Hierarchical and hollow nanostructures have recently attracted considerable attention because of their fantastic architectures and tunable property for facile lithium ion insertion and good cycling stability. In this study, a one‐pot and unusual carving protocol is demonstrated for engineering hollow structures with a porous shell. Hierarchical TiO2 hollow spheres with nanosheet‐assembled shells (TiO2 NHS) were synthesized by the sequestration between the titanium source and 2,2′‐bipyridine‐5,5′‐dicarboxylic acid, and kinetically controlled etching in trifluoroacetic acid medium. In addition, annealing such porous nanostructures presents the advantage of imparting carbon‐doped functional performance to its counterpart under different atmospheres. Such highly porous structures endow very large specifics surface area of 404 m2 g?1 and 336 m2 g?1 for the as‐prepared and calcination under nitrogen gas. C/TiO2 NHS has high capacity of 204 mA h g?1 at 1 C and a reversible capacity of 105 mA h g?1 at a high rate of 20 C, and exhibits good cycling stability and superior rate capability as an anode material for lithium‐ion batteries. 相似文献

Although the synthesis of mesoporous materials is well established, the preparation of TiO2 fiber bundles with mesostructures, highly crystalline walls, and good thermal stability on the RGO nanosheets remains a challenge. Herein, a low‐cost and environmentally friendly hydrothermal route for the synthesis of RGO nanosheet‐supported anatase TiO2 fiber bundles with dense mesostructures is used. These mesostructured TiO2‐RGO materials are used for investigation of Li‐ion insertion properties, which show a reversible capacity of 235 mA h g?1 at 200 mA g?1 and 150 mA h g?1 at 1000 mA g?1 after 1000 cycles. The higher specific surface area of the new mesostructures and high conductive substrate (RGO nanosheets) result in excellent lithium storage performance, high‐rate performance, and strong cycling stability of the TiO2‐RGO composites. 相似文献

Mesoporous Li4Ti5O12 (LTO) thin film is an important anode material for lithium‐ion batteries (LIBs). Mesoporous films could be prepared by self‐assembly processes. A molten‐salt‐assisted self‐assembly (MASA) process is used to prepare mesoporous thin films of LTOs. Clear solutions of CTAB, P123, LiNO3, HNO3, and Ti(OC4H9)4 in ethanol form gel‐like meso‐ordered films upon either spin or spray coating. In the assembly process, the CTAB/P123 molar ratio of 14 is required to accommodate enough salt species in the mesophase, in which the LiI/P123 ratio can be varied between molar ratios of 28 and 72. Calcination of the meso‐ordered films produces transparent mesoporous spinel LTO films that are abbreviated as Cxx‐yyy‐zzz or CAxx‐yyy‐zzz (C=calcined, CA=calcined–annealed, xx=LiI/P123 molar ratio, and yyy=calcination and zzz=annealing temperatures in Celsius) herein. All samples were characterized by using XRD, TEM, N2‐sorption, and Raman techniques and it was found that, at all compositions, the LTO spinel phase formed with or without an anatase phase as an impurity. Electrochemical characterization of the films shows excellent performance at different current rates. The CA40‐350‐450 sample performs best among all samples tested, yielding an average discharge capacity of (176±1) mA h g?1 at C/2 and (139±4) mA h g?1 at 50 C and keeping 92 % of its initial discharge capacity upon 50 cycles at C/2. 相似文献

Phase‐pure anatase TiO2 nanofibers with a fiber‐in‐tube structure were prepared by the electrospinning process. The burning of titanium‐oxide‐carbon composite nanofibers with a filled structure formed as an intermediate product under an oxygen atmosphere produced carbon‐free TiO2 nanofibers with a fiber‐in‐tube structure. The sizes of the nanofiber core and hollow nanotube were 140 and 500 nm, respectively. The heat treatment of the electrospun nanofibers at 450 and 500 °C under an air atmosphere produced grey and white filled‐structured TiO2 nanofibers, respectively. The initial discharge capacities of the TiO2 nanofibers with the fiber‐in‐tube and filled structures and the commercial TiO2 nanopowders were 231, 134, and 223 mA h g?1, respectively, and their corresponding charge capacities were 170, 100, and 169 mA h g?1, respectively. The 1000th discharge capacities of the TiO2 nanofibers with the fiber‐in‐tube and filled structures and the commercial TiO2 nanopowders were 177, 64, and 101 mA h g?1, respectively, and their capacity retentions measured from the second cycle were 89, 82, and 52 %, respectively. The TiO2 nanofibers with the fiber‐in‐tube structure exhibited low charge transfer resistance and structural stability during cycling and better cycling and rate performances than the TiO2 nanofibers with filled structures and the commercial TiO2 nanopowders. 相似文献

