We analyse the properties of the ground state bayons in the non-relativistic quark model. The three-body problem is solved by means of the hyperspherical expansion. We consider various two-body potentials of power law type and also a three-body linear potential. In displaying the results, we insist on quantities like ratios of splittings which are scale independent and are functions only of the power of the potential and of the ratio of quark masses.  相似文献

A non-relativistic potential model is applied to the study of light-meson spectroscopy. The general agreement between the predictions of the model and the data is good, but some resonances, among them the ε(1.300), ?(1.640) andS *(0.980), are not easily explained. We incorporate chiral invariance into a non-relativistic scheme for baryon structure in an approximate way, by introducing additional mesonic degrees of freedom. We proceed to calculate static properties for the nucleon and isobar. Using standard few-body techniques we are able to eliminate center-of-mass spurious motion from the wave functions. In our scheme a D-state admixture arises in the nucleon and isobar wave functions. There are parametrizations compatible with sphericity leading to a strong quenching of the effective quark axial coupling constant. Others lead to deformed ground-state baryons with almost no quenching of the weak-coupling constant.  相似文献

General conditions are derived for matrix elements of a quark-confining potential that is assumed to yield the nucleon and delta spectra with oscillator variational states. Parameters are given for a particular functional form for the confining potential under various fitting criteria to the baryon spectra; this form is to be used in subsequent calculations of the nuclear force.  相似文献

Baryon Bethe-Salpeter amplitudes for excited states are constructed in a Bethe-Salpeter model with harmonic oscillator interaction using the spinstructure of the ground states. The near-infrared spectra of formamide and its N- and C-deuterated compounds in chloroform solutions were investigated and a perturbation calculation of the vibrational levels of these isotopic formamides was carried out. The trans-interaction constant and the cubic cross-term constants between the NH stretching and the CNH bending coordinates were found to be necessary to reproduce observed frequencies. The stretching potentials of the trans- and the cis-NH bonds show close correspondence with those of the free and the bonded NH bonds of o-bromoaniline. The correlation between the compliance constants and the change of the CH, CO, and NH bond lengths on the dissociation of the CN bond is discussed.  相似文献

In this study, we present the analytical solutions of bound states for the Schrodinger equation with the multiparameter potential containing the different types of physical potentials via the asymptotic iteration method by applying the Pekeristype approximation to the centrifugal potential. For any n and l(states) quantum numbers, we derive the relation that gives the energy eigenvalues for the bound states numerically and the corresponding normalized eigenfunctions. We also plot some graphics in order to investigate effects of the multiparameter potential parameters on the energy eigenvalues.Furthermore, we compare our results with the ones obtained in previous works and it is seen that our numerical results are in good agreement with the literature.  相似文献

Inclusive spectra of nucleons, antinucleons, Λ and \(\bar \Lambda \) -hyperons inpp-collisions are calculated in a framework of the quark-gluon strings model. It is shown that the model reproduces the main features of the inclusive baryon production. In particular it well describes rapid increase with energy of the mean antibaryon multiplicity up to energy of the SPS-collider.  相似文献

The mass spectra of the ground state and excited heavy baryons consisting of two light (u, d, s) and one heavy (c, b) quarks are calculated. The heavy-quark-light-diquark picture is used within the relativistic quark model. An overall good agreement of the obtained predictions with available experimental data is found. Incorporating the lowest-order pionic correction, the magnetic moments of the nucleon octet have been calculated in a chiral potential model. The potential, representing phenomenologically the nonperturbative gluon interactions including gluon self-couplings, is chosen with equally mixed scalar and vector parts in a power-law form. Two-color stepwise excitation and photoionization schemes are adopted to study the spectra of bound even-parity high-lying states of the Sm atom with three different excitation paths via the 4f66s6p 7DJ (J=1, 2 and 3) intermediate states. In order to obtain the information of these high-lying states, the Sm atom in these high-lying states is photoionized with an extra photon. Among 231 states detected in the energy region between 35,545 and 44,225 cm−1, 108 states are newly discovered, while the rest can be identified as the same with the literature. In most cases, comparisons of the spectra corresponding to the three different excitation paths may partially determine the total angular momentum of the observed peaks with the selection rules. In addition, the relative intensities of all related transition lines are given.  相似文献

We study multi-skyrmion states using the Skyrme model with a false vacuum potential up to baryon number B=8 using the product ansatz.It is found that both the false and true vacuum potentials can result in a cluster structure for the multi-skyrmion states.We also analyze the effect of explicit chiral breaking on the masses and contour surfaces of the baryon number density of the multi-skyrmion states.  相似文献

The random field Ising model is studied numerically at both zero and positive temperature. Ground states are mapped out in a region of random field and external field strength. Thermal states and thermodynamic properties are obtained for all temperatures using the Wang-Landau algorithm. The specific heat and susceptibility typically display sharp peaks in the critical region for large systems and strong disorder. These sharp peaks result from large domains flipping. For a given realization of disorder, ground states and thermal states near the critical line are found to be strongly correlated--a concrete manifestation of the zero temperature fixed point scenario.  相似文献
