研究了鞘层中电子和负离子的反射运动对碰撞电负性磁鞘玻姆判据和鞘层结构的影响.通过理论推导得到了考虑鞘层中电子和负离子的反射运动时鞘层玻姆判据表达式,并通过数值模拟得到了电子和负离子采用玻尔兹曼模型和反射运动模型时离子马赫数的下限随参数的变化曲线以及鞘层中带电粒子密度的分布曲线.结果表明,电子和负离子的反射运动模型和玻尔兹曼模型离子马赫数的上限完全相同,下限表达式不同,反射运动模型中下限还与基板电势有关,且随着基板电势值的增加而增大,达到与玻尔兹曼分布中相同值后保持不变,随着鞘边负离子浓度和温度的不同达到最大值的速度不同;离子马赫数的下限在玻尔兹曼和反射运动模型中都随鞘边负离子浓度的增加和温度的降低而减小,只是在反射运动模型中的最大值要小;两种模型中离子马赫数的下限都随鞘边电场的增加而增加,但在玻尔兹曼模型中增加得更快最终值更大;两种模型离子马赫数的下限都随碰撞参数或磁场角度的增加而降低,但在玻尔兹曼模型中降低更快,随着碰撞参数或者磁场角度的增加两种模型中离子马赫数的下限趋于一致;当基板电势值较小时,电子和负离子的反射运动对鞘层结构影响较大,当基板电势值较大时电子和负离子反射运动对鞘层中带电粒子密度分布的影响很小.  相似文献

The sheath characteristics are investigated in a collisional environment by considering three electronegative plasmas, namely CF4, Oxygen, and C60 plasmas. Specifically, positive ion velocity, electrostatic potential, charged species densities and net space charged density are examined inside the sheath region with the variation of collisional parameter, mass ratio of negative to positive ions, temperature ratios of electrons to positive ions and electrons to negative ions, non-neutrality parameter and negative ion density. Collisional cross-section is assumed to have a power-law dependence, and both the cases of constant mobility and constant collisional cross-section are discussed and compared. In order to introduce the concept of finite mass of negative ions, both kinds of ions are considered to be governed by their fluid equations, where contribution of ionization, attachment, and detachment is also taken through the continuity equations.  相似文献

采用流体方法数值研究了斜磁场作用下的等离子体鞘层结构.模拟结果显示磁场对鞘层结构有显著的影响,特别是在磁鞘边界附近离子的密度分布产生了明显的变化.分别讨论了离子垂直入射和斜入射两种情况,当离子斜入射进鞘层时,其运动情况要相对复杂一些.在适当的条件下,洛伦兹力的作用使离子在某些区域产生相对聚集,离子密度分布产生波动. 关键词: 鞘层 等离子体 磁场  相似文献

The formation of dust-ion-acoustic solitary waves (DIASWs), and their basic properties in a magnetized dusty plasma system containing inertial, hot positively and negatively charged ion fluids, κ-distributed superthermal electrons, and negatively charged stationary dust species are investigated theoretically. An ambient magnetic field is assumed along z-direction, and the wave propagation is considered obliquely to the direction of that ambient magnetic field. Two types of modes, the fast and the slow modes, are shown to exist in the linear regime. The reductive perturbation method (which is valid for small but finite amplitude DIASWs) as well as pseudo-potential approach (which is valid for arbitrary amplitude DIASWs) are employed to identify the basic properties of the DIASWs. The effects of key plasma composition parameters, namely the superthermality effect of electrons, the temperature of positive and negative ions, the number density of positive and negative ions, on the dynamics of small amplitude as well as on large amplitude DIASWs, are investigated. The influence of the obliquity parameter and the magnetic field on the propagation characteristics of DIASWs are also examined.  相似文献

很多关于等离子体鞘层的研究工作都是基于电子满足经典的麦克斯韦速度分布函数,而等离子体中的粒子具有长程电磁相互作用,使用Tsallis提出的非广延分布来描述电子更为恰当.本文建立一个具有非广延分布电子的碰撞等离子体磁鞘模型,理论推导出受非广延参数q影响的玻姆判据,离子马赫数的下限数值会随着参数q的增大而减小.经过数值模拟,发现与具有麦克斯韦分布(q=1)电子的碰撞等离子体磁鞘对比,具有超广延分布(q<1)和亚广延分布(q>1)电子的碰撞等离子体磁鞘的结构各有不同,包括空间电势分布、离子电子密度分布、空间电荷密度分布.模拟结果显示非广延分布的参数q对碰撞等离子体磁鞘的结构具有不可忽略的影响.希望这些结论对相关的天体物理、等离子体边界问题的研究有参考价值.  相似文献

