A spin-parity 1+?π enhancement is observed for the 3π mass spectrum in the reaction K?p → Σ?π+π+π? where events with a small (K?Σ?) momentum transfer are selected. The mass (1040 MeV) and width (230 MeV) of this enhancement are reminiscent of the A1 bump which has mainly been observed in the diffractive-like processes. The cross section for this enhancement at 4.15 GeV/c incident K? momentum is (3.6 ± 0.5) μb.  相似文献

We have performed an energy-independent phase-shift analysis of πN → KΣ by analyzing differential cross-section and polarization data for the reactions π+p → K++ and
at fifteen energies from threshold to 2137 MeV invariant mass. The single-energy solutions were linked by shortest-path methods with and without constraints implied by the Odorico zeros for the reaction π?p → K+Σ?. Similar to π?p → KΛ it has been found that both isostates are dominated below 1900 MeV by resonances in the spin 12 waves. The F37 resonance couples to KΣ with √xπNxKΣ= 0.04.  相似文献

A (Kππ)+ mass enhancement is observed in the reactions K?p → Ξ ?Ko+π+πo? when events with a small (K?Ξ?) four momentum transfer squared are selected. The signal is also visible in the reaction K?p → Ξ?π++ neutrals. The enhancement, centered at 1.28 GeV, is seen to decay preferentially into K? with spin-parity JP = 1+. The cross section for K?p→ Ξ?C+(1.28) with C+ → K? at 4.15 GeV/c incident K? momentum is (6.2 ± 0.6) μb.  相似文献

We present results of a K?d bubble-chamber experiment at four K? momenta between 680 and 840 MeV/c. The validity of the spectator model for the analysisof KN interactions in deuterium is discussed. Cross sections are determined for the reactions K?p → Σ?π+, K?p → Σ+π? and K?p → Λπ+π? and are compared to those obtain ed on free protons.  相似文献

We present the final results on the measurement of the masses and lifetimes of the mesonsD 0,D + andD s + in the NA32 experiment at the CERN SPS, using silicon microstrip detectors and charge-coupled devices for vertex reconstruction. We measure the following lifetimes: \(\tau _{D^0 } = 3.88 \pm _{0.21}^{0.23} \cdot 10^{ - 13} s\) using a sample of 479D°→K ?π+π?π+ and 162D°→K ?π+ decays; \(\tau _{D^ + } = 10.5 \pm _{0.72}^{0.77} \cdot 10^{ - 13} s\) with a sample of 317D +K ?π+π+ decays; \(\tau _{D_s^ + } = 4.69 \pm _{0.86}^{1.02} \cdot 10^{ - 13} s\) with a sample of 54D s + K + K ?π+ decays. We measure the following masses:m D 0=1864.6±0.3±1.0 MeV,m D +=1870.0±0.5±1.0 MeV and \(m_{D_s^ + } \) =1967.0±1.0±1.0 MeV.  相似文献

The NA 32 experiment at the CERN SPS has collected 38 million hadronic interactions with incident 200 GeV/c π?,K ? andp beam. Using a segmented silicon active target and a telescope of high resolution silicon microstrip counters we have selected fully reconstructedD 0K ?π+,D 0K ?π+π+π?,D +K ?π+π+,D s + K ? K +π+π+ and charge conjugate decays. The integrated cross-sections forD o,D + D *+ andD s + meson production and the dependence of the cross-section on longitudinal and transverse momentum of theD are presented.  相似文献

We present the first spin-parity analysis of the K+K+K?) system produced in the reaction K+p → K+K+K?p, and show that the general features of this system resemble those of the (ππ+π?) and Kπ+π?) systems produced in the reactions π(K)p → π(K)π+π?p. There is a low mass enhancement, (47 ± 11)% of which corresponds to 1+ states decaying to Kø. At higher (K+K+K?) masses 2? → Kf′ becomes increasingly significant and at all masses there is a 0? contribution of roughly 30%.  相似文献

