In this paper, the modulation instability(MI), rogue waves(RWs) and conservation laws of the coupled higher-order nonlinear Schr?dinger equation are investigated. According to MI and the2?×?2 Lax pair, Darboux-dressing transformation with an asymptotic expansion method, the existence and properties of the one-, second-, and third-order RWs for the higher-order nonlinear Schr?dinger equation are constructed. In addition, the main characteristics of these solutions are discussed through some graphics, which are draw widespread attention in a variety of complex systems such as optics, Bose–Einstein condensates, capillary flow, superfluidity, fluid dynamics,and finance. In addition, infinitely-many conservation laws are established.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate a (2+1)-dimensional generalized Konopelchenko-Dubrovsky-Kaup-Ku-pershmidt equation. The lump waves, lumpoff waves, and rogue waves are presented based on the Hirota bilinear form of this equation. It is worth noting that the moving path as well as the appearance time and place of the lump waves are given. Moreover, the special rogue waves are considered when lump solution is swallowed by double solitons. Finally, the corresponding characteristics of the dynamical behavior are displayed.  相似文献

In this paper, the time fractional Fordy-Gibbons equation is investigated with Riemann-Liouville derivative. The equation can be reduced to the Caudrey-Dodd-Gibbon equation, Savada-Kotera equation and the Kaup-Kupershmidt equation, etc. By means of the Lie group analysis method, the invariance properties and symmetry reductions of the equation are derived. Furthermore, by means of the power series theory, its exact power series solutions of the equation are also constructed. Finally, two kinds of conservation laws of the equation are well obtained with aid of the self-adjoint method.  相似文献

As a continuation of our previous work, we improve some results on convergence of periodic KP traveling waves to solitary ones as the period goes to infinity. In addition, we present some qualitative properties of such waves, as well as nonexistence results, in the case of general nonlinearities. This paper presents an analytical investigation of the propagation of internal solitary waves in the ocean of finite depth. Using the multi-scale analysis and reduced perturbation methods, the integrodifferential equation is derived, which is called the intermediate long wave(ILW) equation and can describe the amplitude of internal solitary waves. It can reduce to the Benjamin–Ono equation in the deep-water limit, and to the Kd V equation in the shallow-water limit. Little attention has been paid to the features of integro-differential equations, especially for their conservation laws. Here,based on Hirota bilinear method, B?cklund transformations in bilinear form of ILW equation are derived and infinite number of conservation laws are given. Finally, we analyze the fission phenomenon of internal solitary waves theoretically and verify it through numerical simulation. All of these have potential value for the further research on ocean internal solitary waves.  相似文献

Cylindrical and spherical (nonplanar) solitary waves (SWs) and double layers (DLs) in a multi-ion plasma system (containing inertial positively as well as negatively charged ions, non-inertial degenerate electrons, and negatively charged static dust) are studied by employing the standard reductive perturbation method. The modified Gardner (MG) equation describing the nonlinear propagation of the dust ion-acoustic (DIA) waves is derived, and its nonplanar SWs and DLs solutions are numerically analyzed. The parametric regimes for the existence of SWs, which are associated with both positive and negative potential, and DLs which are associated with negative potential, are obtained. The basic features of nonplanar DIA SWs, and DLs, which are found to be different from planar ones, are also identified.  相似文献

By employing the reductive perturbation technique, the propagation of cylindrical and spherical ion acoustic solitary waves is studied in an unmagnetized dense relativistic plasma, consisting of relativistically degenerate electrons and cold fluid ions. A modified Korteweg-de-Vries equation is derived and its numerical solutions have been analyzed to identify the basic features of electrostatic solitary structures that may form in such a degenerate Fermi plasma. Different degrees of relativistic electron degeneracy are discussed and compared. It is found that increasing number density leads to decrease the amplitude the width of the ion acoustic solitary wave in both the cylindrical and spherical geometries. The relevance of the work to the compact astrophysical objects, particularly white dwarfs is pointed out.  相似文献

