Reactions of XeO2F2 with the strong fluoride ion acceptors, AsF5 and SbF5, in anhydrous HF solvent give rise to alpha- and beta-[XeO2F][SbF6], [XeO2F][AsF6], and [FO2XeFXeO2F][AsF6]. The crystal structures of alpha-[XeO2F][SbF6] and [XeO2F][AsF6] consist of trigonal-pyramidal XeO2F+ cations, which are consistent with an AXY2E VSEPR arrangement, and distorted octahedral MF6- (M = As, Sb) anions. The beta-phase of [XeO2F][SbF6] is a tetramer in which the xenon atoms of four XeO2F+ cations and the antimony atoms of four SbF6- anions are positioned at alternate corners of a cube. The FO2XeFXeO2F+ cations of [FO(2)XeFXeO2F][AsF6] are comprised of two XeO2F units that are bridged by a fluorine atom, providing a bent Xe- - -F- - -Xe arrangement. The angle subtended by the bridging fluorine atom, a xenon atom, and the terminal fluorine atom of the XeO2F group is bent toward the valence electron lone-pair domain on xenon, so that each F- - -XeO2F moiety resembles the AX(2)Y(2)E arrangement and geometry of the parent XeO2F2 molecule. Reaction of XeF6 with [H3O][SbF6] in a 1:2 molar ratio in anhydrous HF predominantly yielded [XeF5][SbF6].XeOF4 as well as [XeO2F][Sb2F11]. The crystal structure of the former salt was also determined. The energy-minimized, gas-phase MP2 geometries for the XeO2F+ and FO2XeFXeO2F+ cations are compared with the experimental and calculated geometries of the related species IO2F, TeO2F-, XeO2(OTeF5)+, XeO2F2, and XeO2(OTeF5)2. The bonding in these species has been described by natural bond orbital and electron localization function analyses. The standard enthalpies and Gibbs free energies for reactions leading to XeO2F+ and FO2XeFXeO2F+ salts from MF5 (M = As, Sb) and XeO2F2 were obtained from Born-Haber cycles and are mildly exothermic and positive, respectively. When the reactions are carried out in anhydrous HF at low temperatures, the salts are readily formed and crystallized from the reaction medium. With the exception of [XeO2F][AsF6], the XeO2F+ and FO2XeFXeO2F+ salts are kinetically stable toward dissociation to XeO2F2 and MF5 at room temperature. The salt, [XeO2F][AsF6], readily dissociates to [FO2XeFXeO2F][AsF6] and AsF5 under dynamic vacuum at 0 degree C. The decompositions of XeO2F+ salts to the corresponding XeF+ salts and O2 are exothermic and spontaneous but slow at room temperature.  相似文献

A family of spin-crossover (SC) complexes, [Fe(II)H(3)L(Me)]Cl.X (X(-) = PF(6) (-), AsF(6) (-), SbF(6) (-), CF(3)SO(3) (-)), 1-4, has been synthesized, in which H(3)L(Me) denotes the hexadentate N(6) tripod-like ligand tris[2-{[(2-methylimidazol-4-yl)methylidene]amino}ethyl]amine, containing three imidazole groups, with a view to establishing the effect of the counter anion on the SC behavior. These complexes have been found to crystallize in the same monoclinic crystal system with similar cell dimensions. The general crystal structure consists of a two-dimensional (2D) extended network constructed by NH...Cl- hydrogen bonds between Cl- and the imidazole NH groups of three neighboring [Fe(II)H(3)L(Me)]2+ ions, while the anion X exists as an isolated counter anion and occupies the space between the 2D sheets. Magnetic susceptibilities and M?ssbauer spectra have revealed a variety of SC behaviors depending on the counter anion, including a one-step HS<==>(HS + LS)/2 (1, X = PF(6) (-)), a two-step HS<==>(HS + LS)/2<==>LS with a slow thermal relaxation (2, X = AsF(6) (-)), a gradual one-step HS<==>LS (3, X = SbF(6) (-)), and a steep one-step HS<==>LS with hysteresis (4, X = CF(3)SO(3) (-)). The complexes assume the space group P2(1)/n in the HS state, P2(1) in the HS + LS state, and P2(1)/n in the LS state. The Fe-N bond lengths and the N-Fe-N bond angles are indicative of the HS, HS + LS, and LS states. The molecular volumes, V, of the counter anions have been evaluated by quantum-chemical calculations as follows: 53.4 A(3) (BF(4) (-)), 54.4 A(3) (ClO(4) (-)), 73.0 A(3) (PF(6) (-)), 78.5 A(3) (AsF(6) (-)), 88.7 A(3) (SbF(6) (-)), and 86.9 A(3) (CF(3)SO(3) (-)). The size and shape of the counter anion affects the flexible 2D network structure constructed by the hydrogen bonds, leading to modifications of the SC behavior. These estimated relative sizes of the counter anions correlate well with the observed SC behaviors.  相似文献

