Differential modules over a commutative differential ring which are projective as ring modules, with differential homomorphisms, form an additive category. Every projective ring module is shown occurs as the underlying module of a differential module. Differential modules, projective as ring modules, are shown to be direct summands of differential modules free as ring modules; those which are differential direct summands of differential direct sums of the ring being induced from the subring of constants. Every differential module finitely generated and projective as a ring module is shown to have this form after a faithfully flat finitely presented differential extension of the base. 相似文献

Summary
In the present paper those formally hyperbolic differential equations are characterized for which solutions can be represented by means of differential operators acting on holomorphic functions. This is done by a necessary and sufficient condition on the coefficients of the differential equation. These operators are determined simultaneously. By it a general procedure is presented to construct differential equations and corresponding differential operators which map holomorphic functions onto solutions of the differential equations. We also discuss the question under which circumstances all the solutions of a differential equation can be represented by differential operators. For the equations characterized previously we determine the Riemann function. Some special classes of differential equations are investigated in detail. Furthermore the possibility of a representation of pseudoanalytic functions and the corresponding Vekua resolvents by differential operators is discussed.

This paper introduces the notion of mixed leadership in nonzero-sum differential games, where there is no fixed hierarchy in decision making with respect to the players. Whether a particular player is leader or follower depends on the instrument variable s/he is controlling, and it is possible for a player to be both leader and follower, depending on the control variable. The paper studies two-player open-loop differential games in this framework, and obtains a complete set of equations (differential and algebraic) which yield the controls in the mixed-leadership Stackelberg solution. The underlying differential equations are coupled and have mixed-boundary conditions. The paper also discusses the special case of linear-quadratic differential games, in which case solutions to the coupled differential equations can be expressed in terms of solutions to coupled Riccati differential equations which are independent of the state trajectory. 相似文献

We obtain differential-algebraic analogues of some basic theorems of real algebra and semialgebraic geometry. Proofs are based on: a differential version of the real spectrum of a differential ring containing Q; an Artin-Schreier theory for such rings; the model theory of ordered differential fields. Results include: an algebraic characterization of the differential inequalities which are consequences of a given finite set of algebraic differential equations and inequalities; a differential counterpart of the Hormander-Lojasiewicz inequality. 相似文献

In this paper, we propose algorithms for computing differential Chow forms for ordinary prime differential ideals which are given by characteristic sets. The algorithms are based on an optimal bound for the order of a prime differential ideal in terms of a characteristic set under an arbitrary ranking, which shows the Jacobi bound conjecture holds in this case. Apart from the order bound, we also give a degree bound for the differential Chow form. In addition, for a prime differential ideal given by a characteristic set under an orderly ranking, a much simpler algorithm is given to compute its differential Chow form. The computational complexity of the algorithms is single exponential in terms of the Jacobi number, the maximal degree of the differential polynomials in a characteristic set, and the number of variables. 相似文献

The aim of this paper is the representation of solutions of systems of formally hyperbolic differential equations of second order. I. N.Vekua gave a representation of the solutions using the Riemann-matrix-function. Here we introduce special differential operators which map holomorphic functions into the set of solutions. An existence theorem for such operators is proved which gives a necessary and sufficient condition on the coefficients of a system. These operators are represented explicitly and several properties of them are investigated. We give different representations of the solutions of such systems and discuss the relation between the integral operator method and the method using differential operators which leads to an explicit representation of the Riemann-matrix-function by means of the differential operators. The existence of a continuum of many chaotic solutions is shown for certain differential inclusions which are small periodic multivalued perturbations of ordinary differential equations possessing homoclinic solutions to hyperbolic fixed points. Applications are given to dry friction problems. Singularly perturbed differential inclusions are investigated as well.

In this article, we discuss the equivalence of two differential systems by using the method of reflecting functions. We obtain some necessary and sufficient conditions under which certain differential equations are equivalent. Given these results, new types of differential systems equivalent to the given systems can be found. We also discussed the qualitative behavior of the periodic solutions of such differential systems. These results are new, in the sense that they generalize previous discussions on the equivalence of differential systems. 相似文献

The method for constructing first integrals and general solutions of nonlinear ordinary differential equations is presented. The method is based on index accounting of the Fuchs indices, which appeared during the Painlevé test of a nonlinear differential equation. The Fuchs indices indicate us the leading members of the first integrals for the origin differential equation. Taking into account the values of the Fuchs indices, we can construct the auxiliary equation, which allows to look for the first integrals of nonlinear differential equations. The method is used to obtain the first integrals and general solutions of the KdV‐Burgers and the mKdV‐Burgers equations with a source. The nonautonomous first integrals in the polynomials form are found. The general solutions of these nonlinear differential equations under at some additional conditions on the parameters of differential equations are also obtained. Illustrations of some solutions of the KdV‐Burgers and the mKdV‐Burgers are given. 相似文献

One of the main problems in the theory of orthogonal polynomials in several variables is the determination of partial differential equations which have the given polynomials as their solutions. In this note, we consider partial differential equations which are two-dimensional generalizations of the classical differential equation for the Chebyshev polynomials in one variable and we will give conditions for its polynomial solutions. In addition, we will be able to determine all polynomials of a given class which are solutions of the partial differential equation under consideration.
