The ground state angular distributions of the reactions 9Be(p, α)6Li and 11B(p, α)8Be are analyzed by means of the DWBA theory. One-step direct mechanisms only are considered, but for both reactions the inclusion of the heavy-particle pick-up is found to be essential. DWBA fits to the data are obtained (a) in the zero-range approximation, (b) in the “fixed-range” approximation and (c) by an exact finite-range calculation. Only the latter method yields both an acceptable fit and reasonable values for the spectroscopic factors.  相似文献

A ‘reactive’ two-state curve-crossing study is presented. The exact numerical results are compared with those obtained by applying various types of DWBA and the Landau-Zener approximation. It was found that a DWBA based on the uniform Airy functions correctly predicts the structure of the transition probability function (mainly the positions of the maxima and the minima) for all cases considered here. The Landau-Zener approximation was found to be equal to the various DWBA's for small coupling terms (except for low collision energies), but superior for large coupling terms.  相似文献

The applicability of the modified kinematic approximation for simulation of the specular reflection and the diffraction of a neutron beam from regularly ordered nanostructured objects on the surface and in the surface material layer is analyzed. The obtained results are compared with those of the real experiment and simulation of the distorted-wave Born approximation (DWBA). The influence of various factors on the obtained results is analyzed. These factors include the effect of neutron-wave refraction at the interfaces between media, the spectrometer-resolution function, and renormalization of the results for a nonspecular scattering signal based on data obtained for a specular channel. It is shown that, in many cases, it is possible to obtain rather good agreement with the experimental data and with the results of calculations using DWBA methods and of calculations using the Parratt algorithm.  相似文献

A new approach, the distorted wave pole approximation (DWPA) with the three-body Coulomb effects, is developed by combining the dispersion method and DWBA to analyse the heavy ion-induced neutron transfer reactions. The influence of the three-body Coulomb dynamics on the peripheral partial wave amplitudes is investigated. Differential cross sections of the neutron transfer reactions are calculated to compare the proposed model with the conventional DWBA. The values of nuclear vertex constants for virtual separation of neutron from various nuclei are obtained. The results of the calculations show that DWPA can be applied to analyse the heavy ion-induced neutron transfer reactions and that the three-body Coulomb effects are taken into account with acceptable accuracy in DWBA.  相似文献

In order to describe charge exchange reactions at intermediate energies,we implemented as a first step the formulation of the normal eikonal approach.The calculated differential cross-sections based on this approach deviated significantly from the conventional DWBA calculations for CE reactions at 140 MeV/nucleon.Thereafter,improvements were made in the application of the eikonal approximation so as to keep a strict three-dimensional form factor.The results obtained with the improved eikonal approach are in good agreement with the DWBA calculations and with the experimental data.Since the improved eikonal approach can be formulated in a microscopic way,it is easy to apply to CE reactions at higher energies,where the phenomenological DWBA is a priori difficult to use due to the lack,in most cases,of the required phenomenological potentials.  相似文献

Data for the (d, 6Li) reaction on targets of 24Mg, 26Mg and 28Si have been obtained at 35 MeV bombarding energy. Angular distributions were measured for low-lying states in the residual nuclei. Zero-range distorted-wave Born approximation (DWBA) calculations have been used to analyze the data. The DWBA calculations account for the shapes of the experimental distributions reasonably well. The observation of significant population of unnatural parity states implies, however, that other transfer mechanisms may be important. The experimental spectroscopic factors are in qualitative agreement with those obtained from SU(3) theory.  相似文献

The standard distorted wave Born approximation(DWBA) method has been extended to second-order Born amplitude in order to describe the multiple interactions between the projectile and the atomic target.Second-order DWBA calculations have been preformed to investigate the triple differential cross sections(TDCS) of coplanar doubly symmetric(e,2e) collisions for the alkali target potassium at excess energies of 6 eV-60 eV.Compared with the previous first-order DWBA calculations,the present theoretical model improves the degree of agreement with experiments,especially for the backward scattering angle region of TDCS.This indicates that the present second-order Born term is capable of giving a reasonable correction to the DWBA model in studying coplanar symmetric(e,2e) problems in low and intermediate energy ranges.  相似文献

