Based on the vectorial structure of an electromagnetic wave, the analytical and concise expressions for the TE and TM terms of a vectorial plane wave diffracted by a circular aperture are derived in the far-field. The expressions of the energy flux distributions of the TE term, the TM term and the diffracted plane wave are also presented. The ratios of the power of the TE and TM terms to that of the diffracted plane wave are examined in the far-field. In addition, the far-field divergence angles of the TE term, the TM term and the diffracted plane wave, which are related to the energy flux distribution, are investigated. The different energy flux distributions of the TE and TM terms result in the discrepancy of their divergence angles. The influences of the linearly polarized angle and the radius of the circular aperture on the far-field divergence angles of the TE term, the TM term and the diffracted plane wave are discussed in detail. This research may promote the recognition of the optical propagation through a circular aperture.vspace1mm  相似文献

The diurnal variation of radiation plays a key role in determining the diurnal variations of tropical oceanic convective and stratiform rainfall, and the examination of such a relationship requires a direct link between the radiation term in a heat budget and the surface rain rate in a cloud budget. Thus, the thermally related surface rainfall budgets derived from the combination of cloud and heat budgets are analysed with two-dimensional equilibrium cloud-resolving model simulation data to study the effects of sea surface temperature (SST) and cloud radiative, and microphysical processes on the diurnal variations of convective and stratiform rainfall. The results show that the increase in SST, the inclusion of diurnal variation of SST and the exclusion of cloud radiative processes increase negative diurnal anomalies of heat divergence over rainfall-free regions during the nighttime through changing the vertical structures of diurnal anomaly of radiation in the troposphere. The strengthened negative diurnal anomalies of heat divergence over rainfall-free regions enhance positive diurnal anomalies of heat divergence over convective regions, which intensifies the positive diurnal anomaly of convective rainfall. The exclusion of microphysical effects of ice clouds increases the negative diurnal anomaly of heat divergence over rainfall-free regions during the nighttime through reducing latent heat; this appears to enhance the positive diurnal anomaly of heat divergence over raining stratiform regions, and thus stratiform rainfall.  相似文献

It is well-known that the variations of Goos–Hänchen shifts (GHSs) are closely associated with the energy flux provided by evanescent states in the case of total internal reflection. However, when the frustrated total internal reflection (FTIR) is realized with double-prism system operated in the microwave frequency, we observe that the GHSs for the reflected beam show periodic, resembling the phenomenon for transmitted beams reported in the literatures, versus either the operating frequency or the air layer thickness, which is different from the variation of the corresponding reflected energy. Moreover, in another FTIR based system fabricated by a composite absorptive material slab with a two-dimensional top layer of frequency selective surface (FSS), the GHSs for reflected beam are discovered as not only resonant but also negative with the incidence of transverse electric that is TE polarized, just as predicted theoretically in the literatures.  相似文献

利用稳相法和矢量结构理论, 导出了线偏振拉盖尔-高斯光束的矢量结构项TE项和TM项在远场的解析表达式. 进而利用TE项和TM项的远场能流分布, 给出了TE项和TM项的功率占总功率比例的度量式,同时还给出了线偏振拉盖尔-高斯光束、TE项和TM项三者远场发散角的解析式以及三者远场发散角间的关系式. 所得到的公式不仅适用于傍轴情形,而且还适用于非傍轴情形. 通过数值计算, 分析了TE项和TM项在远场的功率占总功率的比例与参数f和模数间的依赖关系;还分析了拉盖尔-高斯光束、TE项和TM项的远场发散角随参数f、模数和线偏振角的变化关系.这一研究从矢量结构本性揭示了线偏振拉盖尔-高斯光束的远场发散特性, 丰富了对其传输特性的认识.  相似文献

利用矢量角谱法和稳相法,研究了涡旋洛伦兹-高斯光束的远场矢量结构特征,导出了横电项(TE项)和横磁项(TM项)远场电磁场和相应能流的解析表达式。通过相应的数值计算,分析了拓扑电荷数对涡旋洛伦兹-高斯光束及其矢量结构项远场能流分布的影响。TE项由位于竖直方向的2瓣或3瓣组成,TM项可由TE项旋转90得到。涡旋洛伦兹-高斯光束在拓扑电荷数小时内部中空,外部亮环均匀分布。增大拓扑电荷数,涡旋洛伦兹-高斯光束外部亮环上的能流呈起伏分布,内部变化相对复杂。涡旋洛伦兹-高斯光束及其矢量结构项的光斑尺寸随拓扑电荷数的增大而增大,但会饱和。研究显示,涡旋洛伦兹-高斯光束在实际应用时拓扑电荷数不宜过大。  相似文献

