套代数上高阶导子的刻画

设N是Banach空间X上的套,AlgN是相应的套代数。本文证明了,若套N中存在一个非平凡元在X中可补,那么AlgN上的每个可加Jordan高阶导子和每个可加三重Jordan高阶导子都是高阶导子。     

Jordan triple derivations on J-subspace lattice algebras

Let L be a J-subspace lattice on a Banach space X and Alg L the associated J-subspace lattice algebra. Let A be a standard operator subalgebra (i.e., it contains all finite rank operators in AlgL) of AlgL and M■B(X) the Alg L-bimodule. It is shown that every linear Jordan triple derivation from A into M is a derivation, and that every generalized Jordan (triple) derivation from A into M is a generalized derivation.     

Additive maps derivable or Jordan derivable at zero point on nest algebras

Let AlgN be a nest algebra associated with the nest N on a (real or complex) Banach space X. Assume that every N∈N is complemented whenever N_-=N. Let δ:AlgN→AlgN be an additive map. It is shown that the following three conditions are equivalent: (1) δ is derivable at zero point, i.e., δ(AB)=δ(A)B+Aδ(B) whenever AB=0; (2) δ is Jordan derivable at zero point, i.e., δ(AB+BA)=δ(A)B+Aδ(B)+Bδ(A)+δ(B)A whenever AB+BA=0; (3) δ has the form δ(A)=τ(A)+cA for some additive derivation τ and some scalar c. It is also shown that δ is generalized derivable at zero point, i.e., δ(AB)=δ(A)B+Aδ(B)-Aδ(I)B whenever AB=0, if and only if δ is an additive generalized derivation. Finer characterizations of above maps are given for the case dimX=∞.     

Additive Derivations on Jordan Banach Pairs

Abstract

We show the invariance of “almost all” primitive ideals under additive derivations on a Jordan Banach pair and we extend the well known result of Johnson and Sinclair to the Jordan Banach pairs framework.     

Jordan zero-product preserving additive maps on operator algebras

Let Φ:A→B be an additive surjective map between some operator algebras such that AB+BA=0 implies Φ(A)Φ(B)+Φ(B)Φ(A)=0. We show that, under some mild conditions, Φ is a Jordan homomorphism multiplied by a central element. Such operator algebras include von Neumann algebras, C^∗-algebras and standard operator algebras, etc. Particularly, if H and K are infinite-dimensional (real or complex) Hilbert spaces and A=B(H) and B=B(K), then there exists a nonzero scalar c and an invertible linear or conjugate-linear operator U:H→K such that either Φ(A)=cUAU⁻¹ for all A∈B(H), or Φ(A)=cUA^∗U⁻¹ for all A∈B(H).     

Additive maps preserving Jordan zero-products on nest algebras

Let and be nest algebras associated with the nests and on Banach Spaces. Assume that and are complemented whenever N_-=N and M_-=M. Let be a unital additive surjection. It is shown that Φ preserves Jordan zero-products in both directions, that is Φ(A)Φ(B)+Φ(B)Φ(A)=0AB+BA=0, if and only if Φ is either a ring isomorphism or a ring anti-isomorphism. Particularly, all unital additive surjective maps between Hilbert space nest algebras which preserves Jordan zero-products are characterized completely.     

Linear matrix differential dynamical systems with fuzzy matrices

In this paper, we investigate linear first-order fuzzy matrix differential dynamical systems where the coefficients matrix is described by a fuzzy matrix. We show some properties of the matrix differential dynamical systems, and their phase portraits are described by means of examples.     

Generalized derivations as Jordan homomorphisms on lie ideals and right ideals

Let R be a prime ring, L a non-central Lie ideal of R and g a non-zero generalized derivation of R. If g acts as a Jordan homomorphism on L, then either g（x） = x for all x ∈ R, or char（R） = 2, R satisfies the standard identity s4（x1, x2, x3, x4）, L is commutative and u2 ∈ Z（R）, for any u C L. We also examine some consequences of this result related to generalized derivations which act as Jordan homomorphisms on the set [I, I], where I is a non-zero right ideal of R.     

