This article presents the behavior of slender elastic rods subjected to axial terminal forces and self-weight. The mathematical formulation is presented, a solution is sought for a double-hinged boundary condition and the analysis is carried out for different values of non-dimensional weight. The formulation derives from geometrical compatibility, equilibrium of forces and moments and constitutive relations yielding a set of six first order non-linear ordinary differential equations with boundary conditions specified at both ends, which characterizes a complex two-point boundary value problem. Furthermore, a perturbation method is used to find the critical buckling loads and initial post-buckling solutions. A numerical integration scheme based on a three parameter shooting method is employed in the post-buckling solutions.  相似文献

We consider the boundary value problem for stationary magnetohydrodynamic equations of electrically and heat conducting fluid under inhomogeneous mixed boundary conditions for electromagnetic field and temperature and Dirichlet condition for the velocity. The problem describes the thermoelectromagnetic flow of a viscous fluid in 3D bounded domain with the boundary consisting of several parts with different thermo- and electrophysical properties. The global solvability of the boundary value problem is proved and the apriori estimates of the solution are derived. The sufficient conditions on the data are established which provide a local uniqueness of the solution.  相似文献

In the solution of the Navier-Stokes equations by difference methods in infinite regions, the question arises as to the nature of the approximate boundary conditions at those portions of the computational region boundary where these conditions are not determined directly by the formulation of the basic problem. In certain cases of practical importance, these boundary conditions may be obtained by coupling the N-S equations with equations which are similar to the boundary-layer equations.In the present paper, we propose boundary conditions for the case of viscous incompressible fluid flow. Their application is illustrated for the problem of flow past the leading edge of a semi-infinite flat plate.The author wishes to thank I. Yu. Brailovskaya and L. A. To begin with, in this paper, the displacement governing equations and the boundary conditions of nonsymmetrical large deflection problem of circular thin plates are derived. By using the transformation and the perturbation method, the nonlinear displacement equations are linearized, and the approximate boundary value problems are obtained. As an example, the nonlinear bending problem of circular thin plates subjected to comparatively complex loads is studied.  相似文献

在同一界面的不同区域具有多种边界条件, 称之为混合边界, 这是一个熟知的力学问题. 对这类问题进行精确分析时, 必须要进行混合边值问题的求解. 而对于一般的三维非轴对称情形, 混合边值问题的求解往往存在数学困难. 本文利用Hilbert定理和双重Fourier变换, 给出了一种求解三维非轴对称混合边值问题的解析方法, 利用该方法对具有混合透水边界的饱和多孔地基上矩形板的振动弯曲进行了解析研究(板与地基接触面为不透水边界, 其余为透水边界). 首先, 基于Kirchhoff理论和Biot多孔介质理论建立矩形板与饱和多孔地基的动力控制方程, 进行耦合求解. 针对板土接触面和非接触面的混合边值问题, 采用双重Fourier变换构造出两对二维对偶积分方程, 以接触应力和接触面孔隙压力为基本未知量, 用Jacobi正交多项式将未知量展开, 再利用Schmidt法对二维对偶积分方程完成求解, 最终推导出板土系统在动力作用下的位移和应力解析式. 通过将本文计算模型退化为单一弹性地基, 与已有研究结果进行对比, 验证了本文方法的正确性和有效性. 最后, 通过数值算例, 对饱和多孔地基上矩形板的动力响应及参数影响做出分析和讨论. 此外, 本文提出的解析法具有一般性, 可广泛应用于复杂接触问题和多场耦合问题的求解.  相似文献

