Abstract

A new simple and sensitive method has been proposed for rapid determination of trace levels of silver in environmental water samples, using dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction (DLLME) prior to its microsample introduction-flame atomic absorption spectrometry. Under the optimum conditions, the linear range was 0.1–7 µg L?1 and limit of detection was 0.018 µg L?1. The relative standard deviation for 0.50 and 5.00 µg L?1 of silver in water sample was 4.0 and 1.7%, respectively. The relative recoveries of silver from tap, well, river, and seawater samples at spiking levels of 1.00 and 5.00 µg L?1 were in the range of 86.4–98.6%.  相似文献

In this work, magnetic solid-phase extraction based on sodium dodecyl sulfate-coated Fe3O4 nanoparticles has been successfully applied for extraction and preconcentration of trace amounts of nystatin from water and vaccine samples prior to high-performance liquid chromatography–ultraviolet detection. Various experimental parameters affecting extraction and recovery of the analyte, such as the amount of sodium dodecyl sulfate, pH of the sample solution, salt concentration, extraction time, sample volume and desorption conditions, were systematically studied and optimized. Under optimized conditions, nystatin was quantitatively extracted. Proper linear range with good coefficient of determination, (R 2 > 0.99) and limit of detection and quantification (based on signal-to-noise ratios of 3 and 10) of 2.0 and 5.0 µg L?1, over the investigated concentration range (5–700 µg L?1), were obtained, respectively. The intra-day and inter-day relative standard deviations at 50 µg L?1 level of NYS were 1.4 and 4.5% based on six replicate determinations. The accuracy of the method was evaluated by recovery measurements on spiked samples. Suitable recoveries of 96–102 and 26–44% were achieved (at spiked levels of 50, 300 and 500 µg L?1) for water and vaccine samples, respectively.  相似文献

以Cu(II)为光谱探针建立了一种高选择性、高灵敏度测定异烟肼的新方法。试验表明:在pH 6.0时,Cu(II)可被异烟肼还原生成Cu(I),反应生成的Cu(I) 与SCN-反应生成CuSCN白色乳状沉淀,在硝酸钠的存在下该沉淀可被浮选至水相表面。通过测定水相中剩余Cu(II)的量,可以间接测定异烟肼的含量。已反应Cu(II) 的量与异烟肼的浓度呈良好的线性关系,线性范围为0.050-4.50 µg mL-1,检出限为0.048 µg mL-1。该法已经成功的用于药物样品和病人尿液样品中异烟肼含量的测定。  相似文献

A facile,rapid and sensitive spectrophotometric method was developed for the determination of carbaryl in itsformulations,water and grain(rice and wheat)samples with newly synthesised reagent.The proposed method wasbased on the alkaline hydrolysis of carbaryl pesticide and thus resulted 1-naphthol was coupled with diazotised4,4'-methylene-bis-m-nitroaniline in basic medium(pH 9)to give red colored product having λ_(max)480 nm for dia-zonium method(DM)or 1-naphthol reacts with 4,4'-methylene-bis-m-nitroaniline in the presence of oxidising agentpotassium dichromate(K_2Cr_2O_7)to give red colored product having λ_(max)510 nm for oxidation method(OM).Theformation of colored derivatives with the coupling agent is instantaneous and stable for 48 h(DM)and 32 h(OM)respectively.Beer's law was obeyed in the concentration range of 0.2—10.0 μg·mL~(-1)for DM and 0.2—0,150μg·mL~(-1)for OM.The proposed methods are sensitive,easy to operate and permitted for the determination of car-baryl with detection limits of 0.028 μg·mL~(-1)for DM and 0.024 μg·mL~(-1)for OM respectively.The experimentalresults indicate that the procedure can eliminate the fundamental interferences caused by other pesticides andnon-target ions,which made the methods more sensitive and selective.The method was applicable to the determina-tion of carbaryl residue in water and food grain samples up to μg level.  相似文献

