High-valent, four-coordinate manganese imido- and nitrido-bridged heterodicubane clusters have been prepared and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction and spectroscopic techniques. The title compound, a corner-nitride-fused dicubane with the chemical formula [Mn(5)Li(3)(μ(6)-N)(N)(μ(3)-N(t)Bu)(6)(μ-N(t)Bu)(3)(N(t)Bu)] (1), has been prepared as an adduct with a nearly isostructural tetramanganese cluster with one Mn atom replaced by Li. An important feature of the reported chemistry is the formation of nitride from tert-butylamide, indicative of N-C bond cleavage facilitated by manganese.  相似文献

Two tetranuclear manganese(II) complexes {K(+)[Mn(4)(ThiaSO(2))(2)(OH)](-)} (1) and {K(+)[Mn(4)(ThiaSO(2))(2)(F)](-)} (2) have been synthesized under solvothermal conditions in methanol with p-tert-butylsulfonylcalix[4]arene (ThiaSO(2)). For both complexes, the structure has been established from single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The two complexes are best described as manganese squares sandwiched between two thiacalixarene macrocycles. In both complexes, in the center of the square formed by the four manganese(II) atoms, the unexpected presence of μ(4)-OH(-) or μ(4)-F(-) gives a negative charge to the cluster. The two tetranuclear complexes exhibit strong orange luminescence behavior resulting from the symbiosis between the ThiaSO(2) and the Mn(2+). Despite similar chemical formulation, (1) and (2) present difference in emission intensity and lifetime τ.  相似文献

The controlled organization of high-spin complexes, eventually single-molecule magnets, is a great challenge in molecular sciences to probe the possibility to design sophisticated magnetic systems to address a large quantity of magnetic information. The coordination chemistry is a tool of choice to make such materials. In this work, high-spin S(T) = 22 [Mn(10)] complexes, such as [Mn(III)(6)Mn(II)(4)(L(1))(6)(μ(4)-O)(4)(μ(3)-N(3))(4)(CH(3)CN)(11)(H(2)O)]·(ClO(4))(2)·(CH(3)CN)(8.5) (1), have been assembled using (i) 1,3-propanediol derivatives as chelating ligands to form the [Mn(10)] core units and (ii) dicyanamide or azide anions as linkers to synthesize the first 2D and 3D [Mn(10)]-based networks: [Mn(III)(6)Mn(II)(4)(L(2))(6)(μ(3)-N(3))(4)(μ(4)-O)(4)(CH(3)OH)(4)(dca)(2)] (2) and [Mn(III)(6)Mn(II)(4)(L(3))(6)(μ(3)-N(3))(4)(μ(4)-O)(4)(N(3))(2)]·(CH(3)OH)(4) (3). The synthesis of these compounds is reported together with their single-crystal X-ray structures and magnetic properties supported by DFT calculations. In the reported synthetic conditions, the stability of the [Mn(10)] complex is remarkably good that allows us to imagine many new materials combining these high-spin moieties and other diamagnetic but also paramagnetic linkers to design for example ordered magnets.  相似文献

Three new polynuclear complexes, [Co(7)(bm)(12)]·(ClO(4))(2)·13H(2)O (1), [Co(4)(bm)(4)Cl(4)(C(3)H(7)OH)(4)] (2), and [Co(4)(bm)(4)(μ-HCO(2))(2)(μ(2)-HCO(2))(2)(C(3)H(7)OH)(2)] (3) (Hbm = (1H-Benzimidazol)-methanol), have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, powder X-ray diffraction and X-ray single-crystal diffraction. Compound 1 features a centrosymmetric wheel-like heptanuclear Co(II) cluster. Compound 2 having a I4(1)/a space group exhibits a tetranuclear Co(II) cluster with a cubane topology in which the central Co(II) ion and oxygen atoms from bm occupy the alternate vertices of the cube. However, compound 3 has a tetranuclear Co(II) cluster with a C2/c space group different from that of compound 2. These results show that the geometries and sizes of the corresponding anions as well as their coordinating and hydrogen-bonding properties are essential in determining the final structures of the assemblies. Magnetic properties of 1-3 in the 2-300 K have also been discussed. The {Co(7)} (1) and {Co(4)} (2) cores display dominant ferromagnetic interactions while the {Co(4)} (3) core displays dominant anti-ferromagnetic interactions.  相似文献