Properties of steady state ion sheath formed in front of a negatively biased metal plate under the influence of negative ions have been investigated in collisionless argon/SF6 plasma. This experiment is carried out at a fixed discharge voltage and fixed filament heating power. In this experiment, the decrement in plasma pre-sheath potential drop as well as positive ion drift velocity toward the plate is experimentally recorded in the presence of negative ions. It is also found that the plasma positive ion density and plasma electron temperature decrease in the presence of negative ions. These factors attribute to the decrease of ion current toward the plate. Hence the usual ion sheath expands. 建立包括两种正离子的电负性磁鞘的流体模型,利用四阶龙格库塔法数值求解描述一维稳态等离子体鞘层的方程组,考察离子与中性粒子碰撞对一维稳态等离子体鞘层的影响.结果表明:鞘边Ar+与He+的含量比值与碰撞参数对离子马赫数的取值范围都有影响.鞘边负离子含量越少,碰撞对鞘层中带电粒子密度的影响越明显.并且随碰撞参数的加大,鞘层中电子、负离子的密度下降越快,两种正离子的密度则呈现不同的波动变化.鞘边负离子含量越多,碰撞对鞘层中两种正离子的速度影响就越明显.此外,碰撞参数越大对鞘边δ越大的鞘层中的带电粒子密度影响越大.  相似文献

Study of dust ion acoustic waves in a magnetized dusty plasmas composed of negatively or positively charged static dust, positive and negative ions, as well as kappa distribution electrons is presented. The Zakharov–Kuznetsov (ZK) equation is derived via reductive perturbation technique. The solitary wave solution of ZK equation is given and the multi-dimensional instability of these solitary waves is investigated via small k perturbation method. The instability criterion and growth rate relying on obliqueness, superthermality, positive ion thermal pressure, relative ion number density, magnetic field strength, and direction cosines are discussed for five cases. The results are beneficial to understand different nonlinear characteristics of unstable electrostatic disturbances in laboratory and space plasmas.  相似文献

The characteristics of ions that enter the plasma sheath with an oblique incident angle have been investigated in the presence of an external magnetic field. The ion dynamics in a collisional and collisionless magnetized plasma sheath have been numerically calculated by using a fluid model. Several values for the ion velocity at the sheath edge, orientation and strength of the magnetic field and the ion-neutral collision frequency have been considered. The results show that in a collisionless magnetized plasma sheath, the behaviour of ions that obliquely enter the sheath with some specific velocities at the sheath edge and at some specific orientations and strengths of magnetic field, is more complicated than that of ions with normal entrance angles. For the oblique entrance of ions, the weak magnetic fields cause some fluctuations in ion velocity around its boundary value, i.e. the ion velocity does not accelerate. However, the numerical calculations show that the ion dynamics in a collisional magnetized plasma sheath are the same for both normal and inclined entrance of ions into the sheath.  相似文献

The nonlinear dust‐ion‐acoustic (DIA) solitary structures have been studied in a dusty plasma, including the Cairns‐Gurevich distribution for electrons, both negative and positive ions, and immobile opposite polarity dust grains. The external magnetic field directed along the z‐axis is considered. By using the standard reductive perturbation technique and the hydrodynamics model for the ion fluid, the modified Zakharov–Kuznetsov equation was derived for small but finite amplitude waves and was provided the solitary wave solution for the parameters relevant. Using the appropriate independent variable, we could find the modified Korteweg–de Vries equation. By plotting some figures, we have discussed and emphasized how the different plasma values, such as the trapping parameter, the positive (or negative) dust number density, the non‐thermal electron parameter, and the ion cyclotron frequency, can influence the solitary wave structures. In addition, using the bifurcation theory of planar dynamical systems, we have extracted the centre and saddle points and illustrated the phase portrait of such a system for some particular plasma parameters. Finally, we have graphically investigated the behaviour of the solitary energy wave by changing the plasma values as well as by calculating the instability criterion; we have also discussed the growth rate of the solitary waves. The results could be useful for studying the physical mechanism of nonlinear propagation of DIA solitary waves in laboratory and space plasmas where non‐thermal electrons, pair‐ions, and dust particles can exist.  相似文献

Non-linear heavy ion-acoustic waves (HIAWs) are studied in a homogeneous magnetized four-component multi-ion plasma composed of inertial heavy negative ions, light positive ions, and inertia-less non-extensive electrons and positrons. The non-linear Schrödinger equation is derived in this model using the perturbation method. The criteria for modulational instability of HIAWs and the basic features of finite-amplitude heavy ion acoustic rogue waves (HIARWs) are investigated. The presence of the magnetic field was found to reduce the amplitude of HIARWs and enhances the stability. It is interesting to note that increasing positive ion mass causes decreases in the amplitude and width of rogue waves, which is opposite behaviour to that demonstrated in the previous study of these waves in an unmagnetized plasma. Furthermore, it is also shown that striking parameters, such as the non-extensive parameter, the positron number density, the electron number density, the electron temperature, and the magnetic field parameter, play an undeniable role on the stability of waves packets. The findings of the present investigation may be of wide relevance to some plasma environments, such as active galactic nuclei, pulsar magnetospheres, and other magnetic confinement systems.  相似文献

