A reversed flow injection colorimetric procedure for determining iron(III) at the μg level was proposed. It is based on the reaction between iron(III) with norfloxacin (NRF) in 0.07 mol l−1 ammonium sulfate solution, resulting in an intense yellow complex with a suitable absorption at 435 nm. Optimum conditions for determining iron(III) were investigated by univariate method. The method involved injection of a 150 μl of 0.04% w/v colorimetric reagent solution into a merged streams of sample and/or standard solution containing iron(III) and 0.07 mol l−1 ammonium sulfate in sulfuric acid (pH 3.5) solution which was then passed through a single bead string reactor. Subsequently the absorbance as peak height was monitored at 435 nm. Beer's law obeyed over the range of 0.2–1.4 μg ml−1 iron(III). The method has been applied to the determination of total iron in water samples digested with HNO3–H2O2 (1:9 v/v). Detection limit (3σ) was 0.01 μg ml−1 the sample through of 86 h−1 and the coefficient of variation of 1.77% (n=12) for 1 μg ml−1 Fe(III) were achieved with the recovery of the spiked Fe(III) of 92.6–99.8%.  相似文献

Determination of glyphosate by ion chromatography   总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4
An ion chromatography system for the determination of glyphosate was described. Ion chromatograph was carried out by suppressed conductivity detection (DX-100). The eluent contained 9 mmol l−1 Na2CO3 and 4 mmol l−1 NaOH. The detection limit was 0.042 μg ml−1 (S/N=3). The relative standard deviation was 1.99% and the correlation coefficient of the calibration curve for area was 0.9995. The linear range was 0.042100 μg ml−1. Common inorganic ion and organic acids did not interfere. The recovery was 96.4103.2%. The method was simple, rapid, reliable and inexpensive.  相似文献

A sequential injection analysis (SIA) spectrophotometric method for the determination of trace amounts of zinc(II) with 1-(2-pyridylazo)-2-naphthol (PAN) is described. The method is based on the measurement of absorbance of the zinc(II)–PAN chelate solubilized with a non-ionic surfactant, Triton X-100, no extraction procedure is required in the proposed method, yielding a pink colored complex at pH 9.5 with absorption maximum at 553 nm. The SIA parameters that affect the signal response have been optimized in order to get the better sensitivity and minimum reagent consumption. A linear relationship between the relative peak height and concentration was obtained in the concentration range of 0.1–1.0 μg ml−1. The limit of detection (LOD, defined as 3σ) and limit of quantification (LOQ, defined as 10σ) were 0.02 and 0.06 μg ml−1, respectively. The sample throughput about 40 samples/h was obtained. The repeatability were 1.32 and 1.24% (n = 10) for 0.1 and 0.5 μg ml−1, respectively. The proposed method was successfully applied to the assay of zinc(II) in three samples of multivitamin tablets. The results were found to be in good agreement with those obtained by flame atomic absorption spectrophotometric method and with the claimed values by the manufactures. The t-test showed no significant difference at 95% confidence level.  相似文献

The very sensitive, fairly selective direct spectrophotometric method for the determination of trace amount of vanadium (V) with 1,5-diphenylcarbohydrazide (1,5-diphenylcarbazide) has been developed. 1,5-diphenylcarbohydrazide (DPCH) reacts in slightly acidic (0.0001–0.001 M H2SO4 or pH 4.0–5.5) 50% acetonic media with vanadium (V) to give a red–violet chelate which has an absorption maximum at 531 nm. The average molar absorption coefficient and Sandell’s sensitivity were found to be 4.23×104 l mol−1 cm−1 and 10 ng cm−2 of Vv, respectively. Linear calibration graph were obtained for 0.1–30 μg ml−1 of Vv: the stoichiometric composition of the chelate is 1:3 (V: DPCH). The reaction is instantaneous and absorbance remain stable for 48 h. The interference from over 50 cations, anions and complexing agents has been studied at 1 μg ml−1 of Vv. The method was successfully used in the determination of vanadium in several standard reference materials (alloys and steels), environmental waters (potable and polluted), biological samples (human blood and urine), soil samples, solution containing both vanadium (V) and vanadium (IV) and complex synthetic mixtures. The method has high precision and accuracy (s=±0.01 for 0.5 μg ml−1).  相似文献