The Peregrine breather of order eleven(P_(11) breather) solution to the focusing one-dimensional nonlinear Schrdinger equation(NLS) is explicitly constructed here. Deformations of the Peregrine breather of order 11 with 20 real parameters solutions to the NLS equation are also given: when all parameters are equal to 0 we recover the famous P_(11) breather. We obtain new families of quasi-rational solutions to the NLS equation in terms of explicit quotients of polynomials of degree 132 in x and t by a product of an exponential depending on t. We study these solutions by giving patterns of their modulus in the(x; t) plane, in function of the different parameters.  相似文献

A modified Kadomtsev-Petviashvili(mKP) equation in(3+1) dimensions is presented.We reveal multiple front-waves solutions for this higher-dimensional developed equation,and multiple singular front-wave solutions as well.The constraints on the coefficients of the spatial variables,that assure the existence of these multiple front-wave solutions are investigated.We also show that this equation fails the Pamlevi test,and we conclude that it is not integrable in the sense of possessing the Pain/eve property,although it gives multiple front-wave solutions.  相似文献

Under investigation in this work is the general coupled nonlinear Schrödinger (gCNLS) equation, which can be used to describe a wide variety of physical processes. By using Darboux transformation, the new higher-order rogue wave solutions of the equation are well constructed. These solutions exhibit rogue waves on a multi-soliton background. Moreover, the dynamics of these solutions is graphically discussed. Our results would be of much importance in enriching and predicting rogue wave phenomena arising in nonlinear and complex systems.  相似文献

Non-linear heavy ion-acoustic waves (HIAWs) are studied in a homogeneous magnetized four-component multi-ion plasma composed of inertial heavy negative ions, light positive ions, and inertia-less non-extensive electrons and positrons. The non-linear Schrödinger equation is derived in this model using the perturbation method. The criteria for modulational instability of HIAWs and the basic features of finite-amplitude heavy ion acoustic rogue waves (HIARWs) are investigated. The presence of the magnetic field was found to reduce the amplitude of HIARWs and enhances the stability. It is interesting to note that increasing positive ion mass causes decreases in the amplitude and width of rogue waves, which is opposite behaviour to that demonstrated in the previous study of these waves in an unmagnetized plasma. Furthermore, it is also shown that striking parameters, such as the non-extensive parameter, the positron number density, the electron number density, the electron temperature, and the magnetic field parameter, play an undeniable role on the stability of waves packets. The findings of the present investigation may be of wide relevance to some plasma environments, such as active galactic nuclei, pulsar magnetospheres, and other magnetic confinement systems.  相似文献

In the present paper, under investigation is a nonisospectral modified Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation, which is shown to have two Painleve branches through the Painleve analysis. With symbolic computation, two Lax pairs for such an equation are derived by applying the generalized singular manifold method. Furthermore, based on the two obtained Lax pairs, the binary Darboux transformation is constructed and then the N-th-iterated potential transformation formula in the form of Grammian is also presented.  相似文献

Wave properties of solitons in an unmagnetized four-component dusty plasma system contains isothermal distributed electrons, mobile ions, and negative-positive dusty grains have been examined. To study DIA wave properties, a reductive perturbation (RP) analysis is used. By a reductive perturbation (RP) analysis under convenient coordinate transformation, the three dimension Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation in cylindrical coordinates is obtained. The effects of dust grain charge on soliton pulse structures are studied. More specifically, solitary profile depending on the axial, radial, and polar angle coordinates with time is discussed. Using the reductive perturbation method,we investigate the small amplitude nonlinear acoustic wave in a collisional self-gravitating dusty plasma.The result shows that the small amplitude dust acoustic wave can be expressed by a modified Korteweg-de Vries equation,and the nonlinear wave is instable because of the collisions between the neutral gas molecules and the charged particles.  相似文献