本文详细介绍计算电子碰撞激发散射截面的扭曲波玻恩近似(DWBA)理论模型,并对低能DWBA模型进行修正。利用修正的DWBA模型计算了电子碰撞激发氢原子和氦离子1s-2s 和1s-2p的散射微分截面。将关于氢原子由基态到n=2态的电子碰撞激发散射微分截面与绝对实验测量数据比较,发现二者符合得很好,这验证了我们对DWBA修正的正确性。本文工作为拟合强场诱导的氦原子非序列双电离关联电子动量谱提供了有效的理论方法。  相似文献

Results of the sudden approximation are compared to predictions of the conventional DWBA and to experiment. The asymptotic spectroscopic amplitude obtained by the sudden approximation is interpreted as the maximum limit of its true value. The main approximations of the model are asserted to stem from violations of the completeness of the virtual neutron wavefunctions and the crude application of the sudden approximation. A modified semiclassical exchange (MSCE) potential has been used in the distorted wave born approximation (DWBA) to calculate the triple differential cross-section (TDCS) for He(1s2) at 64.6 and 74.6 eV incident electron energies in non-coplanar symmetric geometry. The triple differential cross sections of the 2p electron of argon in a coplanar highly asymmetric geometry have been calculated with the modified distorted wave Born approximation (DWBA) and the target Hartree-Fock approximation methods. The damping polarization of the semi-classical short-range potentials and the Mee factor are included in the distorting potentials of the modified DWBA. Theoretical results are compared with a recent experiment. The dynamic mechanism of inner shell ionization in a coplanar highly asymmetric geometry (e, 2e) reaction are also discussed.  相似文献

Angular distributions for deuteron-16O elastic scattering and the 16O(d, p)17O reaction leading to levels with Ex = 0.0, 0.87, and 5.08 MeV have been measured at energies of 25.4, 36.0 and 63.2 MeV. The elastic deuteron data have been fit with a standard spin one optical model potential to obtain parameters for use in a DWBA analysis of the (d, p) data. The potential found in the search is shown to be consistent with other data taken in the range from 25 to 82 MeV. In addition to this deuteron optical potential, an adiabatic deuteron potential, which includes the effects of deuteron breakup, was used in the DWBA analysis. The neutron form factor was selected independent of the width of any state. The mean square radius, a single particle property, is used to find the well parameters and it determines the width of the single particle state. The spectroscopic factors obtained for the ground and first excited states are between 0.8 and 1.0 and are consistent with a large single particle parentage for these states and lower energy data. The width extracted from the DWBA analysis of the 5.08 MeV unbound state was 20% less than that obtained from elastic neutron scattering to the same state, possibly pointing up some difficulties with DWBA procedures commonly used. The adiabatic deuteron potential yields spectroscopic factors that are energy independent to 20% and gives satisfactory calculated angular distribution shapes for angles less than 40°. The conventional deuteron potential gives less satisfactory calculated shapes with the consequent introduction of some ambiguity in the derived spectroscopic factors.  相似文献

Previous work showing that there exists an exact formulation of the DWBA for stripping in the S-wave, separable potential, three-body model of Mitra is discussed and extended. The one-body equation obeyed by the c.m. wave function used in the reformulated DWBA is derived and compared with the equation obeyed by the wave function used in the standard formulation of DWBA, viz., the deuteron elastic scattering wave function. Results obtained by other workers on application of three-body methods to direct reactions are discussed in light of the fact that an exact DWBA exists for the separable potential model.  相似文献

Heavy-ion reactions with two-nucleon transfer are studied within the framework of the distorted wave Born approximation (DWBA) calculations. The bound-states of the transferred particle with the core nucleus forming the projectile or target and residual nuclei are represented by a Yukawa potential. The calculated differential cross-sections are in good agreement with the experimental data. The study exhibits the important contributions of the J-dependent potential in reproducing thelarge-angle oscillatory structures of two-nucleon transfer reactions.  相似文献
