The ceric ammonium nitrate promoted oxidations of 4,5-diphenyloxazoles and oxazoles with various substitution patterns have been investigated. This transformation results in the formation of the corresponding imide in good yield and tolerates a wide variety of functional groups and substituents on the oxazole moiety. Silica surface was modified with quaternary ammonium salts to give three matrices of different chain length. The synthesized supports were characterized by elemental analysis and infrared spectroscopy, as well as scanning electron microscopy and semi-empirical parametric method 5. Their exchange capacities for ClO4 , F, NO3 and CH3COO ions were investigated by conductometric titration. The amount of exchanged chloride ions from the matrix was studied for different initial anions concentration. The functionalized silica gel showed very good ability of perchlorate ions exchange from the water solution in room temperature. The anion-exchange properties were also studied in comparison to different number of reactive sites in the matrices. The increased number of chloride at the silica surface took effect on increased ability of ClO4 anion exchange   相似文献

A novel organic/inorganic hybrid material comprising carboncoated cobalt nanoparticles and a poly(benzylchloride)styrene shell is the first magnetic support that complies with important requirements for immobilized reagents and scavengers, that is, stability under harsh conditions (e.g., acids), sufficient loading (up to 2 mmol g(-1)), and satisfying magnetization. The durability of the scaffold was demonstrated by immobilization of a trialkylsilane reagent, which served as a "magnetic" protecting group for a number of primary and secondary alcohols. Importantly, the scaffold could be efficiently separated, recycled, and reused after alcohol cleavage (HF·pyridine) via regeneration of the silyl chloride moiety with BCl(3).  相似文献

The advantage of using a stepwise gradient of buffer concentration in CEC was demonstrated with the mixed-mode stationary phase, 3-(4-sulfo-1,8-naphthalimido)propyl-modified silyl silica gel (SNAIP). Before the application of a stepwise gradient, the effect of buffer concentration on the separations of six peptides and tryptic digests was investigated. Bubble formation caused by Joule heating at currents up to 95 microA was successfully suppressed by using SNAIP column even without pressurization, which contributed to a stepwise gradient of buffer concentration. Utilizing the stepwise gradient improved and shortened the separation of six peptides as compared to the separation under an isocratic elution.  相似文献

A mild and efficient process for the 1,4-addition of thiols and benzeneselenols to various α,β-unsaturated ketones using a catalytic amount of CAN with excellent product yields is described. This inexpensive, nontoxic, and readily available catalytic ceric(IV) ammonium nitrate system efficiently catalyzes conjugate addition reactions between thiol derivatives and various α,β-unsaturated ketones under solvent-free conditions. A plausible mechanism for the role of CAN, both as a promoter in free radical chain addition reactions as well as a catalyst for the conjugate addition process is proposed.  相似文献

N-Methylbenzylammonium fluorochromate(VI) (MBAFC) is easily synthesized by addition of N-methylbenzylamine to an aqueous solution of CrO3 and HF. MBAFC shows selectivity in the oxidation of aryl alcohols to their corresponding aldehydes and ketones under mild conditions. Esterification of a wide range of partially protected carbohydrate derivatives was achieved using acetic anhydride and a catalytic amount of ceric ammonium nitrate (CAN). Compatibility with the commonly used protecting groups was demonstrated, with the esterified products being furnished in good yields. Apart from affording the O-acetylated products, their mononitrated counterparts were also produced depending upon the reactivity of the starting material. Decreasing the molar equivalents of CAN afforded the O-acetylated products exclusively, while increasing it favored the mononitrated derivatives.  相似文献

The preparation and evaluation of zirconium-adsorbing silica gel (Zr-Silica) as an ion-exchange stationary phase in ion chromatography for inorganic anions and cations was carried out. The Zr-Silica was prepared by the reaction of silanol groups on the surface of the silica gel with zirconium butoxide (Zr(OCH2CH2CH2CH3)4) in ethanol. The ion-exchange characteristics of the Zr-Silica were evaluated using 10 mM tartaric acid at pH 2.5 as eluent. The Zr-Silica was found to act as a cation-exchanger under the eluent conditions. The retention behavior of alkali and alkaline earth metal cations was then investigated. The Zr-Silica column was proved to be suitable for the simultaneous separation of alkali metal cations and ammonium ion. Excellent separation of the cations on a 15 cm Zr-Silica column was achieved in 25 min using 10 mM tartaric acid as eluent.  相似文献

