In recent years, it is observed that the third-order explicit autonomous differential equation, named as jerk equation, represents
an interesting sub-class of dynamical systems that can exhibit many major features of the regular and chaotic motion. In this
paper, we investigate the global dynamics of a special family of jerk systems {ie075-01}, whereG(x) is a non-linear function, which are known to exhibit chaotic behaviour at some parameter values. We particularly identify
the regions of parameter space with different asymptotic dynamics using some analytical methods as well as extensive Lyapunov
spectra calculation in complete parameter space. We also investigate the effect of weakening as well as strengthening of the
non-linearity in theG(x) function on the global dynamics of these jerk dynamical systems. As a result, we reach to an important conclusion for these
jerk dynamical systems that a certain amount of non-linearity is sufficient for exhibiting chaotic behaviour but increasing
the non-linearity does not lead to larger regions of parameter space exhibiting chaos. 相似文献

Rank-1 attractors play a vital role in biological systems and the circuit systems.In this paper,we consider a periodically kicked Chua model with two delays in a circuit system.We first analyze the local stability of the equilibria of the Chua system and obtain the existence conditions of supercritical Hopf bifurcations.Then,we derive some explicit formulas about Hopf bifurcation,which could help us find the form of Hopf bifurcation and the stability of bifurcating period solutions through the Hassards method.Also,we show that rank-1 chaos occurs when the Chua model with two delays undergoes a supercritical Hopf bifurcation and encounters a periodic kick,which shows the effect of two delays on the circuit system.Finally,we illustrate the theoretical analysis by simulations and try to explain the mechanism of delay in our system. 相似文献

Bifurcation control and the existence of chaos in a class of
linear impulsive systems are discussed by means of both theoretical
and numerical ways. Chaotic behaviour in the sense of Marotto's
definition is rigorously proven. A linear impulsive controller,
which does not result in any change in one period-1 solution of the
original system, is proposed to control and anti-control chaos. The
numerical results for chaotic attractor, route leading to chaos,
chaos control, and chaos anti-control, which are illustrated with
two examples, are in good agreement with the theoretical analysis. 相似文献

We have investigated the fluxon dynamical behaviour in a one-dimensional parallel array of small Josephson junctions in the presence of an externally applied magnetic field. In the case of high damping,the system is in stable state. On the contrary, in the case of low damping, bifurcation and chaotic phenomena have been observed. Control of chaos is achieved by a delayed feedback mechanism, which drives the chaotic system into a selected unstable periodic orbit embadded within the associated strange attractor. It is attractive to control chaos to a periodic state, rather than operating always outside the device parameter space where chaos dominates. 相似文献

We report self-similar properties of periodic structures remarkably organized in the two-parameter space for a two-gene system, described by two-dimensional symmetric map. The map consists of difference equations derived from the chemical reactions for gene expression and regulation. We characterize the system by using Lyapunov exponents and isoperiodic diagrams identifying periodic windows, denominated Arnold tongues and shrimp-shaped structures. Period-adding sequences are observed for both periodic windows. We also identify Fibonacci-type series and Golden ratio for Arnold tongues, and period multiple-of-three windows for shrimps. 相似文献

Hopf bifurcation and chaos of a nonlinear electromechanical coupling relative rotation system are studied in this paper. Considering the energy in air-gap field of AC motor, the dynamical equation of nonlinear electromechanical coupling relative rotation system is deduced by using the dissipation Lagrange equation. Choosing the electromagnetic stiffness as a bifurcation parameter, the necessary and sufficient conditions of Hopf bifurcation are given, and the bifurcation characteristics are studied. The mechanism and conditions of system parameters for chaotic motions are investigated rigorously based on the Silnikov method, and the homoclinic orbit is found by using the undetermined coefficient method. Therefore, Smale horseshoe chaos occurs when electromagnetic stiffness changes. Numerical simulations are also given, which confirm the analytical results. 相似文献

建立了一类具有Mathieu-Duffing振子的两质量相对转动系统的非线性动力学方程. 应用多尺度法求解该系统发生主共振-基本参数共振的分岔响应方程,并通过奇异性分析得到系统稳态响应的转迁集. 利用Melnikov方法讨论系统在外激扰动和参激扰动变化下的全局分岔和系统进入混沌状态的可能途径,得到外激和参激幅值变化下系统可能出现多次通向混沌的道路,获得系统发生混沌的必要条件. 最后采用数值方法验证了理论研究的有效性.

Bifurcation and chaos in high-frequency peak current mode Buck converter working in continuous conduction mode(CCM) are studied in this paper. First of all, the two-dimensional discrete mapping model is established. Next, reference current at the period-doubling point and the border of inductor current are derived. Then, the bifurcation diagrams are drawn with the aid of MATLAB. Meanwhile, circuit simulations are executed with PSIM, and time domain waveforms as well as phase portraits in i_L–v_C plane are plotted with MATLAB on the basis of simulation data. After that, we construct the Jacobian matrix and analyze the stability of the system based on the roots of characteristic equations. Finally, the validity of theoretical analysis has been verified by circuit testing. The simulation and experimental results show that,with the increase of reference current I_(ref), the corresponding switching frequency f is approaching to low-frequency stage continuously when the period-doubling bifurcation happens, leading to the converter tending to be unstable. With the increase of f, the corresponding Irefdecreases when the period-doubling bifurcation occurs, indicating the stable working range of the system becomes smaller. 相似文献