The reaction of Mn(2)(CO)(9)(NCMe) with thiirane yielded the sulfidomanganese carbonyl compounds Mn(2)(CO)(7)(mu-S(2)), 2, Mn(4)(CO)(15)(mu(3)-S(2))(mu(4)-S(2)), 3, and Mn(4)(CO)(14)(NCMe)(mu(3)-S(2))(mu(4)-S(2)), 4, by transfer of sulfur from the thiirane to the manganese complex. Compound 3 was obtained in better yield from the reaction of 2 with CO, and compound 4 is obtained from the reaction of 2 with NCMe. The reaction of 2 with PMe(2)Ph yielded the tetramanganese disulfide Mn(4)(CO)(15)(PMe(2)Ph)(2)(mu(3)-S)(2), 5, and S=PMe(2)Ph. The reaction of 5 with PMe(2)Ph yielded Mn(4)(CO)(14)(PMe(2)Ph)(3)(mu(3)-S)(2), 6, by ligand substitution. The reaction of 2 with AsMe(2)Ph yielded the new complexes Mn(4)(CO)(14)(AsMe(2)Ph)(2)(mu(3)-S(2))(2), 7, Mn(4)(CO)(14)(AsMe(2)Ph)(mu(3)-S(2))(mu(4)-S(2)), 8, Mn(6)(CO)(20)(AsMe(2)Ph)(2)(mu(4)-S(2))(3), 9, and Mn(2)(CO)(6)(AsMe(2)Ph)(mu-S(2)), 10. Reaction of 2 with AsPh(3) yielded the monosubstitution derivative Mn(2)(CO)(6)(AsPh(3))(mu-S(2)), 11. Reaction of 7 with PMe(2)Ph yielded Mn(4)(CO)(15)(AsMe(2)Ph)(2)(mu(3)-S)(2), 12. The phosphine analogue of 7, Mn(4)(CO)(14)(PMe(2)Ph)(2)(mu(3)-S(2))(2), 13, was prepared from the reaction of Mn(2)(CO)(9)(PMe(2)Ph) with Me(3)NO and thiirane. Compounds 2-9 and 11-13 were characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Compound 2 contains a disulfido ligand that bridges two Mn(CO)(3) groups that are joined by a Mn-Mn single bond, 2.6745(5) A in length. A carbonyl ligand bridges the Mn-Mn bond. Compounds 3 and 4 contain four manganese atoms with one triply bridging and one quadruply bridging disulfido ligand. Compounds 5 and 6 contain four manganese atoms with two triply bridging sulfido ligands. Compound 9 contains three quadruply bridging disulfido ligands imbedded in a cluster of six manganese atoms.  相似文献

