The Fourier-Bessel integral transform $$g\left( x \right) = F\left[ f \right]\left( x \right) = \frac{1} {{2^p \Gamma \left( {p + 1} \right)}}\int\limits_0^{ + \infty } {t^{2p + 1} f\left( x \right)j_p \left( {xt} \right)dt}$$ is considered in the space $\mathbb{L}_2 \left( {\mathbb{R}_ + } \right)$ . Here, j p (u) = ((2 p Γ(p+1))/(u p ))J p (u) and J p (u) is a Bessel function of the first kind. New estimates are proved for the integral $$\delta _N^2 \left( f \right) = \int\limits_N^{ + \infty } {x^{2p + 1} g^2 \left( x \right)dx, N > 0,}$$ in $\mathbb{L}_2 \left( {\mathbb{R}_ + } \right)$ for some classes of functions characterized by a generalized modulus of continuity.  相似文献

Let $I^d $ be the d‐dimensional cube, $I^d = [0,1]^d $ , and let $F \ni f \mapsto Sf \in L_\infty (I^d ) $ be a linear operator acting on the Sobolev space F, where Fis either $$$$ or $$$$ where $$\left\| f \right\|_F = \sum\limits_{\left| m \right| = r} {\mathop {{\text{esssup}}}\limits_{x \in I^d } \left| {\frac{{\partial f^{\left| m \right|} }} {{\partial x_1^{m_1 } \partial x_2^{m_2 } \cdot \cdot \cdot \partial x_d^{m_d } }}(x)} \right|.} $$ We assume that the problem elements fsatisfy the condition $\sum\nolimits_{\left| m \right| = r} {{\text{esssup}}} _{x \in I^d } \left| {f^{(m)} (x)} \right| \leqslant 1 $ and that Sis continuous with respect to the supremum norm. We study sensitivity of optimal recovery of Sfrom inexact samples of ftaken at npoints forming a uniform grid on $I^d $ . We assume that the inaccuracy in reading the sample vector is measured in the pth norm and bounded by a nonnegative number δ. The sensitivity is defined by the difference between the optimal errors corresponding to the exact and perturbed readings, respectively. Our main result is that this difference is bounded by $\mathcal{A}\delta $ , where $\mathcal{A} $ is a positive constant independent of the number of samples. This indicates that the curse of dimension, which badly affects the optimal errors, does not extend to sensitivity.  相似文献

For a holomorphic proper map F from the ball $\mathbb{B}^{n+1}$ into $\mathbb{B}^{N+1}$ that is C 3 smooth up to the boundary, the image $M=F(\partial\mathbb{B}^{n})$ is an immersed CR submanifold in the sphere $\partial \mathbb{B}^{N+1}$ on which some second fundamental forms II M and $\mathit{II}^{CR}_{M}$ can be defined. It is shown that when 4??n+1<N+1??4n?3, F is linear fractional if and only if $\mathit{II}_{M} - \mathit{II}_{M}^{CR} \equiv 0$ .  相似文献

Let G be a connected graph. For ${x,y\in V(G)}$ with d(x, y) = 2, we define ${J(x,y)= \{u \in N(x)\cap N(y)\mid N[u] \subseteq N[x] \,{\cup}\,N[y] \}}$ and ${J'(x,y)= \{u \in N(x) \cap N(y)\,{\mid}\,{\rm if}\ v \in N(u){\setminus}(N[x] \,{\cup}\, N[y])\ {\rm then}\ N[x] \,{\cup}\, N[y]\,{\cup}\,N[u]{\setminus}\{x,y\}\subseteq N[v]\}}$ . A graph G is quasi-claw-free if ${J(x,y) \not= \emptyset}$ for each pair (x, y) of vertices at distance 2 in G. Broersma and Vumar (in Math Meth Oper Res. doi:10.1007/s00186-008-0260-7) introduced ${\mathcal{P}_{3}}$ -dominated graphs defined as ${J(x,y)\,{\cup}\, J'(x,y)\not= \emptyset}$ for each ${x,y \in V(G)}$ with d(x, y) = 2. This class properly contains that of quasi-claw-free graphs, and hence that of claw-free graphs. In this note, we prove that a 2-connected ${\mathcal{P}_3}$ -dominated graph is 1-tough, with two exceptions: K 2,3 and K 1,1,3, and prove that every even connected ${\mathcal{P}_3}$ -dominated graph ${G\ncong K_{1,3}}$ has a perfect matching. Moreover, we show that every even (2p + 1)-connected ${\mathcal{P}_3}$ -dominated graph is p-extendable. This result follows from a stronger result concerning factor-criticality of ${\mathcal{P}_3}$ -dominated graphs.  相似文献

