We extend techniques developed for the study of turbulent fluid flows to the statistical study of the dynamics of differential delay equations. Because the phase spaces of differential delay equations are infinite dimensional, phase-space densities for these systems are functionals. We derive a Hopf-like functional differential equation governing the evolution of these densities. The functional differential equation is reduced to an infinite chain of linear partial differential equations using perturbation theory. A necessary condition for a measure to be invariant under the action of a nonlinear differential delay equation is given. Finally, we show that the evolution equation for the density functional is the Fourier transform of the infinite-dimensional version of the Kramers-Moyal expansion.  相似文献

Two special classes of conserved densities involving arbitrary smooth functions are explicitly formulated for the generalized Riemann equation at arbitrary N. The particular case when N = 2 covers most of the known conserved densities of the equation, and the result is also extended to the famous Gurevich-Zybin, Monge-Ampere and two-component Hunter-Saxton equations by considering certain reductions.  相似文献

A stochastic version of Lotka-Volterra model subjected to real noises is proposed and investigated. The approximate stationary probability densities for both predator and prey are obtained analytically. The original system is firstly transformed to a pair of It o stochastic differential equations. The Ito formula is then carried out to obtain the It o stochastic differential equation for the period orbit function. The orbit function is considered as slowly varying process under reasonable assumptions. By applying the stochastic averaging method to the orbit function in one period, the averaged Ito stochastic differential equation of the motion orbit and the corresponding Fokker-Planck equation are derived. The probability density functions of the two species are thus formulated. Finally, a classical real noise model is given as an example to show the proposed approximate method. The accuracy of the proposed procedure is verified by Monte Carlo simulation.  相似文献

Using the generalized Kolmogorov-Feller equation with long-range interaction, we obtain kinetic equations with fractional derivatives with respect to coordinates. The method of successive approximations, with averaging with respect to a fast variable, is used. The main assumption is that the correlation function of probability densities of particles to make a step has a power-law dependence. As a result, we obtain a Fokker-Planck equation with fractional coordinate derivative of order 1<α<2.  相似文献

Balance equation approach to the hot-electron transport in electric and magnetic fields is reformulated.The balance equations are re-derived from the Boltzmann equation. A new expression for the distribution function isreported in the present paper. It is homogeneous steady solution of the Boltzmann equation in constant relaxation timeapproximation. It holds when ωocτ < i or ωc < Te. As an example, the mobility of 2D electron gas in the GaAs-AlGaAsheterojunction is computed as a function of electric field and magnetic field.  相似文献

Using trial equation method, abundant exact envelope traveling wave solutions of high-order dispersive cubic-quintic nonlinear Schr6dinger equation, which include envelope soliton solutions, triangular function envelope solutions, and Jacobian elliptic function envelope solutions, are obtained. To our knowledge, all of these results are new. In particular, our proposed method is very simple and can be applied to a lot of similar equations.  相似文献

This paper investigates structure equation and Mei conserved quantity of Mei symmetry of Appell equations for non-Chetaev nonholonomic systems. Appell equations and differential equations of motion for non-Chetaev nonholonomic mechanical systems are established. A new expression of the total derivative of the function with respect to time t along the trajectory of a curve of the system is obtained, the definition and the criterion of Mei symmetry of Appell equations under the infinitesimal transformations of groups are also given. The expressions of the structure equation and the Mei conserved quantity of Mei symmetry in the Appell function are obtained. The approximate direct reduction method is applied to the perturbed mKdV equation with weak fourth order dispersion and weak dissipation. The similarity reduction solutions of different orders conform to formal coherence, accounting for infinite series reduction solutions to the original equation and general formulas of similarity reduction equations. Painlevé II type equations, hyperbolic secant and Jacobi elliptic function solutions are obtained for zero-order similarity reduction equations. Higher order similarity reduction equations are linear variable coefficient ordinary differential equations.  相似文献
