Synchrotron X-ray single crystal structure determination of two 2D Hofmann-related compounds, [Ni(p-Xylyenediamine)n-tetracyanonickelate] (abbreviated as Ni-pXdam) and [Ni(tetrafluoro-p-Xylyenediamine)n-tetracyanonickelate] (abbreviated as Ni-pXdamF4), have been conducted. Both the pXdam and pXdamF4 ligands contain two short chains of -CH2NH2 at the para-positions of a phenyl ring. These flexible chains link the 6-fold coordinated Ni2 sites throughout the network. In Ni-pXdam, the closed-2D network of [Ni-(CN-Ni1/4-)4] is broken into 1D chains, leaving the C≡N groups at the trans-positions of the Ni(CN)4 moiety unbridged. The resulting 1D chains [(trans-)-NC-Ni(CN)2-CN-Ni-] runs along the [010] direction of the unit cell. The pXdam ligands bridge in pair between the Ni atoms of the adjacent chains. The catenation structure of [Ni{(pXdam)}] could be referred to as double -1D. In Ni-pXdamF4, the -CH2NH2 ligands connect the neighboring chains via the 6-fold Ni2 site. Surrounding the 4-fold Ni1 site, the two trans terminal C≡N groups were replaced by the Lewis base NH3 during the synthesis process, therefore preventing the propagation of the 2D net to form a 3D network. Computed pore volume of both compounds indicated that there is not sufficient space in the structure to accommodate gas molecules. In both compounds, hydrogen bonds were found, and solvent of crystallization was absent due to the limited free space in the structure.  相似文献

On the Crystal Structures of the Cyano Complexes [Co(NH3)6][Fe(CN)6], [Co(NH3)6]2[Ni(CN)4]3 · 2 H2O, and [Cu(en)2][Ni(CN)4] Of the three title compounds X‐ray structure determinations were performed with single crystals. [Co(NH3)6][Fe(CN)6] (a = 1098.6(6), c = 1084.6(6) pm, R3, Z = 3) crystallizes with the CsCl‐like [Co(NH3)6][Co(CN)6] type structure. [Co(NH3)6]2[Ni(CN)4]3 · 2 H2O (a = 805.7(5), b = 855.7(5), c = 1205.3(7) pm, α = 86.32(3), β = 100.13(3), γ = 90.54(3)°, P1, Z = 1) exhibits a related cation lattice, the one cavity of which is occupied by one anion and 2 H2O, whereas the other contains two anions parallel to each other with distance Ni…Ni: 423,3 pm. For [Cu(en)2][Ni(CN)4] (a = 650.5(3), b = 729.0(3), c = 796.5(4) pm, α = 106.67(2), β = 91.46(3), γ = 106.96(2)°, P1, Z = 1) the results of a structure determination published earlier have been confirmed. The compound is weakly paramagnetic and obeys the Curie‐Weiss law in the range T < 100 K. The distances within the complex ions of the compounds investigated (Co–N: 195.7 and 196.4 pm, Ni–C: 186.4 and 186.9 pm, resp.) and their hydrogen bridge relations are discussed.  相似文献

Summary The new complex double saltscw-[Co(NH3)(en)2(H2O)]2 [M(CN)4]3 (en = ethylenediamine; M = Ni, Pd or Pt),cis-[Co(NH3(en)2(H2O)]2[FeNO(CN)5]3 andcis-[Co(NH3)(en)2(H2O)][Co(CN)6] have been synthesized and by anation in the solid state the corresponding new dinuclear complexes with a cyano bridgecis- ortrans-[(NH3)(en)2Co-NC-M(CN)3]2 [M(CN)4] (M = Ni, Pd or Pt);cis-, trans-[(NH3)(en)2Co-NC-FeNO(CN)4]2[FeNO(CN)5] andcis-[(NH3)(en)2Co-NC-Co(CN)5 have been prepared. The complexes have been characterized by chemical analysis, t.g. measurements, and by i.r. and electronic spectroscopy. With [Ni(CN)4][2– and [Co(CN)in]6 3– only thecis-isomer is produced; with [Pd(CN)4]2–, [Pt(CN)4]2– and [FeNO(CN)5]2– thetrans- isomer is the dominant species. The dinuclear complex derived from [Pt(CN)4]2– shows strong Pt-Pt interactions both in the solid state and in solution.  相似文献

