In this paper, we present the separability criteria to identify non-k-separability and genuine multipartite entanglement in mixed multipartite states using elements of density matrices. Our criteria can detect the non-k-separability of Dicke class of states, anti W states and mixtures thereof and higher dimensional W class of states. We then investigate the performance of our criteria by considering N-qubit Dicke states with arbitrary excitations added with white noise and mixture of N-qudit W state with white noise. We also study the robustness of our criteria against white noise. Further, we demonstrate that our criteria are experimentally implementable by means of local observables such as Pauli matrices and generalized Gell-Mann matrices.  相似文献

We show that any N-qubit state which is diagonal in the Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger basis is full N-qubit entangled state if and only if no partial transpose of the multiqubit state is positive with respect to any partition.  相似文献

Recently Zhu (Int. J. Theor. Phys. 53, 4095, 2014) had shown that using GHZ-like states as quantum channel, it is possible to teleport an arbitrary unknown two-qubit state. We investigate this channel for the teleportation of an arbitrary N-qubit state. The strict proof through mathematical induction is presented and the rule for the receiver to reconstruct the desired state is explicitly derived in the most general case. We also discuss that if a system of quantum secret sharing of classical message is established, our protocol can be transformed to a N-qubit perfect controlled teleportation scheme from the controller’s point of view.  相似文献

In this work, we study the so-called quantitative complementarity quantities. We focus in the following physical situation: two qubits (q A and q B ) are initially in a maximally entangled state. One of them (q B ) interacts with a N-qubit system (R). After the interaction, projective measurements are performed on each of the qubits of R, in a basis that is chosen after independent optimization procedures: maximization of the visibility, the concurrence, and the predictability. For a specific maximization procedure, we study in detail how each of the complementary quantities behave, conditioned on the intensity of the coupling between q B and the N qubits. We show that, if the coupling is sufficiently “strong,” independent of the maximization procedure, the concurrence tends to decay quickly. Interestingly enough, the behavior of the concurrence in this model is similar to the entanglement dynamics of a two qubit system subjected to a thermal reservoir, despite that we consider finite N. However, the visibility shows a different behavior: its maximization is more efficient for stronger coupling constants. Moreover, we investigate how the distinguishability, or the information stored in different parts of the system, is distributed for different couplings.  相似文献

We propose an entanglement measure for pure M ? N bipartite quantum states. We obtain the measure by generalizing the equivalent measure for a 2 ? 2 system, via a 2 ? 3 system, to the general bipartite case. The measure emphasizes the role Bell states have, both for forming the measure and for experimentally measuring the entanglement. The form of the measure is similar to the generalized concurrence. In the case of 2 ? 3 systems, we prove that our measure, which is directly measurable, equals the concurrence. It is also shown that, in order to measure the entanglement, it is sufficient to measure the projections of the state onto a maximum of M(M ? 1)N(N ? 1)/2 Bell states.  相似文献

The idea of secure quantum information exchange (SQIE) [J. Phys. B: At. Mol. Opt. Phys.44, 115504 (2011)] is introduced for the secure exchange of single qubit information states between two legitimate users, Alice and Bob. In the present paper, we extend this original SQIE protocol by presenting a scheme, which enables the secure exchange of n-single qubit information states among the n nodes of a quantum network, with the aid of a special kind of 4n-qubit entangled state and the classical assistance of an extra participant Charlie. For experimental realization of our extended SQIE protocol, we suggest an efficient scheme for the generation of a special kind of 4n-qubit entangled state using the interaction between highly detuned Λ-type three-level atoms and optical coherent field. Further, by discussing the various experimental parameters, we show that the special kind 4n-qubit entangled state can be generated with the presently available technology.  相似文献

A new protocol of bidirectional quantum teleportation (BQT) is proposed in which the users can transmit a class of n-qubit state to each other simultaneously, by using (2n + 2)-qubit entangled states as quantum channel. The state of the art approaches can only transmit two-qubit states in each round. This scheme is based on control-not operation, single-qubit measurements and appropriate single-qubit unitary operations. It is shown that the protocol is secure in preparation phase.  相似文献