A procedure for the determination of As, Pb, Se and Sn in sediment slurries by electrothermal vaporization inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry is proposed. The slurry, 1 mg ml−1, is prepared by mixing the sample ground to a particle size 50 μm with 5% v/v nitric and 1% v/v hydrofluoric acids in an ultrasonic bath. The slurry was homogenized with a constant flow of argon in the autosampler cup, just before transferring an aliquot to the graphite furnace. The tube was treated with Ru as a permanent modifier, and an optimized mass of 1 μg of NaCl was added as a physical carrier. The pyrolysis temperature was optimized through pyrolysis curves, and a compromised temperature of 800 °C was used; the vaporization temperature was 2300 °C. The effect of different acid concentrations in the slurry on the analyte signal intensities was also evaluated. The accuracy of the method was assured by the analysis of certified reference sediments MESS-2, PACS-2 and HISS-1 from the National Research Council Canada, SRM 2704 and SRM 1646a from the National Institute of Standards and Technology and RS-4 from a round robin test, using external calibration with aqueous standards prepared in the same medium as the slurries. The obtained concentrations were in agreement with the certified values according to the Student's t-test for a confidence level of 95%. The detection limits in the samples were: 0.17 μg g−1 for As; 0.3 μg g−1 for Pb; 0.05 μg g−1 for Se and 0.28 μg g−1 for Sn. The precision found for the different sediment samples, expressed as R.S.D. was 1–8% for As, 2–9% for Pb, 6–12% for Se and 3–8% for Sn (n=5).  相似文献

Polystyrene–divinylbenzene (8%) has been functionalised by coupling it through an ---N=N--- group with 6-mercaptopurine. The resulting chelating resin has been characterised by using elemental analysis, thermogravimetric analysis and infrared spectra. The resin is highly selective for Hg(II) and Ag(I) and has been used for preconcentrating Hg(II) and Ag(I) prior to their determination by atomic absorption spectrometry. The maximum sorption capacity for Hg(II) and Ag(I) was found to be 1.74 and 0.52 mmol g−1, respectively, over the pH range 5.5–6.0. The calibration range for Hg(II) was linear up to 10 ng ml−1 with a 3σ detection limit of 0.02 ng ml−1; the calibration range for Ag(I) was linear up to 5 μg ml−1 with a detection limit of 29 ng ml−1. The recoveries of the metals were found to be 99.7±3.8 and 101.3±4.1% at the 95% confidence level for both Hg(II) and Ag(I). In column operation, it has been observed that Hg(II) and Ag(I) in trace quantities can be selectively separated from geological, medicinal and environmental samples.  相似文献

A simple, fast chemiluminescence (CL) flow-injection method based on the reaction of luminol with H2O2 in the presence of a cationic surfactant (cyltrimethylammonium bromide, CTMAB) has been described for the direct determination of dichlorvos pesticide (DDVP). Under the optimal conditions, the CL intensity was linear to the DDVP concentration in the range of 0.02–3.1 μg ml−1 (r=0.9998, n=10). The relative standard deviation was 3.4% at 0.35 μg ml−1 (n=10), with a detection limit (3σ) of 0.008 μg ml−1 DDVP. The possible reaction mechanism was also discussed. This method has been successfully applied to the determination of trace DDVP residue in vegetable sample and results have been compared with that of the UV method.  相似文献

