In many practical applications, images are distorted by impulsive noise (IN) produced by image sensors and/or communication channels. This noise may cause miscalculation of sharpness values which, in turn, introduce significant errors in the results of image fusion. In this paper, conventional focus measures and frequency selective weighted median filter (FSWM) are evaluated for fusion of multi-focus images in the presence of IN. FSWM is also compared with other multi-focus fusion methods such as Laplacian Pyramid and wavelet. Experimental results are presented for several sets of images and the results show that FSWM can provide better performance than other focus measures and methods. 相似文献

Apparent streak-like artifacts will present in reconstructed images due to excessive quantum noise in low-dose X-ray imaging process. Dealing with the noisy sinogram before a filtered back-projection (FBP) is a useful solution to solve this noise problem. In this paper, we proposed a novel noise restoration method combining wavelet and fuzzy logical technology for low-dose computed tomography (CT) sinogram. The method first utilizes stationary wavelet transform on the noisy sinogram, namely decomposes the sinogram to different resolution levels. And then, at each decomposed resolution level, a fuzzy shrinkage filter is applied to restore the noise-contaminated wavelet coefficients. Simulations were performed and indicated that the proposed method could significantly suppress noise and reduced streak-like artifacts in reconstructed images while at the same time maintaining the image sharpness. 相似文献

Composite wavelet based morphological correlation for continuous-scale-invariant pattern recognition
A composite nonlinear correlation is proposed to perform invariant recognition for the input image with continuous-scale distortions. The proposed correlation can be considered as a summation of many composite wavelet matched filters. Every matched filter consists of a linear combination of binary slices that are generated from threshold decomposition of the training images, and an adaptive wavelet filter. The adaptive wavelet is optimized to produce the sparse image features. Computer simulations are carried out to prove the scale-invariance and noise robustness of the new scheme. 相似文献

Image processing procedures for noise reduction and image registration in the Pressure Sensitive Paint (PSP) experiments are
investigated. A several types of filter are examined for the removal of shot noise. An algorithm to detect a marker cell located
on the model surface is proposed and an appropriate marker size is discussed. The digital processing based on the wavelet
transform is effective to reduce the shot noise and to enhance the edge of the model. The algorithm to sharpen the edge of
the model using wavelet transforms is developed. The results indicate that the methods developed in this study effectively

We outline a method to design a composite wavelet matched filter using the breeder genetic algorithm. The composite filter consists of a linear combination of wavelet and matched filters. Breeder genetic algorithm has been used to find the optimal weighting coefficients for the wavelet and the matched filters that constitute the composite filter. For the breeder genetic algorithm, the geometric mean has been used as the crossover operator and the creep has been used as the mutation operator. The performance of the filter is tested in the presence of additive white Gaussian noise. The performance of the composite wavelet matched filter has also been compared with that of the phase only filter and the classical matched filter. The designed filter can be used in an optical correlator to separate two classes of input images for fingerprint-based user identification in security systems. 相似文献

In this work, a numerical study on the pattern correlation using wavelet filters is reported. A comparative study of the correlation using the Mexican hat and Coiflets filters is presented. A Coiflet filter acts not only as a band-pass filter but as a high-pass or low-pass filter. Therefore, unlike the Mexican hat-based filter which acts only as a pass-band filter, the Coiflet-based filters allow selecting horizontal, vertical or diagonals details of the original image. Each one of the original images can be discomposed in an average image and several detail images at different levels of multiresolution. We study the numerical correlation between binary patterns using the Mexican hat filter and the first and second multiresolution level obtained by Coiflet filtering. Additionally, an analysis about the noise immunity for the Mexican hat and Coiflet filters is realized. The results show that Coiflet filters are better to identify special characteristics but perform the worst when they are used with noisy images. On the other side, the Mexican filter presents a better noise immunity but performs the worst when is used to compare special characteristics. 相似文献

针对半导体器件中普遍存在的1/f噪声提出了一种结合了提升小波变换和维纳滤波器的处理方法.首先利用重新加权迭代最小二乘法拟合1/f噪声的功率谱曲线得到噪声参数的估计,从而选择恰当的小波.其次,对包含了1/f噪声的信号进行提升小波变换.考虑到小波变换对1/f噪声的白化作用,利用维纳滤波器对每一层小波系数进行处理.设计了最优全通滤波器以校正维纳滤波器的相频特性,使得小波系数经滤波后相位不变.最后利用提升小波逆变换获得被1/f噪声淹没的信号.利用实验检验了提出方法的有效性,实验数据采自用于微创外科手术机器人的力传感器.结果表明提出的方法能够有效抑制1/f噪声,并使传感器的分辨力提高了25%.

