We investigate and analyze the evolution of self-healing characteristic on diffraction-free Airy beams. We also show that different internal structure of Airy beams contribute to self-healing by breaking the integrity of Airy beams. A numerical simulation is performed and demonstrate that each independent structure undertakes different roles. It is believed that the intriguing characteristic of Airy beams can be applied in many fields such as optical tweezers, atom trapping and manipulating.  相似文献

We report the realization of broadband reflected acoustic focusing lenses based on thermoacoustic phased arrays of Bessel-like beams, in which the units of phase manipulation are composed of three rigid insulated boundaries and a thermal insulation film in air with different temperatures. Based on these units, we realize a reflected focusing lens which can focus reflected acoustic energy on a line, and its fractional bandwidth can reach about 0.29. In addition, we discuss the influences of the base angle of Bessel-like beam, the number of basic unit, and the variation of unit temperature on focusing performances in details. Furthermore, the reflected focusing lens for the cylindrical acoustic wave based on the Bessel-like beam is also demonstrated. The proposed focusing lens has the advantages of a broad working bandwidth, large focus size,and high robustness, which may provide possibilities for the design and application of acoustic lenses.  相似文献

Numerically and experimentally circular arrayed‐Airy vortex beams (CAAVBs) are demonstrated, of which propagation dynamics and autofocusing performance are investigated. In contrast to the classical circular Airy beams, the focal intensity of CAAVBs can be abruptly enhanced several orders of magnitude by introducing vortex arrays (VAs) and increasing Airy arrays number, and the autofocusing performance markedly increases in the focal plane due to introducing VAs. The position of the focal point can be readily controlled by varying the circular arrayed Airy radius is also demonstrated. Experimental results agree with the numerical calculations. These advantages could be beneficial for potential applications in optical trapping, the generation of high intensity laser, medical treatment, and nonlinear effect.  相似文献

近年来,随着激光技术的快速发展,相继产生了多种在远距离传输后中心光斑保持不变的无衍射光束,包括贝塞尔光束、高阶贝塞尔光束、马丢光束、高阶马丢光束、余弦光束、抛物线光束以及艾里光束.无衍射光束在激光打孔、激光精密准直、光学精密控制、光学微操控、光通信、等离子体导向、光子弹产生、光通信、自聚焦光束的合成以及非线性光学等领域中有着广泛的应用.本文介绍了各类无衍射光束的数学表达式、产生方法及对应的实验结果;就无衍射光束的特性和应用进行了归纳和讨论;并对其在未来的研究与应用前景中发挥的重要作用进行了简要总结与展望.  相似文献

研究了非整数维超声相控阵聚焦特性以及在石油井下的扫描探测方法,首先对1.25D,1.5D和1.75D相控阵聚焦声场进行了分析,对如何提高仰角方向分辨率及减少动态阵元数等问题进行了深入的讨论;然后,研究了环形和分割环形相控阵列聚焦声场及声束偏转等特性,并和2D面阵进行了对比分析;论文还对1.25D、1.5D、1.75D、环形和分割环形相控阵列在石油测井中的应用方法进行了研究和讨论,为超声相控阵技术在井下应用提供了理论基础。  相似文献

The non-integral dimensions ultrasonic phased arrays and their scanning and testing methods in a borehole are studied. First, the focusing acoustic fields excited by the 1.25D, 1.5D, and 1.75D phased arrays are analyzed, and then the imaging resolution in the elevation direction and the influence of the dynamic elements are investigated. Second, the focusing and deflexion characteristics of the acoustic fields excited by the annular and segmented annular phased arrays are studied, and they are compared with those excited by the 2D surface array. The application method of the 1.25D, 1.5D, and 1.75D, annular and segmented annular phased arrays in acoustic logging are analyzed and discussed. It provides a theoretical foundation for the application of the ultrasonic phased arrays in acoustic logging.  相似文献

The paper presents an analytical method for calculating and analyzing the quality of 3-D acoustic fields of multielement phased arrays used in noninvasive ultrasound surgical devices. An analytical solution for the far field of each of its elements is used when calculating the array field. This method significantly accelerates calculations while preserving the high accuracy of results as compared to conventional direct numerical integration. Radiation from typical phased arrays is calculated using this approach, and the quality of their dynamic focusing is analyzed. Undesired diffraction effects caused by electronic focus steering are considered: an amplitude decrease in the main maximum and the appearance of grating lobes. The quality of dynamic focusing of the acoustic fields of two practically interesting arrays with a quasi-random element distribution (256 and 1024 elements, respectively), as well as of the regular array consisting of 256 elements is compared. In addition as well, a study is made of how the dimensions of the array elements and their spatial distributions affect the dimensions of the areas in which dynamic focusing is possible without occurrence of strong grating lobes and significant decrease in pressure amplitude at the main focus.