Two different spectrofluorimetric methods for the determination of piroxicam (PX) in serum are presented and discussed. One of them is based on the use of three-way fluorescence data and multivariate calibration performed with parallel factor analysis (PARAFAC) and self-weighted alternating trilinear decomposition (SWATLD). This methodology exploits the so-called second-order advantage of the three-way data, allowing to obtain the concentration of the studied analyte in the presence of any number of uncalibrated (serum) components. The method was developed following two different procedures: internal standard addition and external calibration with standard solutions, which were compared and discussed. The second approach investigated is based on the combination of solid-phase extraction (SPE) and room temperature fluorimetry. Both methods here presented yield satisfactory results. The concentration range in which PX could be determined in serum was 1–10 μg ml−1. The limits of quantification for the experimental solutions using the chemometric approach were 0.09 μg ml−1 for the standard addition mode and 0.12 μg ml−1 using external calibration (both for PARAFAC and SWATLD algorithms). In the solid-surface fluorimetric method, the calibration graph was linear up to 0.22 μg ml−1 and the limit of quantification was 0.02 μg ml−1.  相似文献

It was found that the weak chemiluminescence produced from the reaction of polyhydroxy phenols with luminol in alkaline solution could be strongly enhanced by ferricyanide and ferrocyanide. Based on this found, a new flow injection chemiluminescence method is proposed for the determination of four polyhydroxy phenols: pyrogallol, phlorglucinol, quinol and resorcinol. The detection limits of the method are 0.03 μg ml−1 pyrogallol, 0.03 μg ml−1 phlorglucinol, 0.04 μg ml−1 quinol, and 0.02 μg ml−1 resorcinol. The possible mechanism of CL reactions is also discussed briefly.  相似文献

In this work, tetramethylammonium hydroxide (TMAH) was used to solubilize the DORM-1 dogfish muscle certified reference material as a model substance for the determination of As, Cd, Pb and Se by electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry (ET AAS). The sample was mixed with a small amount of TMAH and heated to 60 °C for 10 min in a water bath. After dissolution, As and Se were determined using palladium and magnesium nitrates as a chemical modifier added in solution. For Cd and Pb, best results were obtained with a mixture of 250 μg of each of iridium and rhodium as permanent modifiers. In both cases, the calibration was performed with aqueous solutions in 0.2% v/v HNO3. The temperature program for each analyte was optimized using pyrolysis and atomization curves established with the fish reference material. The detection limits in dry samples and the characteristic mass values were: Cd 0.005 μg g−1 and 0.9 pg; Pb 0.04 μg g−1 and 7.6 pg; As 0.4 μg g−1 and 13 pg and Se 0.6 μg g−1 and 20 pg, respectively. Results from the determination of these elements in the DORM-1 certified fish reference material were within the 95% confidence interval of the certified values.  相似文献

A procedure consisting of connecting in series two different HPLC columns, one for size-exclusion chromatography (SEC) and the second one a normal-phase (silica) column has been developed. An automatic three-way switching valve was placed between the two columns. Through the valve, the polymer was drained whereas the rest of the compounds, a group of antioxidants and UV stabilizers, were separated and analyzed in the second column. The behaviour of the SEC column in different organic phases is studied. Detection limits about 0.1 μg ml−1 were obtained for BHT, Tinuvin 326 and Tinuvin 327; 0.2 μg ml−1 for Irganox 1076, and 1.1 μg ml−1 for Cyasorb UV 9 and Cyasorb UV 1084. R.S.D. values of the whole process are lower than 4%.  相似文献

A simple and rapid spectrophotometric method for the determination of tinidazole is presented. This method is based on the measurement of the absorbance of the signal at 368 nm yielded by bathochromic shift during alkaline hydrolysis of tinidazole in 0.1 N NaOH. The method is linear within the range of 1–30 μg ml−1, and the detection and quantification limits are 0.07 and 0.25 μg ml−1, respectively. The precision of the method, expressed as the relative standard deviation, is 0.19% for a tinidazole concentration of 15 (μg ml−1. The method was applied to the analysis of tinidazole in pharmaceutical formulations and serum.  相似文献