运用电磁光束的角谱法和稳相法, 推导出双曲余弦高斯(ChG) 涡旋光束的TE波和TM波在自由空间远场传输和能流密度的解析表达式, 用以研究了ChG涡旋光束在远场中的位相奇点和能流密度分布特性. 结果表明, 改变ChG 涡旋光束中的离心参数或束腰宽度, 位相奇点的密度、位置会发生变化. 涡旋离轴量的变化会导致能流密度分布的不对称性. 当离心参数增大时, 原点周围黑核会向原点中心移动. 关键词: 双曲余弦高斯涡旋光束 位相奇点 能流密度  相似文献

基于角谱法和稳相法,推导出了空心高斯涡旋光束的TE波和TM波在自由空间远场传输和能流密度的解析表达式,研究了其相位奇点和能流密度分布。结果表明,空心高斯涡旋光束的远场特性主要跟控制参数有关。改变光束中的涡旋离轴量,光涡旋和能流密度黑核会发生移动。圆刃型位错线的半径和能流密度暗环位置跟束腰宽度有关,而能流密度的对称性主要受涡旋离轴量的影响。  相似文献

The explicit far-field expressions for the TE and TM terms and energy flux distributions of electromagnetic elliptical Gaussian vortex beams are derived and their far-field properties including the phase singularities and energy flux distributions of the TE and TM terms and whole beam are studied in detail. It is shown that there exist two edge dislocations. The number and position of edge dislocations and energy flux distributions are dependent on the amplitude ratio and waist width ratio of electromagnetic elliptical Gaussian vortex beams. 系统研究了负μ材料(MNG)作为包层的对称三层平板波导的传输特性. 研究发现,这种波导既支持快波的传播,又支持TE0,TE1模式的慢波传输. 其模式特性不同于左手介质波导和传统介质波导,导模存在的模折射率范围要比它们的大. MNG波导的TE0快波模缺失,且TEm模(m>1)的传播常数大于TMm模的传播常数. TEm模具有双模特征,且与波导的结构参数密切相关,导致波导中的净能流出现负值. 关键词: 单负介质 平板波导 快波与慢波 传播常数  相似文献

用非结构网格有限体积法求解自然对流换热时,传统的对流项离散格式难以兼顾数值精度与计算效率,我们发展了一种耦合高精度格式的延迟修正方法,用于对流项的离散.高Re数下方腔驱动流数值计算验证了该方法具有较高的计算精度和较好的稳定性.Boussinesq流体的自然对流换热数值模拟,表明该方法能有效克服高Ra数时数值计算发散,可准确捕捉自然对流换热问题中不同偏心率下的等温线和流线分布特征.  相似文献

A hybrid machinery that is useful for calculations in teleparallel theories when the spacetime is spherically symmetric is developed. Using this machinery, the gravitational energy–momentum tensor density of the Schwarzschild spacetime is evaluated in a frame adapted to observers that accelerate in the radial direction. The energy density, the total energy, and the gravitational energy-momentum flux are obtained. The regularization procedure and the limit where gravity is absent is discussed. It turns out that the regularized energy and energy–momentum flux are consistent in the whole spacetime. The continuity equation for the gravitational energy–momentum also holds for any point outside the black hole. Finally, the static and freely falling cases are discussed. It is found that a static observer measures a negative gravitational energy density, while a freely falling one measures a vanishing density.  相似文献

We investigate theoretically the characteristics of surface waves in uniaxially anisotropic left-handed materials. The constraints for the existence of TE and TM polarized surface waves in uniaxially anisotropic left-handed materials are identified. We discuss mainly whether TE and TM polarized surface modes may coexist in the same frequency domain at the interface between one isotropic regular medium and another uniaxially anisotropic left-handed medium. It is shown that the answer to the coexistence of TE and TM surface modes is really positive. The Poynting vector and the density of energy associated with surface modes are calculated. Depending on the system parameters either TE or TM surface modes has the time averaged Poynting vector directed opposite or same to the mode phase velocity. In the presence of anisotropy, negative refraction does not need to be left-handed. We show that the characteristics of surface waves in uniaxially anisotropic left-handed media are significantly different from that in isotropic left-handed media.  相似文献