Herein, a peapod‐like TiO2/carbon nanocomposite has successfully been synthesized by a rational method for the first time. The novel nanostructure exhibits a distinct feature of TiO2 nanoparticles encapsulated inside and the carbon fiber coating outside. In the synthetic process, H2Ti3O7 nanotubes serve as precursors and templates, and glucose molecules act as the green carbon source. With the alliciency of hydrogen bonding between H2Ti3O7 and glucose, a thin polymer layer is hydrothermally assembled and subsequently converted into carbon fibers through calcinations under an inert atmosphere. Meanwhile, the precursors of H2Ti3O7 nanotubes are transformed into the TiO2 nanoparticles encapsulated in carbon fibers. The achieved unique nanocomposites can be used as excellent anode materials in lithium‐ion batteries (LIBs) and photocatalytic reagents in the degradation of rhodamine B. Due to the synergistic effect derived from TiO2 nanoparticles and carbon fibers, the obtained peapod‐like TiO2/carbon cannot only deliver a high specific capacity of 160 mAh g?1 over 500 cycles in LIBs, but also perform a much faster photodegradation rate than bare TiO2 and P25. Furthermore, owing to the low cost, environmental friendliness as well as abundant source, this novel TiO2/carbon nanocomposite will have a great potential to be extended to other application fields, such as specific catalysis, gas sensing, and photovoltaics. 相似文献

Nanometer‐sized flakes of MnV2O6 were synthesized by a hydrothermal method. No surfactant, expensive metal salt, or alkali reagent was used. These MnV2O6 nanoflakes present a high discharge capacity of 768 mA h g?1 at 200 mA g?1, good rate capacity, and excellent cycling stability. Further investigation demonstrates that the nanoflake structure and the specific crystal structure make the prepared MnV2O6 a suitable material for lithium‐ion batteries. 相似文献

Amorphous Si (a‐Si) shows potential advantages over crystalline Si (c‐Si) in lithium‐ion batteries, owing to its high lithiation potential and good tolerance to intrinsic strain/stress. Herein, porous a‐Si has been synthesized by a simple process, without the uses of dangerous or expensive reagents, sophisticated equipment, and strong acids that potential cause environment risks. These porous a‐Si particles exhibit excellent electrochemical performances, owing to their porous structure, amorphous nature, and surface modification. They deliver a capacity of 1025 mAh g?1 at 3 A g?1 after 700 cycles. Moreover, the reversible capacity after electrochemical activation, is quite stable throughout the cycling, resulting in a capacity retention about around 88 %. The direct comparison between a‐Si and c‐Si anodes clearly supports the advantages of a‐Si in lithium‐ion batteries. 相似文献

Lithium–sulfur (Li–S) batteries have shown great potential as high energy‐storage devices. However, the stability of the Li metal anode is still a major concern. This is due to the formation of lithium dendrites and severe side reactions with polysulfide intermediates. We herein develop an anode protection method by coating a Nafion/TiO2 composite layer on the Li anode to solve these problems. In this architecture, Nafion suppresses the growth of Li dendrites, protects the Li anode, and prevents side reactions between polysulfides and the Li anode. Moreover, doped TiO2 further improves the ionic conductivity and mechanical properties of the Nafion membrane. Li–S batteries with a Nafion/TiO2‐coated Li anode exhibit better cycling stability (776 mA h g?1 after 100 cycles at 0.2 C, 1 C=1672 mA g?1) and higher rate performance (787 mA h g?1 at 2 C) than those with a pristine Li anode. This work provides an alternative way to construct stable Li anodes for high‐performance Li–S batteries. 相似文献

The preparation of novel one‐dimensional core–shell Fe/Fe2O3 nanowires as anodes for high‐performance lithium‐ion batteries (LIBs) is reported. The nanowires are prepared in a facile synthetic process in aqueous solution under ambient conditions with subsequent annealing treatment that could tune the capacity for lithium storage. When this hybrid is used as an anode material for LIBs, the outer Fe2O3 shell can act as an electrochemically active material to store and release lithium ions, whereas the highly conductive and inactive Fe core functions as nothing more than an efficient electrical conducting pathway and a remarkable buffer to tolerate volume changes of the electrode materials during the insertion and extraction of lithium ions. The core–shell Fe/Fe2O3 nanowire maintains an excellent reversible capacity of over 767 mA h g?1 at 500 mA g?1 after 200 cycles with a high average Coulombic efficiency of 98.6 %. Even at 2000 mA g?1, a stable capacity as high as 538 mA h g?1 could be obtained. The unique composition and nanostructure of this electrode material contribute to this enhanced electrochemical performance. Due to the ease of large‐scale fabrication and superior electrochemical performance, these hybrid nanowires are promising anode materials for the next generation of high‐performance LIBs. 相似文献