We are concerned with the elliptic problem $${\varepsilon ^2}{\Delta _{{S^n}}}u - u + {u^p} = 0{\text{ in }}{S^n},u > 0{\text{ in }}{S^n}$$ , where ${\Delta _{{S^n}}}$ is the Laplace-Beltrami operator on $\mathbb{S}^n : = \left\{ {x \in \mathbb{R}^{n + 1} ;\left\| x \right\| = 1} \right\}\left( {n \geqslant 3} \right)$ , and p ? 2. We construct a smooth branch C of solutions concentrating on the equator S n ∩ {x n+1 = 0}. Using the Crandall-Rabinowitz bifurcation theorem, we show that C has infinitely many bifurcation points from which continua of nonradial solutions emanate. In applying the bifurcation theorem, we verify the transversality condition directly.  相似文献

We consider the groups ${\mathrm{Diff }}_\mathcal{B }(\mathbb{R }^n)$ , ${\mathrm{Diff }}_{H^\infty }(\mathbb{R }^n)$ , and ${\mathrm{Diff }}_{\mathcal{S }}(\mathbb{R }^n)$ of smooth diffeomorphisms on $\mathbb{R }^n$ which differ from the identity by a function which is in either $\mathcal{B }$ (bounded in all derivatives), $H^\infty = \bigcap _{k\ge 0}H^k$ , or $\mathcal{S }$ (rapidly decreasing). We show that all these groups are smooth regular Lie groups.  相似文献

Given a vector field ${\mathfrak{a}}$ on ${\mathbb{R}^3}$ , we consider a mapping ${x\mapsto \Pi_{\mathfrak{a}}(x)}$ that assigns to each ${x\in\mathbb{R}^3}$ , a plane ${\Pi_{\mathfrak{a}}(x)}$ containing x, whose normal vector is ${\mathfrak{a}(x)}$ . Associated with this mapping, we define a maximal operator ${\mathcal{M}^{\mathfrak{a}}_N}$ on ${L^1_{loc}(\mathbb{R}^3)}$ for each ${N\gg 1}$ by $$\mathcal{M}^{\mathfrak{a}}_Nf(x)=\sup_{x\in\tau} \frac{1}{|\tau|} \int_{\tau}|f(y)|\,dy$$ where the supremum is taken over all 1/N ×? 1/N?× 1 tubes τ whose axis is embedded in the plane ${\Pi_\mathfrak{a}(x)}$ . We study the behavior of ${\mathcal{M}^{\mathfrak{a}}_N}$ according to various vector fields ${\mathfrak{a}}$ . In particular, we classify the operator norms of ${\mathcal{M}^{\mathfrak{a}}_N}$ on ${L^2(\mathbb{R}^3)}$ when ${\mathfrak{a}(x)}$ is the linear function of the form (a 11 x 1?+?a 21 x 2, a 12 x 1?+?a 22 x 2, 1). The operator norm of ${\mathcal{M}^\mathfrak{a}_N}$ on ${L^2(\mathbb{R}^3)}$ is related with the number given by $$D=(a_{12}+a_{21})^2-4a_{11}a_{22}.$$   相似文献