The synthesis and magnetic properties of the high-spin tetranuclear cluster [Mn(III)(2)Mn(II)(2)(O(2)CC(CH(3))(3))(2)(teaH(2))(2)(teaH)(2)](O(2)CC(CH(3))(3))(2) (1) (where teaH(3) = triethanolamine) is described. Complex 1 is the pivalate analogue of our previously reported family of tetranuclear mixed-valence carboxylate clusters. The teaH(2)(-) and teaH(2-) anions in complex 1 act as oxygen donors in the {Mn(III)(2)Mn(II)(2)O(2)} "butterfly" core. Detailed dc and ac magnetic susceptibility measurements and magnetisation isotherms have been made and show that intra-cluster ferromagnetic coupling is occurring between the S = 2 Mn(III) and S = 5/2 Mn(II) ions to yield a S = 9 ground state and the g, J(bb) and J(wb) parameters have been deduced (b = body, w = wingtip). Incorporation of the acetylacetonate (acac(-)) ligand has led to three new clusters: [Mn(III)(2)Mn(II)(2)(O(2)CPh)(4)(teaH)(2)(acac)(2)].MeCN (2), [Mn(III)(2)Mn(II)(2)(teaH)(2)(acac)(4)(MeOH)(2)](ClO(4))(2) (3) and [Mn(III)(2)Mn(II)(2)(bheapH)(2)(acac)(4)(MeOH)(2)](ClO(4))(2) (4) (where bheapH(3) = 1-[N,N-bis(2-hydroxyethyl)amino]-2-propanol). Unlike any previously reported tetranuclear clusters containing the Mn(II)(2)Mn(III)(2) core, 2, 3, and 4 exhibit a reversal in their Mn(II)(2)Mn(III)(2) oxidation state distribution. In these clusters, the "wing-tip" Mn atoms exhibit Mn(III) (S = 2) oxidation states while the Mn(II) ions occupy the central "body" positions. Furthermore, the cores in 2, 3, and 4 contain at least one mu(2)-oxygen based bridging ion as opposed to the standard two mu(3)-oxygen bridges previously reported. More precisely, cluster 2 exhibits one mu(3)-O bridge and two mu(2)-bridges in a {Mn(II)(2)Mn(III)(2)O(3)} core while clusters 3 and 4 exhibit two mu(2)-O linkers within the {Mn(II)(2)Mn(III)(2)O(2)} core. All display trigonal prismatic coordination around the Mn(II) centres. These structural and oxidation state differences lead to very different magnetic coupling interactions between the four Mn(II/III) centres compared to 1. Direct current magnetic susceptibility measurements and magnetisation isotherms show that clusters 3 and 4 have ground states of S = 1. The g, J(bb) and J(wb) parameters have been deduced.  相似文献

A series of di-, tri-, and tetra-nuclear iron-oxido clusters with bis(trimethylsilyl)amide and thiolate ligands were synthesized from the reactions of Fe{N(SiMe(3))(2)}(2) (1) with 1 equiv of thiol HSR (R = C(6)H(5) (Ph), 4-(t)BuC(6)H(4), 2,6-Ph(2)C(6)H(3) (Dpp), 2,4,6-(i)Pr(3)C(6)H(2) (Tip)) and subsequent treatment with O(2). The trinuclear clusters [{(Me(3)Si)(2)N}Fe](3)(μ(3)-O){μ-S(4-RC(6)H(4))}(3) (R = H (3a), (t)Bu (3b)) were obtained from the reactions of 1 with HSPh or HS(4-(t)BuC(6)H(4)) and O(2), while we isolated a tetranuclear cluster [{(Me(3)Si)(2)N}(2)Fe(2)(μ-SDpp)](2)(μ(3)-O)(2) (4) as crystals from an analogous reaction with HSDpp. Treatment of a tertrahydrofuran (THF) solution of 1 with HSTip and O(2) resulted in the formation of a dinuclear complex [{(Me(3)Si)(2)N}(TipS)(THF)Fe](2)(μ-O) (5). The molecular structures of these complexes have been determined by X-ray crystallographic analysis.  相似文献

Reactions of Fe[N(SiMe(3))(2)](2) with 1 and 2 equiv of Ph(3)SiSH in hexane afforded dinuclear silanethiolato complexes, [Fe(N(SiMe(3))(2))(mu-SSiPh(3))](2) (1) and [Fe(SSiPh(3))(mu-SSiPh(3))](2) (2), respectively. Various Lewis bases were readily added to 2, generating mononuclear adducts, Fe(SSiPh(3))(2)(L)(2) [L = CH(3)CN (3a), 4-(t)BuC(5)H(4)N (3b), PEt(3) (3c), (LL) = tmeda (3d)]. From the analogous reactions of M[N(SiMe(3))(2)](2) (M = Mn, Co) and [Ni(NPh(2))(2)](2) with Ph(3)SiSH in the presence of TMEDA, the corresponding silanethiolato complexes, M(SSiPh(3))(2)(tmeda) [M = Mn (4), Co (5), Ni (6)], were isolated. Treatment of 3a with (PPh(4))(2)[MoS(4)] or (NEt(4))(2)[FeCl(4)] resulted in formation of a linear trinuclear Fe-Mo-Fe cluster (PPh(4))(2)[MoS(4)(Fe(SSiPh(3))(2))(2)] (7) or a dinuclear complex (NEt(4))(2)[Fe(2)(SSiPh(3))(2)Cl(4)] (8). On the other hand, the reaction of 3a with [Cu(CH(3)CN)(4)](PF(6)) gave a cyclic tetranuclear copper cluster Cu(4)(SSiPh(3))(4) (9), where silanethiolato ligands were transferred from iron to copper. Silicon-sulfur bond cleavage was found to occur when the cobalt complex 5 was treated with (NBu(4))F in THF, and a cobalt-sulfido cluster Co(6)(mu(3)-S)(8)(PPh(3))(6) (10) was isolated upon addition of PPh(3) to the reaction system. The silanethiolato complexes reported here are expected to serve as convenient precursors for sulfido cluster synthesis.  相似文献