Based on the vectorial structure of non-paraxial electromagnetic beam and the method of stationary phase, the analytical TE and TM terms of non-paraxial nonsymmetrical vector Gaussian beam in the far field are presented. According to the analytical electromagnetic fields of the TE and TM terms, the energy flux distributions of the whole beam, its TE and TM terms are investigated. Moreover, the influences of non-symmetries on the energy flux distributions of the whole beam, its TE and TM terms are also analyzed, respectively. This research reveals the internal vectorial structure of non-paraxial laser beam in the far field and is useful to the propagation of non-paraxial laser beam.  相似文献

光束在电介质界面发生全反射时,实际反射光束会在入射面内相对于几何反射光束产生一侧向位移,在垂直于入射面的方向产生一横向位移。利用改进的能流法研究了任意偏振态光束发生全反射时的侧向和横向位移特性。研究表明,侧向位移的大小与入射光束的两组成部分———TE和TM偏振光的相位差无关,而与两组分的光强比密切相关,且该位移可以表示为TE和TM偏振光束各自的位移按光强的加权平均。横向位移的大小不仅与入射光束两组分的光强比相关,还与组分的相位差密切相关。另外,反射光束不仅在椭圆偏振态入射的情况下会产生横向位移,而且在TE和TM偏振态之外的其他线偏振态入射时,也会产生横向位移。  相似文献

在局域热动平衡近似下,研究几何壳层结构所产生的腔体约束对辐射过程的影响.基于同心圆柱和同心圆球的壳夹层光输运模型,给出垂直于光子通路的谱辐射能流径向分布和平均能流公式,通过数值求解得到截面平均的壳层结构平均几何自由程,研究输运通道的径向光学厚度和几何结构对几何自由程的影响.由于球几何对光子的三维束缚,球壳层结构对辐射过程的影响比柱壳层更大,辐射过程必须根据实际几何构型和辐射通道的光学厚度予以几何自由程的修正.为方便使用,根据一定几何构型结合严格数值解给出了几何自由程的拟合公式.  相似文献

By means of the method of vector angular spectrum representation and the mathematical techniques, the analytically vectorial structure of the circular flattened Gaussian beam (CFGB) is derived without any approximation, which can be applicable to an arbitrary observation plane. In the far-field, the analytical formulae of the TE and the TM terms are further simplified using the method of stationary phase. The analytical expressions of the energy flux for the TE term, the TM term, and the CFGB are also presented. The energy flux distributions of the TE term, the TM term, and the CFGB are demonstrated in different reference planes, and the evolvement of the patterns of the TE term, the TM term, and the CFGB upon propagation are graphically illustrated.  相似文献

The magnetic flux dependence of the vortex state for small mesoscopic superconducting rings surrounded by a medium is investigated by the phenomenological Ginzburg-Landau theory. The influences of the ring size and the surface superconductivity on the free energy and total supercurrent are studied. For narrow rings, the persistent current evolves towards a periodic behaviour with magnetic flux. The complete paramagnetic or diamagnetic state, corresponding to positive or negative current flowing in the whole ring, can occur. A remarkable intermittent superconducting behaviour for the ground-state transition is found when the strength of surface-suppressed superconductivity is enlarged or the ring size is decreased. Consequently, a pure superconducting state with positive total current can be obtained.  相似文献

This paper investigates the interaction between transient wave and non-stationary and non-conservative basic flow. An interaction equation is derived from the zonally symmetric and non-hydrostatic primitive equations in Cartesian coordinates by using the Momentum-Casimir method. In the derivation, it is assumed that the transient disturbances satisfy the linear perturbation equations and the basic states are non-conservative and slowly vary in time and space. The diabatic heating composed of basic-state heating and perturbation heating is also introduced. Since the theory of wave-flow interaction is constructed in non-hydrostatic and ageostrophic dynamical framework, it is applicable to diagnosing the interaction between the meso-scale convective system in front and the background flow.
It follows from the local interaction equation that the local tendency of pseudomomentum wave-activity density depends on the combination of the perturbation flux divergence second-order in disturbance amplitude, the local change of basic-state pseudomomentum density, the basic-state flux divergence and the forcing effect of diabatic heating. Furthermore, the tendency of pseudomomentum wave-activity density is opposite to that of basic-state pseudomomentum density. The globally integrated basic-state pseudomomentum equation and wave-activity equation reveal that the global development of basic-state pseudomomentum is only dominated by the basic-state diabatic heating while it is the forcing effect of total diabatic heating from which the global evolution of pseudomomentum wave activity results. Therefore, the interaction between the transient wave and the non-stationary and non-conservative basic flow is realized in virtue of the basic-state diabatic heating.  相似文献
