如何利用实际的物理系统存贮光子的量子信息,是当前量子计算和量子通信研究的核心问题之一,近几年来,人们从理论和实验两个方面探讨了利用自由原子系综作为量子记忆体的可能性,最近,基于固定于格点上A型“原子”系综的准自旋波激发的研究,我们提出了实现光子信息量子存贮的新方案,这个方案的目标是为了克眼自由原子系综量子存贮方案中存在的量子态漏损诱导退相干的致命问题,在研究过程中,作者发现了系综型量子记忆体中隐藏动力学的对称性和其绝热暗态演化的选择定则,为了使读者能确切地了解这个工作的意义,文章除了报道这个发表在Physical Review Letters(2003,91:147903)的研究工作外,还扼要地介绍这个方案建立的前期关于原子系综对称集体激发的系列工作。 相似文献

The remote implementation of all possible generalized quantum measurement on single atomic qubit in a quantum network 下载免费PDF全文
To implement generalized quantum measurement (GQM) one has to extend
the original Hilbert space. Generally speaking, the additional
dimensions of the ancilla space increase as the number of the
operators of the GQM n increases. This paper presents a scheme for
deterministically implementing all possible n-operator GQMs on a
single atomic qubit by using only one 2-dimensional ancillary atomic
qubit repeatedly, which remarkably reduces the complexity of the
realistic physical system. Here the qubit is encoded in the internal states
of an atom trapped in an optical cavity and single-photon pulses are
employed to provide the interaction between qubits. It shows that
the scheme can be performed remotely, and thus it is suitable for
implementing GQM in a quantum network. What is more, the number of the
total ancilla dimensions in our scheme achieves the theoretic low

In this paper,two information leakage resistant quantum dialogue(QD)protocols over a collective-noise channel are proposed.Decoherence-free subspace(DFS)is used to erase the influence from two kinds of collective noise,i.e.,collective-dephasing noise and collective-rotation noise,where each logical qubit is composed of two physical qubits and free from noise.In each of the two proposed protocols,the secret messages are encoded on the initial logical qubits via two composite unitary operations.Moreover,the single-photon measurements rather than the Bell-state measurements or the more complicated measurements are needed for decoding,making the two proposed protocols easier to implement.The initial state of each logical qubit is privately shared between the two authenticated users through the direct transmission of its auxiliary counterpart.Consequently,the information leakage problem is avoided in the two proposed protocols.Moreover,the detailed security analysis also shows that Eve’s several famous active attacks can be effectively overcome,such as the Trojan horse attack,the intercept-resend attack,the measure-resend attack,the entangle-measure attack and the correlation-elicitation(CE)attack. 相似文献

We study the propagation of two quantized optical fields via considering the collective effects of photonic emissions and excitations of a three-level cyclic-type system (such as atomic ensemble with symmetry broken, or the chiral molecular gases, or manual “atomic” array with symmetry broken), where the quantum transitions is driven by two quantized fields and a classical one. The results show that the parametric conversion and maximally entangled photon pair generation can be achieved by means of the collective excitation of the two upper energy levels induced by the classic optical field. This investigation may be used for the generated coherent short-wavelength quantum radiation and quantum information processing. 相似文献

We review recent developments in the theory of quantum dynamics in ultracold atomic physics, including exact techniques and methods based on phase-space mappings that are applicable when the complexity becomes exponentially large. Phase-space representations include the truncated Wigner, positive-P and general Gaussian operator representations which can treat both bosons and fermions. These phase-space methods include both traditional approaches using a phase-space of classical dimension, and more recent methods that use a non-classical phase-space of increased dimensionality. Examples used include quantum Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen (EPR) entanglement of a four-mode BEC, time-reversal tests of dephasing in single-mode traps, BEC quantum collisions with up to 106 modes and 105 interacting particles, quantum interferometry in a multi-mode trap with nonlinear absorption, and the theory of quantum entropy in phase-space. We also treat the approach of variational optimization of the sampling error, giving an elementary example of a nonlinear oscillator. 相似文献

We examine in detail the quantum memory technique for photons in a
double Λ atomic ensemble in this work. The novel
application of the present technique to create two different
quantum probe fields as well as entangled states of them is
proposed. A larger zero-degeneracy class besides dark-state
subspace is investigated and the adiabatic condition is confirmed
in the present model. We extend the single-mode quantum memory
technique to the case with multi-mode probe fields, and reveal the
exact pulse matching phenomenon between two quantized pulses in

光信息的存储与读出效率对量子信息领域有着重要的意义, 电磁诱导透明是最常用的方法. 本论文基于电磁诱导透明方法首次在热原子系综中实验研究了反 向和同向读取原子自旋波信息的回复效率, 并对实验结果进行了理论分析, 实验和理论的结果都表明同向和反向读出效率的高低取决于原子系综中原子自旋波的强度空间分布. 这一实验研究将会对热原子系综中的光与原子信号相互转换过程的应用有着一定的意义.

Many companies and research institutes try to develop quantum computers with different physical implementations. Currently, most people only focus on the number of qubits in a quantum computer and consider it as a standard to evaluate the performance of the quantum computer intuitively. However, it is quite misleading in most times, especially for investors or governments. This is because the quantum computer works in a quite different way than classical computers. Thus, quantum benchmarking is of great importance. Currently, many quantum benchmarks are proposed from different aspects. In this paper, we review the existing performance benchmarking protocols, models, and metrics. We classify the benchmarking techniques into three categories: physical benchmarking, aggregative benchmarking, and application-level benchmarking. Bistability behaviors in an optical ring cavity filled with a dense V-type four-level atomic medium are theoretically investigated. It is found that the optical bistability can appear in the negative refraction frequency band, while both the bistability and multi-stability can occur in the positive refraction frequency bands. Therefore, optical bistability can be realized from conventional material to negative index material due to quantum coherence in our scheme. 相似文献

原子系综内部分原子发生相干态转移后所处量子态被称为集体激发态.如果激发数目在单原子量级则被称为单激发态.在量子存储过程中,单光子以单激发态的形式在原子系综内进行存储.因此,研究单激发态的制备、演化、转化、干涉等过程是量子存储及其应用研究的关键.本文总结了近年来作者所在研究团队针对冷原子系综体系在此研究方向取得的若干成果.主要包括采用动量模式调控、三维光晶格等手段抑制单激发态的退相干,采用环形腔增强原子至光子的转化效率,发展基于拉曼光的单激发态相干转移技术,利用单量子态不同模式间干涉制备光与原子纠缠,利用里德伯阻塞机制提升纠缠制备效率等.此外,简要回顾了基于多个单激发态的量子中继及量子网络实验. 相似文献
