Experimental support is found for the multiband model of the superconductivity in the recently discovered system MgB(2) with the transition temperature T(c) = 39 K. By means of Andreev reflection, evidence is obtained for two distinct superconducting energy gaps. The sizes of the two gaps ( Delta(S) = 2.8 meV and Delta(L) = 7 meV) are, respectively, smaller and larger than the expected weak coupling value. Because of the temperature smearing of the spectra the two gaps are hardly distinguishable at elevated temperatures, but when a magnetic field is applied the presence of two gaps can be demonstrated close to the bulk T(c) in the raw data.  相似文献

A coexistence of magnetic ordering and superconductivity has been found in GdBa2(Cu0.94Fe0.06)3O7 at 4.2 K. The magnetic ordering is seen in the Fe moments using Mössbauer spectroscopy. The small Fe percentage was chosen to enable us to probe the crystalline and magnetic environment of an isolated Fe ion. Possible mechanisms responsible for the establishment of the magnetic order and its nature are discussed.  相似文献

Laser induced plasma emission spectra from highT c superconducting samples of YBa2Cu3O7 and GdBa2Cu3O7 obtained with 1.06μm radiation from a Q switched Nd:YAG laser beam has been analysed. The results clearly show the presence of diatomic oxides in addition to ionized species of the constituent metals in the plasma thus produced.  相似文献

利用电介质的平均能带模型计算了 Gd Ba2 Cu3O7的化学键参数 ,得到 Cu(1 ) - O键的平均共价性为 0 .41 6,Cu(2 ) - O键的平均共价性为 0 .2 8。应用由共价性和极化率定义的化学环境因子计算了 57Fe在 Gd Ba2 Cu3O7中的 Mossbauer同质异能位移 ,确定了 57Fe在 Gd Ba2 Cu3O7中的价态和占位情况。  相似文献

YBa2Cu3O7/PrBa2Cu3O7 (YBCO/PBCO) superlattices with a different ratio of the superconducting and insulating layer thicknesses were prepared by high pressure dc sputtering. The vortex-creep activation energy U0 was determined by analyzing the in-plane resistive transition of 200 μm wide bridges with the external magnetic field B oriented along the c axis. It was found that U0 is proportional to the thickness of the YBCO layers, and does only weakly depend on the PBCO layer thickness, when the latter exceeds two unit cells. We observed a change in the variation of U0 with the current I in the specimen: U0 exhibits a plateau in the low-I region, then decreases significantly with increasing I. This behaviour is explained in terms of a crossover plastic vortex creep – elastic (collective) creep induced by the transport current.  相似文献

The current-carrying nature and its response to the weak magnetic field and temperature of the highT c ceramic superconductor GdBa2Cu2O7–y have been investigated by measuring theI–V characteristics in different magnetic fields and at different temperatures. The experimental results show that the critical curent density is very sensitive to the weak magnetic field. The behaviors ofI c (H) andI c (T) are all of the Josephson-junction-like features. Some explanations are given based on the model of the S–N–I–N–S weak-link junction network.  相似文献

The magnetically ordered state of GdBa2Cu3O7 at low temperatures has been investigated using the extended Luttinger-Tisza method. It is found that the observed ordering of this compound can be explained by a purely dipole-dipole interaction. An estimate has been made of the internal magnetic field produced due to magnetic ordering of Gd metal ions at a copper site and it is found that the values are within the range of superconducting quenching field and may permit the coexistence of magnetic ordering and superconductivity.  相似文献

The influence of hydrostatic pressure and of magnetic field strenght is presented for the low temperature antiferromagnetic ordering temperature (TN=2.3 K) of GdBa2Cu3O7-x. Data are presented for both superconducting and normal samples, the superconducting sample having a sharp 95 K transition and the oxygen-depleted normal sample being a semiconductor. For both systems the Néel temperatures, extrapolated to zero measuring field, are identical: TN = (2.33±0.03) K. The effect of pressure is to raise the transition temperature slightly for both samples, dTN/dP=+0.03 K/kbar for the superconducting sample and +0.04 K/kbar for the normal sample. The temperature dependence of the heat capacity made in several fixed external magnetic fields and the isothermal magnetization for T<TN provide a measure of the antiferromagnetic-paramagnetic phase boundary, which shows TN approaching T=0 K at about 2.5 T.  相似文献

The thermal expansion of the High Tc superconducting ceramic YBa2Cu3O7-δ has been measured from 50 K up to room temperature by means of a capacitance dilatometer. No detectable anomalous change in lenght is observed at the critical temperature Tc, within the resolution of our experimental set up: Δl/l = 5 10−8. This indicates a weak dependence of Tc on pressure, contrarily to the one measured on (LaBa)CuO lower Tc superconducting ceramics. The Debye temperature is also estimated.  相似文献
