An experimentally feasible scheme for implementing teleportation of multi-atom cat-like states in cavity QED is proposed. In the scheme the atoms interact simultaneously with a highly detuned cavity mode and are driven by a strong classical field, and the atomic state evolution is independent of cavity field state. Thus the scheme is insensitive to both the cavity decay and the thermal field, which is of importance from the experimental point of view. All the orthogonal and complete multi-atom GHZ states can be exactly distinguished only by one step, so our scheme can also be used for other purposes such as dense coding using multi-atom GHZ states as quantum channels.  相似文献

We propose a scheme to implement the Deutsch-Jozsa algorithm by using Schroedinger cat states in cavity quantum electron-dynamics (QED). The scheme is based on the Raman interaction of a degenerate three-level A-type atom with a coherent state in a cavity. By using Schroedinger cat states, the atomic spontaneous emission can be minimized and the Hadamard transformation in our scheme is not needed.  相似文献

In this paper, we propose a physical scheme to realize quantum SWAP gate by using a large-detuned single-mode cavity field and two identical Rydberg atoms. It is shown that the scheme can also be used to create multi-atom cluster state. During the interaction between atom and cavity, the cavity is only virtually excited and thus the scheme is insensitive to the cavity field states and cavity decay. With the help of our scheme it is very simple to prepare the N-atom cluster state with perfect fidelity and probability. The practical feasibility of this method is also discussed.  相似文献

We propose a simple scheme to not only generate GHZ states and W states of the multiparticle but also form a new category of multiparticle entangled states by letting the λ-type three-level atoms simultaneously interacting with a coherent cavity field followed by the selective measurements on the cavity mode. We investigate the influence of the cavity dissipation on the generated entangled state and discuss the experimental feasibility of our scheme. It is shown that the intensity of the coherent cavity field plays an instructive role in contribution to state preparation process while the cavity decay and the detuning between the atoms and cavity mode result in the deterioration of the generated entangled state.  相似文献

We propose a scheme for generating an N-atom cluster state via cavity quantum electrodynamics ( CQED). In our scheme, there is no transfer of quantum information between the atoms and the cavity, i.e., the cavity is always in the vacuum state, so the cavity decay can be suppressed. Also, the generated cluster state is the entanglement of the ground states, so the atomic spontaneous emission can be avoided. Therefore, the cluster state generated in our scheme has a longer lifetime. Furthermore, the requirement on the quality factor of the cavity greatly loosened for the cavity is only virtually excited.  相似文献

This paper proposes a scheme for implementing the teleportation of an arbitrary unknown two-atom state by using a cluster state of four identical 2-level atoms as quantum channel in a thermal cavity. The two distinct advantages of the present scheme are: (i) The discrimination of 16 orthonormal cluster states in the standard teleportation protocol is transformed into the discrimination of single-atom states. Consequently, the discrimination difficulty of states is degraded. (ii) The scheme is insensitive to the cavity field state and the cavity decay for the thermal cavity is only virtually excited when atoms interact with it. Thus, the scheme is more feasible.  相似文献

By using the theory of cavity QED, we study the system in which a two-level atom interacts with a cavity in the case of large detuning. Through the selective detecting of atomic state, Schrodinger cat states and entangled coherent states are easily generated. When the atom is driven by a weak classical field and the cavity field is in the Schrodinger cat state, we study the conditions of generating the Fock states and the maximal success probability. The maximal success probability in our scheme is larger than the previous one.  相似文献

A scheme is proposed for generating a three-atom maximal entanglement W state. It is based on the simultaneous nonresonant interaction of atoms with a single-mode cavity field. Our scheme is insensitive to the cavity field, so the cavity field in our scheme can be initially in thermal states.  相似文献

We present a scheme to prepare an optical “quantum switch”, a superposition of “open” and “closed” states. The scheme is based on the interaction of an Λ-type three-level atom with a single-mode of quantized cavity field and an external classical driving field, in the regime where the atom and fields are highly detuned. We show how this interaction can be used to generate coherent states of the cavity field in contrast to the usual method used in microwave cavity QED of injecting a coherent state into a cavity. A combination of switches could be used to prepare a quantum superposition of coherent field states located simultaneously in two cavities. Compared with previous proposals, our scheme is simplified due to economizes the Ramsey zone and the time required for the state generation is short.  相似文献