A simple reversed flow injection colourimetric procedure for determining iron(III) was proposed. It is based on the reaction between iron(III) with chlortetracycline, resulting in an intense yellow complex with a suitable absorption at 435 nm. A 200 μl chlortetracycline reagent solution was injected into the phosphate buffer stream (flow rate 2.0 ml min−1) which was then merged with iron(III) standard or sample in dilute nitric acid stream (flow rate 1.5 ml min−1). Optimum conditions for determining iron(III) were investigated by univariate method. Under the optimum conditions, a linear calibration graph was obtained over the range 0.5–20.0 μg ml−1. The detection limit (3σ) and the quantification limit (10σ) were 0.10 and 0.82 μg ml−1, respectively. The relatives standard deviation of the proposed method calculated from 12 replicate injections of 2.0 and 10.0 μg ml−1 iron(III) were 0.43 and 0.59%, respectively. The sample throughput was 60 h−1. The proposed method has been satisfactorily applied to the determination of iron(III) in natural waters.  相似文献

A continuous-flow procedure is proposed for the indirect determination of sodium cyclamate by an atomic absorption spectrometric method in artificial sweeteners mixtures and soft drinks. Sulfamic group is oxidized to sulfate and it is continuously precipited with lead ion in a flow manifold. The lead sulfate formed is retained on a filter, washed with diluted ethanol and dissolved in ammonium acetate for on-line atomic absorption determination of lead, the amount of which in the precipitate is proportional to that of cyclamate in the sample. The proposed method allows the determination of sodium cyclamate in the range 1–90 μg ml−1 with a relative standard deviation of 3.1% at a rate of ca. 35 samples per h. The 3σ detection limit is 0.25 μg ml−1. The method is very selective, no compounds normally found in the analysed samples and other artificial sweeteners had any effect on the determination of cyclamate.  相似文献

A novel spectrophotometric reaction system was developed for the determination of nitrite as well as nitrate in water samples, and was applied to a flow-injection analysis (FIA). The spectrophotometric flow-injection system coupled with a copperised cadmium reductor column was proposed. The detection was based on the nitrosation reaction between nitrite ion and phloroglucinol (1,3,5-trihydroxybenzene), a commercially available phenolic compound. Sample injected into a carrier stream was split into two streams at the Y-shaped connector. One of the streams merged directly and reacted with the reagent stream: nitrite ion in the samples was detected. The other stream was passed through the copperised cadmium reductor column, where the reduction of nitrate to nitrite occurred, and the sample zone was then mixed with the reagent stream and passed through the detector: the sum of nitrate and nitrite was detected. The optimised conditions allow a linear calibration range of 0.03–0.30 μg NO2-N ml−1 and 0.10–1.00 μg NO3-N ml−1. The detection limits for nitrite and nitrate, defined as three times the standard deviation of measured blanks are 2.9 ng NO2-N ml−1 and 2.3 ng NO3-N ml−1, respectively. Up to 20 samples can be analyzed per hour with a relative standard deviation of less than 1.5%. The proposed method could be applied successfully to the simultaneous determination of nitrite and nitrate in water samples.  相似文献

Hydrogen peroxide in basic media is proposed as a means for dissolving whole blood samples to be analyzed by electrothermal atomization atomic absorption spectrometry, ET AAS. Approximately 2 g of the whole blood sample were directly weighed in a 150 mL volumetric flask; 3 mL of a NaOH 0.2 mol L−1 solution, two drops of 1-octanol, as an antifoaming agent, and 1 mL of 30% volume hydrogen peroxide were added to the flask to promote oxidation. The solution was then manually shaken and after approximately three minutes of shaking, a clear solution, with no apparent suspended solids or greasy layers, was obtained. Distilled-deionized water was used to complete the volume. Ten μL of the resulting solution along with 10 μL of a solution containing 5000 mg L−1 of NH4H2PO4 and 300 mg L−1 of Mg(NO3)2 as a modifier, were injected into transversely heated graphite tubes for lead determination. Both aqueous standards and standard addition calibration curves produced results not significantly different at a 95% confidence limit level. Accuracy of the measurements was assessed by analysis of the IAEA A-13 (concentration of trace and minor elements in freeze dried animal blood) standard reference material containing 0.18 mg L−1 lead on a dry basis and by means of recovery tests. Analysis of the IAEA A-13 standard produced 0.17 ± 0.02 mg L−1 lead on a dry basis; recovery tests afforded values from 95 to 105%. Ten consecutive measurements of a 5 ppb lead solution gave a characteristic mass of 47.2 pg and a (3S) detection limit of 1.77 μg L−1 Pb. Results obtained from analysis of whole blood samples of volunteer donors covered a lead concentration range between 8 and 21 μg L−1 with a mean value of 11.9 ± 4.7 μg L−1.  相似文献

