The transmission of a TE microwave field with a frequency ω through Λ, T, and X waveguide junctions filled with a ferromagnetic is considered. These junctions are known to have bound states with below-cutoff frequencies. A probing microwave radiation with a frequency Ω applied to the scattering region generates magnetic oscillations with frequencies ω+nΩ (where n=0, ±1, ±2, ...), which resonantly combine with the bound waveguide states. This effect provides for a new method of studying bound waveguide states and efficiently controlling the transmission of microwave radiation.  相似文献

The microwave photoresistance of a double GaAs quantum well with two occupied size-quantization sub-bands E 1 and E 2 has been studied at the temperatures T = 1.6–4.2 K in the magnetic fields B < 0.5 T. The microwave photoresistance of such a system has been found to have a maximum amplitude when the maximum of the magneto-intersubband oscillations with the number k = (E 2E 1)ℏωc coincides with the maximum or minimum of the ω/ωc oscillations, where ω is the microwave frequency and ωc is the cyclotron frequency. It has been shown that the resonance photoresistance that appears in the kth maximum of the magneto-intersubband oscillations is determined by the condition ℏω/(E 2E 1) = (j ± 0.2)/k, where k and j are positive integers.  相似文献

Summary Within the generalized equilibrium statistics recently introduced by Tsallis (p n ∝[1−β(q−-1) εn ]1/(q−)), we calculate the thermal dependence of the specific heat corresponding to a harmonic-oscillator-like spectrum, namely ε n ω(n−α) (∀ω>0,n=0,1,2,...). The influences ofq and α are exhibited. Physically inaccessible and/or thermally frozen gaps are obtained in the low-temperature region, and, forq>1, oscillations are observed in the high-temperature region. The specific heat of the two-level system is also shown.  相似文献

The energy levels of fermions bound to the vortex core are considered for the general case of chiral superconductors. There are two classes of chiral superconductivity: in the class I superconducting state the axisymmetric singly quantized vortex has the same energy spectrum of bound states as in an s-wave superconductor: E=(n+1/2)ω0, with integral n. In class II the corresponding spectrum is E=nω0 and thus contains a state with exactly zero energy. The effect of a single impurity on the spectrum of bound states is also considered. For class I the spectrum acquires the doubled period ΔE=2ω0 and consists of two equidistant sets of levels, in accordance with A. I. Larkin and Yu. N. Ovchinnikov, Phys. Rev. B 57, 5457 (1998). For the class II states the spectrum is not influenced by a single impurity if the same approximation is applied. Pis’ma Zh. éksp. Teor. High-order correction terms to the expression of the field of ultra-short tightly focused Gaussian laser pulses are derived. Terms up to seventh order in the small dimensionless spatial parameter s=1/(k0w00) and first order in the small dimensionless temporal parameter ε=1/(ω0t0) are explicitly presented (ω0=ck0 the central oscillatory frequency, 2t0 the pulse duration, w00 the beam waist radius at the central frequency ω0). To evaluate the correction efficacy, both the corrected and the paraxial field equations are used in detailed simulation studies of laser/electron interaction dynamics. Special attention is given to the vacuum laser acceleration scheme. The influence on the electron dynamics due to the diffraction edge field of a tightly focused laser beam is also investigated. We define a map on the space of quasifree states of the CCR or CAR of more than one harmonic oscillator which increases entropy except at fixed points ofx. The map is the composition of a doubly stochastic map T* and the quasifree reductionQ. Under mixing conditions onT, iterates of take any initial state to the Gibbs state, provided that the oscillator frequencies are mutually rational. We give an example of a system with three degrees of freedom with energies 1, 2, and 3 mutually irrational, but obeying a relation n11+n22=n33,n i . The iterated Boltzmann map converges from an initial statep to independent Gibbs states of the three oscillators at betas (inverse temperatures) 1,2, 3 obeying the equation n111+n222=n333. The equilibrium state can be rewritten as a grand canonical state. We show that for two, three, or four fermions we can get the usual rate equations as a special case.  相似文献

We consider the conditions for four-wave decay of two primary plasmons with wave vector and frequency 0 close to the multiple gyroresonance frequency nBe into two secondary plasmons with frequencies 1 > 0 and 2 < 0. The secondary plasmons belong to the upper hybrid and the electron cyclotron branches. It is shown that the main features of the broad upshifted maximum (BUM) in the SEE spectrum can be explained in the context of the proposed process. The BUM feature appears in the region of frequencies having a positive shift from the high-power radio wave frequency. In particular the broad band nature of the BUM can be a result of the broad spectrum of wave number k0 of the primary plasma waves. In this case the observed cut-off frequency fcutoff limiting the BUM spectrum on the lower side can result from the lower bound of k0 (the increase in 1 corresponds to decay of shorter wave plasmons). In our approach we assume that the generation of primary plasma oscillations by the high-power radio wave and the conversion of secondary plasma waves into the electromagnetic waves is due to coherent scattering of corresponding waves by small-scale magnetic-field-aligned artificial irregularities or to another nonlinear processes.Published from Izvestiya Vysshikh Uchebnykh Zavedenii, Radiofizika, Vol. 39, No. 3, pp. 301–317, March, 1996.  相似文献

