In this paper a new class of higher order (F,ρ,σ)-type I functions for a multiobjective programming problem is introduced, which subsumes several known studied classes. Higher order Mond-Weir and Schaible type dual programs are formulated for a nondifferentiable multiobjective fractional programming problem where the objective functions and the constraints contain support functions of compact convex sets in Rn. Weak and strong duality results are studied in both the cases assuming the involved functions to be higher order (F,ρ,σ)-type I. A number of previously studied problems appear as special cases. 相似文献

Schonbek [M.E. Schonbek, Convergence of solutions to nonlinear dispersive equations, Comm. Partial Differential Equations 7 (1982) 959-1000] obtained the strong convergence of uniform bounded approximate solutions to hyperbolic scalar equation under the assumption that the flux function is strictly convex. While in this paper, by constructing four families of Lax entropies, we succeed in dealing with the non-convexity with the aid of the well-known Bernstein-Weierstrass theorem, and obtaining the strong convergence of uniform L∞ or bounded viscosity solutions for scalar conservation law without convexity. 相似文献

Given a hyperplane arrangement in an affine space equipped with a linear functional, we define two finite-dimensional, noncommutative algebras, both of which are motivated by the geometry of hypertoric varieties. We show that these algebras are Koszul dual to each other, and that the roles of the two algebras are reversed by Gale duality. We also study the centers and representation categories of our algebras, which are in many ways analogous to integral blocks of category O. 相似文献

We construct an example of a Banach space which is not lush, but whose dual space is lush. This example shows that lushness is not equivalent to numerical index one. A characterization of lushness for some quotient spaces of L1(μ) spaces and new results on C-rich subspaces of (scalar- or vector-valued) C(K) spaces are also presented. 相似文献

In this paper, we introduce new versions of ?-dual problems of a vector quasi-equilibrium problem with set-valued maps, and we give an ?-duality result between approximate solutions of the primal and dual problems. As the first application of the main result, we obtain an ?-duality for a vector quasi-equilibrium problem whose ?-solutions are understood in the sense of proper efficiency. We adapt recent results of Albrecht and Ricker to obtain conditions under which growth constraints on the left resolvent of a Banach space operator are preserved under suitable perturbations. As an application, we establish Bishop's property (β) for certain generalized Cesàro operators on the classical Hardy spaces Hp, 1<p<∞. Our methods also apply to unilateral weighted shifts whose weight sequence converges sufficiently rapidly as well as to perturbations of restrictions of a class of generalized scalar operators. 相似文献

In this paper, we first give several operator identities involving the bivariate Rogers-Szegö polynomials. By applying the technique of parameter augmentation to the multiple q-binomial theorems given by Milne [S.C. Milne, Balanced summation theorems for U(n) basic hypergeometric series, Adv. Math. 131 (1997) 93-187], we obtain several new multiple q-series identities involving the bivariate Rogers-Szegö polynomials. These include multiple extensions of Mehler's formula and Rogers's formula. Our U(n+1) generalizations are quite natural as they are also a direct and immediate consequence of their (often classical) known one-variable cases and Milne's fundamental theorem for An or U(n+1) basic hypergeometric series in Theorem 1.49 of [S.C. Milne, An elementary proof of the Macdonald identities for , Adv. Math. 57 (1985) 34-70], as rewritten in Lemma 7.3 on p. 163 of [S.C. This work is a continuation of our previous work, in the present paper we study the generalized nonlinear initial-boundary Riemann problem with small BV data for linearly degenerate quasilinear hyperbolic systems of conservation laws with nonlinear boundary conditions in a half space . We prove the global existence and uniqueness of piecewise C1 solution containing only contact discontinuities to a class of the generalized nonlinear initial-boundary Riemann problem, which can be regarded as a small BV perturbation of the corresponding nonlinear initial-boundary Riemann problem, for general n×n linearly degenerate quasilinear hyperbolic system of conservation laws; moreover, this solution has a global structure similar to the one of the self-similar solution to the corresponding nonlinear initial-boundary Riemann problem. Some applications to quasilinear hyperbolic systems of conservation laws arising in the string theory and high energy physics are also given. 相似文献

We study degree sequences for simplicial posets and polyhedral complexes, generalizing the well-studied graphical degree sequences. Here we extend the more common generalization of vertex-to-facet degree sequences by considering arbitrary face-to-flag degree sequences. In particular, these may be viewed as natural refinements of the flag f-vector of the poset. We investigate properties and relations of these generalized degree sequences, proving linear relations between flag degree sequences in terms of the composition of rank jumps of the flag. As a corollary, we recover an f-vector inequality on simplicial posets first shown by Stanley. 相似文献

We give explicit constructions of sets S with the property that for each integer k, there are at most g solutions to k=s1+s2,si∈S; such sets are called Sidon sets if g=2 and generalized Sidon sets if g?3. We extend to generalized Sidon sets the Sidon-set constructions of Singer, Bose, and Ruzsa. We also further optimize Kolountzakis’ idea of interleaving several copies of a Sidon set, extending the improvements of Cilleruelo, Ruzsa and Trujillo, Jia, and Habsieger and Plagne. The resulting constructions yield the largest known generalized Sidon sets in virtually all cases. 相似文献