Abstract

A new method for flow-injection analysis (FIA) for the determination of penicillins based on the extraction and spectrophotometric determination of ion associates with selected thiazine dyes (methylene blue, azure A, and azure B) is proposed. The reaction conditions (cdye = 2 × 10?4 mol l?1, cKCl = 1 mol l?1, pH ? 6, λ = 635 nm) were found. The factorial design has been carried out to determine the optimum flow conditions. A wide linear dynamic range of calibration curves (5.1–700 µg ml?1 for penicillin V with all dyes, R = 0.9985) and good repeatability (e.g., relative standard deviation [RSD] = 4.6–0.6% in this concentration range for the reaction with azure B) were found. The detection limit for penicillin V is 1.5 µg ml?1, and the determination limit is 5.1 µg ml?1. The maximum analysis rate is 35 samples per h. The practical samples of pharmaceutics were tested. There are no interferences from the additives in pharmaceutics.  相似文献

Magnetic nanoparticle-assisted solid-phase dispersion (MMSPD) combined with dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction (DLLME) prior to high performance liquid chromatography with fluorescence detector (HPLC–FLU) is presented for determination of ultra trace Bisphenol A (BPA) in water. Magnetic multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MMWCNTs) were synthesized for the adsorption of BPA in water. Ultra trace BPA in water was transferred into the elute solvent by the MMSPD and further concentrated into trace volume extraction solvent by the DLLME. The limit of detection and limit of quantitation were 0.003 and 0.01 µg L?1, respectively. Good linearity of BPA was found, ranging from 0.01 to 10 µg L?1, with good squared regression coefficient (R 2) of 0.9999. Additionally, relative recoveries were 83.1 and 95.9% for two environmental water samples spiked with 0.20 µg L?1 BPA, respectively. All results showed that the MMWCNTs nanoparticle-assisted MMSPD–DLLME–HPLC–FLU method was simple and reliable for the determination of ultra trace BPA in environmental water.  相似文献

An extraction-spectrophotometric method for the determination of trace amounts of fluconazole was described. Fluconazole was effectively extracted as a 1 : 1 ion-pair complex with bromocresole green (BCG) at pH 3.0 into chloroform, followed by spectrophotometric determination at 420 nm. Beer's law was obeyed over the range of 4-50 μg.mL^-1 of fluconazole with a detection limit of 3.7 μg.mL^-1 . The method is simple, rapid and sensitive. The procedure was applied to the determination of fluconazole in pharmaceutical preparations as well as its recovery from a blood serum sample.  相似文献

Abstract

A effective and simple determination of poisonous trace element thallium(I) by means of kinetic catalytic reaction is proposed. The method is based on a catalytic effect of thallium(I) on a luminol-hydrogen peroxide system. Three different kinds of surfactants, cetrimonium bromide (CTMAB), sodium dodecyl sulphate (SDS), and Tween-80, are also investigated to improve the detection sensitivity. In optimum conditions, a highly selective and sensitive method for detecting trace thallium(I) has been established. The detection limit is 0.0073 µg · mL?1, the relative standard deviation for six determinations of 0.04 µg · mL?1 thallium(I) is less than 4.0%, and the linear range of determination is 0.02–0.1 µg · mL?1.  相似文献

A new analytical procedure for the determination of five organotin compounds in several matrix wine samples is reported. The organotin compounds were extracted by microwave-assisted extraction with n-hexane. Extraction conditions, such as volume of n-hexane required, extraction temperature, and extraction time, were investigated and optimized by an orthogonal array experimental design. The determination of organotin compounds in the final extracts was carried out by liquid chromatography–inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry. The procedure showed limits of detection between 0.029–0.049 µg · L?1. The linearity was in the range of 0.5 to 100 µg · L?1. The precision expressed as relative standard deviation (RSD) was below 9.43%. The developed method was successfully employed to analyze different matrix wine samples, and some analytes were detected at the level of 0.053 to 1.14 µg · L?1.  相似文献