Reaction of N-Boc amino acids with ceric ammonium nitrate in an alcohol as the solvent at room temperature resulted in the esterification of N-Boc amino acids with Boc group retention. When the reaction was conducted at reflux temperature, esterification was accompanied with simultaneous removal of the Boc group. Both reactions gave the desired products in good yields.  相似文献

Polyethylene glycol (PEG) was found to be an inexpensive non-toxic and effective medium for the one-pot synthesis of N-substituted decahydroacridine-1,8-diones in the presence of ceric ammonium nitrate (CAN) as the catalyst in high yields. Silicomolybdic acid that is supported on silica gel (50 wt %) efficiently catalyzes the high-yielding Hosomi-Sakurai allylation of carbonyl compounds by allyltrimethylsilane in the presence of benzyl alcohol. This paper describes our research on the synthesis of the sorbent with chemically bonded ketoimine groups, and, furthermore, using this sorbent in the SPE technique to extract and preconcentrate trace amounts of metal ions in water samples. Surface characteristics of the sorbent were determined by elemental analysis, NMR spectra for the solid phases (29Si CP MAS NMR), and analysis of pore size distribution of the sorbent and nitrogen adsorption-desorption. The newly proposed sorbent with ketoimine groups was applied for the extraction and preconcentration of trace amounts of Cu (II), Cr (III) and Zn (II) ions from the water from a lake, post-industrial water and purified water unburdened back to the lake. The determination of the transition-metal ions was performed on an emission spectroscope with inductively coupled plasma ICP-OES. For the batch method, the optimum pH range for Cu (II) and Cr (III) extraction was equal to 5, and Zn(II)–to 8. All the metal ions can be desorbed from SPE columns with 10?mL of 0.5?mol?HNO3. The detection limits of the method were found to be 0.7?µg?L?1 for Cu (II), 0.08?µg?L?1 for Cr (III), and 0.2?µg?L?1 for Zn (II), respectively.  相似文献

Sol–gel based transparent functional coatings such as easy-to-clean coatings, anti-glare coatings, anti-reflective coatings, and anti-fingerprint coatings have been developed and commercialized for display applications. These coatings can be applied by a spray process on the glass substrates followed by a low temperature curing at 100° to 150?°C. Hydrophobic easy-to-clean coatings exhibit high water contact angles at ≥115°, with an excellent wear durability by passing 10,000 cycles using #0000 steel wool under 1?kg load. In addition, easy-to-clean coatings show a silky touch feel with a coefficient of friction of less than 0.03. Anti-glare coatings without particles have a gloss value between 50 to 100 gloss units, an adhesion of 5B, a pencil hardness ≥8?H, and no sparkling issues on touch screen displays. A combination of easy-to-clean coatings on top of anti-glare coatings significantly increases the stylus pen durability. Single-layer anti-reflective coatings show a transmittance increase of 1.5% to 2.0% by spray coating on a single side of the glass substrate, or a transmittance increase of more than 4.0% by dip-coating on a polycarbonate substrate. Anti-fingerprint coatings show less obvious fingerprints on the coated glass surface compared to those on uncoated glass surface. These coating solutions have been scaled up to 1000?kg batch in PPG’s Tianjin plant, China.
Anti-glare coatings with irregular surface microstructures formed during a spray process have a gloss value between 50 to 100 gloss units, a pencil hardness ≥8H, and no sparkling issues on touch screen displays. Optical profiler image (with ×50.3 magnification) of the anti-glare coating surface (70 gloss units) shows irregular microstructure patterns which are random locally but uniform in large area. The light scattering on the anti-glare coating surface is caused by these irregular surface microstructures. Thus the specular reflection is significantly reduced, causing glare reduction, gloss decrease, and haze increase.