We demonstrate, both theoretically and numerically, the efficient manipulation of plasmonic Airy beams in linear optical potentials produced by a wedged metal-dielectric-metal structure. By varying the angle between the metallic plates, we can accelerate, compensate, or reverse the self-deflection of the plasmonic Airy beams without compromising the self-healing properties. We also show that in the linear potentials the Airy plasmons of different wavelengths could be routed into different directions, creating new opportunities for optical steering and manipulation.  相似文献

无衍射光束(如贝塞尔光束、艾里光束)因具有无衍射、自愈合的特性, 在很多领域都有广泛的应用. 本文提出使用纯相位型空间光调制器对光场的复振幅进行调控, 从而可以产生多种复杂模式的无衍射光束, 如强度可独立调控的多个零阶贝塞尔光束, 两个高阶贝塞尔光束干涉生成的花瓣状无衍射光束, 具有多个主瓣的加速光束等特殊的无衍射光束. 通过在待测焦场附近放置一个平面反射镜, 使其沿光轴快速扫描光场, 并由数字相机同步拍摄反射回来的一系列二维光场强度分布信息, 可实现对无衍射光束三维光场强度分布的快速测量和表征. 本实验方法和技术可以快速产生各种复杂的特殊光场并获得其精确的三维可视化重建效果, 在光学显微、光学俘获、光学微加工等领域有潜在的应用价值.  相似文献

We report an experimental realization of a plasmonic Airy beam, which is generated thoroughly on a silver surface. With a carefully designed nanoarray structure, such Airy beams come into being from an in-plane propagating surface plasmon polariton wave, exhibiting nonspreading, self-bending, and self-healing properties. Besides, a new phase-tuning method based on nonperfectly matched diffraction processes is proposed to generate and modulate the beam almost at will. This unique plasmonic Airy beam as well as the generation method would significantly promote the evolutions in in-plane surface plasmon polariton manipulations and indicate potential applications in lab-on-chip photonic integrations.  相似文献

We present the nondiffracting spatially accelerating solutions of the Maxwell equations. Such beams accelerate in a circular trajectory, thus generalizing the concept of Airy beams to the full domain of the wave equation. For both TE and TM polarizations, the beams exhibit shape-preserving bending which can have subwavelength features, and the Poynting vector of the main lobe displays a turn of more than 90°. We show that these accelerating beams are self-healing, analyze their properties, and find the new class of accelerating breathers: self-bending beams of periodically oscillating shapes. Finally, we emphasize that in their scalar form, these beams are the exact solutions for nondispersive accelerating wave packets of the most common wave equation describing time-harmonic waves. As such, this work has profound implications to many linear wave systems in nature, ranging from acoustic and elastic waves to surface waves in fluids and membranes.  相似文献

We investigate the scintillation properties of Airy beam arrays in atmospheric turbulence. By utilizing the "self-bending" propagation property of Airy beams, the constituent beamlets propagate through relatively independent regions of turbulence but still largely overlap at the on-axis detector. Through numeric simulations, it is shown that the scintillation of an Airy beam array is significantly reduced and close to the theoretical minimum.  相似文献

开展了界面条件下线型超声相控阵声场特性的研究.将带有楔块的超声相控阵问题合理简化为液固界面的情况进行讨论.根据射线声学理论,计算了单阵元在液固界面存在时的辐射声场,进而推导了聚焦法则,得到了超声线型阵在液固界面存在时的声场、位移场表达式.对安装在楔块上的相控阵换能器的辐射声场进行了仿真,并讨论了聚焦对换能器轴向和横向声场的影响,结果表明利用聚焦能提高分辨率和灵敏度,但聚焦区域之外声束性能更差,在实际检测中要合理利用聚焦. 关键词: 超声相控阵 界面 声场 聚焦  相似文献