Treatment of the complex [U(Tren(TMS))(Cl)(THF)] [1, Tren(TMS) = N(CH(2)CH(2)NSiMe(3))(3)] with Me(3)SiI at room temperature afforded known crystalline [U(Tren(TMS))(I)(THF)] (2), which is reported as a new polymorph. Sublimation of 2 at 160 °C and 10(-6) mmHg afforded the solvent-free dimer complex [{U(Tren(TMS))(μ-I)}(2)] (3), which crystallizes in two polymorphic forms. During routine preparations of 1, an additional complex identified as [U(Cl)(5)(THF)][Li(THF)(4)] (4) was isolated in very low yield due to the presence of a slight excess of [U(Cl)(4)(THF)(3)] in one batch. Reaction of 1 with one equivalent of lithium dicyclohexylamide or bis(trimethylsilyl)amide gave the corresponding amide complexes [U(Tren(TMS))(NR(2))] (5, R = cyclohexyl; 6, R = trimethylsilyl), which both afforded the cationic, separated ion pair complex [U(Tren(TMS))(THF)(2)][BPh(4)] (7) following treatment of the respective amides with Et(3)NH·BPh(4). The analogous reaction of 5 with Et(3)NH·BAr(f)(4) [Ar(f) = C(6)H(3)-3,5-(CF(3))(2)] afforded, following addition of 1 to give a crystallizable compound, the cationic, separated ion pair complex [{U(Tren(TMS))(THF)}(2)(μ-Cl)][BAr(f)(4)] (8). Reaction of 7 with K[Mn(CO)(5)] or 5 or 6 with [HMn(CO)(5)] in THF afforded [U(Tren(TMS))(THF)(μ-OC)Mn(CO)(4)] (9); when these reactions were repeated in the presence of 1,2-dimethoxyethane (DME), the separated ion pair [U(Tren(TMS))(DME)][Mn(CO)(5)] (10) was isolated instead. Reaction of 5 with [HMn(CO)(5)] in toluene afforded [{U(Tren(TMS))(μ-OC)(2)Mn(CO)(3)}(2)] (11). Similarly, reaction of the cyclometalated complex [U{N(CH(2)CH(2)NSiMe(2)Bu(t))(2)(CH(2)CH(2)NSiMeBu(t)CH(2))}] with [HMn(CO)(5)] gave [{U(Tren(DMSB))(μ-OC)(2)Mn(CO)(3)}(2)] [12, Tren(DMSB) = N(CH(2)CH(2)NSiMe(2)Bu(t))(3)]. Attempts to prepare the manganocene derivative [U(Tren(TMS))MnCp(2)] from 7 and K[MnCp(2)] were unsuccessful and resulted in formation of [{U(Tren(TMS))}(2)(μ-O)] (13) and [MnCp(2)]. Complexes 3-13 have been characterized by X-ray crystallography, (1)H NMR spectroscopy, FTIR spectroscopy, Evans method magnetic moment, and CHN microanalyses.  相似文献

