Zusammenfassung Es wird die Bildung stabiler Sulfoniumylide durch Kondensation verschiedener Sulfoxide mit diversen stark C-H-aciden Verbindungen beschrieben.

The formation of stable sulfonium ylides by condensation of sulfoxides with various strongly C-H-acidic compounds is described.

     

Übergangsmetall-Carbin-Komplexe LXXXVII. Synthese neuer, thermisch stabiler, kationischer Diethylaminocarbin-Komplexes des wolframs

trans-I(CO)₂L₂WCNEt₂ complexes (L₂ = 2,2′-bipyridyl (2,2′-bipy); 1,10-phenanthroline (ophen)) react with PR₃ (R = Me, Et) and thus undergo substitution of the iodine ligand by the phosphine to yield the new, thermostable, cationic carbyne complexes, [(PR₃)(CO)₂L₂WCNEt₂]⁺ I⁻. The ionic character of the compounds has been established from electrical conductivity studies of their solutions. Spectroscopic investigations of the complexes, whose composition has been determined by elemental analysis, indicate that in this reaction the halogen ligand in the trans position has been displaced by the chelate ligand, while the phosphine ligand occupies a cis coordination site, relative to carbyne moiety.

Zusammenfassung Ein neuer, sehr empfindlicher Nitritnachweis wird beschrieben, der auf der Umsetzung des Nitrits mit Antipyrin in Gegenwart von Kaliumchromat beruht. Die Reaktion verläuft auch bei Anwesenheit nahezu sämtlicher anderen Anionen — einschließlich Jodid — störungsfrei. Im letzteren Falle muß allerdings ein etwas abgewandeltes Verfahren angewendet werden.

Summary Nitrite can be identified by using the reaction with antipyrine in presence of potassium chromate. This very sensitive test is not influenced by almost all other anions, only the presence of iodide requires a modified technique.

Zusammenfassung Die Reaktion zwischen Kupfersalzen und Thioharnstoff wird zum Nachweis des letzteren benützt und speziell auf die Untersuchung von Kunstharzen angewendet. Ein in manchen Fällen notwendiger Aufschluß des Analysenmaterials wird beschrieben. Die verhältnismäßig hohe Erfassungsgrenze von 10 wird bei der Entscheidung, ob Thioharnstoff als Beimengung oder Verunreinigung vorliegt, ausgewertet.

Summary The reaction between copper salts and thio-urea is used for the detection of the latter, especially for the analysis of synthetic resins. It is necessary, sometimes, to decompose the sample; this decomposition is described. Owing to the fact that the limit of identification is comparatively high (10) it is possible to decide whether thio-urea is present as an admixture or a contamination.

Résumé La réaction des sels de cuivre avec la thio-urée est appliquée à déceler celle-ci et on l'emploie particulièrement à l'examen des résines artificielles. Il faut quelquefois, avant l'analyse, que l'on soumette la matière à une désintégration, qui est décrite. La sensibilité limite de 10 — chiffre relativement élevé — est utilisée pour décider si la thio-urée est présente comme ingrédient ou comme impureté.