An event with the decay chain Σc+Λc+ + π0, Λc+ → K? + p + π+, has been observed in an exposure of BEBC, equipped with a track sensitive target, to the wide band neutrino beam from the SPS at CERN. The event has a unique three constraint kinematic fit to the ΔS = ?ΔQ reaction v + p → μ? + p + K? + π+ + π+ + π0 with both gammas from the π0 decay detected. The proton and other final state particles are identified. The masses are M(Λc+) = 2290 ± 3 MeV/c2, M(Σc+) = 2457 ± 4 MeV/c2 and M(Σc+) ? M(Λc+) = 168 ± 3 MeV/c2. Including other data one obtains M (Σc++) ? M(Σc+) = 0 ± 4 MeV/c2.  相似文献

Three enhancements are observed in the final state ω°π+π+π++π?π? selected from the channel pp → 3π+? π° at 715 MeV/c: one in ω°π± at 1040 MeV (~ ≈ 55MeV) ω°π+π?, respectively near 1315 MeV (~ ≈ 100 MeV) and 1405 MeV (~ ≈ 40 MeV). The first two effects are strongly correlated and are interpreted in terms of a sequential decay A°2 through a new object, the B1. The second (ωππ) enhancement seems to be an ?°?° effect below threshold and is attributed to a pionic decay of the KK)I=1 effect seen around the same mass in other reactions.  相似文献

The results on the impact parameter for the reactions π?p→pπ+π?π?, pK+K?π?, with a fast secondary forward proton are given at 9 and 12 GeV/c. For the reaction π?p→pπ+π?π? our results corresponding to the small |u| region (|u| < 1 GeV2) are compared to the existing data for the small |t| region. We present results of a spin-parity analysis of the system from threshold to 1.52 MeV based on 12 500 events of the type K?p→K?π+π?πop at 7.3 GeV/c. We also present evidence for a possible resonant state decaying into at a mass 1710 ± 15 MeV and width 110 ± 50 MeV.  相似文献

From a study of 70 000 K° decays in the CERN 2m hydrogen bubble chamber, we have estimated the rate for KS0π+π?γ for different cuts in the γ momentum. The results are in good agreement with inner bremsstrahlung on KS0π+π?. For γ momentum in the K° c.m. greater than 50 MeV/c, we obtain the branching ratio: Γ(KSπ+π?γ, k>50 MeV/c)/Γ(KSπ+π?)=(2.8. ± 0.6)×10?3. This leads to an estimate for the direct γ emission process: Γ(KSπ+π?γ direct)/Γ(KSπ+π?)=(0.3 ± 0.6) × 10?3.  相似文献

The reactions π?d → K+ + MM and K?d → π+ + MM have been studied at 1.4 GeV/c to search for strange dibaryon states with quantum numbers Q = ?1, and S = ?1. No structures are found which could indicate the production of such states and upper limits for the cross sections are established.  相似文献

Results are presented for p → (ΛK+) dissociation in the reactions K?p → ΛK+K? and and π±p → ΛK+π±at 10 and 16 GeV/c. The cross sections for the low-mass ΛK+ enhancement are compatible with the energy dependence σplab?0.3. The t′ spectra or the (ΛK+) threshold enhancement are exponential in shape. Its decay angular distribution reveals neither s-channel nor t-channel helicity conservation. The relative probabilities of the processes pp, p → (Nπ)I=12and p → (ΛK+) dissociation are in the ratios 100 : 10 : 0.2, independent of the nature of the incident particle.  相似文献

The cross section of the process e + e ? → π+π? was measured in the spherical neutral detector experiment at the VEPP-2M collider in the energy region $400 < \sqrt s < 1000 MeV$ . This measurement was based on about 12.4 × 106 selected collinear events, which include 7.4 × 106 e + e ?e + e ?, 4.5 × 106 e + e ? → π+π?, and 0.5 × 106 e + e ? → μ+μ? selected events. The systematic uncertainty of cross section determination is 1.3%. The ρ-meson parameters were determined as m ρ = 774.9±0.4±0.5 MeV, Γ ρ = 146.5±0.8±1.5 MeV, and σ(ρ → π+π?) = 1220 ± 7 ± 16 nb and the parameters of the G-parity suppressed decay ω → π+π? as σ(ω → π+π?) = 29.9 ± 1.4 ± 1.0 nb and φρω = 113.5±1.3±1.7°.  相似文献