Cu(I) complexes bearing BPEP as a PNP-pincer type phosphaalkene ligand undergo effective bonding interactions with SbF(6)(-) and PF(6)(-) as non-coordinating anions to give [Cu(SbF(6))(BPEP)] and [Cu(2)(BPEP)(2)(μ-PF(6))](+), respectively [BPEP = 2,6-bis(1-phenyl-2-phosphaethenyl)pyridine]. NMR and theoretical studies indicate a reduced anionic charge of the μ-PF(6) ligand, which is induced by the strong π-accepting ability of BPEP.  相似文献

The PF3H+ ion is prepared as PF3H+.SbF6-.HF by protonation of PF3 with HF/SbF5 at low temperatures in anhydrous HF. Crystals are obtained directly from this solvent. A crystal structure determination shows the presence of a pseudo-tetrahedral PF3H+ ion with a mean P-F distance of 148.7(2) pm, a P-H distance of 122(4) pm, and a mean PF2 angle of 106.1(1) degrees. Raman spectra were recorded of PF3H+SbF6-.HF and PF3D+.SbF6-.DF and assigned with the help of ab initio calculations. AsF3 does not react with HF/SbF5, whereas SF4 forms SF3+SbF6-.HF, which is isostructural with PF3H+SbF6-.HF.  相似文献

A series of two-dimensional (2D) spin crossover complexes, [FeIIH3L(Me)][FeIIL(Me)]X (X-=ClO4-, BF4-, PF6-, AsF6-, SbF6-) 1-5, have been synthesized, where H3L(Me) denotes an hexadentate N6 tripodlike ligand containing three imidazole groups, tris[2-(((2-methylimidazol-4-yl)methylidene)amino)ethyl]amine. Compounds 1-5 exhibit a two-step (HS-[FeIIH3L(Me)](2+) + HS-[FeIIL(Me)]-) <--> (HS-[FeIIH3L(Me)](2+) + LS-[FeIIL(Me)]-) <--> (LS-[FeIIH3L(Me)](2+) + LS-[FeIIL(Me)]-) spin-transition. The crystal structure of [FeIIH3L(Me)][FeIIL(Me)]PF6 (3) was determined at 295, 200, and 100 K. The structure consists of homochiral extended 2D puckered sheets, in which the complementary [FeIIH3L(Me)](2+) and [FeIIL(Me)]- capped tripodlike components, linked together by imidazole-imidazolate hydrogen bonds, are alternately arrayed in an up-and-down mode. The Fe-N bond distances and angles revealed that the FeII sites of both constituting units are in the high-spin (HS) state at 295 K; at 200 K, the FeII sites of [FeIIH3L(Me)](2+) and [FeIIL(Me)]- are in the HS and low-spin (LS) states, respectively. The FeII sites of both constituting units are in the LS state at 100 K. The size of the counteranion affects significantly the intra- and interlayer interactions leading to modifications of the spin crossover behavior. The onset of the second spin-transition of the ClO4- (1) and BF4- (2) salts adjoins the first spin-transition, while a mixed (HS-[FeIIH3L(Me)](2+) + LS-[FeIIL(Me)]-) spin-state spans a temperature range as wide as 70 K for salts 3-5 with larger counteranions, PF6-, AsF6-, and SbF6-, respectively. Compounds 1 and 2 showed remarkable LIESST (light induced excited spin state trapping) and reverse-LIESST effects, whereas 3-5 showed no remarkable LIESST effect. The interlayer interaction due to the size of the counteranion is an important factor governing the spin crossover behavior and LIESST effect.  相似文献