Maps preserving square-zero matrices on the algebra consisting of all upper triangular matrices

Let F be a field, T _n (F) (respectively, N _n (F)) the matrix algebra consisting of all n × n upper triangular matrices (respectively, strictly upper triangular matrices) over F. A ∈ T _n (F) is said to be square zero if A ² = 0. In this article, we firstly characterize non-singular linear maps on N _n (F) preserving square-zero matrices in both directions, then by using it we determine non-singular linear maps on T _n (F) preserving square-zero matrices in both directions.     

Linear recurrence relations in the algebra of matrices and applications

We study here some linear recurrence relations in the algebra of square matrices. With the aid of the Cayley–Hamilton Theorem, we derive some explicit formulas for Aⁿ (nr) and e^tA for every r×r matrix A, in terms of the coefficients of its characteristic polynomial and matrices A^j, where 0jr−1.     

Additivity of Jordan maps on triangular algebras

The aim of this article is to prove a result on the additivity of Jordan maps on triangular algebras. As a consequence the additivity of Jordan maps on upper triangular matrix algebras over a faithful commutative ring of 2-torsion free is determined.     

Some commutativity criteria for prime rings with differential identities on Jordan ideals

In this article, we present some commutativity theorems for a ring R equipped with a generalized derivation satisfying certain differential identities on Jordan ideals of R. Some related results for prime rings are also discussed. Finally; we provide examples to show that the assumed restrictions are not superfluous.     

STABILITY AND SUPERSTABILITY OF JORDAN HOMOMORPHISMS AND JORDAN DERIVATIONS ON BANACH ALGEBRAS AND C~＊-ALGEBRAS： A FIXED POINT APPROACH

Using fixed point methods, we prove the Hyers-Ulam-Rassias stability and superstability of Jordan homomorphisms (Jordan *-homomorphisms), and Jordan derivations (Jordan *-derivations) on Banach algebras (C*-algebras) for the generalized Jensen-type functional equationwhere r is a fixed positive real number in (1, ∞).     

投射可迁环上矩阵环的若当同态

设R′是一个环,Mn′（R′）是R′上的n′×n′矩阵环.如果环R有不变基数性质并且每个有限生成的投射左R-模是自由模,则R是一个投射自由环.如果环R≌Mr（S）,其中S是一个投射自由环,则R是一个投射可迁环.当R是一个投射可迁环时,给出了从Mn′（R′）到Mn（R）（n′≥n≥2）的若当同态的代数公式.     

Linear Maps Preserving Idempotency of Products of Matrices on Upper Triangular Matrix Algebras

Let Tn be the algebra of all n × n complex upper triangular matrices. We give the concrete forms of linear injective maps on Tn which preserve the nonzero idempotency of either products of two matrices or triple Jordan products of two matrices.     

A note on the sequence of consecutive powers of a nonnegative matrix in max algebra

In this note, we shall consider the sequence of consecutive powers in max algebra of a nonnegative matrix with each element less than or equal to 1. The notion of asymptotic period is defined to study the ‘limiting behavior' of this sequence. A simple and effective characterization for the asymptotic period of the sequence is given.     

Continuity of spectrum and approximate point spectrum on operator matrices

Let X and Y be given Banach spaces. For A∈B(X), B∈B(Y) and C∈B(Y,X), let MC be the operator defined on X⊕Y by . In this paper we give conditions for continuity of τ at MC through continuity of τ at A and B, where τ can be equal to the spectrum or approximate point spectrum.     

Positive Principal Minor Property of Linear Transformations on Euclidean Jordan Algebras

In this article, we study the positive principal minor (PPM) property of linear transformations on Euclidean Jordan algebras. Specifically, we give a characterization of the PPM property on the Lorentz space ℒ ⁿ and show that the PPM property implies the Q property. We also study a matrix-induced transformation on ℒ ⁿ .