Reaction of the aluminum hydroxide LAl(OH)[C(Ph)CH(Ph)] (1, L = HC[(CMe)(NAr)](2), Ar = 2,6-iPr(2)C(6)H(3)) with Y(CH(2)SiMe(3))(3)(THF)(2) yielded the oxo-bridged heterobimetallic yttrium dialkyl complex LAl[C(Ph)CH(Ph)](μ-O)Y(CH(2)SiMe(3))(2)(THF)(2) (2). Alkane elimination reaction of 2 with 2-(imino)pyrrole [NN]H ([NN]H = 2-(ArN═CH)-5-tBuC(4)H(2)NH) afforded the yttrium monoalkyl complex LAl[C(Ph)CH(Ph)] (μ-O)Y(CH(2)SiMe(3))[NN](THF)(2) (5). Alternatively, 5 can be prepared in high yield by reaction of 1 with [NN]Y(CH(2)SiMe(3))(2)(THF)(2) (3). The analogous samarium alkyl complex LAl[C(Ph)CH(Ph)](μ-O)Sm(CH(2)SiMe(3))[NN](THF)(2) (6) was prepared similarly. Reactions of 5 and 6 with 1 equiv of iPrOH yielded the corresponding alkoxyl complexes 7 and 8, respectively. The molecular structures of 3, 6, and 8 have been determined by X-ray single-crystal analysis. Complexes 2, 3, 5, 7, and 8 have been investigated as lactide polymerization initiators. The heterobimetallic alkoxyl 8 is highly active to yield high molecular weight (M(n) = 6.91 × 10(4)) polylactides with over 91% conversion at the lactide-to-initiator molar ratio of 2000.  相似文献

Two novel Mn(II) coordination polymers with azide and 4-(4-pyridyl)benzoic acid N-oxide (4,4-Hopybz) were synthesized and structurally and magnetically characterized. They are formulated as {[Mn(2)(4,4-opybz)(2)(N(3))(2)(H(2)O)(2)]·H(2)O}(n) (1) and {[Mn(4)(4,4-opybz)(5)(N(3))(H(2)O)(8)](N(3))(2)·2H(2)O}(n) (2). Compound 1 contains 2D coordination layers in which the infinite Mn(II) chains with alternating (μ-EO-N(3))(2)(μ-COO) (EO = end-on) and (μ-COO)(μ-O) bridges are interlinked by the backbones of the organic ligands. Compound 2 is a 3D metal-organic framework in which the unique linear tetranuclear clusters with (μ-EO-N(3))(μ-COO) and (μ-COO)(μ-O) bridges are cross-linked by organic backbones, and it represents a new example of the rare 8-connected self-catenated 3D net with the point symbol 4(16)·6(12). Magnetic analyses on the compounds have been performed in the classical-spin approximation, revealing that all the above-mentioned mixed bridging motifs induce weak antiferromagnetic interactions between Mn(II) ions.  相似文献

Three polynuclear complexes, [NiNa(μ(1,1,1)-N(3))(μ-hmb)(2)(DMF)](2), (1), [Ni(4)(μ(3)-OMe)(4)(heb)(4)(MeOH)(1.05)(H(2)O)(2.95)], (2) and [Ni(III)(OH)(6)(hmb)(6)Ni(II)(6)]·(ClO(4))(3) (3) (Hhmb = 2-hydroxy-3-methoxy-benzaldehyde; Hheb = 2-hydroxy-3-ethoxy-benzaldehyde), were prepared by reaction of the appropriate ligand with nickel(II) perchloride hexahydrate under solvothermal conditions. All compounds were characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy and X-ray single-crystal diffraction. Compound 1 exhibits a centrosymmetric heterotetranuclear cluster which represents the first nickel complex to possess two connected face-sharing cubes structure {Ni(2)Na(2)N(2)O(4)}. Compound 2 has a tetranuclear Ni cluster with a cubane topology in which the Ni(II) and the oxygen atoms from the methanol ligands occupying alternate vertices of the cube. Compound 3 consisits of a mixed-valence [Ni(III)(OH)(6)(hmb)(6)Ni(II)(6)](3+) subunits and it represents the first nickel {Ni(II)(6)Ni(III)} complex to possess a planar hexagonal disc-like structure. The results show that the minor ligand modifications or solvent change have a key role in the structural control of the self-assembly process. Magnetic properties of 1-3 in the 300-2 K have been discussed. The {Ni(2)Na(2)} (1) and {Ni(4)} (2) core display dominant ferromagnetic interactions from the nature of the binding modes through μ(3)-N(3)(-) or μ(3)-OCH(3)(-), while {Ni(II)(6)Ni(III)} core (3) displays dominant anti-ferromagnetic interactions from the nature of the binding modes through μ(3)-OH(-).  相似文献