A four-mode model of convection in a rotating fluid layer is studied. The model is an extension of the Lorenz model of Rayleigh-Bénard convection, the extra mode accounting for the regeneration of vorticity by rotation. Perturbation theory is applied to show that the Hopf bifurcations from conductive and steady convective solutions can be either supercritical or subcritical. Perturbation theory is also used at large Rayleigh numbersr to predict novel behavior. Supercritical oscillatory convection of finite amplitude is found by numerical integration of the governing equations. The general picture is of a series of oscillatory solutions stable over larger intervals, interspersed by short bursts of chaos. 相似文献

It is shown that we can control spatiotemporal chaos in the Frenkel–Kontorova(FK) model by a model-free control method based on reinforcement learning. The method uses Q-learning to find optimal control strategies based on the reward feedback from the environment that maximizes its performance. The optimal control strategies are recorded in a Q-table and then employed to implement controllers. The advantage of the method is that it does not require an explicit knowledge of the system, target states, and unstable periodic orbits. All that we need is the parameters that we are trying to control and an unknown simulation model that represents the interactive environment. To control the FK model, we employ the perturbation policy on two different kinds of parameters, i.e., the pendulum lengths and the phase angles. We show that both of the two perturbation techniques, i.e., changing the lengths and changing their phase angles, can suppress chaos in the system and make it create the periodic patterns. The form of patterns depends on the initial values of the angular displacements and velocities. In particular, we show that the pinning control strategy, which only changes a small number of lengths or phase angles, can be put into effect. 相似文献

量子化的Dicke模型在非旋波近似条件下表现为量子混沌动力学特征.利用单粒子一阶时间关联函数,通过数值计算详细考察了Dicke模型中单粒子相干动力学特性.结果表明:当初始相干态处在混沌区域时,一阶时间关联函数曲线衰减较快,而当初始相干态处在规则区域时,一阶时间关联函数曲线衰减较慢,单粒子相干动力学对初态具有较强的敏感性,经典混沌抑制量子相干.考察单粒子相干动力学在相空间的平均演化性质,得到一种较好的量子经典对应关系.最后研究了相空间单粒子相干的整体动力学性质,更好地揭示了相空间的混沌和规则结构. 相似文献

The dynamics character of a two degree-of-freedom
aeroelastic airfoil with combined freeplay and cubic stiffness
nonlinearities in pitch submitted to supersonic and hypersonic flow
has been gaining significant attention. The Poincaré mapping
method and Floquet theory are adopted to analyse the limit cycle
oscillation flutter and chaotic motion of this system. The result
shows that the limit cycle oscillation flutter can be accurately
predicted by the Floquet multiplier. The phase trajectories of both
the pitch and plunge motion are obtained and the results show that
the plunge motion is much more complex than the pitch motion. It is
also proved that initial conditions have important influences on the
dynamics character of the airfoil system. In a certain range of
airspeed and with the same system parameters, the stable limit cycle
oscillation, chaotic and multi-periodic motions can be detected
under different initial conditions. The figure of the Poincaré

chaotic systems is proposed using the Takagi--Sugeno (TS) fuzzy model and adaptive
adjustment. Sufficient conditions are derived to guarantee chaos
control from Lyapunov stability theory. The proposed approach

This paper investigates the chaotification problem of a stable continuous-time T-S fuzzy system.A simple nonlinear state time-delay feedback controller is designed by parallel distributed compensation technique.Then,the asymptotically approximate relationship between the controlled continuous-time T-S fuzzy system with time-delay and a discrete-time T-S fuzzy system is established.Based on the discrete-time T-S fuzzy system,it proves that the chaos in the discretetime T-S fuzzy system satisfies the Li-Yorke definition by choosing appropriate controller parameters via the revised Marotto theorem.Finally,the effectiveness of the proposed chaotic anticontrol method is verified by a practical example. 相似文献

提出了一种实现加权网络时空混沌投影同步的方法.通过构造合适的Lyapunov函数,确定了加权网络中连接节点之间耦合函数的结构以及网络节点状态方程中分离配置的线性项的系数矩阵的取值范围.以Bragg声光双稳系统作为局域函数,单向耦合映像格子作为空间扩展系统构成激光时空混沌模型.通过仿真模拟检验了采用激光时空混沌模型作为网络节点的加权网络的投影同步效果.结果显示,对于任意的节点之间耦合强度的权重值,加权网络的投影同步均可以实现.

混沌系统的平均绝对误差增长最初是用来刻画初始值误差增长的,本文依照平均绝对误差增长的定义来研究模型误差的增长过程,获得了一些很有意义的结论.研究发现,在初期模型误差的平均绝对误差增长呈指数级增长,增长指数同模型的扰动相关,与真实系统最大Lyapunov指数没有直接关系.其后模型误差进入非线性增长过程,误差增长放缓,最终达到饱和.误差饱和值恒定,当真实系统和模型系统吸引子差别较小时,模型误差饱和值基本上同真实系统的初始值误差饱和值相等.利用上述研究结论可以求出模型的可预报期限,这在数值天气预报中具有重要的意义.进而利用模型的可预报期限可以对同一真实系统的不同模型进行评价,相对真实系统越精确的模型拥有更高的可预报期限.这对新模型的开发具有很强的指导作用. 相似文献