A Gizatullin surface is a normal affine surface V over $ \mathbb{C} $ , which can be completed by a zigzag; that is, by a linear chain of smooth rational curves. In this paper we deal with the question of uniqueness of $ \mathbb{C}^{ * } $ -actions and $ \mathbb{A}^{{\text{1}}} $ -fibrations on such a surface V up to automorphisms. The latter fibrations are in one to one correspondence with $ \mathbb{C}_{{\text{ + }}} $ -actions on V considered up to a “speed change”. Non-Gizatullin surfaces are known to admit at most one $ \mathbb{A}^{1} $ -fibration VS up to an isomorphism of the base S. Moreover, an effective $ \mathbb{C}^{ * } $ -action on them, if it does exist, is unique up to conjugation and inversion t $ \mapsto $ t ?1 of $ \mathbb{C}^{ * } $ . Obviously, uniqueness of $ \mathbb{C}^{ * } $ -actions fails for affine toric surfaces. There is a further interesting family of nontoric Gizatullin surfaces, called the Danilov-Gizatullin surfaces, where there are in general several conjugacy classes of $ \mathbb{C}^{ * } $ -actions and $ \mathbb{A}^{{\text{1}}} $ -fibrations, see, e.g., [FKZ1]. In the present paper we obtain a criterion as to when $ \mathbb{A}^{{\text{1}}} $ -fibrations of Gizatullin surfaces are conjugate up to an automorphism of V and the base $ S \cong \mathbb{A}^{{\text{1}}} $ . We exhibit as well large subclasses of Gizatullin $ \mathbb{C}^{ * } $ -surfaces for which a $ \mathbb{C}^{ * } $ -action is essentially unique and for which there are at most two conjugacy classes of $ \mathbb{A}^{{\text{1}}} $ -fibrations over $ \mathbb{A}^{{\text{1}}} $ .  相似文献

Let 0≤g be a dyadic Hölder continuous function with period 1 and g(0)=1, and let $G(x) = \prod\nolimits_{n = 0}^\infty {g(x/{\text{2}}^n )} $ . In this article we investigate the asymptotic behavior of $\smallint _0^{\rm T} \left| {G(x)} \right|^q dx$ and $\frac{1}{n}\sum\nolimits_{k = 0}^n {\log g(2^k x)} $ using the dynamical system techniques: the pressure function and the variational principle. An algorithm to calculate the pressure is presented. The results are applied to study the regulatiry of wavelets and Bernoulli convolutions.  相似文献

In this paper we classify the complete rotational special Weingarten surfaces in ${\mathbb{S}^2 \times \mathbb{R}}$ and ${\mathbb{H}^2 \times \mathbb{R}}$ ; i.e. rotational surfaces in ${\mathbb{S}^2 \times \mathbb{R}}$ and ${\mathbb{H}^2 \times \mathbb{R}}$ whose mean curvature H and extrinsic curvature K e satisfy H = f(H 2 ? K e ), for some function ${f \in \mathcal{C}^1([0,+\infty))}$ such that f(0) = 0 and 4x(f′(x))2 < 1 for any x ≥ 0. Furthermore we show the existence of non-complete examples of such surfaces.  相似文献

The moduli space of smooth curves admits a beautiful compactification $\mathcal{M}_{g,n} \subset \overline{\mathcal{M}}_{g,n}$ by the moduli space of stable curves. In this paper, we undertake a systematic classification of alternate modular compactifications of $\mathcal{M}_{g,n}$ . Let $\mathcal{U}_{g,n}$ be the (non-separated) moduli stack of all n-pointed reduced, connected, complete, one-dimensional schemes of arithmetic genus g. When g=0, $\mathcal{U}_{0,n}$ is irreducible and we classify all open proper substacks of $\mathcal{U}_{0,n}$ . When g≥1, $\mathcal{U}_{g,n}$ may not be irreducible, but there is a unique irreducible component $\mathcal{V}_{g,n} \subset\mathcal{U}_{g,n}$ containing $\mathcal{M}_{g,n}$ . We classify open proper substacks of $\mathcal {V}_{g,n}$ satisfying a certain stability condition.  相似文献

