We introduce new kinds of states of quantized radiation fields,which are the superpositions of megative binomial states.They exhibit remarkable nonclassical properties and reduce to Schrodinger cat states in a certain limit.The algebras involved in the even and odd negative binomial states turn out to be generally deformed oscillator algebras.It is found that the even and odd negative binomial states satisfy the same eigenvalue equation with the same eigenvalue and they can be viewed as two-photon nonlinear coherent states.Two methods of generating such the states are proposed.  相似文献

We introduce excited binomial states and excited negative binomial states of theradiation field by repeated application of the photon creation operator on binomialstates and negative binomial states. They reduce to Fock states and excitedcoherent states in certain limits and can be viewed as intermediate states betweenFock states and coherent states. We find that both the excited binomial statesand excited negative binomial states can be exactly normalized in terms ofhypergeometric functions. Base on this interesting characteristic, some of thestatistical properties are discussed.  相似文献

In this paper we investigate the odd binomialstate, which interpolates between odd number and oddcoherent states. We discuss the statistical propertiesof the Glauber second-order correlation function and squeezing phenomena (normal squeezing andamplitude-squared squeezing). The phase properties inPegg-Barnett formalism are considered, and thequasiprobability distribution functions are examined.The dynamics of the Jaynes-Cummings model and theresonance fluorescence are also discussed.  相似文献

The odd excited negative binomial states are introduced using the photon creation operator by repeated application on negative binomialstates. These states interpolate between the odd displaced Fock states and the odd excited pure thermal states. In this paper both squeezing phenomena (normal squeezing and amplitude squared squeezing) are discussed. Besides discussion of the Glauber second-order correlation function, investigations are carried out for the quasi-probability distribution functions (Wigner function and Q-function). Finally the Pegg-Barnett phase probability distribution is computed for these states.  相似文献

In this paper a new state called odd-excited binomial state (OEBS) is introduced. It interpolates between the odd number state and the odd-excited coherent state. We present a model of interaction between a four-level atom and the cavity field initially prepared in the coherent state in the presence of the phase damping effect. We discuss the atom–field entanglement and statistical properties under the damping effect in view of numerical calculations. We use the Mandel parameter as a quantifier of the statistical properties of the field; moreover, we study the different effects of the collective parameters in the master equation on the dynamical behavior of the field statistical properties and the entanglement measured by the negativity. Finally, we explore the link between the entanglement and statistical properties in view of the numerical results during the time evolution.  相似文献

In this paper, we establish the relationship between the (generalized) quantum operation $\varPhi_{\mathcal{A}}$ and its dual $\varPhi_{\mathcal {A}}^{\dag}$ with respect to the set of fixed points and the noiseless subspace. In particular, we also partially characterize the extreme points of the set of all (generalized) quantum operations and give some equivalent conditions for the correctable quantum channel.  相似文献

In the present work, we devised an interaction model between a quantum nanoelectromechanical system (QNEMS) and a quantum bit (QBit), such that the effective Hamiltonian of the model results in a parametric oscillator. The implication is that the statistical properties of the QNEMS modes are dynamical, leading to bunching and antibunching of phonons. In this paper, we introduce a new kind of higher-order squeezing and an antibunching effect. The quantum statistical properties of the k states are studied. In this paper, we use the numerical method to study the influences of q and s deformations on the quantum statistical Properties of even and odd qs-coherent states. It is shown that nonclassical properties of the even and odd qs-coherent states are very different from those of the usual even and odd coherent states. It is found that squeezing and antibunching effect appear for both even and odd qs-coherent states in some range of the parameters q, s and r. The smaller the q (q < 1) and s are, the.Jarger the difference between the even and odd qs-coherent states and the usual even and odd coherent states is.  相似文献

The dynamical evolutions of atomic population inversion, field entropy, Q function, and phase distribution are investigated in detail. In this paper, we consider the interaction between the two-level atom and the electromagnetic field modes initially prepared in coherent states associated with the generalized Heisenberg algebra (GHA). We investigate the dynamical behavior of the field purity, Pancharatnam phase, and atomic-population inversion. Based on the GHA, we study the statistical properties of the field state through the evolution of the Mandel parameter and examine the effects of the initial atomic state setting and the number of transiting photons. The results show that the GHA-coherent-state strength has the potential to affect the time evolution of the field purification, the Pancharatnam phase, and the Mandel parameter.  相似文献