The Structures of some Hexaammine Metal(II) Halides of 3 d Metals: [V(NH3)6]I2, [Cr(NH3)6]I2, [Mn(NH3)6]Cl2, [Fe(NH3)6]Cl2, [Fe(NH3)6]Br2, [Co(NH3)6]Br2 and [Ni(NH3)6]Cl2 Crystals of yellow [V(NH3)6]I2 and green [Cr(NH3)6]I2 were obtained by the reaction of VI2 and CrI2 with liquid ammonia at room temperature. Colourless crystals of [Mn(NH3)6]Cl2 were obtained from Mn and NH4Cl in supercritical ammonia. Colourless transparent crystals of [Fe(NH3)6]Cl2 and [Fe(NH3)6]Br2 were obtained by the reaction of FeCl2 and FeBr2 with supercritical ammonia at 400°C. Under the same conditions orange crystals of [Co(NH3)6]Br2 were obtained from [Co2(NH2)3(NH3)6]Br3. Purple crystals of [Ni(NH3)6]Cl2 were obtained by the reaction of NiCl2 · 6H2O and NH4Cl with aqueous NH3 solution. The structures of the isotypic compounds (Fm3 m, Z = 4) were determined from single crystal diffractometer data (see “Inhaltsübersicht”). All compounds crystallize in the K2[PtCl6] structure type. In these compounds the metal ions have high-spin configuration. The orientation of the dynamically disordered hydrogen atoms of the ammonia ligands is discussed.  相似文献

Four new pseudohalide complexes of the type [NiL{N(CN)2}2] (L = N(CH2CH2NH2)3, TAA; triethylenetetramine, TTA) and [NiL{N(CN)2}]ClO4 have been prepared and characterized by spectroscopic and magnetic methods. The X-ray crystal structures of [Ni(TAA){N(CN)2}2] and [Ni(TTA){N(CN)2}2] have been determined, and analyses show that in both complexes the Ni ion posseses distorted octahedral geometry. The temperature dependence of the magnetic susceptibility of [Ni(TTA){N(CN)2}](ClO4) was measured, but no antiferromagnetic interaction was detected.  相似文献

The redox reaction between [Pt(NH3)4]2+ and [W(CN)8]3− in the presence of Cl anions in aqueous solution affords single crystals of [PtII(NH3)4]2[WIV(CN)8] and [PtIV(NH3)4Cl2]Cl2. Trapped cyano ligands of [W(CN)8]4− rectangular antiprisms of D2 point symmetry between parallel Pt(II) square planes show that the inner-sphere redox pathway is prohibited. The presence of Cl counterions enables the formation of [Pt(NH3)4Cl2]Cl2 as the product of the rare outer-sphere pathway of the oxidation of Pt(II) by [W(CN)8]3−.  相似文献

A template synthesis procedure yielded [Ni(HL1)NH3]I, where HL1 is the monoanion of the terdentate ONN benzoylacetone S-methylisothiosemicarbazone ligand. The reaction of this complex with an excess of NH4NCS, pyridine, or hydrazine resulted in the complexes [Ni(HL1)(NH3)NCS] and [Ni(L1)A] (A = Py, N2H4). The monoanionic form of the ligand is obtained by deprotonation of the enolic form of the benzoylacetone moiety, whereas the dianion is formed by additional deprotonation of the terminal NH2 group. Finally, the reaction of [Ni(HL1)NH3]I with salicyladehyde produced the NiL2 complex in which L2 stands for the dianion of the ONNO ligand N(1)-2-butylidene-4-oxo-4-phenyl-N(4)-salicylidene-S-methylisothiosemicarbazide. All complexes are diamagnetic and have a square-planar configuration, except for [Ni(HL1)(NH3)NCS], for which te data of i.r. spectra suggest a square-pyramidal structure. The electronic absorption spectra of the ethanolic solutions of all complexes are characteristic of typical square-planar coordination of nickel(II).  相似文献