The temperature dependence of the hyperfine field of substitutional111Cd in antiferromagnetic CoO has been measured by means of the perturbed angular correlation technique. The Larmor frequency ωL is found to obey a power law ωL(t0 t β) up tot max=0.4 wheret=1−T/T N is the reduced temperature withT N=291.2(3) K and β=0.393 (5) the critical exponent. The results are discussed and compared with PAC experiments on111Cd in NiO and Ni and with results obtained by other methods.  相似文献

The magnetoresistance oscillations that occur in a two-dimensional electron system exposed to strong microwave radiation when the microwave frequency ω coincides with the nth subharmonic of the cyclotron frequency ω c have been investigated for n = 2, 3, and 4. It is shown that these subharmonic features can be explained within a nonequilibrium energy distribution function picture without invoking multiphoton absorption processes. The existence of a frequency threshold above which such oscillations disappear lends further support to this explanation. The text was submitted by the authors in English.  相似文献

We analyze two nonlinearly phase coupled oscillators with eigenfrequencies ω1and ω2, where n\gw1=m\gw2+\gp, with integern andm. For \gh=0 there are up to four stable synchronized states which differ from each other only by the difference of the oscillators\rs phases. The number of different synchronized states depends on the coupling constants. If \gh does not vanish phase shifts and frequency shifts may occur givig rise to stable synchronized states which also differ from each other due to the frequencies. By means of the center manifold theorem we calculate these shifts explicitely. Different coupling constants are investigated: symmetrical, homogenously asymmetrical and arbitrary coupling constants. Our results point out the decisive influence of the symmetry of the coupling constants upon the frequency and phase shifts. Moreover the local stability of the unperturbed synchronized state (i.e. for \gh=0) determines the magnitude of the frequency and phase shifts.  相似文献

Let ( n ) n 1 be a norm convergent sequence of normal states on a von Neumann algebraA with n . Let (k n ) n1 be a strongly convergent sequence of self-adjoint elements ofA withk n k. It is shown that the sequence of perturbed states converges in norm to . A related result holds forC *-algebras. A counter-example is provided to show that it is not sufficient to assume weak convergence of ( n ) n 1 even whenk n=k for alln. However, conditions are given which, together with weak convergence, are sufficient. Relative entropy methods are used, and a relative entropy inequality is proved.  相似文献

The spectrum of magnetoelastic waves propagating along the magnetic field in an in-plane magnetized ferromagnetic plate is numerically investigated in the exchangeless approximation. No restrictions are imposed either on the field pattern of backward volume magnetostatic waves (BVMSWs) or elastic waves supported by a plate of a given geometry across the plate or on the relationship between the sound velocity v S and the phase velocity of the magnetoelastic waves v=ω/q (ω is the frequency, q is the wave number). The resonance interaction of the BVMSWs and elastic waves is accompanied, as a rule, by the formation of “stop” bands δω that are proportional to the magnetoelastic coupling constant b. When the BVMSWs are in resonance with Lamb and shear elastic modes the values of the magnetoelastic gaps δω at vv S turn out to be of the same order. For vv S , the efficiency of the interaction between the BVMSWs and transverse Lamb modes is almost one order of magnitude higher. If the frequency spacing Δω between the elastic modes is smaller than the mag-netoelastic gap in the spectrum (Δω≤δω), which takes place, particularly, in the region of crowding the elastic mode spectrum (vv S), the resonant interaction results in mixing the dispersion laws for the elastic modes. Namely, a surface mode may transform into a volume one and a shear mode, into the Lamb mode or into a shear mode with another number. The resonance interaction of the shear and Lamb elastic modes not only forms the magnetoelastic gaps δω∼b 2 but also changes the efficiency of elastic wave coupling with the magnetic subsystem. This may show up as the coexistence of the effects of “repulsing” both the dispersion laws and the damping decrements of the elastic waves at the resonance frequency. It is shown that magnetostriction splits the cutoff frequencies of both transverse Lamb modes and shear modes, as well as the long-wave (q → 0) frequency limits f 0 of the BVMSW modes. This may cause the resonance interaction between BVMSW modes of equal evenness in a narrow frequency band Δ∼b near f 0.  相似文献