We propose an experimentally feasible scheme for preparing a four-atom cluster state in a thermal cavity. In the scheme, the cavity field is only virtually excited and the photon-number-dependent part in the effective Hamiltonian is cancelled so that the system is insensitive to the cavity decay and the thermal field. At the same time, the scheme can be generalized to prepare n-atom cluster states with the success probability 100\%. In addition, using the four-atom cluster state, we also propose a simpler scheme for implementing a remote--controlled not gate (CNOT) without the Bell states measurement.  相似文献

In Nie et al. (Int. J. Theor. Phys. 50: 2526, 2011), authors put forward a cavity QED scheme for deterministic quantum state sharing (QSTS) of an arbitrary two-atom state. They claimed that, the quantum channel of the QSTS scheme is a six-atom cluster state. After simple calculation, one can see that the quantum channel they used is a direct product of two three-atom GHZ states. In this paper, we propose a cavity QED scheme for QSTS of an arbitrary two-atom state via a six-atom cluster state channel. In our scheme, two two-atom Bell state measurements are transformed into the discrimination of single-atom product states. Moreover, the two-atom unitary operation is changed to single-qubit unitary operations. Our scheme is insensitive to the cavity decay. The necessary time for the scheme is much shorter than the Rydberg-atom lifespan, therefore atom decays do not need to be considered.  相似文献

We propose a scheme for the teleportation of an arbitrary two-atom state by using two pairs of two-atom nonmaximally entangled states as the quantum channel in cavity QED. It is Shown that no matter whether the arbitrary two-atom pure state to be teleported is entangled or not, our teleportation scheme can always be probabilistically realized. The success prohability of teleportation is determined by the smaller coemcients of the two initially entangled atom pairs.  相似文献

We propose a potential scheme of preparing Schrödinger-cat state of the cavity mode by placing an rf-superconducting quantum interference device (rf-SQUID) in a single-mode microwave cavity. By properly adjusting the detuning and the strength regarding the radiation fields, we show how to generate single-mode Schrödinger-cat state. Generalizing this method we discuss the generation of the engtangled coherent states. The experimental feasibility of our scheme is discussed under consideration of the cavity decay.  相似文献

We analyse a teleportation scheme of cavity field states. The experimental sketch discussed makes use of cavity quantum electrodynamics involving the interaction of Rydberg atoms with superconducting (micromaser) cavities as well as with classical microwave (Ramsey) cavities. In our scheme the Ramsey cavities and the atoms play the role of auxiliary systems used to teleport a field state, which is formed by a linear superposition of vacuum |∅〉 and the one-photon state |1〉, from a micromaser cavity to another.  相似文献

We propose an experimentally feasible protocol for implementing controlled dense coding with a six-atom cluster state in cavity QED. In the scheme, we investigate that the atoms interact simultaneously with the highly detuned single-mode cavity and the strong classical driving field, and thus our scheme is not sensitive to both the cavity decay and the thermal field. In addition, the four-atom entangled states can be exactly distinguished by performing the single-atom measurements in cavity QED, therefore our scheme might be implemented in a simple way.  相似文献

We propose a scheme for transferring of a two-mode entanglement of zero- or one-photon entangled states between two cavities via atom-cavity field resonant interaction. In our proposal, in order to transfer the entangled state, we only need two identical two-level atoms and a two-mode cavity for receiving the teleported state. This scheme does not require Bell-state measurement and performing any transformations to reconstruct the initial state. And the transfer can occur with 100% success probability in a simple manner. And a network for transferring of a two-mode entangled state between cavities is suggested. This scheme can also be extended to transfer N-mode entangled state of cavity.  相似文献

In the system with superconducting quantum interference devices (SQUIDs) in a cavity, we propose a scheme for simultaneous implementing n phase gates and one step preparing the highly entangled cluster states based on the two-channel Raman interaction. In our scheme, the system is independent to the photon number of the cavity field, the cavity field can be initially in an arbitrary state, which is convenient for the experimental operation. The n phase gates operation and the cluster state generation are realized by using only the two lower flux states of the SQUID and the excited state would not be excited so that the influence of the decoherence due to spontaneous emission of the SQUID’s levels is possible to minimize. More importantly, the operation time of the phase gates is independent of the number n of the qubits. Finally, the experimental feasibility is also discussed in detail.  相似文献
