采用非相干光作为光源,以平面镜为反射面,对光纤位移 振动传感器的性能进行研究。推导出光纤输出功率与测量距离的解析表达式,并详细探讨了不同光纤半径、光纤数值孔径、发射光纤和接收光纤间距、发射光纤和接收光纤轴线夹角下输出功率比与测量距离之间的内禀关系。仿真结果表明:光纤半径越小,光纤间距越大,可以测试的距离范围越小;光纤数值孔径、光纤轴线夹角越小,可以测试的距离范围越小。通过分析不同情况下,输出功率比随测量距离变化的关系,可以在实际工程应用中根据测量需要选择设计合适的传感器。此外,还对测量误差进行了分析,得到光纤轴线夹角越小,测量距离的范围越大,误差率越小,当光纤轴线夹角为0.25时,误差率约为1%。 相似文献

By studying the output characteristics of random type optical fiber displacement sensor and semicircular type optical fiber displacement sensor, a sensor of new structure was designed. Using the ratio of the two output signals as the output of the whole system, the measurement range was enlarged, the linearity was improved, and the errors of reflective and absorbent changing in target surface are automatically compensated. Meantime, an optical fiber sensor model of correcting static error and linearizing the output curve based on BP artificial neural network was set up. The intrinsic errors such as fluctuations in the light, circuit excursion, the intensity losses in the fiber lines and the additional losses in the receiving fiber caused by bends were eliminated. By discussing in theory and experiment, the error of nonlinear is 2.9%, the measurement range reaches to 3.0 mm and the relative accuracy is 2%. This kind of sensor offers such advantages as no electromagnetic interference, simple construction, high sensitivity, good accuracy and stability. 相似文献

Evanescent coupling between a side-polished single-mode optical fiber and a single-mode, pH-sensitive Langmuir-Blodgett overlay is used to demonstrate an intrinsic fiber-optic pH sensor. The sensor shows a wavelength sensitivity of 18.8 +/- 0.8 nm/pH and a transmission sensitivity of 9.7 +/- 0.8 dB/pH when operating at 750 nm. 相似文献

It makes use of two light-emitting diodes and of an appropriate electronic circuit that processes the signals and provides the readout on a display. A suitable probe for in vivo measurements was designed. Plastic fiber bundles are used in order to obtain probe flexibility and low price. Some of the optical, mechanical, thermal, and chemical tests performed on a polycarbonate optical fiber (Optipol) developed by BAYER AG are described in this paper. Allthe tests were mainly done in order to evaluate the performances of this optical fiber, looking for its application as light transmitter in Local Area Networks (LANs) and sensors manufacture in the automobile industry. Some sensors using this fiber are also described in this paper: one speedometer, one tachometer, and one magnetometer. The last two sensors are Faraday effect sensors and have been developed with polycrystalline Cd1-xMnx, Te. This low-cost Faraday rotator has been specially manufactured by the authors to be used in industrial applications. 相似文献