[K(2)(P(4)Mes(4))] (1) or [Na(2)(THF)(4)(P(4)Mes(4))] (2) (Mes = 2,4,6-Me(3)C(6)H(2)) reacts with one equivalent of HCl and subsequently with 0.5 equivalents of [{RhCl(cod)}(2)] (cod = 1,5-cyclooctadiene) to give a mixture of rhodium complexes, from which [Rh(P(4)HMes(4))(cod)] (3) and the secondary product [Rh(2)(micro-P(2)HMes(2))(mu-PHMes)(cod)(2)] (4) were isolated and characterised by X-ray diffraction studies. Alternatively, the reaction of [K(2)(P(4)Ph(4))] (5) or [Na(2)(THF)(5)(P(4)Ph(4))] (6) with one equivalent of HCl and subsequently with one equivalent of [CuCl(PCyp(3))(2)] (Cyp = cyclo-C(5)H(9)) gave the complex [Cu(4)(P(4)Ph(4))(2)(PH(2)Ph)(2)(PCyp(3))(2)] (7), presumably via disproportionation of the monoanion (P(4)HPh(4))(-).  相似文献

Mixtures of Ln(SC(6)F(5))(3) and Ln(EPh)(3) (E = S, Se) react with elemental E to give chalcogen-rich clusters with fluorinated thiolate ancillary ligands. The structures of both (THF)(6)Yb(4)S(SS)(4)(SC(6)F(5))(2) and (THF)(6)Yb(4)Se(SeSe)(4)(SC(6)F(5))(2) have been established by low-temperature single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Both compounds contain a square array of Yb(III) ions connected by a central mu(4)-E(2-) ligand. The edges of the square Yb(4) array are bridged by four mu(2)(EE) ligands, and two terminal SC(6)F(5) are on the same side of the Ln(4) plane that is capped by the mu(4)-E(2-) ion. Redox inactive (THF)(6)Tm(4)Se(SeSe)(4)(SC(6)F(5))(2) was also prepared to establish the extension of this chemistry to the redox inactive Ln. These clusters are soluble in toluene.  相似文献

Reaction of a mixture of CuCl, PhSnCl(3) and PEt(2)Ph with S(SiMe(3))(2) in THF resulted initially in the unexpected synthesis of the ionic, mixed copper-tin sulfide cluster [Li(thf)(4)][Cu(19)S(28)(SnPh)(12)(PEt(2)Ph)(3)] in low yields. However, by adding NBu(4)Cl to the reaction solutions we were able to selectively synthesize the structurally similar cluster ion in (NBu(4))[Cu(19)S(28)(SnPh)(12)(PEt(2)Ph)(3)]. Structural characterization by single crystal X-ray analysis reveals that the cluster anions consist in principle of a copper sulfide core decorated by PhSn(3+) groups. Although additional phosphine ligands are attached to copper atoms the clusters possess an open 'Cu(3)S(3)' face mostly protected by the [Li(thf)(4)](+) and (NBu(4))(+) counterions in the crystal structure. The cluster (NBu(4))[Cu(19)S(28)(SnPh)(12)(PEt(2)Ph)(3)] displays near-infrared, temperature-dependent photoluminescence at ~820-930 nm in the solid state, which is especially bright at temperatures below ~100 K.  相似文献