In this paper we prove the existence of a nontrivial non-negative radial solution for the quasilinear elliptic problem $$\begin{aligned} \left\{ \begin{array}{l@{\quad }l} -\nabla \cdot \left[\phi ^{\prime }(|\nabla u|^2)\nabla u \right] +|u|^{\alpha -2}u =|u|^{s-2} u,&x\in \mathbb{R }^{N},\\ u(x) \rightarrow 0, \quad \text{ as} |x|\rightarrow \infty , \end{array} \right. \end{aligned}$$ where $N\ge 2, \phi (t)$ behaves like $t^{q/2}$ for small $t$ and $t^{p/2}$ for large $t, 1< p<q<N, 1<\alpha \le p^* q^{\prime }/p^{\prime }$ and $\max \{q,\alpha \}< s<p^*,$ being $p^*=\frac{pN}{N-p}$ and $p^{\prime }$ and $q^{\prime }$ the conjugate exponents, respectively, of $p$ and $q$ . Our aim is to approach the problem variationally by using the tools of critical points theory in an Orlicz-Sobolev space. A multiplicity result is also given.  相似文献

We study the Weinstein equation $$\Delta u - \frac{k}{{x}_{2}} \frac{\partial}{\partial{x}_{2}} + \frac{l}{x^{2}_{2}}u = 0$$ , on the upper half space ${\mathbb{R}^3_{+} = \{ (x_{0}, x_{1}, x_{2}) \in \mathbb{R}^{3} | x_2 > 0\}}$ in case ${4l \leq (k + 1)^{2}}$ . If l =  0 then the operator ${x^{2k}_{2} (\Delta - \frac{k}{x_{2}} \frac{\partial}{\partial{x}_{2}})}$ is the Laplace- Beltrami operator of the Riemannian metric ${ds^2 = x^{-2k}_{2} (\sum^{2}_{i = 0} dx^{2}_{i})}$ . The general case ${\mathbb{R}^{n}_{+}}$ has been studied earlier by the authors, but the results are improved in case ${\mathbb{R}^3_{+}}$ . If k =  1 then the Riemannian metric is the hyperbolic distance of Poincaré upper half-space. The Weinstein equation is connected to the axially symmetric potentials. We compute solutions of the Weinstein equation depending only on the hyperbolic distance and x 2. The solutions of the Weinstein equation form a socalled Brelot harmonic space and therefore it is known that they satisfy the mean value properties with respect to the harmonic measure. However, without using the theory of Brelot harmonic spaces, we present the explicit mean value properties which give a formula for a harmonic measure evaluated in the center point of the hyperbolic ball. Earlier these results were proved only for k =  1 and l =  0 or k =  1 and l =  1. We also compute the fundamental solutions. The main tools are the hyperbolic metric and its invariance properties. In the consecutive papers, these results are applied to find explicit kernels for k-hypermonogenic functions that are higher dimensional generalizations of complex holomorphic functions.  相似文献

Isometric embeddings of $\mathbb{Z}_{p^n+1}$ into the Hamming space ( $\mathbb{F}_{p}^{p^n},w$ ) have played a fundamental role in recent constructions of non-linear codes. The codes thus obtained are very good codes, but their rate is limited by the rate of the first-order generalized Reed–Muller code—hence, when n is not very small, these embeddings lead to the construction of low-rate codes. A natural question is whether there are embeddings with higher rates than the known ones. In this paper, we provide a partial answer to this question by establishing a lower bound on the order of a symmetry of ( $\mathbb{F}_{p}^{N},w$ ).  相似文献

Conservative subtheories of ${{R}^{1}_{2}}$ and ${{S}^{1}_{2}}$ are presented. For ${{S}^{1}_{2}}$ , a slight tightening of Je?ábek??s result (Math Logic Q 52(6):613?C624, 2006) that ${T^{0}_{2} \preceq_{\forall \Sigma^{b}_{1}}S^{1}_{2}}$ is presented: It is shown that ${T^{0}_{2}}$ can be axiomatised as BASIC together with induction on sharply bounded formulas of one alternation. Within this ${\forall\Sigma^{b}_{1}}$ -theory, we define a ${\forall\Sigma^{b}_{0}}$ -theory, ${T^{-1}_{2}}$ , for the ${\forall\Sigma^{b}_{0}}$ -consequences of ${S^{1}_{2}}$ . We show ${T^{-1}_{2}}$ is weak by showing it cannot ${\Sigma^{b}_{0}}$ -define division by 3. We then consider what would be the analogous ${\forall\hat\Sigma^{b}_{1}}$ -conservative subtheory of ${R^{1}_{2}}$ based on Pollett (Ann Pure Appl Logic 100:189?C245, 1999. It is shown that this theory, ${{T}^{0,\left\{2^{(||\dot{id}||)}\right\}}_{2}}$ , also cannot ${\Sigma^{b}_{0}}$ -define division by 3. On the other hand, we show that ${{S}^{0}_{2}+open_{\{||id||\}}}$ -COMP is a ${\forall\hat\Sigma^{b}_{1}}$ -conservative subtheory of ${R^{1}_{2}}$ . Finally, we give a refinement of Johannsen and Pollett (Logic Colloquium?? 98, 262?C279, 2000) and show that ${\hat{C}^{0}_{2}}$ is ${\forall\hat\Sigma^{b}_{1}}$ -conservative over a theory based on open cl-comprehension.  相似文献