A flow injection system is proposed for catalytic kinetic spectrophotometric determination of trace iron(II + III). The involved reaction is based on the catalytic effect of iron(III) on oxidation reaction of xylenol orange by potassium bromate to form a blue-violet complex. Iron(II) is also determined, being oxidized to iron(III) by potassium bromate. The calibration graph is linear in the range of 0.02–10.0 µg l?1 and 10.0–1100 µg l?1. The relative standard deviation is 1.5% for 4.0 µg l?1 iron(III) and 2.3% for 60.0µg l?1 iron(III) (n = 11). The presented system was applied successfully to the determination of iron in natural waters.  相似文献

This article reviews the use of square wave anodic stripping voltammetry for the simultaneous determination of ecotoxic metals (Pb, Cd, Cu, and Zn) on a bismuth-film (BiFE) electrode. The BiFE was prepared in situ on a glassy-carbon electrode (GCE) from the 0.1 mol L?1 acetate buffer solution (pH 4.5) containing 200 µg L?1 of bismuth (III). The addition of hydrogen peroxide to the electroanalytical cell proved beneficial for the interference-free determination of Cu (II) together with zinc, lead, and cadmium, using the BiFE. The experimental variables were investigated and optimized with the view to apply this type of voltammetric sensor to real samples containing traces of these metals. The performance characteristics, such as reproducibility, decision limit (CCa), detection capability (CCβ), sensitivity, and accuracy indicated that the method holds promise for trace Cu2+, Pb2+, Cd2+, and Zn2+ levels by employment of Hg-free GCE with SWASV. CCa, and CCβ were calculated according to the Commission Decision of 12 August 2002 (2002/657/EC). Linearity was observed in the range 20–280 µg L?1 for zinc, 10–100 µg L?1 for lead, 10–80 µg L?1 for copper, and 5–50 µg L?1 for cadmium. Using the optimized conditions, the stripping performance of the BiFE was characterized by low limits of detection (LOD). Finally, the method was successfully applied in real as well as in certified reference water samples.  相似文献

This paper describes a simple and sensitive method for the determination of manganese in human urine by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectroscopy (GFAAS), which includes sample preparation by microwave digestion. Matrix modifier combinations, the digestion power, pyrolysis, and atomization temperatures were optimized. A mixture of 5.0 µg Pd(NO3)2 and 3.2 µg Mg(NO3)2 modifier presented the best performance. The optimal temperatures for pyrolysis and atomization were 1500°C and 1950°C, respectively. The GFAAS method was compared to inductively coupled plasma–mass spectrometry (ICP–MS) for the determination of manganese in urine. Analytical figures of merit for GFAAS and ICP–MS were: accuracy (3.46%, 2.19%), precision (3.61%, 5.84%), LOD (0.109 µg · L?1, 0.015 µg · L?1), LOQ (0.327 µg · L?1, 0.045 µg · L?1), and recovery (80–100%, 74–89%). Both methods were employed for the determination of Mn in urine and the results were compared statistically.  相似文献

Abstract

The chemical composition of Tussilago farfara L. essential oil from the Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean region of Quebec, Canada was analyzed by gas chromatography–flame ionisation detector (GC-FID) and gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (GC-MS), and the antibacterial activity of the oil was tested against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus. Forty-five (45) compounds were identified from the GC profile. The main components were 1-nonene (40.1%), α-phellandrene (26.0%) and ρ-cymene (6.6%). The essential oil demonstrated antibacterial activity against E. coli (MIC50 = 468 µg·mL?1; MIC90 = 6869 µg·mL?1) and S. aureus (MIC50 = 368 µg·mL?1; MIC90 = 773 µg·mL?1). Dodecanoic acid was found to be active against both bacteria having a MIC50 and MIC90 of 16.4 µg·mL?1 and 95 µg·mL?1, respectively for E. coli and a MIC50 and MIC90 of 9.8 µg·mL?1 and 27.3 µg·mL?1, respectively for S. aureus. In addition, 1-decene and (E)-cyclodecene were also found to be active against E. coli.  相似文献