Crystal Structures of Octacyanomolybdates(IV). IV Dodecahedral [Mo(CN)8] Coordination of the Cyano‐Bridged Cobalt and Nickel Ammin Complexes MII2(NH3)8[Mo(CN)8] · 1.5 H2O (MII = Co, Ni) and Ni2(NH3)9[Mo(CN)8] · 2 H2O At single crystals of the hydrated cyano complexes Co2(NH3)8[Mo(CN)8] · 1.5 H2O (a = 910.0(4), b = 1671(2), c = 1501(1) pm, β = 93.76(6)°) and Ni2(NH3)8[Mo(CN)8] · 1.5 H2O (a = 899.9(9), b = 1654.7(4), c = 1488(1) pm, β = 94.01°), isostructurally crystallizing in space group P21/c, Z = 4, and of trigonal Ni2(NH3)9[Mo(CN)8] · 2 H2O (a = 955.1(1), c = 2326.7(7) pm, P31, Z = 3), X‐ray structure determinations were performed at 168 resp. 153 K. The [Mo(CN)8]4– groups of the three compounds, prepared at about 275 K and easily decomposing, show but slightly distorted dodecahedral coordination (mean distances Mo–C: 216.3, 215.4 and 216.1 pm). Within the monoclinic complexes the anions twodimensionally form cyano bridges to the ammin cations [M(NH3)4]2+ and are connected with the resulting [MN6] octahedra (Co–N: 215.1 pm, Ni–N: 209.8 pm) into strongly puckered layers. The trigonal complex exhibits a chain structure, as one [Ni(NH3)5]2+ cation is only bound as terminal octahedron (Ni–N: 212.0 pm). Details and the influence of hydrogen bridges are discussed.  相似文献

The crystal structures of two square tetracyanocomplexes were determined. [Ni(dien)2][Ni(CN)4]·2H2O (NDNCH) and [Ni‐(dien)2][Pd(CN)4] (NDPC) (dien = diethylene triamine) exhibit ionic structures consisting of mer‐[Ni(dien)2]2+ cations and [Ni(CN)4]2‐ or [Pd(CN)4]2‐ anions, respectively. Moreover, the structure of NDNCH is completed by two water molecules of crystallisation. In both compounds hydrogen bonds contribute to the stabilisation of the structure. NDNCH dehydrates on air quickly yielding anhydrous [Ni(dien)2][Ni(CN)4] (NDNC). Its thermal decomposition proceeds in a complicated process followed by aerial oxidation of metallic nickel to NiO.  相似文献

Single crystals of [Zn(NH3)4]3[Mo4Te4(CN)12] (I) and [Cd(NH3)4]3[W4Te4(CN)12] (II) were obtained by applying solutions of K7[Mo4Te4(CN)12] · 11H2O and K6[W4Te4(CN)12] · 5H2O in aqueous ammonia over solutions of ZnCl2 and Cd(NO3)2 in glycerol and were characterized by X-ray diffraction analysis. From the reaction of uranium hexafluoride UF6 with dry liquid ammonia, the [UF7(NH3)]3? anion and the [UF4(NH3)4] molecule were isolated and identified for the first time. They are found in signal‐green crystals of trisammonium monoammine heptafluorouranate(IV) ammonia (1:1; [NH4]3[UF7(NH3)] ? NH3) and emerald‐green crystals of tetraammine tetrafluorouranium(IV) ammonia (1:1; [UF4(NH3)4] ? NH3). [NH4]3[UF7(NH3)] ? NH3 features discrete [UF7(NH3)]3? anions with a coordination geometry similar to a bicapped trigonal prism, hitherto unknown for UIV compounds. The emerald‐green [UF4(NH3)4] ? NH3 contains discrete tetraammine tetrafluorouranium(IV) [UF4(NH3)4] molecules. [UF4(NH3)4] ? NH3 is not stable at room temperature and forms pastel‐green [UF4(NH3)4] as a powder that is surprisingly stable up to 147 °C. The compounds are the first structurally characterized ammonia complexes of uranium fluorides.  相似文献