For a sequence $\underline{u}=(u_n)_{n\in \mathbb{N }}$ of integers, let $t_{\underline{u}}(\mathbb{T })$ be the group of all topologically $\underline{u}$ -torsion elements of the circle group $\mathbb{T }:=\mathbb{R }/\mathbb{Z }$ . We show that for any $s\in ]0,1[$ and $m\in \{0,+\infty \}$ there exists $\underline{u}$ such that $t_{\underline{u}}(\mathbb{T })$ has Hausdorff dimension $s$ and $s$ -dimensional Hausdorff measure equal to $m$ (no other values for $m$ are possible). More generally, for dimension functions $f,g$ with $f(t)\prec g(t), f(t)\prec \!\!\!\prec t$ and $g(t)\prec \!\!\!\prec t$ we find $\underline{u}$ such that $t_{\underline{u}}(\mathbb{T })$ has at the same time infinite $f$ -measure and null $g$ -measure.  相似文献

Let $ \mathfrak{g} $ be a reductive Lie algebra over $ \mathbb{C} $ and $ \mathfrak{k} \subset \mathfrak{g} $ be a reductive in $ \mathfrak{g} $ subalgebra. We call a $ \mathfrak{g} $ -module M a $ \left( {\mathfrak{g}{\hbox{,}}\;\mathfrak{k}} \right) $ -module whenever M is a direct sum of finite-dimensional $ \mathfrak{k} $ -modules. We call a $ \left( {\mathfrak{g}{\hbox{,}}\;\mathfrak{k}} \right) $ -module M bounded if there exists $ {C_M} \in {\mathbb{Z}_{{ \geqslant 0}}} $ such that for any simple finite-dimensional $ \mathfrak{k} $ -module E the dimension of the E-isotypic component is not greater than C M dim E. Bounded $ \left( {\mathfrak{g}{\hbox{,}}\;\mathfrak{k}} \right) $ -modules form a subcategory of the category of $ \mathfrak{g} $ -modules. Let V be a finite-dimensional vector space. We prove that the categories of bounded $ \left( {\mathfrak{sp}\left( {{{\mathrm{S}}^2}V \oplus {{\mathrm{S}}^2}{V^{*}}} \right),\;\mathfrak{gl}(V)} \right) $ - and $ \left( {\mathfrak{sp}\left( {{\varLambda^2}V \oplus {\varLambda^2}{V^{*}}} \right),\;\mathfrak{gl}(V)} \right) $ -modules are isomorphic to the direct sum of countably many copies of the category of representations of some explicitly described quiver with relations under some mild assumptions on the dimension of V .  相似文献

The restriction of a Verma module of ${\bf U}(\mathfrak{sl}_3)$ to ${\bf U}(\mathfrak{sl}_2)$ is isomorphic to a Verma module tensoring with all the finite dimensional simple modules of ${\bf U}(\mathfrak{sl}_2)$ . The canonical basis of the Verma module is compatible with such a decomposition. An explicit decomposition of the tensor product of the Verma module of highest weight 0 with a finite dimensional simple module into indecomposable projective modules in the category $\mathcal O_{\rm{int}}$ of quantum $\mathfrak{sl}_2$ is given.  相似文献