Adsorptive cathodic stripping voltammetry (AdCSV) with HDME and a chloranilic acid ligand was used in the trace analysis of uranyl ions at pH?=?2 in low-ionic-strength groundwaters around mining areas. Upon optimization, the limit of detection around 0.10?µg?L?1 was found with linearity up to 10?µg?L?1. In the abandoned mining area of Val Vedello (Orobic Alps, Italy), measured uranium concentrations in water ranged from 0.3?µg?L?1 above the uranium mineralization levels to 145?µg?L?1 in groundwaters percolating from mine galleries. Such uranium concentrations are related to natural weathering effects of CO2 and/or hydrogen carbonate ion on uranium mineralizations under oxic conditions. A marked seasonal dependence was then found, in agreement with literature data on a pre-operational survey dating back to 1980–1981. No significant chemical impact of the abandoned mining activity on groundwater quality could be found. Accordingly, no significant increase in contaminants derived from the heat-burn of explosives, such as chloride and nitrate, in groundwaters from mine galleries was found.  相似文献

The mass transport and charge transfer kinetics of ozone reduction at Nafion coated Au electrodes were studied in 0.5 mol/L H2SO4 and highly resistive solutions such as distilled water and tap water. The diffusion coefficient and partition coefficient of ozone in Nafion coating are 1.78×10-6 cm2·s-1 and 2.75 at 25℃ (based on dry state thickness), respectively. The heterogeneous rate constants and Tafel slopes for ozone reduction at bare Au are 4.1×10-6 cm·s-1, 1.0×10-6 cm·s-1 and 181 mV, 207 mV in 0.5 mol/L H2SO4 and distilled water respectively and the corresponding values for Nafion coated Au are 5.5×10-6 cm·s-1, 1.1×10-6 cm·s-1 and 182 mV, 168 mV respectively. The Au microelectrode with 3 μm Nafion coating shows good linearity over the range 0-10 mmol/L ozone in distilled water with sensitivity 61 μA·ppm-1 ·cm-2, detection limit 10 ppb and 95% response time below 5 s at 25℃. The temperature coefficient in range of 11-30℃ is 1.3%.  相似文献

A novel flow injection system incorporating a micro-column packed with carbon nanotubes (CNTs) as an adsorbent has been applied to the on-line preconcentration of trace silver with detection by flame atomic absorption spectrometry. Silver is first chelated by dithizone (H2Dz), then retained on the CNTs surface and afterward quantitatively eluted by methanol. Influencing parameters, including the concentration of reaction reagent, enrichment variables, and elution variables were investigated. The adsorption mechanisms of Ag-H2Dz chelate retained onto the CNTs surface have also been studied. By loading 6.9 mL sample solution, a linear calibration graph is obtained within the range of 3–120 µg L?1 with R of 0.9996, and a detection limit (3σ) of 0.8 µg L?1 is achieved, along with a precision of 1.6% R.S.D. at the 30 µg L?1 level (n = 7). The dynamic sorption capacity of CNTs for silver is 122 mg g?1. The procedure is demonstrated by measurement of spike recovery in a series of water samples, giving rise to spike recoveries in the range of 96.8–99.7%.  相似文献