Complexes [PF6 subset(Ag3(titmb)2](PF6)2 (8) and {SbF6 subset[Ag3(titmb)2](SbF6)2}.H2O.1.5 CH3OH (9) are obtained by reaction of titmb and Ag+ salts with different anions (PF6(-) and SbF6(-)), and crystal structures reveal that they are both M3L2 cage complexes with short Ag...F interactions between the silver atoms and the fluorine atoms of the anions. In complex 8, a novel cage dimer is formed by weak Ag...F contacts; an unique cage tetramer formed via Ag...pi interactions (Ag...eta5-imidazole) between dimers and an infinite 1D cage chain is presented. However, each of the external non-disordered SbF6(-) anions connect with six cage 9s via Ag...F contacts, and each cage 9 in turn connects with three SbF6(-) anions to form a 2D network cage layer; and the layers are connected by pi-pi interactions to form a 3D network. The anion-exchange reactions of four Ag3L2 type complexes ([BF4 subset(Ag3(titmb)2](BF4)2 (6), [ClO4 subset(Ag3(titmb)2](ClO4)2 (7b), [PF6 subset(Ag3(titmb)2](PF6)2 (8) and [SbF6 subset(Ag3(titmb)2](SbF6)2.1.5CH3OH (9)) with tetrahedral and octahedral anions (ClO4(-), BF4(-), PF6(-) and SbF6(-)) are also reported. The anion-exchange experiments demonstrate that the anion selective order is SbF6(-) > PF6(-) > BF4(-), ClO4(-), and this anion receptor is preferred to trap octahedral and tetrahedral anions rather than linear or triangle anions; SbF6(-) is the biggest and most preferable one, so far. The dimensions of cage complexes with or without internal anions, anion-exchange reactions, cage assembly and anion inclusions, silver(I) coordination environments, Ag-F and Ag-pi interactions of Ag3L2 complexes 1-9 are discussed.  相似文献

The introduced DFT-supported vibronic coupling model together with the hardness rule indicates, for the title compounds, that the tendency toward lone pair (LP) distortions decreases with increasing coordination number (CN) and upon proceeding from fluoride to iodide as the ligands. Thus, only some hexafluoro complexes and molecules are calculated to actually undergo LP deformations; here, from the possible highest-symmetry deformations, those with C(4v) geometry possess the lowest energy, leading to the complete ablation of one ligand and, hence, explaining the nonexistence of the complexes AsF6(3-), SbF6(3-), and SF6(2-). If a lower-symmetry strain is imposed on the octahedral species, for example, induced by the simultaneous presence of terminal and bridging ligands in oligomers, the vibronic energy potential is activated. It may induce pronounced distortions, which are much larger than those of analogous clusters with central ions lacking the LP. Dimers and tetramers with common edges and faces are investigated, with the predicted and calculated deformations of the constituting octahedra again following the stability sequence C(4v) > C(2v) > C(3v). The model nicely accounts for the observed trends, as well as reproduces the experimental structures and energy balances, at least semiquantitatively; its predictive power exceeds that of the valence-shell electron-pair repulsion concept.  相似文献