We review the quantizer–dequantizer formalism of constructing symbols of the density operators and quantum observables, such as Wigner functions and tomographic-probability distributions. We present a tutorial consideration of the technique of obtaining minimal sets of dequantizers (quorum) related to the observable eigenvalues for one-qubit states. We discuss a generalization of the quantizer–dequantizer scheme on the example of spin-1/2 states. We consider the possibilities of extending the results to two-qubit systems using spin tomograms of the state density matrix.  相似文献

We give a new construction of symbols of the differential operators on the sections of a quantum line bundle L over a Kähler manifold M using the natural contravariant connection on L. These symbols are the functions on the tangent bundle TM polynomial on fibres. For high tensor powers of L, the asymptotics of the composition of these symbols leads to the star product of a deformation quantization with separation of variables on TM corresponding to some pseudo-Kähler structure on TM. Surprisingly, this star product is intimately related to the formal symplectic groupoid with separation of variables over M. We extend the star product on TM to generalized functions supported on the zero section of TM. The resulting algebra of generalized functions contains an idempotent element which can be thought of as a natural counterpart of the Bergman projection operator. Using this idempotent, we define an algebra of Toeplitz elements and show that it is naturally isomorphic to the algebra of Berezin-Toeplitz deformation quantization on M.  相似文献

We study correlated states in circular and linear-chain configurations of identical two-level atoms containing the energy of a single quasi-resonant photon in the form of a collective excitation, where the collective behavior is mediated by exchange of transverse photons between the atoms. For a circular atomic configuration containing N atoms, the collective energy eigenstates can be determined by group-theoretical means making use of the fact that the configuration possesses a cyclic symmetry group Z N . For these circular configurations, the carrier spaces of the various irreducible representations of the symmetry group are at most two-dimensional, so that the effective Hamiltonian on the radiationless subspace of the system can be diagonalized analytically. As a consequence, the radiationless energy eigenstates carry a Z N quantum number p = 0, 1, …, N, which is analogous to the angular momentum quantum number l = 0, 1, … carried by particles propagating in a central potential, such as a hydrogen-like system. Just as the hydrogen s states are the only electronic wave functions that can occupy the central region of the Coulomb potential, the quasi-particle corresponding to a collective excitation of the circular atomic sample can occupy the central atom only for vanishing Z N quantum number p. When a central atom is present, the p = 0 state splits into two, showing level crossing at certain radii; in the regions between these radii, damped oscillations between two “ extreme” p = 0 states occur, where the excitation occupies either the outer atoms or the central atom only. For large numbers of atoms in a maximally subradiant state, a critical interatomic distance of λ/2 emerges both in the linear-chain and in the circular configuration of atoms. The spontaneous decay rate of the linear configuration exhibits a jumplike “critical” behavior for next-neighbor distances close to a half-wavelength. Furthermore, both the linear-chain and the circular configurations exhibit exponential photon trapping once the next-neighbor distance becomes less than a half-wavelength, with the suppression of spontaneous decay being particularly pronounced in the circular system. In this way, circular configurations containing sufficiently many atoms may be natural candidates for single-photon traps.  相似文献

The preliminary LEP2 data on e+e?l+l? scattering are analyzed to establish a model-independent search for the signals of virtual states of the Abelian Z′ boson. The recently introduced observables make it possible to pick up uniquely the Abelian Z′ signals in these processes. Themean values of the observables are in accordance with the Z′ existence. However, the accuracy of the experimental data is deficient to detect the signal at more than a 1σ C.L. The results of other model-independent fits and further prospects are discussed.  相似文献

Trajectories for the S-wave pole of the scattering amplitude are constructed in the complex planes of the resonance momentum and of the renormalized vertex constant squared. They correspond to transitions from the resonance states to the virtual states of the singlet deuteron and the doublet triton while the Coulomb interaction gradually decreases to zero. The effective-range theory and a Yukawa-potential model are used. Physical reasons for the differences between the corresponding trajectories for Np and Nd systems are found. The results obtained explain why the resonances in the doublet Nd scattering are more difficult to detect in experiments in comparison with the well-studied singlet NN resonances.  相似文献