Production of charmed particles has been investigated at √s = 63 GeV usi ng the Lampshade Magnet detector triggered by electrons and positrons emitted at 30% from the ISR beam axis. The results of a search for Λc and Λc signals in the K?+ and K+pπ? channels are presented. Evidence is presented for a newK * \(\bar K\) +c.c. resonance with a mass of (1,526±6) MeV, a width of (107±15) MeV and quantum numbersIJ PC=01++. We call itD′ meson. Initially it is observed as aK * \(\bar K\) +c.c. enhancement in the reactionsK ? p→(K s 0 K ±π?)Λ at 4.2 GeV/c. The isospin assignmentI=0 comes from its further observation in the reactionsK ? p→(K s 0 K ±π?)Σ 0 andK ? p→(K s 0 K ±π?)Σ(1,385)0 but not inK ? p→(K + K ?π?+ orK ? p→(K s 0 K ±π?)Σ(1,385)+. A maximum likelihood analysis of the (K \(\bar K\) π) decay Dalitz plots in the reactionsK ? p→(K s 0 K ±π?) determines theJ PC of theD′ meson to be 1++. A satisfactorySU(3) fit is obtained to a 1++ nonet composed of theI-1A 1, theI=1/2Q A with theD(1,285) and theD′(1,526) as theI=0 members having a mixing angle close to the magic one.  相似文献

The hadronic decay of B s 0 π + π ? is analyzed by using “QCD factorization” (QCDF) method and final-state interaction (FSI). First, the B s 0 π + π ? decay is calculated via QCDF method and the annihilation graphs only exist in this method. Hence, the FSI must be seriously considered to solve the B s 0 π + π ? decay and the K +(*) K ?(*) and \(K^{0(*)} K^{\bar 0(*)}\) via the exchange of K 0(*) and K ?(*) mesons are chosen for the intermediate states. To estimate the intermediate state amplitudes, the QCDF method is again used. These amplitudes are used in the absorptive part of the diagrams. The experimental branching ratio of B s 0 π + π ? decay is less than 1.2 × 10?6 and our results according to the QCDF method and FSI are 0.68 × 10?8 and 1.18 × 10?6, respectively.  相似文献

Theγ-decays of levels in26Mg have been investigated up to 12.5 MeV excitation energy by proton-γ-ray coincidence measurements in the23Na(α, pγ) reaction at 14.2 and 16 MeV bombarding energy. Lifetime-measurements, made with the Doppler-shift attenuation method, and proton-γ-ray angular-correlation measurements were performed at Eα=14.2 MeV. Many high-spin states were observed, among them levels at 6,978 (5+), 7,283(4?), 7,395(5+), 7,953(5?), 8,202(6+), 8,472(6+), 9,065(5), 9,112(6+), 9,169(6?), 9,383 (6+), 9,542(5), 9,829(7+), 9,989(6+) and 12,479(8+, 7?) keV excitation energy. The spectrum of positive-parity states and their electromagnetic properties are reproduced with good accuracy by shell-model calculations which employ a unifieds-d shell Hamiltonian and the unrestricted configuration space of the 0d 5/2 1s 1/2 0d 3/2 shell. Members of five inferred rotational bands, withK π=0+, 2+, 3+, 0+ and 3? have been observed up to at leastI=6. TheK π=2+ band shows strong anomalies of excitation energies andE2 transition rates near theI=6 state. The static intrinsic quadrupole moments calculated from the shell model wave functions indicate transitions from prolate to oblate deformation within theK π=2+ band and also the ground state band. The lowest lyingI π=4+ state appears to be “spherical” and cannot be associated with a rotational band.  相似文献