New quaternary lithium - d(0) cation - lone-pair oxides, Li(6)(Mo(2)O(5))(3)(SeO(3))(6) (Pmn2(1)) and Li(2)(MO(3))(TeO(3)) (P2(1)/n) (M = Mo(6+) or W(6+)), have been synthesized and characterized. The former is noncentrosymmetric and polar, whereas the latter is centrosymmetric. Their crystal structures exhibit zigzag anionic layers composed of distorted MO(6) and asymmetric AO(3) (A = Se(4+) or Te(4+)) polyhedra. The anionic layers stack along a 2-fold screw axis and are separated by Li(+) cations. Powder SHG measurements on Li(6)(Mo(2)O(5))(3)(SeO(3))(6) using 1064 nm radiation reveal a SHG efficiency of approximately 170 × α-SiO(2). Particle size vs SHG efficiency measurements indicate Li(6)(Mo(2)O(5))(3)(SeO(3))(6) is type 1 nonphase-matchable. Converse piezoelectric measurements result in a d(33) value of ~28 pm/V and pyroelectric measurements reveal a pyroelectric coefficient of -0.43 μC/m(2)K at 50 °C for Li(6)(Mo(2)O(5))(3)(SeO(3))(6). Frequency-dependent polarization measurements confirm that Li(6)(Mo(2)O(5))(3)(SeO(3))(6) is nonferroelectric, i.e., the macroscopic polarization is not reversible, or 'switchable'. Infrared, UV-vis, thermogravimetric, and differential thermal analysis measurements and electron localization function calculations were also done for all materials.  相似文献

The energetical and stereochemical effect of the s(2) lone pair in the title molecules and complexes is investigated using a pseudo-Jahn-Teller coupling model with parameters adjusted to energies and wave functions from DFT calculations. Vibronic coupling parameters were calculated and compared with those of the coordination number (CN) 3. Inspecting the correlation between the chemical hardness and the vibronic coupling energy (hardness rule), it is found that the tendency to distort decreases with increasing CN. While all considered molecules AX(3) (A(III) = P to Bi; X(-) = F to I) undergo lone pair deformations (D(3h)---> C(3v)), only part of the AX(4)(-) and BX(4) species (B(IV) = S to Po) do so (T(d)---> C(2v)-and even less the ones with CN = 5 (D(3h)---> C(2v) (congruent with C(4v)), AX(5)(2-), BX(5)(-), and CF(5) (C(V); Cl to I). The distorted polyhedra of minimum energy possess usually the butterfly C(2v) shape (CN = 4, tau(2)(zeta) displacement path) and a C(2v) = C(4v)geometry (CN = 5, epsilon' (epsilon) distortion path). A further symmetry lowering to C(s) occurs, if the central ion becomes too small with respect to the ligands (ionic size influence, PCl(Br)(4)(-), PCl(5)(2-)), with the tendency to reduce the CN toward 3 + 1 and 4 + 1, respectively. For CN = 4 the various stationary points of, for example, compressed and elongated C(3v), C(4v), etc. in the multidimensional ground-state potential surface have been characterized. Though of higher energy than the absolute C(2v) minimum, they are shown to govern the dynamics and reactivity of the CN = 4 species to a large extent. To simulate the chemical environment (positively charged counterions, polar solvents), the DFT calculations were performed using the polarizable continuum model COSMO (conductor-like screening model). Though the electronic energy gain upon distortion is not significantly affected by the solvent, the total stabilization energy is distinctly enhanced, frequently leading to lone pair deformations of otherwise electronically stable species. All results obtained by the combined vibronic/DFT approach are well in accord with available experimental data.  相似文献

Unusual AuI-AgI heterometallic complexes [Au5Ag8(mu-dppm)4{1,2,3-C6(C6H4R-4)3}(CCC6H4R-4)7]3+ (R = H 1, CH3 2, But 3) were isolated by reactions of polymeric silver arylacetylides (AgCCC6H4R-4)n with binuclear gold component [Au2(mu-dppm)2(MeCN)2]2+ (dppm = bis(diphenylphosphino)methane), in which cyclotrimerization of arylacetylide -CCC6H4R-4 affords trianion {1,2,3-C6(C6H4R-4)3}3- with an unprecedented mu5-bonding mode. Compounds 1(SbF6)3-3(SbF6)3 exhibit intense photoluminescence derived from an MLCT (Au5Ag8 --> CCC6H4R-4) transition, mixed with a metal cluster-centered excited states.  相似文献

