% vol.) and sodium hydroxide (0.02% wt.). After sufficient time of agitation, the intermetallic compounds remain quantitatively in the solution.

Zusammenfassung Zur Isolierung der intermetallischen Verbindungen aus den entsprechenden binären Legierungen wird die Probe mehrere Stunden bis Tage unter Rühren mit einer methanolischen Lösung von Benzoesäure (20%), Oxin (5%), Chloroform (20%) und Natriumhydroxid (0,02%) behandelt. Hierbei wird die Matrix aufgelöst und die intermetallischen Verbindungen bleiben zurück.

Surface acidity of a series of silica-alumina mixed oxides have been investigated by IR-spectroscopy and catalytic measurements. Pure alumina was the most active catalyst in the conversion of butan-1-ol, but the E1 part in the reaction increased with increasing SiO2 content. It was concluded that the number of acidic sites increased with increasing Al2O3 content, while the strength of the acidic sites with the silica content.

Au/H 相似性的研究是现代化学中的一个热门话题. 我们从理论上报道Au/H 相似的新成员: 共价化合物B2Au4, 离子化合物Al2Au4和BAlAu4. 采用密度泛函和波函数理论方法对比研究了缺电子体系B2Au4、Al2Au4和BAlAu4的几何和电子结构. 详细讨论了它们基态结构的轨道、适应性自然密度划分(AdNDP)和电子局域函数(ELF)分析. 计算结果表明稍微扭曲变形的C2B2Au4是基态结构, 在这个共价化合物中含有两个B―Au―B三中心二电子(3c-2e)键. 然而C3v Al+(AlAu4)-和C3v Al+(BAu4)-被研究证明是含有三个X―Au―Al 三中心二电子键的类盐化合物(在Al2Au4中X=Al, BAlAu4中X=B). Al2Au4和BAlAu4是至今为止首例报道的在离子缺电子体系中含有金桥键的化合物. 同时计算了B2Au4-、Al2Au4- 和BAlAu4- 阴离子基态结构的绝热剥离能和垂直剥离能, 为实验表征提供依据. 文中报道的金桥键为共价键和离子键相结合的缺电子体系提供了一个有趣的键合模式, 有助于设计含有高度分散金原子的新材料和催化剂.  相似文献

Double insulating barrier tunnel emission electrodes were fabricated by adding a new pure aluminum layer upon oxidized aluminum electrodes by vacuum evaporation and thermally oxidizing the new aluminum layer in air at room temperature. Resulting Al/Al2O3/Al/Al2O3 electrodes allow the use of various aluminum alloys in the electrode body necessary for hardness or shaping ability of the electrode while obtaining the luminescence properties of pure aluminum oxide. During electrical excitation of luminescent labels by cathodic hot electron injection into aqueous electrolyte solution, the background noise is mainly based on high-field-induced solid-state electroluminescence and F-center luminescence of the outer aluminum oxide film. The more defect states and/or impurity centers the outer oxide film contains, the higher is the background emission intensity. The present electrode fabrication method provides a considerable improvement in signal-to-noise ratio for time-resolved electrochemiluminescence (TR-ECL) measurements when the original native oxide film of the electrode body contains luminescence centers displaying long-lived luminescence. The excellent performance of the present electrodes is demonstrated by extremely low-level detection of Tb(III) chelates, luminol, Pt(II) coproporphyrin and Tb(III) labels in an immunometric immunoassay by time-resolved electrochemiluminescence.  相似文献

CO2 fixation by hydrogenation over coprecipitated 36 wt.% Co/Al2O3 has been studied under a range of reaction conditions to clarify the effects of reaction variables and to determine the kinetics and mechanism of the reaction. A comparison of the results with those reported for CO hydrogenation on the same catalyst indicates that, although product distributions of CO2 and CO hydrogenation differ, the kinetics and mechanism are similar.  相似文献

During an initial stage of the reaction of CCl2F2 with hydrogen on alumina-supported Pd and Pd-Au catalysts, an extensive defluorination occurs. However, at steady state, this undesired defluorination is greatly reduced; CH4 and CH2F2 constitute the only major reaction products. A temperature programmed hydrogen treatment study shows retention of fluorine (and carbon) in used catalysts. Uning synchrotron radiation, LIII rhenium absorption spectra have been studied for Re/Al2O3 and Re+Pt/Al2O3 catalysts obtained by impregnation. For individual rhenium compounds a linear dependence between the shift of absorption edge and the state of rhenium oxidation has been found. The absorption spectra of reduced catalysts are significantly broadened as compared with those of individual compounds of the same valency. This points to the presence of rhenium compounds in different oxidation states.

The oxidation of methane on supported chromia was studied at temperatures varying between 423 and 743 K and CH4/O2 ratios between 1 and 9 in a differential reactor. The main reaction products observed were carbon monoxide and formaldehyde. The rates of reaction obey a power law expression.

Surface acidity of aluminium oxide containing 5 wt. % lanthanum oxide has been determined by IR spectroscopy. Strength of Lewis sites of the La2O3/Al2O3 system was lower than that of pure aluminium oxide. However, the presence of La2O3 in aluminium oxide increased the thermostability of these sites in the mixed system.  相似文献

A high-pressure Raman scattering study of the tungstate Al2(WO4)3 is presented. This study showed the onset of two reversible phase transitions at 0.28±0.07 and 2.8±0.1 GPa. The pressure evolution of Raman bands provides strong evidences that both the transitions involve rotations/tilts of nearly rigid tungstate tetrahedra and that the structure of the stable phase in the 0.28-2.8 GPa range may be the same as the structure of the ambient pressure, low-temperature monoclinic (C2h5) ferroelastic phase of Al2(WO4)3.  相似文献

The electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) and optical absorption spectra of nominally pure and Fe-doped single crystals of Al2O3 have been examined before and after gamma-ray irradiation at 77°K. The EPR spectra for doped and irradiated crystals were found to be a function of the iron concentration. Analysis of the optical and EPR spectra observed on the same Fe-doped crystals which had been subjected to gamma-ray irradiations suggests that the center which accounts most satisfactorily for the details of these spectra is: a single trapped-hole localized on an anion which is adjacent to a substitutional divalent iron impurity atom. The optical absorption band ascribed to this center occurs at 3.08 eV.  相似文献

Following hydrogen treatments at high temperature a decrease in hydrogen chemisorption at room temperature is observed in almost all group VIII elements supported on SiO2 or Al2O3. The effect is attributed to self inhibition by strongly chemisorbed hydrogen on the metals.