The infrared and diffuse reflectance spectra in the visible and ultraviolet region of the following compounds have been measured: Ni(CN)2, 2 H2O, Ni(CN)2, 1½ H2O, Ni(CN)2, NH3, ¼ H2O, Ni(CN)2, NH3, R (R = C6H6, C6H5NH2, C6H5OH). The structural units of these compounds are shown to be the square planar [NiC4] and the pseudo-octahedral [NiN4L2]-group (L = H2O, NH3) with Ni-C-N-Ni-bridges. Additional water is present as zeolitic water. The magnetic data give a 1:1 relation of the paramagnetic pseudo-octahedral to the diamagnetic square planar co-ordination polyhedra. The nitrogen of the cyanide ion is close to ammonia in the spectrochemical as well as in the nephelauxetic series, the values of Dq and B being ?1000 and ?900 cm?1 respectively. The absorption bands of the aromatic molecules in the clathrates are shifted towards lower wave numbers compared to the corresponding solution spectra.  相似文献

The double complex salts [Ni(NH3)6]3[Fe(CN)6]2 and [Ni(NH3)6]3[Cr(CNS)6]2 were synthesized and their thermal decomposition in air was studied. The values of interplanar distances in crystal lattices were determined. The compounds are proposed as precursors for producing homogeneous bimetallic nanodimensional powders.  相似文献

The time-dependent changes which are observed in the infrared and Raman spectra of samples of the two Hofmann aniline clathrates M(NH3)2Ni(CN)4.an2 {M = Cd(II), Ni(II), an = C6H5NH2} indicate the occurrence of a solid state ligand replacement reaction in which the aniline guest molecule replaces the coordinated ammonia to give Man2Ni(CN)4 as the final product. The rate of replacement is greater for the cadmium than for the nickel clathrate, and for both clathrates evacuation of the sample greatly increases the rate of replacement. The Man2Ni(CN)4 complexes can themselves act as host lattices forming clathrates containing guest molecules such as aniline.  相似文献

Interaction of the tetrahedral chalcocyanide cluster anionic complexes of Re, K4[Re4Q4(CN)12] (Q=S, Se, Te), with Ni2+ cationic complexes with polydentate amines, such as ethylenediamine (En), diethylenetriamine (Dien), or triethylenetetraamine (Trien) was used to synthesize six novel complexes: [Ni(NH3)4(En)][{Ni(NH3)(En)2}Re4Te4(CN)12] · 2H2O, [{Ni(En)2}2Re4Se4(CN)12] · 3.5H2O, [Ni(NH3)3(Dien)]2[Re4Se4(CN)12] · 5.5H2O, [{Ni(NH3)2(Dien)}2Re4Te4(CN)12] · 2.5H2O. [Ni(NH3)2(Trien)][{Ni(NH3)(Trien)}Re4Se4(CN)12] · 2.5H2O, [{Ni(Trien)}2Re4S4(CN)12] · 3H2O. The complexes were studied by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis.  相似文献

Structurally Chemical Investigation of Monoammin Copper (I) Complexes : [CuNH3]2[Pt(CN)6], [CuNH3]2[Pt(CN)4] and Cu3[Co(CN)6] · 2NH3 The preparation and the properties of [CuNH3]2[Pt(CN)6], [CuNH3]2[Pt(CN)4] and Cu3[Co(CN)6] · 2NH3 are described. I.R. and Raman spectra have been recorded and assigned. According to X-ray powder diagrams, [CuNH3]2[Pt(CN)6] crystallizes in the trigonal space group D–P3 ml, a = 7.771, c = 5.988 Å, Z = 1. According to the spectroscopic and crystallographic data, it is concluded that the CuI ion is coordinated with one NH3 group and with the N atoms of the cyanometallate anions. The coordination number of the Cu+ is 4 in [CuNH3]2[Pt(CN)6] and 3 in [CuNH3]2[Pt(CN)4]. In the Cu3[Co(CN)6] · 2 NH3 complex two Cu atoms have the coordination number 2, the third Cu atom 4.  相似文献