Two new ligands, 2-[(bis(2-pyridylmethyl)amino)methyl]-4-methylphenol (HL) and 2-[(bis(2-pyridylmethyl)amino)methyl]-4-methyl-6-(methylthio)phenol (HSL), were synthesized and were used to prepare the trinuclear copper(II) complex {[CuSL(Cl)]2Cu}(PF6)2.H2O (1) and the corresponding binuclear complexes [Cu2(SL)2](PF6)2 (2) and [Cu2L2](PF6)2 (3). The crystal structure of 1 shows two different coordination environments: two square base pyramidal centers (Cu1 and Cu1a, related by a C2 axes), acting as ligands of a distorted square planar copper center (Cu2) by means of the sulfur atom of the SCH3 substituent and the bridging phenoxo oxygen atom of the ligand (Cu2-S = 2.294 A). Compounds 2 and 3 show two equivalent distorted square base pyramidal copper(II) centers, bridged in an axial-equatorial fashion by two phenoxo groups, thus defining an asymmetric Cu2O2 core. A long copper-sulfur distance measured in 2 (2.9261(18) A) suggests a weak bonding interaction. This interaction induces a torsion angle between the methylthio group and the phenoxo plane resulting in a dihedral angle of 41.4(5) degrees. A still larger distortion is observed in 1 with a dihedral angle of 74.0(6) degrees. DFT calculations for 1 gave a ferromagnetic exchange between first neighbors interaction, the calculated J value for this interaction being +11.7 cm-1. In addition, an antiferromagnetic exchange for 1 was obtained for the second neighbor interaction with a J value of -0.05 cm-1. The Bleaney-Bowers equation was used to fit the experimental magnetic susceptibility data for 2 and 3; the best fit was obtained with J values of +3.4 and -16.7 cm-1, respectively. DFT calculations for 2 and 3 confirm the nature and the values of the J constants obtained by the fit of the experimental data. ESR and magnetic studies on the reported compounds show a weak exchange interaction between the copper(II) centers. The low values obtained for the coupling constants can be explained in terms of a poor overlap between the magnetic orbitals, due to the axial-equatorial phenoxo bridging mode observed in these complexes.  相似文献

Applying quantum chemical calculations, the most likely conformations of the anionic complex species dodecabenzylbambus[6]uril–PF6−, dodecabenzylbambus[6]uril–AsF6−, and dodecabenzylbambus[6]uril–SbF6− were found. In all these complexes, the considered anions, incorporated in the ligand cavity, are bound by hydrogen bonds between methine hydrogen atoms on the convex face of glycoluril units of the dodecabenzylbambus[6]uril ligand and fluorine atoms of the respective “central” anion. Moreover, the interaction energies of the investigated three anionic complexes were calculated. The absolute values of these calculated energies increase in the series of SbF6− < AsF6− < PF6−.  相似文献

The cationic titanium fluoride containing complexes [fac-TiF3(MeCN)3][SbF6].MeCN (1), [trans-TiF2(15-Crown-5)][SbF6]2(2) and [trans-TiF2(18-Crown-6)][SbF6]2(2), were prepared by the reaction of TiF4, the molecular ligand and SbF5 in MeCN. Complexes 1-3 were characterized by X-ray single crystal analysis, elemental analysis, IR, NMR and mass spectroscopy. Titanium tetrafluoride reacts with the SbF5 in SO2 with the formation of fac-[TiF3(SO2)3]+, detected by 19F NMR. Application of the volume-based approach to thermodynamics (VBT) offers a means, for the first time, of exploring the energetics surrounding these materials and in the thermodynamic section a discussion of this new approach is provided. It emerges that the basis of the thermodynamic driving force of formation of [TiF3L3][SbF6](s) salts, that enforces the unfavourable [DeltaH degrees =+ 237 (+/-20) kJ mol(-1)] fluoride ion transfer from the Lewis acid TiF4(s) to SbF5(l) to give the hypothetical [TiF3]+[SbF6]-(s), is the higher Ti-L (L = ligand) bond energy in the cationic complexes [TiF3L3]+ as compared to that in the molecular adducts TiF4L2(s) and SbF5L(s) so giving rise to larger enthalpies of complexation of [TiF3]+(g) by 3L(g) compared to those for complexation of TiF4(g) by 2L(g) and SbF5(g) by 1L(g). Formation of the trans-[TiF2(15-Crown-5)]2+ and trans-[TiF2(18-Crown-6)]2+ is accounted for the stabilization of [TiF2]2+ cation by the five donor acceptor Ti-O contacts and the accompanying positive charge delocalization. Cationic titanium(IV) complexes fac-[TiF3MeCN)3-nLn]+(n= 0-3) and cis-[TiF318-Crown-6)]+, trans-[TiF2(Crown)]2+(Crown = 15-Crown-5 and 18-Crown-6) were obtained in MeCN solution by the reaction of fac-[TiF3(MeCN)3]+ and L = Et2, THF, H2 or crown ethers. Complexes fac-[TiF3(MeCN)3-nLn][SbF6] L = Et2, THF, H2O, crown ethers are unstable in MeCN solution and slowly decompose giving molecular complexes cis-TiF4L2, cis-TiF4(Crown), SbF5L, titanium oxofluoride and alkoxide complexes. The structure of the fac-[TiF3(MeCN)3]+ is similar to the fac-[TiCl3(MeCN)3]+ and the complexes trans-[TiF2L]2+ L = 15-Crown-5, 18-Crown-6 have very similar geometries to that of trans-[TiCl2(15-Crown-5)]+ showing that the essential features of coordination are the same for the cationic titanium chloride and fluoride complexes with MeCN and 15-Crown-5, 18-Crown-6.  相似文献