A series of nanostructured carbon/antimony composites have been successfully synthesized by a simple sol–gel, high‐temperature carbon thermal reduction process. In the carbon/antimony composites, antimony nanoparticles are homogeneously dispersed in the pyrolyzed nanoporous carbon matrix. As an anode material for lithium‐ion batteries, the C/Sb10 composite displays a high initial discharge capacity of 1214.6 mAh g?1 and a reversible charge capacity of 595.5 mAh g?1 with a corresponding coulombic efficiency of 49 % in the first cycle. In addition, it exhibits a high reversible discharge capacity of 466.2 mAh g?1 at a current density of 100 mA g?1 after 200 cycles and a high rate discharge capacity of 354.4 mAh g?1 at a current density of 1000 mA g?1. The excellent cycling stability and rate discharge performance of the C/Sb10 composite could be due to the uniform dispersion of antimony nanoparticles in the porous carbon matrix, which can buffer the volume expansion and maintain the integrity of the electrode during the charge–discharge cycles. 相似文献

Excellent Performance of Few‐Layer Borocarbonitrides as Anode Materials in Lithium‐Ion Batteries 下载免费PDF全文
Borocarbonitrides (BxCyNz) with a graphene‐like structure exhibit a remarkable high lithium cyclability and current rate capability. The electrochemical performance of the BxCyNz materials, synthesized by using a simple solid‐state synthesis route based on urea, was strongly dependent on the composition and surface area. Among the three compositions studied, the carbon‐rich compound B0.15C0.73N0.12 with the highest surface area showed an exceptional stability (over 100 cycles) and rate capability over widely varying current density values (0.05–1 A g?1). B0.15C0.73N0.12 has a very high specific capacity of 710 mA h g?1 at 0.05 A g?1. With the inclusion of a suitable additive in the electrolyte, the specific capacity improved drastically, recording an impressive value of nearly 900 mA h g?1 at 0.05 A g?1. It is believed that the solid–electrolyte interphase (SEI) layer at the interface of BxCyNz and electrolyte also plays a crucial role in the performance of the BxCyNz . 相似文献

Porous microspherical Li4Ti5O12 aggregates (LTO‐PSA) can be successfully prepared by using porous spherical TiO2 as a titanium source and lithium acetate as a lithium source followed by calcinations. The synthesized LTO‐PSA possess outstanding morphology, with nanosized, porous, and spherical distributions, that allow good electrochemical performances, including high reversible capacity, good cycling stability, and impressive rate capacity, to be achieved. The specific capacity of the LTO‐PSA at 30 C is as high as 141 mA h g?1, whereas that of normal Li4Ti5O12 powders prepared by a sol–gel method can only achieve 100 mA h g?1. This improved rate performance can be ascribed to small Li4Ti5O12 nanocrystallites, a three‐dimensional mesoporous structure, and enhanced ionic conductivity. 相似文献

In this article, the two‐layer sandwiched graphene@LiFe0.2Co0.8O2 nanoparticles (SG@LFCO) have been prepared and investigated as high‐rate and long‐life cathode materials for rechargeable lithium‐ion batteries. The materials possess a high‐surface area (267.1 m2 g?1) and lots of void spaces. By combining various favorable conditions, such as Fe doping, coating graphene, and designing novel morphology, the as‐prepared materials deliver a specific capacity of 115 mAh g?1 at 10 C. At the 0.1 C cycling rate, the capacity retention of 97.2 % is sustained after 250 cycles and a coulombic efficiency of around 97.6 % is obtained. 相似文献

A novel ambient hydrolysis deposition (AHD) methodology that employs sequential water adsorption followed by a hydrolysis reaction to infiltrate SnO2 nanoparticles into the nanopores of mesoporous carbon in a conformal and controllable manner is introduced. The empty space in the SnO2/C composites can be adjusted by varying the number of AHD cycles. An SnO2/C composite with an intermediate SnO2 loading exhibited an initial specific delithiation capacity of 1054 mAh g?1 as an anode for Li‐ion batteries. The capacity contribution from SnO2 in the composite electrode approaches the theoretical capacity of SnO2 (1494 mAh g?1) if both Sn alloying and SnO2 conversion reactions are considered to be reversible. The composite shows a specific capacity of 573 mAh g?1 after 300 cycles, that is, one of the most stable cycling performances for SnO2/mesoporous carbon composites. The results demonstrated the importance of well‐tuned empty space in nanostructured composites to accommodate expansion of the electrode active mass during alloying/dealloying and conversion reactions. 相似文献