On the basis of the 4D momentum, the influence of quintessence on the gravitational frequency shift and the deflection of light are examined in modified Schwarzschild space. We find that the frequency of a photon depends on the state parameter of the quintessence w q: the frequency increases for −1<w q<−1/3 and decreases for −1/3<w q<0. Meanwhile, we adopt an integral power number a (a=3ω q+2) to solve the orbital equation of photon. The photon’s potentials become higher with the decrease of ω q. The behavior of the bending light sensitively depends on the state parameter ω q. In particular, for the case of ω q=−1, there is no influence on the deflection of light by quintessence. Furthermore, according to the H-masers of the GP-A redshift experiment and long-baseline interferometry, the constraints on the quintessence field in the solar system are presented here.  相似文献

Based on a theory developed previously, parametric interaction between space-charge waves in thin-film semiconductor structures with negative differential conductivity is analyzed. The analysis is carried out in the approximation that the drift flux of charge carriers has a rigid boundary and under the assumption that the frequency of low-frequency pumping equals the cutoff frequency f c of waves being amplified (f c roughly equals 30 GHz in our case). For asymmetric structures, a general multimode set of coupled equations is reduced to a pair of differential equations for the excitation amplitudes of the fundamental space-charge mode at the signal frequency ωs and idler frequency ωis−ωp. The equations are solved numerically for n-GaAs-based structures, and the solution obtained is discussed.  相似文献

An analytical expression I(ω) is obtained for a normalized function of the shape of an idealized nuclear quandrupole resonance nutation line of a powdered sample for spins I=3/2 (η≠0). Calculations are made of the initial moments <ωn> of the nutation spectrum of the powder in the form of functions of ω0=γB1 and the asymmetry parameter η of the electric field gradient tensor. A method is proposed for determining the spectral parameters η and eQqzz from the experimentally measured values of <ω>, <ω2>, <ω4>, and ω1/2 of the nuclear quadrupole resonance nutation spectrum of the powder. The linear theory of the two-beam instability of weak gyrating beams is investigated. Maximum growth rates of instabilities, instability limits and frequencies of unstable waves are numerically determined. The aperiodic instability withk z z0= c( z0 is the velocity of the beam along the magnetic field, c is the cyclotron frequency andk z is the longitudinal wave number) and the instability with= c/2 and withk z z0= c/2 possess greatest growth rates. Dependence of growth rates on longitudinal and transversal components of the wave vector is investigated in detail.  相似文献

An approach to study the frequency and temperature dependence of the bulk ionic conductivity, based on the log-log representation of the frequency response, is described. Experimental results obtained on -PbF2 thin-film samples are used to illustrate this approach. The analysis of these results permits to separate the different physical mechanisms involved and to model the cells. Using CPE (Constant Phase Element) Y=Y 0(j) n for the interfaces, but also for the bulk ionic conductance, permits to fit the experimental results. A progressive increase of the slope n of the admittance which corresponds to the bulk ionic conductivity is observed when the temperature decreases. A graphical method is described which can be used to determine the activation energy in this case of a CPE behavior of the conductance. It is based on the obtention of a unique curye which describes the frequency and temperature dependence of the reduced conductance G=Y r T plotted versus the reduced radial frequency u=. This curve shows the whole conductance variation which starts from pure transport with n=0 at low frequencies and high temperature, and tends for high frequencies or low temperatures toward the dielectric response (n1), corresponding to ion displacements limited to only one jump. The observed CPE behavior of the conductance at constant temperature thus appears to be the result of the very slow variation rate of the slope n of the reduced conductance versus the radial frequency.  相似文献

Using eigenmode analysis I calculate in the linear regime the emission characteristics from a slab of two-level resonant atoms excited by a delta-pulse propagating normal to the surface of the slab. I show that the qualitative features of the emitted spectra in the forward and backward directions to be different from each other; I also find the effects of the total linewidth of the resonance line and of the deviation in the spatial periodicity of the initial atomic polarization from k 0, where k 0 = ω0/c and ω0 is the two level resonant frequency, on the spectra. The dominant spatial mode of the system is identified as the key parameter for determining the forward emission spectral width.  相似文献

A nonlinear interaction of moving space-charge and photoconductivity gratings is experimentally investigated. In the presence of a dc electric field, a crystal is irradiated with an oscillating interference pattern with a spatial frequency K and an oscillation frequency ω. An ac electric field with a frequency \gM is also applied to the sample. At certain frequencies ω and \gM, the crystal exhibits two types of interacting oscillations: the space-charge grating moving with velocity |ω−Ω|/K and the photoconductivity grating moving with velocity −ω/K. The effect is studied using the method of the nonstationary photoelectromotive force in a photorefractive Bi12SiO20 crystal.  相似文献