Pure [Cu(XeF2)2](SbF6)2 was prepared by the reaction of Cu(SbF 6) 2 with a stoichiometric amount of XeF2 in anhydrous hydrogen fluoride (aHF) at ambient temperature. The reaction between Cu(SbF6)2 and XeF2 (1:4 molar ratio) in aHF yielded [Cu(XeF2)4](SbF6)2 contaminated with traces of Xe 2F 3SbF6 and CuF2. The 6-fold coordination of Cu(2+) in [Cu(XeF2)2](SbF6)2 includes two fluorine atoms from two XeF2 ligands and four fluorine atoms provided by four [SbF6](-) anions. The neighboring [Cu(XeF 2)2](2+) moieties are connected via two [SbF6] units, with the bridging fluorine atoms in cis positions, into infinite [Cu(eta(1)-XeF2)2](cis-eta(2)-SbF 6)2[Cu(eta(1)-XeF 2)2] chains. Because of the high electron affinity of Cu(2+), coordinated XeF2 shows the highest distortion (Xe-Fb=210.2(5) pm, Xe-Ft=190.6(5) pm) observed so far among all known [M(x+)(XeF2)n](A)x (A=BF4, PF6, etc.) complexes. The four equatorial coordination sites of the Cu(2+) ion in [Cu(XeF 2) 4](SbF6)2 are occupied by four XeF 2 ligands. Two fluorine atoms belonging to two [SbF6] units complete the Cu (2+) coordination environment. The neighboring [Cu(XeF2)4](2+) species are linked via one [SbF6] unit, with bridging fluorine atoms in trans positions, into linear infinite [Cu(eta(1)-XeF2)4](trans-eta(2)-SbF6)[Cu(eta(1)-XeF2)4] chains. To compensate for the remaining positive charge, crystallographically independent [SbF6](-) anions are located between the chains and are fixed in the crystal space by weak Xe...F(Sb) interactions.  相似文献

The synthesis, electrochemical properties, and molecular structure of a new pi-electron donor, 2,5-bis(1,3-dithian-2-ylidene)-1,3,4,6-tetrathiapentalene (BDA-TTP), is described. In contrast to the hitherto-known tetrachalcogenafulvalene pi-donors providing organic superconductors, this donor contains only the bis-fused 1,3-dithiole-2-ylidene unit as a pi-electron system, yet produces a series of ambient-pressure superconductors beta-(BDA-TTP)2X [X = SbF6 (magnetic T(c) = 6.9 K, resistive T(c) = 7.5 K), AsF6 (magnetic T(c) = 5.9 K, resistive T(c) = 5.8 K), and PF6 (magnetic T(c) = 5.9 K)], which are isostructural. The values of the intermolecular overlap integrals calculated on the donor layers of these superconductors suggest a two-dimensional (2D) electronic structure with loose donor packing. Tight-binding band calculations also indicate that these superconductors have the 2D band dispersion relations and closed Fermi surfaces.  相似文献