A supported liquid membrane system has been developed for the extraction of vanillin from food samples. A porous PTFE membrane is impregnated with an organic solvent, which forms a barrier between two aqueous phases. The analyte is extracted from a donor phase into the hydrophobic membrane and then back extracted into a second aqueous solution, the acceptor. The determination (100–1400 μg ml−1 vanillin) was performed using a PVC-graphite composite electrode versus Ag/AgCl/3MKCl at +0.850 V placed in a wall-jet flow cell as amperometric detector. The solid sample is directly placed in the membrane unit without any treatment, and the analyte was extracted from the sample, passes through the membrane and conduced to the flow cell by the acceptor stream. The limit of detection (3σ) was 44 μg ml−1. The method was applied to the determination of vanillin (9–606 μg g−1) in food samples.  相似文献

A new po1y(acrylphenylamidrazone phenylhydrazide) chelating fiber is synthesized from polyacrylonitrile fiber and used for preconcentration and separation of trace Ga(III), In(III), Bi(III), V(V) and Ti(IV) from solution (5–50 ng ml−1 Ti(IV) or V(V) and 50–500 ng ml−1 Ga(III), In (III) or Bi(III) in 1000–100 ml of solution can be enriched quantitatively by 0.15 g of fiber at a 4 ml min−1 flow rate in the pH range 5–7 with recoveries >95%). These ions can be desorbed quantitatively with 20 ml of 4 M hydrochloric acid at 2 ml min−1 from the fiber column. When the fiber which had been treated with concentrated hydrochloric acid and washed with distilled water until neutral was reused eight times, the recoveries of the above ions by enrichment were still >95%. Two-hundred-fold to 10 000-fold excesses of Cu(II), Zn(II), Ca(II), Mn(II), Cr(III), Fe(III), Ba(II) and Al(III) caused little interference in the determination of these ions by inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectrometers (ICP-AES). The relative standard deviations for enrichment and determination of 50 ng ml−1 Ga, In or Bi and 10 ng ml−1 V or Ti are in the range 1.2–2.7%. The contents of these ions in real solution samples determined by this method were in agreement with the certified values of the samples with average errors <3.7%.  相似文献

A spectrofluorimetric method to determine levofloxacin is proposed and applied to determine the substance in tablets and spiked human urine and serum. The fluorimetric method allow the determination of 20–3000 ng ml−1 of levofloxacin in aqueous solution containing acetic acid–sodium acetate buffer (pH 4) with λexc=292 and λem=494 nm, respectively. Micelle enhanced fluorescence improves the sensibility and allows levofloxacin direct measurement in spiked Human serum (5 μg ml−1) and urine (420 μg ml−1), in 8 mM sodium dodecyl sulphate solutions at pH 5.  相似文献

An analytical flow-injection procedure based on PbSO4 colloidal formation is proposed as a turbidimetric determination of sulphate in natural waters. Ethanol-water was used as a medium in order to improve the sensibility of the method. Both chemical and flow variables as well as interfering species were studied. A detection limit of 0.3 μg SO2−4 ml−1 was found, and the analytical range (according to Beer's law) was 2–20 μg SO2−4 ml−1. The precision was better than 3% R.S.D. and the sample throughput was ca. 35 h−1. The method, when compared with a standard methodology, gave good results when applied to water analysis.  相似文献
