Let G be a locally compact abelian group, let μ be a bounded complex-valued Borel measure on G, and let Tμ be the corresponding convolution operator on L1(G). Let X be a Banach space and let S be a continuous linear operator on X. Then we show that every linear operator Φ: XL1(G) such that ΦS=TμΦ is continuous if and only if the pair (S,Tμ) has no critical eigenvalue.  相似文献

The authors aim at presenting several (presumably new) classes of linear, bilinear, and mixed multilateral generating functions for some general systems of polynomials which are defined by means of a certain family of differential operators. Some of the generating functions considered here are associated with the Stirling numbers of the second kind. Given the distance of a contraction A to the kernel of a intertwining relation we estimate the minimal distance of contractive liftings of A to the kernel of the lifted intertwining relation. Related to a semigroup of operators on a metric measure space, we define and study pseudodifferential operators (including the setting of Riemannian manifolds, fractals, graphs etc.). Boundedness on L p for pseudodifferential operators of order 0 is proved. We mainly focus on symbols belonging to the class $S^{0}_{1,\delta}$ for δ∈[0,1). For the limit class $S^{0}_{1,1}$ , we describe some results by restricting our attention to the case of a sub-Laplacian operator on a Riemannian manifold.  相似文献

In this paper we study the convergence of some sequences of operators associated to the Aharonov and Berry’s superoscillating functions. The main tool to define the sequences of operators is the spectral theorem. In particular we discuss the case of sequences of unbounded self-adjoint operators on a Hilbert space. We apply our results to the case where T is the self-adjoint extension of the momentum operator with unbounded spectrum.  相似文献

We introduce a class of function algebras, that we call unimodular, and study Toeplitz operators on the Hardy spaces associated to representing measures on these algebras.We show that our class of function algebras is very extensive and that a number of important results for Toeplitz operators and their associated C*-algebras extend to the very general setting we consider. In this article we introduce a certain family of graded modules associated to a given module. These modules provide a natural extension of the notion of the associated graded ring of an ideal. We consider a class of C·0-contractions that is a generalization of the class of C·0-contractions with finite defect indices. Some results of Uchigama and Wu for C·0-contractions with finite defect indices are generalized: the lattices of hyperinvariant subspaces of such a contraction T is isomorphic to that of its Jordan model and is generated by subspaces of the form Ker ϕ(T) and Ran ϕ(T), where ϕ ∈ H. The form of the inverse to an isomorphism of the invariant subspace lattices given by an intertwining quasiaffinity is also studied. Next, for C·0-contractions in question, the characteristic disc related to the lattice of invariant subspaces is computed. In this paper we perform an explicit diagonalization of Hankel integral operators K (0), K (1), K (2),... It turns out that each of these operators has a simple purely absolutely continuous spectrum filling in the interval [?1, 1]. In this work we give extrapolation results on weighted Lebesgue spaces for weights associated to a family of operators. The starting point for the extrapolation can be the knowledge of boundedness on a particular Lebesgue space as well as the boundedness on the extremal case L . This analysis can be applied to a variety of operators appearing in the context of a Schrödinger operator (??Δ?+?V) where V satisfies a reverse Hölder inequality. In that case the weights involved are a localized version of Muckenhoupt weights.  相似文献