Reactions of Cu I salts with 1,4,5,8,9,12-hexaazatriphenylene (HAT) afford three types of cationic coordination polymers depending on the anion present in the reaction solution. In the crystal structure of {[Cu(HAT)][BF4]x1/3(C6H6)}infinity, (1), Cu ions and HAT molecules form extended layers that are best described as strongly distorted honeycomb nets. The space between the layers is occupied by [BF4]- anions and solvent molecules. {[Cu(HAT)][PF6]}infinity, (2), crystallizes as a chiral (10,3)-a net with [PF6]- anions residing in the cavities of the three-dimensional metal-organic framework. The crystal structure of {[Cu4(HAT)3][SbF6]4x3C6H6}infinity, (3), is based on unique extended [Cu4(HAT)3]infinity "nanotubules" filled with solvent molecules and [SbF6]- anions.  相似文献

We report on ab initio calculations at the G2(MP2) level of the structures and Al-N(P) bond complexation energies of the (CH(3))(n)H(3)(-)(n)AlNX(3) and (CH(3))(n)H(3)(-)(n)()AlPX(3) (X = H, F, and Cl; n = 0-3) donor-acceptor complexes. For the (CH(3))(3)AlNX(3) and (CH(3))(3)AlPX(3) complexes, the C(3)(v) symmetry is found to be favored, and for the other complexes the C(s) symmetry is found to be favored. The G2(MP2) calculated complexation energies show for the amine ligands the trend NH(3) > NCl(3) > NF(3). A similar trend PH(3) approximately PCl(3) > PF(3) is predicted for the phosphane ligands. The NBO partitioning scheme shows that there is no correlation between the stability and the charge transfer.  相似文献

[Pd(L1)2(CH3CN)](PF6)2 (L1 = 1-n-butyl-3-(2-pyrimidyl)imidazolylidene, 3) and [Pd(L2)2](PF6)2 (L2 = 1-(2-picolyl)-3-(2-pyrimidyl)imidazolylidene 4), prepared via carbene transfer reactions of [Ag(L1)2]PF6 (1) and [Ag2(L2)2](PF6)2 (2) with palladium salts, respectively, have been fully characterized by 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy and elemental analysis. The X-ray crystal structures of complexes 1-4 are reported. Complex 3 is an unusual pentacoordinated palladium complex, in which the palladium is coordinated by two imidazolylidene, two pyridine, and one acetonitrile molecule in a square-pyramidal geometry. The apical position is occupied by a pyrimidine nitrogen atom with a relatively long Pd-N distance (2.762(6) angstroms). Complex is a typical square-planar palladium complex with palladium surrounded by two pairs of cis-arranged pyridine and imidazolylidene ligands. The complexes exhibit good catalytic activities in the Heck coupling reaction of aryl bromides and activated aryl chlorides under mild conditions.  相似文献

An experimental study has been made of thermal electron attachment to the transition-metal trifluorophosphine complexes Ni(PF(3))(4) and Pt(PF(3))(4) using a flowing-afterglow Langmuir-probe apparatus. Both complexes are efficient at electron attachment, although the rate constants are somewhat less than collisional. The rate constant for electron attachment to Ni(PF(3))(4) is 1.9 x 10(-7) cm(3) s(-1) at room temperature, about a factor of 2 less than collisional. The activation energy is 39+/-5 meV for the attachment reaction. The rate constant for electron attachment to Pt(PF(3))(4) is 5.4 x 10(-8) cm(3) s(-1) at room temperature, and the activation energy is 84+/-8 meV. For both complexes, a PF(3) ligand is lost on electron attachment, and only the M(PF(3))(3)(-) ion is observed in the negative-ion mass spectrum. Density functional calculations were carried out on Ni(PF(3))(4) and various fragments in order to describe the thermochemistry of the attachment reaction.  相似文献