The influence of boundary conditions relaxation on two-dimensional panel flutter is studied in the presence of in-plane loading. The boundary value problem of the panel involves time-dependent boundary conditions that are converted into autonomous form using a special coordinate transformation. Galerkin's method is used to discretize the panel partial differential equation of motion into six nonlinear ordinary differential equations. The influence of boundary conditions relaxation on the panel modal frequencies and LCO amplitudes in the time and frequency domains is examined using the windowed short time Fourier transform and wavelet transform. The relaxation and system nonlinearity are found to have opposite effects on the time evolution of the panel frequency. Depending on the system damping and dynamic pressure, the panel frequency can increase or decrease with time as the boundary conditions approach the state of simple supports. Bifurcation diagrams are generated by taking the relaxation parameter, dynamic pressure, and in-plane load as control parameters. The corresponding largest Lyapunov exponent is also determined. They reveal complex dynamic characteristics of the panel, including regions of periodic, quasi-periodic, and chaotic motions.  相似文献

Mathematical modeling of evolutionary states of non-homogeneous multi-layer shallow shells with orthotropic initial imperfections belongs to one of the most important and necessary steps while constructing numerous technical devices, as well as aviation and ship structural members. In first part of the paper fundamental hypotheses are formulated which allow us to derive Hamilton–Ostrogradsky equations. The latter yield equations governing shell behavior within the applied hypotheses and modified Pelekh–Sheremetev conditions. The aim of second part of the paper is to formulate fundamental hypotheses in order to construct coupled boundary problems of thermo-elasticity which are used in non-classical mathematical models for multi-layer shallow shells with initial imperfections. In addition, a coupled problem for multi-layer shell taking into account a 3D heat transfer equation is formulated. Third part of the paper introduces necessary phase spaces for the second boundary value problem for evolutionary equations, defining the coupled problem of thermo-elasticity for a simply supported shallow shell. The theorem regarding uniqueness of the mentioned boundary value problem is proved. It is also proved that the approximate solution regarding the second boundary value problem defining condition for the thermo-mechanical evolution for rectangular shallow homogeneous and isotropic shells can be found using the Bubnov–Galerkin method.  相似文献

An expression of the generalized principle of virtual work for the boundary value problem of the linear and anisotropic electromagnetic field is given. Using Chien's method, a pair of generalized variational principles (GVPs) are established, which directly leads to all four Maxwell's equations, two intensity-potential equations, two constitutive equations, and eight boundary conditions. A family of constrained variational principles is derived sequentially. As additional verifications, two degenerated forms are obtained, equivalent to two known variational principles. Boundary value problems for Stokes and Navier-Stokes equations with non-standard boundary conditions are studied. Included is the case where the pressure or its normal derivative is given on some part of the boundary or the pressure is given up to a constant but given velocity flux. First, a variational formulation is introduced which is shown to be equivalent to the Stokes equations with the non-standard boundary conditions under consideration. The existence and uniqueness of the solution of the variational problem are studied. Secondly, most of the results obtained for the Stokes equations are extended to the case of the Navier-Stokes equations. On the example of a one-dimensional nonstationary problem of oblique impact on the boundary of a nonlinear elastic isotropic half-space, the question of the manifestation of nonlinear deformation effects via basic evolution equations is studied. Much attention is given to the behavior of the solution behind the leading edge of a quasi-transverse shock wave. For particular cases of boundary conditions, it is shown that the onset region of the evolution equation of a quasi-transverse wave is preceded by a series of preliminary transitions to the intermediate internal problems of the small parameter method determined by the type of preliminary bulk deformation. This deformation consistently affects the distortion of the characteristic coordinates and the leading edge of the quasitransverse process. As a consequence, the transition to the evolution equation of quasi-transverse waves occurs with simultaneous change of all independent variables of the boundary value problem.  相似文献

A class of nonlinear nonlocal for singularly perturbed Robin initial boundary value problems for reaction diffusion equations with boundary perturbation is considered. Under suitable conditions, first, the outer solution of the original problem was obtained. Secondly, using the stretched variable, the composing expansion method and the expanding theory of power series the initial layer was constructed. Finally, using the theory of differential inequalities the asymptotic behavior of solution for the initial boundary value problems was studied, and educing some relational inequalities the existence and uniqueness of solution for the original problem and the uniformly valid asymptotic estimation were discussed.  相似文献