由于良好的声束偏转与聚焦特性,超声相控阵已经广泛应用于多层固体介质的缺陷检测。当超声束经过多层介质时,由于反射、透射以及模式转换的存在,多种声束存在于这种结构中,使得声场分析变得复杂。为了提高多层介质检测的准确性,有必要对超声声场的分布规律进行深入地了解。该文结合高斯声束等效点源模型以及射线追踪法,给出了相控阵声源在多层固体介质中激发声场的仿真方法,并且模拟计算了一维线型相控阵在楔块-铝-黄铜-钢四层固体介质中的辐射声场。通过对不同延时法则的计算,实现了声波在这种复杂介质中的偏转与聚焦,进而研究了不同焦点处聚焦声场的分布。结果表明:相控阵方法能使聚焦点处的声场幅值增大,能量集中,提高了检测分辨率;不同聚焦点处声场聚焦效果不同,实际检测时应根据检测区域结构及位置特点,合理放置相控阵换能器。与瑞利积分法的比较表明,该文的仿真方法适用于多层介质相控阵声场的计算。  相似文献

The self-healing ability during propagation process is one of the most important properties of non-diffracting beams. This ability has crucial advantages to light sheet-based microscopy to reduce scattering artefacts, increase the quality of the image and enhance the resolution of microscopy. Based on similarity between two infinite-dimensional complex vectors in Hilbert space, the ability to a Bessel–Gaussian beam and an Airy beam have been studied and compared. Comparing the evolution of the similarity of Bessel–Gaussian beam with Airy beam under the same conditions, we find that Bessel–Gaussian beam has stronger self-healing ability and is more stable than that of Airy beam. To confirm this result, the intensity profiles of Bessel–Gaussian beam and Airy beam with different similarities are numerically calculated and compared.  相似文献

本文是研制超声相控阵换能器动态聚焦系统,它包括数字式多通道信号发射系统和两种超声相控阵换能器。用数字式多通道信号发射系统产生多路数字信号,通 过改变每路信号的时延(相位),控制相控阵换能器的各个阵元,使它们发出的声束在空间某点聚焦。我们对这两种相控阵进行了实验测量,结果表明,用数字控 制的相控阵换能器,可以实现精密的动态聚焦,并可取得良好的聚焦效果。  相似文献

A comparative study of two methods used for dynamic focusing of ultrasound: the conventional phased arrays and a new method based on time reversal of acoustic signals is carried out. A laboratory model of the focusing system based on time reversal is developed and manufactured. One of the principal elements of the system is a reverberator with several piezoelectric transducers attached to its walls. Experiments are carried out to demonstrate the ability of such a system to generate one focus or several foci and to steer them electronically at considerable distances (50 mm at minimum) off the axis of the focusing system without causing the appearance of any grating lobes or other secondary intensity maxima. The focusing properties of the system are compared with the results of numerical simulation of two-dimensional phased arrays, whose parameters are taken to be typical for the arrays used in extracorporeal surgery. The important role of randomization is demonstrated for both of the aforementioned focusing methods. The prospects of practical application of the two methods are discussed.  相似文献

利用单轴晶体光束传输理论,求得了具有附加球面相位Airy光束在单轴晶体中的传输公式.数值模拟计算结果表明,线偏振附加球面相位Airy光束在晶体中传输时仍为线偏振,但不是传输不变的.粗略地讲,具有附加球面相位的Airy光束在晶体中传输时,近场是传输不变的;而在由晶体寻常与非寻常折射率和球面半径共同确定的两个特定传输距离处,传输光束转换成了取向不同的Gaussian-Airy光束,且高斯依赖的束宽度敏感地与截断因子相关;而当光束依次穿过此两位置时光斑花样先后相对于两横向轴平面做镜像演化,且镜像演化顺序也与晶体寻常和非寻常折射率相对大小密切相关,其总的效果是远场强度花样能恢复原样但花样取向产生了关于对过横平面二、四象限平分平面的镜像演化.这些结果表明,通过恰当选择晶体材料(即折射率)和附加球面相位的半径R,可以调控光束花样的形状、取向及表征各向异性材料的相关性质.  相似文献

We demonstrate experimentally the generation and near-field imaging of nondiffracting surface waves, plasmonic Airy beams, propagating on the surface of a gold metal film. The Airy plasmons are excited by an engineered nanoscale phase grating, and demonstrate significant beam bending over their propagation. We show that the observed Airy plasmons exhibit self-healing properties, suggesting novel applications in plasmonic circuitry and surface optical manipulation.  相似文献