We study observables on monotone σ-complete effect algebras. We find conditions when a spectral resolution implies existence of the corresponding observable. We characterize sharp observables of a monotone σ-complete homogeneous effect algebra using its orthoalgebraic skeleton. In addition, we study compatibility in orthoalgebras and we show that every orthoalgebra satisfying RIP is an orthomodular poset.  相似文献

A method for calculating electric quadrupole moments of light nuclei and probabilities of electric quadrupole transitions in them in the multiquantum approximation of the orthogonal scheme is proposed. Specific calculations of these quantities are performed for the 4 8 Be nucleus with allowance for all U(3(A ? 1)) states characterized by the λ = [44] Young diagram, the quantum numbers K min and K min + 2 of the O(3A ? 1)) group, and the number E = K + 2N (N = 0, 1, …, 9) of oscillator quanta. It is shown that an extension of the basis from the E = K min to the E = K min + 2 approximation leads to an increase of 15 to 45% in the electric quadrupole moments and to an increase in the transition probabilities B(E2) by a factor of 1.6 to 2.8. The inclusion of E = K + 2N (N = 0, 1, …), states involving multiquantum excitations (ρ excitations) increases additionally the results by 10 to 30%. The results of these calculations are compared with their counterparts obtained in the multiquantum approximation of the unitary scheme.  相似文献

With the non-Abelian hyper-Kähler quotient by U(M) and SU(M) gauge groups, we give the massive hyper-Kähler sigma models that are not toric in the N=1 superfield formalism. The U(M) quotient gives N!/[M!(N-M)!] (N is the number of flavors) discrete vacua that may allow various types of domain walls, whereas the SU(M) quotient gives no discrete vacua. We derive a BPS domain-wall solution in the case of N = 2 and M = 1 in the U(M) quotient model.  相似文献

We investigate circular motion of neutral test particles on equatorial plane near a black hole in scalar-tensor-vector gravity. We consider three cases (i) α < G/GN (ii) α = G/GN and (iii) α > G/GN to find the regions where motion can exist. The corresponding effective potential, energy, angular momentum and center of mass energy are evaluated. Further, we define four different cases for α > G/GN and identify stable and unstable regions of circular orbits. It is found that circular orbits having zero angular momentum exist at r = αGNM due to repulsive gravity effects. We conclude that the structure of stable regions for α < G/GN as well as α = G/GN case is completely different from that of α > G/GN.  相似文献

We study interacting condensates in anisotropic traps. Employing a two-level mean-field theory, which is valid provided the interaction energy is much smaller than ?ωx and ?ωy and the number of particles N is much larger than unity, we see that even a small interaction can drastically modify the dynamics of the system as predicted by García-Ripoll et al. [Phys. Rev. Lett. 87, 140403 (2001)]. In the present work, we supplement the discussion of the previous work and point out the important role of coupling between population difference and phase difference between two p states in the x and y directions. We also explore the stability of the vortex state for small systems with NO(1), for which the mean-field theory is inapplicable. We performed the full quantum mechanical calculations using up to six single-particle states and showed that, when N is comparable to unity, quantum tunneling between the vortex and antivortex states can occur even though the interaction coefficient is so large that the vortex-antivortex oscillation is prohibited within the mean-field theory.  相似文献

Finite Hamiltonian systems contain operators of position, momentum, and energy, having a finite number N of equally-spaced eigenvalues. Such systems are under the æis of the algebra su(2), and their phase space is a sphere. Rigid motions of this phase space form the group SU(2); overall phases complete this to U(2). But since N-point states can be subject to U(N) ?U(2) transformations, the rest of the generators will provide all N 2 unitary transformations of the states, which appear as nonlinear transformations—aberrations—of the system phase space. They are built through the “finite quantization” of a classical optical system.  相似文献