The oscillations of a single magnetized dust grain in electronegative plasma sheath are investigated taking into account the existence of an external magnetic field. The influence of the content of negative ions and the magnetic field intensity on the properties of the dust vibration is analysed. The result shows that the existence of the negative ions in plasma reduces the dust oscillation frequency and drops the equilibrium position of dust, whereas the magnetic field raises the equilibrium position and also reduces the dust oscillation frequency on the condition considered.  相似文献

Lattice wave of magnetized spherical dust in radio-frequency sheath with negative ions is investigated. The dispersion relation of two-dimensional hexagonal lattice horizontal wave and the influence of negative ions and magnetic field intensity on the wave are also investigated. The results show that for two-dimensional hexagonal horizontal lattice wave, negative ions reduce the wave frequency at the range of long-wavelength, whereas raising the wave frequency at the range of short-wavelength and magnetic field contributes to dropping the wave frequency a little.  相似文献

Recently it has been shown that the magnetic field has significant effects on the characteristics of ions which enter the collisionless plasma sheath with an oblique incidence angle. Here, we have investigated these effects in collisional plasma sheath. Considering the ion-neutral collision, the basic equations of fluid model in a plasma sheath have been numerically solved in the presence of an external magnetic field where the ion collision frequency has a power law dependency to the ion flow velocity. The results show that the effects of magnetic field on the plasma sheath dynamics strongly depend on the ion-neutral collision frequency and its dependency to ion flow velocity.  相似文献

A basic property of an electronegative plasma is its separation into two distinct regions: an ion‐ion region far from boundaries, where the densities of positive and negative ions are higher then electron density, and a near‐boundary electron‐ion region, where negative ions have practically negligible density. This is due to the influence of the ambipolar electric field, which depends on electron (not negative ion) plasma parameters. This electric field “holds off” negative ions from the boundary, as the ions have lower mobility and temperature compared to the electrons. Therefore, negative ions will be repelled by any object inserted into the plasma. This can lead to errors in measurements of negative ion and electron parameters by any invasive method. Numerical modeling of electric probes in an argon‐oxygen plasma clearly demonstrates possible errors of direct measurements of negative ion probe current. This article presents measurements by a cylindrical Langmuir probe in the plasma of a DC cylindrical magnetron discharge át the pressure 1.5 Pa that aim at the experimental assessment of the influence of a weak magnetic field to the estimation of the electron density when using conventional methods of probe data interpretation. The probe data was obtained under the presence of a weak magnetic field in the range 1.10?2?5.10?2 T. The influence of the magnetic field on the electron probe current is experimentally assessed for two cylindrical probes with different radii, 50 μm and 21 μm. This assessment is based on comparison of the values of the electron density estimated from the electron current part with the values of the positive ion density estimated from the positive ion current part of the probe characteristic respectively by assuming that at the magnetic field strengths used in the present study the probe positive ion currents are possible to be assumed as uninfluenced by the magnetic field. For interpretation of the probe positive ion current two theories are used and compared to each other: the radial motion model by Allen, Boyd and Reynolds [10] and Chen [11] and the model that accounts for the collisions of positive ions with neutrals in the probe space charge sheath that we call Chen-Talbot model [8]. At lower magnetic field 3 · 10?2 T the positive ion density values interpreted by using the Chen-Talbot model [8] are in better agreement with the values of electron density compared to those obtained by using the theory [10,11]; therefore the model [8] is used for calculation of the positive ion density from the probe data at higher magnetic fields. The comparison of the positive ion and electron density values calculated from the same probe data at higher magnetic fields shows that up to the magnetic field strength 4 . 10?2 T with the probe 100 μm and up to 5 . 10?2 T with the probe 42 μm in diameter respectively the decrease of the magnitude of the electron current at the space potential due to the magnetic field does not exceed the error limits that are usual for Langmuir probe measurements (absolute error ±20%).  相似文献

The influence of collective effects associated with transverse plasma oscillations excited by a beam of negative ions on the neutralization of the space charge due to fast ions is studied. Conditions for the dynamic deneutralization of an unstable ion beam are refined. Analytic expressions for the plasma ion density distribution and for the stationary electric field in a partially neutralized beam are obtained. The equation of motion of a beam in the self-electric field and in an external magnetic field is used to determine the effect of secondary charged particles on the transport of negative ions through the injector of a cyclotron.  相似文献