The Crystal Structures of (NH4)2[ReCl6], [ReCl2(CH3CN)4]2[ReCl6] · 2CH3CN and [ReCl4(18)(Crown-6)] Brown single crystals of (NH4)2[ReCl6] are formed by the reaction of NH4Cl with ReCl5 in a suspension of diethylether. [ReCl2(CH3CN)4]2[ReCl6] · 2CH3CN crystallizes as brown crystal plates from a solution of ReCl5 in acetonitrile. Lustrous green single crystals of [ReCl4(18-crown-6)] are obtained by the reaction of 18-crown-6 with ReCl5 in a dichloromethane suspension. All rhenium compounds are characterized by IR spectroscopy and by crystal structure determinations. (NH4)2[ReCl6]: Space group Fm3 m, Z = 4, 75 observed unique reflections, R = 0.01. Lattice constant at ?70°C: a = 989.0(1) pm. The compound crystallizes in the (NH4)2[PtCl6] type, the Re? Cl distance is 235.5(1) pm. [ReCl2(CH3CN)4]2[ReCl6] · 2CH3CN: Space group P1, Z = 1, 2459 observed unique reflections, R = 0.12. Lattice dimensions at ?60°C: a = 859.0(1), b = 974.2(7), c = 1287.3(7) pm, α = 102.69(5)°, b? = 105.24(7)°, γ = 102.25(8)°. The structure consists of two symmetry-independent [ReCl2(CH3CN)4]+ ions with trans chlorine atoms, [ReCl6]2? ions, and included acetonitrile molecules. In the cations the Re? Cl bond lengths are 233 pm in average, in the anion they are 235 pm in average. [ReCl4(18-crown-6)]: Space group P21/n, Z = 4, 3 633 observed unique reflections, R = 0.06. Lattice dimensions at ?70°C: a = 1040.2(4), b = 1794.7(5), c = 1090.0(5) pm, b? = 108.91(4)°. The compound forms a molecular structure, in which the rhenium atom is octahedrally coordinated by the four chlorine atoms and by two oxygen atoms of the crown ether molecule.  相似文献

[Yb(NH3)8][Yb(Pyr)6]: Electride Induced Synthesis and Crystallization from Liquid Ammonia Single crystalline yellow [Yb(NH3)8][Yb(Pyr)6] (Pyr? = pyrrolate anion, C4H4N?) was obtained by the reaction of ytterbium metal with pyrrole (C4H4NH) in liquid ammonia at ?35 °C. Significant excess of ammonia together with avoiding a pyrrole excess prevents formation of the molecular compound [Yb(Pyr)3(PyrH)2(NH3)2]. [Yb(NH3)8][Yb(Pyr)6] consists of two homoleptic ionic units and rapidly decomposes if removed from the ammonia atmosphere, viz. it shows an ammonia vapour pressure >1 bar.  相似文献

Spectroscopic Investigations of the Iron(II) Nitrosodicyanomethanide and Nitrosocarbamoylcyanomethanide Complexes [Fe(NOC(CN)2)2(C5H5N)4] and [Fe(NOC(CN)C(O)NH2)2(C5H5N)2] The syntheses of new iron(II) complexes of the nonlinear pseudohalides [NOC(CN)2]? and [NOC(CN)C(O)NH2]? is reported. The Structures of the compounds are discussed on the basis of IR, Mößbauer, 13C, and 14N NMR spectra as well as of the results of magnetic measurements.  相似文献
