利用非相干光纤激光组束技术可以获得激光加工和光学制造的高功率光源。传输透镜及衍射光栅是决定组束系统效率的关键部件,通过理论分析和数值仿真,结果表明透镜焦距25cm、光栅频率200mm-1对组束系统是较为合适的。在此条件下,组束系统的平均衍射效率可以达到52.96%,输出功率可以达到千瓦量级。  相似文献

Efficient power scaling of laser radiation by spectral beam combining   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
The possibility of achieving multikilowatt laser radiation by spectrally combining beams using volume Bragg gratings (VBGs) is shown. The VBGs recorded in a photothermorefractive glass exhibit long-term stability of all its parameters in high-power laser beams with power density >1 MW/cm2 in the cw beam of total power on a kilowatt level. We consider an architecture-specific beam-combining scheme and address the cross-talk minimization problem based on optimal channel positioning. Five-channel high efficiency spectral beam combining resulted in a >750 W near-diffraction-limited cw beam has been demonstrated experimentally.  相似文献

报道了千瓦级激光二极管面阵抽运固体热容激光器的理论与实验研究,分别采用Nd∶YAG单板条和双板条串接的热容激光器,利用热容激光器的理论计算模型计算了在一定的工作时间内激光输出特性,并进行了实验验证。实验中采用的晶体尺寸均为59mm×40mm×4.5mm,对单板条进行抽运时平均功率大约为5.6kW,双板条串接时为11.2kW,重复频率为1kHz,占空比为20%。实验中观察了1s的工作时间内脉冲能量输出的波动情况,单板条时单脉冲能量输出最大为1.3J,在1 s后单脉冲能量输出下降到开始的70%左右,而双板条串接时单脉冲能量输出最大为2.06J,在1s后单脉冲能量输出下降到开始的50%左右,对单块晶体采用通水冷却的准热容热管理模式能有效地降低其热效应。  相似文献

提高非相干光纤激光组束功率需要较高的光栅衍射效率,通过理论分析和数值仿真,结果表明光栅衍射效率对组束中心波长不敏感,而随着组束波长带宽的增大而急剧减小。为了增加可参与组束的光纤激光器数目,同时确保较高的光栅衍射效率,应将光栅频率f控制在200~400mm-1,光栅厚度t在1~2mm,理论上可以获得10kW量级的组束激光。  相似文献

报道了一台LD端面抽运Nd:YAG晶体内腔三倍频355 nm激光高效率、高峰值功率准连续输出的全固态紫外激光器.激光腔采用紧凑型平平直腔,腔长仅106 mm.当注入抽运功率为5.73 W、重复频率为9 kHz时,获得163 mW的355 nm激光准连续输出,光光转换效率达到最高2.84%.当注入抽运功率为6.7 W重复频率为5 kHz时,获得最高174 mW的355 nm激光准连续输出,输出功率短期不稳定性为5%,光束质量因子M2为3.79.当注入抽运功率为5.73 W、重复频率为2 kHz时,获得112 mW的355 nm激光准连续输出,峰值功率最高达到9.15 kW.通过采用内腔倍频技术和设计合理的腔结构,实现了中小功率准连续输出的全固态紫外激光器的小型化、便携化,进一步拓宽了紫外激光器的应用领域. 关键词: LD端面抽运 内腔三倍频 Q')" href="#">声光调Q 紫外激光  相似文献

Efficient and tunable diode-pumped femtosecond Yb:glass lasers   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Diode-pumped Yb:phosphate and Yb:silicate glass lasers have been passively mode locked for the first time to the authors' knowledge. Reliable self-starting mode locking without critical cavity alignment has been achieved with intracavity semiconductor saturable-absorber mirrors and soliton mode locking. We generated pulses as short as 58 fs with the Yb:phosphate laser and 61 fs with the Yb:silicate laser at average output powers of 65 and 53 mW, respectively. The pulse repetition rate was 112 MHz. Additionally, we demonstrated tunability of femtosecond pulses from 1025 to 1065 nm for the Yb:phosphate and from 1030 to 1082 nm for the Yb:silicate glasses. The highest mode-locked output power was 405 mW, with 183-fs pulses from the phosphate glass. The diode pump power was 1.68 W, corresponding to 24% optical-to-optical efficiency. The highest cw output power was 510 mW at the same incident pump power.  相似文献

为了避免高功率光纤激光器中光纤端面出现热效应问题,依据多点级联结构的耦合器,对分布式抽运的光纤激光器进行了研究。首先,介绍了实验室自主研制的级联耦合器。然后,分析了耦合器插入对光纤激光器的影响。最后,选用自制的耦合器搭建了分布式抽运的光纤激光器。实验结果表明:对耦合器插入损耗的研究,能够促进高功率级联耦合器的实现。在光纤激光器结构中,975 nm泵浦功率注入1.1 k W时,1 080nm激光功率输出为770 W,光-光转换效率为77%。在主控振荡功率放大结构中,激光功率输出为635 W,放大级的光-光转换效率为78%。分布式抽运方式可以使泵浦光多点注入,避免了热量的集中,能够获得千瓦级的激光功率输出。  相似文献

A high average power, high-repetition-rate TEA CO2 laser employing printed-circuit-board preionizer is described. The power scaling of this preionization configuration has been demonstrated. The average output power reaches 3.6 kW at pulse repetition rate of 180 pps. Furthermore, the scaling-up ability of the rotating spark gap as high-voltage switch for high-average-power gas laser has been validated.  相似文献

We demonstrate a kilowatt level Quasi-continuous-wave (QCW) diode-side-pumped Nd:YAG ceramic laser at 1064 nm. The laser system adopts a master oscillator power amplifier scheme (MOPA). The master oscillator contains two diode-pumped laser modules. Under the pump power of 2000 W, an output power of 686 W was obtained. After amplified by an identical ceramic laser module, a maximum output power of 1020 W was obtained under a total incident pump power of 3433 W, corresponding to an optical-optical conversion efficiency of 29.7%. At the maximal output power, the repetition frequency was measured to be 1 kHz and the pulse width was 114 μs. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first time to realize QCW side-pumped Nd:YAG ceramic laser system with output power above 1 kW.  相似文献

A Tm-doped large mode area (LMA) silica fiber laser has been locked to a stable wavelength of 2,053.9 nm using a volume Bragg grating (VBG). The measured spectral width of the laser output was <300 pm, limited by the spectrometer resolution. Although this laser had modest output (approximately 5W) and slope efficiency (41%), this new approach to spectrally limiting the output of LMA fiber lasers is inherently extendable to kilowatt powers, opening up several applications including high-power pulsed fiber lasers and spectral beam combining. Performance characteristics of the laser compared to one using a dielectric mirror as a high reflector are described, and the results imply low VBG losses.  相似文献

An innovation in CuBr laser excitation causes a significant increase of the output power and laser efficiency. The novel electrical circuitry consists of two interacting peaking circuits. A comparison of the operation parameters between an ordinary-circuitry (OC) excited CuBr laser and the novel-circuitry (interacting peaking circuits, IPC) excited CuBr laser is made. An efficiency of 1.45% at 17.4 W average output of the IPC CuBr laser is obtained.  相似文献

The effects of inert gas additives on the laser output power in the HeZn hollow cathode laser are investigated. The increase of nearly 50% in the laser power at 7588 Å has been observed when a small amount of xenon was mixed into the HeZn hollow cathode discharge tube. The mechanisms of the enhancement of the 7588 Å laser output by the addition of xenon are discussed.  相似文献