Reaction of CpMoMn(CO)(8) with elemental selenium and Me(3)NO in the absence of light yielded the diselenido complex CpMoMn(CO)(5)(mu-Se(2)), 2. Compound 2 contains a bridging diselenido ligand lying perpendicular to the Mo-Mn bond, Mo-Mn = 2.8421(10) A. In the presence of room light, the reaction yielded the tetranuclear metal complex Cp(2)Mo(2)Mn(2)(CO)(7)(mu(3)-Se)(4), 3 (36% yield), and 2 (7% yield). Compound 2 reacted with ethylene to yield the ethanediselenato complex CpMoMn(CO)(5)(mu-SeCH(2)CH(2)Se), 4, by insertion of ethylene into the Se-Se bond. Compound 2 also reacted with (PPh(3))(2)Pt(PhC(2)Ph) and CpCo(CO)(2) to yield the complexes CpMoMnPt(PPh(3))(2)(CO)(5)(mu(3)-Se)(2), 5, and Cp(2)CoMoMn(CO)(5)(mu(3)-Se)(2), 6, respectively, by insertion of the metal groupings CpCo and Pt(PPh(3))(2) into the Se-Se bond of 2. The oxo compound Cp(2)CoMo(O)Mn(CO)(5)(mu(3)-Se)(2), 7, was obtained from 6 by decarbonylation at molybdenum by using Me(3)NO. The molecular structures of the complexes 2-7 were established by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses.  相似文献

The synthesis of the proligands C(5)Me(4)HSiMe(2)N(H)R) (R = CMe(2)Ph 1, 2-C(6)H(4)Ph 2) was accomplished via a straightforward salt metathesis reaction of the appropriate lithium amide and ClSiMe(2)(C(5)Me(5)H). Generation of the dilithio salt and reaction with TiCl(3)·(THF)(3) followed by oxidation gave C(5)Me(4)SiMe(2)N(C(6)H(4)Ph)TiCl(2) (3) in low yield. In contrast, deprotonation of 1 and 2 and reaction with (Me(2)N)(2)TiCl(2) afforded C(5)Me(4)(SiMe(2)NR)Ti(NMe(2))(2) (R = CMe(2)Ph 4, 2-C(6)H(4)Ph 5), respectively, in good yields Treatment with MeI gave the analogs C(5)Me(4)(SiMe(2)NR)TiI(2) (R = CMe(2)Ph 6, 2-C(6)H(4)Ph 7). Reduction of 7 with potassium graphite afforded C(5)Me(4)(SiMe(2)NC(6)H(4)Ph)Ti 8. Treatment of 6 and 7 with MeMgBr afforded C(5)Me(4)(SiMe(2)NR)TiMe(2) (R = CMe(2)Ph 9, 2-C(6)H(4)Ph 10). Complexes 9 and 10 in combination with the activator [Ph(3)C][B(C(6)F(5))(4)] catalyzed the polymerization of styrene and ethylene. Copolymerization was also investigated. While the catalyst derived from 10 showed poor activity, compound 9 showed markedly higher activity than 10 and (C(5)Me(4))SiMe(2)(NtBu)]TiMe(2).  相似文献

We report the synthesis of a series of mixed valence Mn(II/IV) tetranuclear clusters [Mn(II)(2)Mn(IV)(2)O(2)(heed)(2)(EtOH)(6)Br(2)]Br(2) (), [Mn(II)(2)Mn(IV)(2)O(2)(heed)(2)(H(2)O)(2)Cl(4)].2EtOH.H(2)O (.2EtOH.H(2)O), [Mn(II)(2)Mn(IV)(2)O(2)(heed)(2)(heedH(2))(2)](ClO(4))(4) (), [Mn(II)(2)Mn(IV)(2)O(2)(heed)(2)(MeCN)(2)(H(2)O)(2)(bpy)(2)](ClO(4))(4) () and [Mn(II)(2)Mn(IV)(2)O(2)(heed)(2)(bpy)(2)Br(4)].2MeOH (.2MeOH). Clusters are constructed from the tripodal ligand N,N-bis(2-hydroxyethyl)ethylene diamine (heedH(2)) and represent rare examples of tetranuclear Mn clusters possessing the linear trans zig-zag topology, being the first Mn(II/IV) mixed-valent clusters of this type. The molecular clusters can then be used as building blocks in tandem with the (linear) linker dicyanamide ([N(CN)(2)](-), dca(-)) for the formation of a novel extended network {[Mn(II)(2)Mn(IV)(2)O(2)(heed)(2)(H(2)O)(2)(MeOH)(2)(dca)(2)]Br(2)}(n) (), which exhibits a rare form of the 2D herring bone topology.  相似文献