The theoretical and experimental investigations on the polarization imagery system of speckle statistical characteristics and speckle removing method are researched. A method to obtain two images encoded by polarization degree with a single measurement process is proposed. A theoretical model for polarization imagery system on Müller matrix is proposed. According to modern charge coupled device (CCD) imaging characteristics, speckles are divided into two kinds, namely small speckle and big speckle. Based on this model, a speckle reduction algorithm based on a dual-tree complex wavelet transform (DTCWT) and blockmatching 3D filter (BM3D) is proposed (DTBM3D). Original laser image data transformed by logarithmic compression is decomposed by DTCWT into approximation and detail subbands. Bilateral filtering is applied to the approximation subbands, and a suited BM3D filter is applied to the detail subbands. The despeckling results show that contrast improvement index and edge preserve index outperform those of traditional methods. The researches have important reference value in research of speckle noise level and removing speckle noise. 相似文献

提出了一种有效去除光电成像测量系统中靶标图像噪音的混合降噪法.根据图像像素局部梯度模找出图像中受椒盐噪音污染的像素,使用中值滤波降噪.对去除椒盐噪音的图像,利用复对数Gabor小波提取各像素的相位信息和幅度信息,确定最小尺度滤波器对噪音幅度分布的估计值,从而自动地确定各个尺度上的噪音幅度分布的估计值和噪音萎缩阈值,达到有效降噪的目的.实验表明,该方法的降噪效果明显优于实symlet4小波、中值滤波和单一复对数Gabor小波降噪法. 相似文献

提出了基于一种新的小波——具有紧支撑、正交性、伸缩矩阵为[^2 0 ^0 2]的非张量积小波的图像融合方法。首先根据非张量积小波理论,利用Daubechies构造的单变量滤波器构造出基于四通道的不可分的小波滤波器组,用此滤波器组对参加融合的图像进行分解,然后对低频部分采用取均值、高频部分采用系数绝对值取大的融合算法对分解子图进行融合,最后重构。并采用熵、交叉熵、互信息、均方根误差和峰值信噪比等指标对该方法进行了客观评价。对可见光图像与红外图像、远红外图像与近红外图像、遥感图像、多聚焦图像和其它多类图像的融合实验结果证明本方法有较好的融合效果,其融合性能与采用同样融合算法的张量积db2小波的融合方法的融合性能相当。 相似文献

提出了一种简单有效的像素级多聚焦图像融合方法。针对正交小波变换缺乏平移不变性而产生视觉失真的缺陷,采用Atrous算法将原图像分解在不同频率域上。Atrous算法先将滤波器h0(n),h1(n)各点间插入适当的零值后再与低频信号做卷积,故又称为"多孔算法"。将具有抑制噪声性能的空阈相关法作为高频子图像的融合规则,选取相关性强边缘特征显著的点作为最终融合子图像的像素点。实验表明,由此融合的图像能完好的保留边缘纹理信息。融合后的图像在客观评价和主管视觉效果上均有提高。 相似文献

The effects of atmospheric blur, gaussian noise distortion and Wiener filter restoration on human target detection performance is addressed in this paper. A specially designed psychophysical experiment shows significant degradation in detection performance caused by the contrast and noise limiting effects of the atmospheric blur and noise distortion. The experiment also shows that although Wiener filter restoration improves the distorted image sharpness and contrast, it amplifies the noise and does not compensate for the performance degradation caused by distortion. The paper presents a spectral analysis approach to the original, distorted and restored images, as well as an analysis of the target signal to noise ratio. Each analysis defines an alternative method for evaluating a spatial cutoff frequency that determines the restoration efficiency, which practically limits the detection performance. This frequency is then used to predict the probability of detection according to a target acquisition model and the Johnson chart. Moreover, the methods are used to determine whether noise or contrast will limit target perception. The methods were applied to the experimental infrared image database and showed good agreement with the related experimental probabilities of detection. 相似文献

为了鉴别一幅数字图像是否存在作伪的区域,应用数字图像与数码相机的噪音相关性,提出一种检测数字图像区域作伪的新方法.该方法首先利用小波滤波器从数字图像中提取出残留噪音,采用平均多幅图像残留噪音的办法得到相机的噪音参考模式.然后选择一个适当大小的检测模块在嫌疑图像的残留噪音和相机的噪音参考模式上同步移动,同时求出两者的噪音相关系数.最后把这一噪音相关系数与预设的判别阈值进行比较,从而判定该嫌疑图像是否存在作伪区域.在假设错误接受率为10-3的条件下,利用Neyman-Pearson判别规则求出各相机的判别阈值,利用浮动阈值法和加入三个修正措施后进行检测.结果表明,该方法的区域检测正确率为87%左右. 相似文献

For the single-shot full-field optical coherence tomography (OCT) using spatially phase-modulated reference light, the basic
characteristics have been simulated. At low spatial frequencies, the OCT signal intensity is enhanced twofold owing to subtractions,
and with increasing the spatial frequency, the OCT signal intensity decreases 0.636 times at half the Nyquist frequency. OCT
signal intensities also depend on orientations in images. Residual noninterference components of signal intensities between
adjacent uniform areas increase background noise and reduce the system sensitivity. In the reference light, the optimum phase
difference between adjacent uniform areas is 180 deg. Deviations from 180 deg reduce subtracted interference components. It
is important that interference intensity, noninterference components and phases between adjacent uniform areas be approximately
the same to obtain the OCT image with the reduction of background noise stably. 相似文献