Using 1-hexyl-3-methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate ([C6MIM][PF6]) ionic liquid as extraction solvent, five estrogens including estrone (E1), 17β-estradiol (E2), estriol (E3), 17α -ethynylestradiol (EE2), and diethylstilbestrol (DES) in water samples were determined by dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction (DLLME) followed by high performance liquid chromatography with a photodiode array detector and a fluorescence detector (HPLC-DAD-FLD). The extraction procedure was induced by the formation of cloudy solution, which was composed of fine drops of [C6MIM][PF6] dispersed entirely into the sample solution with the help of a disperser solvent (acetone). Parameters including both extraction and disperser solvents and their volumes, extraction and centrifugal time, sample pH, and salt effect were investigated and optimized. Under the optimized conditions, 110–349 fold enrichment factors of analytes were obtained. The calibration curves were linear in the concentration range of 0.2–100 µg L?1 for E2, E3, and EE2 detected with FLD, and 1–100 µg L?1 for E1 and DES detected with DAD. The correlation coefficient of the calibration curve was between 0.9990 and 0.9997. The limits of detection (LOD, S/N = 3) for the five estrogens were in the range of 0.08–0.5 µg L?1. The relative standard deviations (RSD) for six replication experiments at the concentration of 5.0 µg L?1 were ≤5.7%. The proposed method was applied to the analysis of three water samples from different sources (river water, waste water, and sea water). The relative recoveries of spiked water samples are satisfied with 89.3–102.4% and 88.7–105.2% at two different concentration levels of 5.0 and 50.0 µg L?1, respectively.  相似文献

A selective method for the determination of fourteen nitroimidazoles and their hydroxy-metabolites in honey was developed based on improved molecularly imprinted solid-phase extraction followed by liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry. The separation of analytes was performed on a C18 column using a mobile phase of 0.1% formic acid in acetonitrile and 0.1% formic acid in water with gradient elution. The method was suitable for metronidazole, hydroxymetronidazole, dimetridazole, ronidazole, hydroxydimetridazole, ipronidazole, hydroxyipronidazole, carnidazole, menidazole, nimorazole, ornidazole, secnidazole, ternidazole, and tinidazole. The procedure was evaluated according to EU Commission Decision 2002/657/EC requirements by determining linearity, specificity, recovery, repeatability, within-laboratory reproducibility, decision limit, detection capability, matrix effects, and stability. The method determined nitroimidazoles and their hydroxy-metabolites below the recommended concentration level of 3 µg kg?1. The decision limits and detection capabilities ranged from 0.110 µg kg?1 to 0.387 µg kg?1 and from 0.179 µg kg?1 to 0.508 µg kg?1, respectively. The results from stability tests indicated that all analyzed nitroimidazoles were stable in honey stored at 4°C for at least 28 weeks and that elevated temperature and exposure to light exposure accelerated their degradation. The method was successfully applied to the analysis of a wide variety of honey samples.  相似文献

A kinetic spectrophotometric method has been developed for the determination of trace amounts of uranium(IV) based on its catalytic effect on the phosphomolybdic acid iodide reaction. A significant feature of the proposed procedure is the selectivity for uranium(IV); it enables the determination of trace amount of uranium in the presence of large excess of rare metalions and other cations and anions. The method can be applied to the determination of uranium within the concentration range of 0–12μg· cm?3, and the detection limit of the method is 0.02μg·cm?3. Trace amounts of uranium in thorium nitrate and scandium oxide had been determined by the procedure and the results are satisfactory.  相似文献

Abstract

The voltammetric behavior of rosiglitazone was studied using direct current (DCt), differential pulse (DPP), and alternating current (ACt) polarography. The drug manifests cathodic waves over a pH range of 2–11.2. In Britton‐Robinson buffer (BRb; pH 4), the diffusion current–concentration relationship was found to be rectilinear over a range of 4–24 µg · mL?1 and 0.1–16 µg · mL?1 using DCt and DPP modes, respectively, with minimum limits of detection (LOD) of 0.15 µg · mL?1 and 0.07 µg · mL?1 using the DCt and DDP modes, respectively. The diffusion‐current constant (I d) was 6.63±0.03 (n=5). The proposed method was successfully applied to the determination of the studied compound both in pure form and in formulations. The mean percentage recoveries in tablets were 100.09±1.18 and 100.85±0.88 (n=5) using DCt and DPP modes, respectively. Furthermore, the proposed method, adopting the DPP mode, was applied to the determination of rosiglitazone in spiked human plasma and the obtained mean percentage recoveries were 99.14±3.29 (n=4).  相似文献
