This paper studies the dispersion effect of the supersphere solid
immersion lens (SIL) on a near field optical microscopy system by
using the vector diffraction theory. Results show that when a real
non-monochromatic beam illuminates a supersphere SIL microscopy, the
dispersion effect of the SIL has an important influence on the image
quality. As the wavelength bandwidth of the non-monochromatic beam
increases, the size of the focused spot increases and its intensity
decreases in near-field microscopy systems with a supersphere SIL. 相似文献

为进一步提高光存储密度,利用固体侵没透镜(SIL)与数值孔径为0.55的长工作距离物镜对飞秒激光脉冲进行聚焦,完成了PMMA及石英介质上的存储实验,并对聚焦物镜焦点与SIL底面离焦时的介质内焦点位置和系统的数值孔径进行了模拟。实验结果表明:当聚焦物镜焦点与SIL底面适当离焦时,实际聚焦在介质内的焦点深度不断加深,且系统的有效数值孔径不断增大。利用这一结果,在距PMMA表面20μm的地方得到了点间距1μm,层间距2.5μm的6层空间点阵;在距石英介质表面15μm的地方获得了点间距为0.6μm,层间距为2.5μm的5层空间点阵,其存储密度可达1.1×1012bits/cm3。 相似文献

The solid immersion lens (SIL) as a tool for increasing the field confinement as well as providing optimal performance by aberration compensation in a confocal fluorescence correlation spectroscopy (FCS) system is illustrated here. Using Zernike polynomials we show that aberration compensation and the resultant pre-shaping of the incident wavefront enables near diffraction-limited performance. This is explained based on vectorial computations for high apertures in the Debye approximation. The obtained axial resolution parameters are compared with the obtained diffusion times in a SIL-FCS experiment for measurements in solutions done at the single molecule level. 相似文献

Focusing properties of flattened Gaussian beams (FGBs) passing through an annular lens is studied based on the Collins formula. It is found that the on-axis irradiance distributions of focused FGBs are unsymmetrical with respect to the geometrical focal plane even for large values of Fresnel number Fw associated with the beam, so that there exist focal shifts in general. Detailed numerical results show the dependence of focal shifts on the beam and system parameters. Focal shifts of FGBs by a lens without central obscuration and focal shifts of Gaussian beams by an annular lens can be treated as special cases of the obscure ratio =0 and beam order N=0, respectively. Furthermore, focal shifts of plane waves by an annular lens can also be treated as a special case of N=0 and Fw→∞. 相似文献

We propose a method to improve the resolution of near-field optical system with a solid immersion lens by using a multiphase level Fresnel zone plate. The analyses are based on scalar angular spectrum theory. The results show that the multiphase Fresnel zone plate can not only decrease the spot size but also decrease the sidelobe intensity and enhance greatly the diffractive efficiency compared with annular amplitude filter or binary 2-, 3-, 4-zone phase filter. 相似文献

Based on the generalized Huygens-Fresnel diffraction integral and beam coherence polarization (BCP) matrix formulation, the focusing properties of a type of non-uniformly polarized (NUP) beam through a spherical aberrated lens with annular aperture are studied. The dependence of focal shift, intensity distribution, power in the bucket (PIB) and degree of polarization on the spherical aberration coefficient, obscure ratio and polarization parameters is illustrated numerically. The focusing of NUP beams by a spherically aberrated lens with circular aperture is treated as a special case, where the inner radius of the aperture is equal to zero. 相似文献

Based on the Richards–Wolf vector diffraction theory, the intensity distributions in the recording sample near a solid immersion lens are calculated for two different radially-polarized beams ( and modes). Numerical results show that a double-ring-shaped mode focusing has some excellent features in near-field optical storage, compared with a single-ring-shaped mode focusing. The recording density is markedly improved, the focal depth of the near-field recording system is substantially increased, and a subsurface recording is effectively obtained using the mode focusing. 相似文献

In solid immersion lens (SIL) microscopy systems with high numerical aperture (NA), there always exists the aberration produced by Fresnel effects at the interface between SIL and the sample. This aberration may cause the degradation of the image of sample. We design a continuous phase filter and optimize the optical field distribution of SIL system. The numerical results show that when the continuous phase filter is used, the field distribution of SIL system can be optimized, and the focal depth and intensity of transmitted light can be increased. At the same time, the intensity of side-lobe and the resolution are kept almost unchanged. 相似文献

A physical model of an annular-aperture solid immersion lens (SIL) is proposed, and its attractive features are presented numerically with the finite-difference time-domain method. Placing an appropriate annular aperture in front of the SIL shows that the focal depth can evidently be improved, combining the virtues of the annular-aperture technique and the SIL technique. With this proposed method the rigorous distance control condition in related devices can be relaxed, preventing scratches or collisions between the optical head and the recording medium. Potentially, this technique could have great prospects for applications in optical data recording, lithography, and other applications that depend on immersion media to meet the resolution criteria across the image field. 相似文献

用矢量衍射方法分析了线偏振光入射到带有三环位相型光瞳滤波器的高数值孔径物镜时,焦点的轴向和横向光强分布.数值模拟结果表明,高数值孔径物镜聚焦时需同时考虑光强的轴向和横向分布.通过加入三环位相光瞳滤波器,在实现横向超分辨的同时实现了光学系统轴向焦深扩展和轴向光强分布平坦化,并且位相调制深度变化时,会出现轴向焦移现象.对三环位相光瞳滤波器结构进行了优化,得出了优化结果.

The radial continuous transmittance filter is presented to realize transverse superresolution. It consists of two parallel polarizers and a radial birefringent element sandwiched between of them. By adjusting the angle between optical axis of the radial birefringent element and the polarization direction of the polarizers, transverse superresolution can be realized. But transverse superresolution is obtained at the cost of the axial resolution and the increase of the side-lobes in strength. So we then mend such filter, with it not only enhance the transverse resolution but also suppress the influence of the side-lobes and the reduction of the axial resolution. At the same time, the Strehl ratio increases. The advantage of such a filter used in superresolution technique is that it is easy to fabricate because its fabrication does not deal with the variation of the phase. 相似文献

The field distribution of a Weierstrass solid immersion lens (SIL) is presented, which shows that its focal depth is only in nanoscale. A novel filter design based on a three-zone binary phase pupil function is introduced for increasing the focal depth of a near-field Weierstrass SIL system and a procedure for designing a rotationally symmetric binary phase filter is presented. Numerical results show that an appropriate three-zone phase-only filter not only can evidently increase the focal depth of the SIL system, but also can effectively lower the spreading of the spot size with distance and suppress the side-lobe intensity. We investigate the focusing properties of an azimuthally polarized and amplitude modulated annular multi Gaussian beam by a high numerical aperture (NA) lens based on vector diffraction theory. We observe that our proposed system generates a subwavelength focal hole of 0.46λ having large uniform focal depth of 36λ without any annular obstruction. This kind of nondiffracting focal hole is called dark channel, which may have applications in atom optical experiments, such as with atomic lenses, atom traps, and atom switches. 相似文献
